Chinese engineers were the main target
Eid mubarak by Sindhudesh Liberation Army or a false flag operation?

A blast rattled the area of Bin-Qasim on Monday just a few seconds after the convoy of Chinese engineers passed through main National Highway.
No casualties were reported, however the green belt of the road was damaged
suspects of Sindhudesh Liberation Army had claimed to have planted bomb
"Sindhudesh Liberation Army is involved in the incident as its terrorists have been doing such activities in all over the Sindh to disturb the peace"
The Sindhudesh Liberation Army (Also Known as Sindh Liberation Army or SLA) is an organization based in the Sindh province of Pakistan comparable to the Balochistan Liberation Army in terms of is objectives strives to establish an independent state of Sindhu Desh.
The group is currently headed by Chief Commander Darya Khan.
Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz's Chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat is allegedly operating Sindhudesh Liberation Army from Kabul with support of Indian backed elements
Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army Condemns the China -Pakistan Economic Corridor, because it is not in the interest of Sindhis and the Baluch nations. Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army Claims the Responsibility of the BOMB Attacks on CHINES ENGINEERS in Karachi today and warns the Chinese that they should not become the part of any Project in sindh which may be against the national interest of sindhis. SRA will continue its struggle till the freedom of Sindhudesh".

In my opinion, a false flag op.

Opposition parties demand PM's resignation

ISLAMABAD: The main opposition parties seem to be on the same page to draft combine strategy to mount pressure on PM Nawaz for his resignation in light of Panama Joint Investigation teams’ (JIT) report which was submitted to Apex Court, revealing glaring discrepancies in Sharif family assets and means of sources, Geo News reported. While chairing the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee in the National Assembly on Tuesday, opposition leader Khursheed Shah said that Nawaz Sharif must quit Prime Minister’s slot following the JIT’s report for the sack of democracy.

The Opposition parties including PPP, PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami, MQM Pakistan, PSP, PML-Q, are demanding instant resignation of PM Nawaz Sharif and for requisition to summon National Assembly session. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has also demanded the Prime Minister’s resignation and called its important meeting on July 14 in this connection. Not to denigrate "Paki Democracy" and the Rule Of Law", blah, blah, blah, IMO, the opposition parties are a "nuisance factor" in the bigger scheme of thing! Ultimately, it is the Army who will be the final arbiter of the Ganja's replacement. If, he has struck a deal, with Bajwa and the crore core commanders, nothing can be done about it - until the next elections

Man stabs sister to death over 'honour' in Sherakot

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) - A man in Sherakot killed his sister after stabbing her with a knife in the name of honour. According to police, Nazia married the man of her choice two years back. Ishfaque after being outraged by the taunts of locals and relatives pulled out a knife and killed the 25-year-old woman. A case was registered against him by his elder brother. Police arrested Ishfaque who confessed to his crime. The suspect is a father to four children. Nothing "shocking" in the news, as this kind of "particular crime" is reported on a "regular basis" by the Paki Press. In this particular case, this story is accompanied by a "gruesome ( most like fictional !) picture of a "knife and a hand" for dramatic effect !.

Popularity Of Facebook And Other Social Medium Brings Its Own Evil Rewards

Peshawar man gets 12-year jail term for blackmailing woman on Facebook
The Express Tribune
PESHAWAR:
A man was handed down 12 years in prison in Peshawar on Tuesday for creating a fake Facebook profile of a woman and then blackmailing her. The court also imposed a fine of Rs0.3 million on Muhammad Munir. The duration of the sentence handed down by additional session judge Usman Ali is unprecedented in the country’s history of cybercrime cases. IMO, Pakistani justice is "two faced" . In this particular case, there is only "one" victim, and the culprit ( Mohd Munir ) was probably doing this crime to make ends meet. While on the other hand, documents upon documents were forged by Madame Maryam Sharif ( "Daughter of the Nation) and submitted to the so-called JIT Team. And she was caught ! However, she has only been "cited" for forgery, and is still enjoying the perks of a Paki MNA . When will she be charged and put into jail , as in this case, the 170 Million + awaam were the collective victims
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Munir in March 2015 under the Electronics Transaction Ordinance 2002 for illegally accessing someone’s electronic data. FIA should go after the "Big Fish" !
Earlier in 2015, two young boys were arrested by the FIA for running a Facebook page to harass and blackmail female students studying in colleges in Peshawar. ( Face Book has become a "useful tool" for youngsters to "break into" IT at a tender age. Some promising "start-ups" in Syria, Yemen or even Saudia , might make them a "good offer" )Khan said complaints of cybercrimes had increased after the passing of the ‘Prevention of Electronic Crime Act, 2016.

Coordination needed with India, Afghanistan to mitigate flood threat

All the relevant authorities looking at ways to mitigate and counter flood threats have stressed the need for improved coordination with India and Afghanistan regarding details of heavy water flow from these countries.
As an upper riparian neighbour, India should cooperate by timely sharing information on water outflow from its rivers and actual rainfall recorded as stipulated in the Indus Waters Treaty.
At the same time there is a need to improve the ‘early warning’ arrangement on water inflow from eastern and western rivers so that timely and effective response may be initiated to avoid losses
The problem of floods in cities is closely connected to unchecked urbanisation and blockage of drains
However, the meeting was informed that there was no immediate threat of water release from India as most of its reservoirs were well below maximum capacity level.
Met Department told them that the country’s two main radars in this regard were underperforming.
The weather radar at Mangla was established around 25 years ago and is obsolete, another radar system was established at Sialkot in 2007, but it has been underperforming due to lack of proper maintenance.

OK, and then what? India gives you a heads up (Waaterrr!!) and then what are you going to do about it? Pakis know that India will not hold back an overflowing reservoir and per IWT must open the sluices. If the pakis do not have an effective water management system or an ability to predict rainfall in its vicinity, all advance warnings will be wasted.

" Daughter Of The Nation" - Maryam Sharif Caught In A Massive Lie :D

We asked the creator of Calibri to weigh in on the JIT Debate .

The joint investigation team (JIT) investigating the ruling Sharif family's financial history may have found many 'anomalies' in the respondents' statements; but none quite captured the public imagination like the fact that key documents submitted by Maryam Nawaz were found to be 'faked' — given away by their use of the Calibri font.
"As far as I know, the first public beta versions of Calibri were published in 2006. We do not know the exact date for this public release date [but] it is [still] extremely unlikely that somebody would copy fonts from a beta environment to use in official documents," it adds.
De Groot said in his opinion the document signed by Maryam Nawaz was "produced much later, when Calibri was the default font in MS Word".
There were indications that the Wikipedia entry for the Calibri font had also been changed repeatedly to reflect a similar claim till Wikipedia itself placed a hold on editing the page till July 18 "or till editing disputes are solved". :D

Ex- Fauji Chairman Of WAPDA Says That Pakistan Wastes 90% Of It's Water

Pakistan wastes water worth Rs25bn annually: Wapda Chairman.

Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) Chairman retired Lt Gen Muzamil Hussain during a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee on Wednesday revealed that Pakistan wastes water worth Rs25 billion every year. Hussain, while briefing the committee, said that although Pakistan receives 145 million acre feet of water (100%) every year. However, only 14m acre feet of water ( 10% ) is preserved. So, by saying this, he also debunks Hafiz Suar's oft repeated claims that India is "stealing" Paki water. !
The chairman said that due to soil gathering at the base of Tarbela Dam, the storage capacity of the dam has decreased by 36 per cent. Therefore, constructing the Diamer-Bhasha dam is necessary, he added. Tarbela, one of the world’s largest earth-filled dams, was completed in 1978 with the World Bank’s assistance under the Indus Water Treaty signed by Pakistan and India. Pakistanis have never been known to maintain their national assets be it Tarbela Dam, National Highways or even Trucks ( Bahawalpur Accident !)
Hussain regretted that only two dams had been built in the country over the past 70 years. But "Bum For Islam" was given a "priority" !
An independent Chinese consultant ( last resort due to lack of funds  ) hired by Wapda to conduct a feasibility study on desilting of the Tarbela dam claimed that desiltation of the dam is not a viable option either economically or technically, and may damage the country’s largest power house and reservoir, a senior government official shared with Dawn in an earlier report.
The Wapda chairman in today's briefing informed the committee that the cost of the Neelum-Jhelum power project was Rs4bn in the beginning. Now the project's costs have increased to Rs500bn, he said.
The percentage increase is astounding
Both Awami Muslim League head Sheikh Rashid took issue with work on the Neelum-Jhelum power project. Rashid said Rs41bn had been paid against "the world's only project initiated without conducting a geological survey", as it stood at the fault line for an earthquake. The area where the project is situated was struck by an earthquake in 2005, a year after work began on it, he said.

Many organizations banned in Pakistan thrive online

Kathy Gannon, Associated Press. ( veteran reporter residing in Pakistan and Afghanistan for last 20 years!)

ISLAMABAD (AP) — It’s dusk. The shadows of three men brandishing assault rifles welcome the reader to the Facebook page of Lashkar-e-Islam, one of 65 organizations that are banned in Pakistan, either because of terrorist links or as purveyors of sectarian hate. Still more than 40 of these groups operate and flourish on social media sites, communicating on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Telegram, according to a senior official with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency, or FIA, who is tasked with shutting down the sites. They use them to recruit, raise money and demand a rigid Islamic system. It is also where they incite the Sunni faithful against the country’s minority Shiites and extoll jihad, or holy war, in India-ruled Kashmir and in Afghanistan. “It’s like a party of the banned groups online. They are all on social media,” the FIA official told The Associated Press. He spoke on condition his name not be used because agency officials are not allowed to be quoted by name.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is waging a cyber crackdown on activists and journalists who use social media to criticize the government, the military or the intelligence agencies. The Interior Ministry even ordered the FIA, Pakistan’s equivalent of the American FBI, to move against “those ridiculing the Pakistan Army on social media.” The FIA official said the agency has interrogated more than 70 activists for postings considered critical. All but two have been released and a third is still under investigation, he said. Activists, journalists and rights groups who monitor Pakistan’s cyberspace say the banned groups active on social media operate unencumbered because several are patronized by the military, its intelligence agencies, radical religious groups and politicians looking for votes.
Even the FIA official concedes state support for some of the banned groups but said it is a global phenomenon engaged in by all intelligence agencies.
“Everyone is protecting their own terrorists. Your good guy is my bad guy and vice versa,” he said, adding that some sites belonging to banned groups are intentionally ignored to gain intelligence..On one Facebook page, the Afghan Taliban flag welcomes viewers, its masthead emblazoned with Arabic script identifying the page as belonging to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Still another Facebook site features one of India’s most wanted, Hafiz Saeed, the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba, another banned organization and a U.S. declared terrorist group.
Saeed even has a $10 million U.S.-imposed bounty on his head. Yet his group, which has been resurrected under several names, is billed as a charity and has several Facebook pages. Currently called Falah-e-Insaniat, the group boasts of its community work, but its pages feature anti-India videos, call Syria a bleeding wound, rail against India and chastise the Pakistan government for siding with the U.S. following the 9/11 attacks.

Facebook and Twitter have said that they ban “terrorist content.” In the second half of last year, Twitter said on its site it had suspended 376,890 accounts because they were thought to promote terrorism, although they say less than 2 percent of the removals were the result of requests from governments. Facebook, meanwhile, said in a blog last month it uses artificial intelligence and human reviewers to find and remove “terrorist content.”
“There is no place on Facebook for terrorism,” Facebook spokeswoman Clare Wareing said in an email reply to The Associated Press. “Our Community Standards do not allow groups or people that engage in terrorist activity, or posts that express support for terrorism. We encourage people to use our reporting tools if they find content that they believe violates our standards, so we can investigate and take action.”
Shahzad Ahmed, of the Islamabad-based social media rights group BytesForAll, said Pakistan’s powerful military and intelligence agencies are waging a “communication war” against progressive, moderate voices and those who criticize the government and more particularly the military and its agencies. They use radical religious groups to promote their narrative, he said.
“Their connectivity on the ground, the mosques, madrassas and supporters translates into social media strength and they are (further) strengthened because they feel ‘no one is going to touch us,’” he said.

anupmisra Ji :

No Sir! Neither A typo, freudian slip or wishful thinking! It is our "Out of the Mouths of Babes!

POPULATION OF PAKISTAN (000)

1951 : 033,740 1961 : 042,880 1972 : 065,309 1981 : 084,254 1998 : 132,352

Sometime back I made calculations in respect of Pakistani Population and arrived at a figure of about 250 Million.

I based the figures on the following :

Clapistani Population :

Between the 21 Years Period of 1951 to 1972 the Population figure Doubled.

Again between 20 Years Period of 1961 to 1972 the Population figure Doubled.

Now, I took the figure of Clapistani Population in 1998 as 132.352 Million for a period of 17 Years. It should have be nearly Doubled in 17 Years to - shall we say – 150 Million. Then in the 19 Year Period of 1998 to 2017 i.e. 19 Years the Clapistani Population must DOUBLE AGAIN i.e. 300 Million. Thus I remain corrected and the Clapistani Popultion indeed has crossed 300 million while Karachi's population is 30 million.

Please note that in 1951 the Population of Karachi was ONE MILLION. Thus Clapistani Population increasing by NINE TIMES IS - AS WE SAY - NO BIG DEAL!

VOILÀ!

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan - June 20, 2017

Scorecard at seventy

In a few weeks, Pakistan will turn threescore years and ten or 70 years old. How has it fared over the years? Has the balance sheet been evenly spread or it is tilting downwards? We have managed to get it right in six areas and have failed in six others.
As for our failures – in terms of severity, if not chronology – the secession of East Pakistan after 24 years of Partition has been the most grievous loss ever. Today, it does not matter whether the main cause was structural or individual. There were ways to avoid the humiliation and the memory is disturbing. The old country was substituted by the ‘new Pakistan’. No one bothered to understand how new or how different this new country was.
The artificial creation of One Unit Scheme in 1956 – a political ploy to offset East Pakistan’s majority by amalgamating the four provinces into West Pakistan against their wishes – was a daft move. It caused unnecessary administrative chaos and political alienation. Fortunately, this is now a closed and past transaction.
The third misstep – which was arguably one of the most cardinal sins – was to initiate the war in 1965 with India. The war adversely affected us despite the valour of our pilots, troops and young officers. The economic take-off was aborted, investment potential was ceased and the gate was opened for East Pakistan to separate. The Kargil War in 1999 was another disaster. Two generals – one of whom imagined he was a field marshal – were responsible for this. Ours were raw when it came to war.
The fourth failure has been the absence of good governance since Partition. In theory, effective governance is easily accomplished. All it requires is inclusive political will, administrative determination and effective accountability. This has been largely lacking over the years. The insecurity of life, liberty and property and the poor dispensation of justice right from the thana, tehsil and kachery is the cause for real despair. Even now, the high courts seldom deliver. And when they do, it is at glacial speed.
The fifth failure is the limited focus on the development of human resources. This remains baffling as everyone knows that focusing on this area will steer progress in all fields. The poor literacy rate, an inadequate health cover, the low priority for family planning activities and the inability to provide drinking water and sanitation services is not understood. In addition to this, scientific, technical and vocational education has been neglected while the focus remains on general universities. Every KP district has what is called a ‘university’ churning out half-baked degree-holders whom no one wants to employ. This is the sad reality. Similarly, the failure to protect our environment and not adhere to scientific land use planning is also not understood. The future is surely going to punish us all.
And the final failure – for which there is no excuse – is our inability to sufficiently exploit the country’s water, power and minerals resources. The fault for not building the Kalabagh, Diamer-Bhasha, Shyok, Akhori and Munda-Mohmand dams lies solely on us and not with our stars. Each of these projects would have contributed billions of rupees worth of water, power and employment assets to the economy annually. With the multiplier added, this could be three times as much. Lately, there has also been progress on some water sector projects.
So what does our scorecard look like? We know that many countries have achieved twice as much as we have in nearly half the time. Does this mean that we have lost the first match by an innings? Keep your fingers crossed as there is hope on the horizon. The next 70 years already look auspicious in many ways. The worst is behind us. Let us pray that the ‘sins of our fathers’, as the saying goes, are not perpetuated. Pakistan Zindabad shouldn’t just remain a throaty slogan. Me thinks Clapistan has More then Four Fathers

Now PIA Planes Are Falling Apart In The Air :D

PIA Airbus A320's wing panel detaches during flight

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Airbus A320, en route from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar, escaped calamity, as a panel from the left wing of the plane got detached during the flight. According to the reports, the incident damaged the plane severely but Captain Ali Mansoor, the pilot of the plane, managed to land the Airbus safely at the Peshawar airport. Upon inspection, it was found out that three important screws of the separated panel were also missing. According to PIA spokesperson, it has been ordered to conduct the investigations of this incident. Furthermore, the plane has been repaired at Peshawar airport, and the passengers have been sent to Karachi via flight PK-353. This is the latest in a stream of "bad news" that has been plaguing this decrepit airline for more than one year and for which apparently there is no sure remedy ! . The "airline" has been in the news for drug smuggling, rat infested aeroplanes, bad and stale food, pilot coming to work drunk , doors, seats and toilets falling apart, "ugly" and rude air hostesses, shoplifting in foreign locations by airline staff, not paying aircraft fuel bills on time, "corrupt" CEO, unsafe planes ( as in this case !) and other unknown malaise yet to be uncovered .

ISLAMABAD: Arshad Khan, the tea seller in Sunday Bazaar at Islamabad, who got famous due to his blue eyes and looks is proved to be from Afghanistan, reported Nawa-e-Waqt. He became famous after his picture got published on social media and he also got a chance in modeling and acting due to his blue eyes and attractive personality. But according to NADRA, he is an Afghan national.Arshad Khan was a tea seller at Sunday Bazaar Islamabad, and became social media sensation when his picture was published on social media due to his looks.Even Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Omar Zakhilwal confirmed the news. What is next in store for him is anybody's guess. Deportation to Afghanistan for sure . ( Like Sharbat Gula , the National Geographic iconic girl recently deported !). Hope he is not now accused of being a RAA/ NDA agent for deliberately concealing his "true identity"

Prime Minister will not step down: Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, tweeted on Wednesday that the premier would not step down. As pressure grows on the government after the JIT report was made public on July 10 and almost all democratic parties have called on the premier to step down, Maryam Nawaz stated categorically that Nawaz Sharif would not resign. Maryam stated clearly that the Prime Minister would not resign since no allegation of corruption had been proven against him till date.

Will fauj force him down? Will Imran take to the streets ? Stayed tuned :D

You are Welcome.

Now Clapistan with a Population of 300 Million and a GDP of about US$ 304 Billion the Per Capita Income per Aam Abdul, Burka Bilkis and Nanha Jihadi would be in the vicinity of US 1,000. In addition with the Mounting Debt Clapistan is going to gallop towards DESTABILIZATION and India should totally seal its Border with Clapistan so as to avoid being Flooded with a Deluge of Clapistani Refugees.

I would not like to see India suffer the same fate as Europe especially now that the Clapistani Population is 300 Million we will find possibly 100 Million Clapistani Refugees in India.

Intercepted transcript reveals Pakistan is supplying chemical weapons to Hizbul Mujahideen

Pakistan is reportedly providing chemical weapons to Kashmiri separatist group Hizbul Mujahideen for carrying out terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, audio excerpts intercepted by Indian security agencies have revealed. The transcripts, accessed by CNN-News18, are irrefutable proof that Pakistan is aiding and abetting terror activities in the Valley. The terrorist outfits lost 90 members over the last few months and scoring chemical weapons is seen as a desperate attempt to hit back at the Indian armed forces.
The transcripts revealed Hizbul militants already have the chemical weapons in possession. Hizbul plans to use such weapons to startle Indian security forces."Peer Sahib [LeT chief Hafiz Muhammed Saeed] wants me, but my people want me back. Our next programme will be after Eid...We will plan our next move after Eid," the transcript says, CNN-News18 reported. "Inshallah, we are going to get lots of support from Pakistan...things are happening along the border. In days to come, Pakistan will step-up its anti-India game,' an operative of the Hizbul Mujahideen can be heard saying.
The operative goes on to say: "Till now we've used grenade launchers on the Indian army...killing just 3-4 and injuring a few. But now it's time to change our tactics. We will straightaway use chemical weapons...to kill as many as possible at the same time."Lieutenant General (Retired) GD Bakshi told the channel: "It seems they are looking for a big terror attack." BJP MP RK Singh also reacted to the report saying: "If this sort of escalation take place then that will lead to war. Handler of Hizbul Mujahideen need to think carefully. This will lead to massive outrage in India and world." IMO, they would have no hesitation to use this "outlawed weapon" and they would of course, deny it that they used it !

Reko Diq gold mine project: Pakistan may face $11.5-billion penalty
The Express Tribune

ISLAMABAD:
An arbitration tribunal of the World Bank has ruled in favor of Tethyan Copper Company Pvt Ltd (TCC) in a case involving the Reko Diq gold mine project in Balochistan. As a result of the ruling, Pakistan may face a penalty of $11.5 billion for not awarding the project to TCC. The World Bank’s International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) had earlier rejected Pakistan government’s application to dismiss TCC’s claims on grounds of corruption and malpractices by the latter.
Both the federal and provincial governments submitted applications before the ICSID and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague during 2015-16, seeking admittance of new evidence showing TCC’s corrupt practices in Reko Diq affairs for illegal and undue gains. The move was futile, however, as the court ruled against the government for unlawful denial of the mining lease for Reko Diq to TCC- a joint venture between Chile’s Antofagasta and Canada’s Barrick Gold Corporation. The arbitration claim had been submitted in 2012 by the TCC. Five years later, in 2017, it filed for compensatory damages amounting to $9.1 billion based on fair market value of its investments in the project till November 15, 2011. In addition, it also filed a claim of $2.3 billion as pre-award compound interest. The government has to submit its reply to TCC’s damages claims by July 21. The Paki Govt, IMO, had no intention to award the contract to TCC. The Paki Fed Govt, due to "strategic reasons" had decided to give the development of the mine to Chini interests. There were some also rumours that the Chinese had decided to fund the World Bank penalty !
The previous government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had tried to settle the dispute with TCC but failed. It had also warned the Balochistan government that the federal government will not pay damages in case of an adverse ruling from international tribunals.
Second was the purported involvement of a Chinese company in the project.
...had advised against involving Metallurgical Corporation of China in the same mining site.
The mine has estimated reserves of 11.65 million tons of copper and 21.18 million ounces of gold. Everything for the Chinese and their Pakjabi allies under the auspices of CPEC, Nothing for the Baloch awaam on which this "treasure" stands

Events are moving fast in Pakistan as a result of yesterday's announcement :D

Section 144 imposed in Islamabad for two months

The notification was released from the office of Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmed. The order is effective immediately for two months.
The last time a ban on unlawful assembly turned controversial was in the run-up to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's Nov 2 lockdown of Islamabad last year in an attempt to create hurdles for the party's planned siege of the capital. Remains to be seen if the "order" is challenged in court !

KP & FATA Demand for PM's resignation a conspiracy against CPEC: Fazl

PESHAWAR: Standing by the prime minister, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said on Wednesday that the post-Panama Papers report situation was a ploy to sabotage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

“Whatever’s going on is not a fight against corruption, but against [Priem Minister] Nawaz Sharif and to destabilise the country,” the Jamiat UIema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief told reporters at the party’s secretariat in Peshawar.

He snubbed the criticism that the JUI-F had always supported Sharif and his party.

“I am not supporting Sharif but protecting the interests of the country,” he added.

In fact, Fazl claimed, Sharif was angry with him for not coming out to his defence and remaining silent in the post-JIT report scenario.

Fazl says he was offered money to back PTI’s ‘agenda’ in K-P

The JUI-F chief said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were very different from each other, but the Panama Papers case had brought them closer.

“A matter [Panama Papers leak] that was deemed not even ‘worthy of hearing’ by the Supreme Court has now been turned into the biggest issue faced by the country,” Fazl observed.

“The PTI and other political parities demanding the resignation of the prime minister are only destabilising the country and sabotaging the CPEC,” he added.

Fazl maintained that there was an American lobby in Pakistan that was working against interests of the country and supporting the PTI and other parties demanding the prime minister’s ouster.

“The country is not ready for such adventures. Now that we are seeing some hope of an economic revival, they [rival parties] have started making efforts to uproot the system.”

Reminds me of the following Ayaz Amir & Farruk Saleem "Kya Ho Raha Hai" YouTube Presentation ,where in any doubts expressED are taken as being against CPEC :

Shell pays compensation to victims of Pakistani oil fire
By The Associated Press— Jul 12, 2017,

ISLAMABAD
A subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell said Wednesday that it made full payment in damages and compensation to the victims of an oil tanker fire in Pakistan that killed 215 people last month, hours after Pakistan's oil and gas regulator threatened legal action. The tragedy took place after a fuel tanker crashed and started leaking on the side of a highway and hundreds of people from a nearby village rushed to the scene to collect the spilled fuel. They were engulfed in flames when the spill ignited.Pakistan subsequently asked Shell to pay $2.4 million, or $9,500 to the families of each person killed.
On Wednesday, Shell Pakistan Limited in a statement said it made full payment to Pakistan's Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, which would distribute the money among the victims. The latest development came after Shell said it was in discussions with Pakistani authorities over the "means by which this financial assistance can appropriately reach the injured and the families who have lost their loved ones." It did not specify the amount it planned to pay.Imran Ghazanvi, a spokesman for Pakistan's oil and gas regulator, confirmed they received about $2.4 million on Wednesday afternoon. He said their probe found the company responsible for the disaster. The tanker was not fit to transport oil and the driver's license was invalid, he added.
Shell Pakistan Limited had already paid a $96,000 fine over the disaster.

So, Shell has settled the lawsuit on Paki terms, even though the Report listed lots of other reasons, mainly related to negligence on the part of Paki authorities . New value on Paki life $ 9,500 ( hopefully Amreeki Dollars !) . Full payment to Paki OGRA which would ( in theory only !) distribute the money among the victims . So obviously, there is a lot of scope for .....

Reko Diq gold mine project: Pakistan may face $11.5-billion penalty

https://tribune.com.pk/story/1455875/re ... n-penalty/

In addition, it also filed a claim of $2.3 billion as pre-award compound interest. The government has to submit its reply to TCC’s damages claims by July 21.TCC and Balochistan reached a deadlock in 2009 because of two issues. First, TCC wanted Balochistan to bear 25% financial obligation according to its share in the project. But the province refused to take any financial responsibility.Second was the purported involvement of a Chinese company in the project. A letter written by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Chile Burhanul Islam to then Petroleum Minister Naveed Qamar in September 2009 had advised against involving Metallurgical Corporation of China in the same mining site.

PAKISTAN: Non-Muslims forced to do sanitary work

In an act of blatant discrimination against the Christian religious minority, and an infringement of Article 27 of the Constitution of Pakistan, the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has invited applications for the job of sewers from Non-Muslims only. Moreover, applicants are required to take an oath on their religious holy book - Geeta or Bible – that they will never do anything else but work as a sanitary worker, and will never refuse to carry out the work.
This is not the first time that Article 27, which provides safeguards against discrimination in services or employment, has been so blatantly trampled upon. The government has adopted a systemic policy of reserving sanitation posts for non-Muslims
Since 2013, when the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province offered a public apology for stating that “Muslims cannot be hired as sweepers or cleaners,” because sanitation work “can only be carried out by Christians, Hindus and lower castes”, the state has adopted an unapologetic attitude for such discrimination. In March 2017 for instance, an advertisement for sweepers in Bannu district, northwestern Pakistan, called for applicants from Hindu, Christians and Shia religious minorities. Although officials now claim that ‘Shia’ was added by mistake, they maintain that religious minorities are preferred for these jobs. KP Province is ruled by Imran Khan's PTI party . If he was serious about minorities, he should take measures to uplift their employment opportunities !
The government of Pakistan must stop forcing religious minorities into degrading jobs. It should also work on sensitizing society, to encourage a pluralistic and egalitarian atmosphere where the rights of minorities are equally protected. It is imperative for a strengthened Pakistan that all its citizens, regardless of caste, colour, ethnicity, political or religious association, be treated on equal footing by the state. The government of Punjab in particular, should immediately stop the policy of discrimination and bias against its beleaguered Christian community.

After Chowk wrapped up, they started their own website called “Observing Liberal Pakistan”. How strange is this obsession with Pakistan that it forces Indians living thousands of miles away in the US to “observe” liberal Pakistanis and call them out. Note that it is not about observing Pakistani right wing or Pakistani ultra nationalists or Pakistani Islamists but Pakistani liberals for it is Pakistani liberals who challenge their myopic view of Pakistan.

May Allah nourish us jingos daily on TFTA bakis' tears of rage. Ameen.

YLH (Yasser Latif Hamdani) is a piece of work; a seeming "liberal" who is really a hard-core Pakistani two-nation-theorist.
I wasn't much on chowk.com; observingliberalpakistan.blogspot.com is mine alone. It is partly inspired by Jinnah and YLH, the liberal facade fools so many on casual observation; it is only people like Margaret Bourke-White who got to the reality. (e.g., http://iref.homestead.com/Messiah.html ) Also the observation that Jinnah was called the "Ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity" by people innocent of idea (e.g., Sarojini Naidu) that an ambassador is needed only between two nations (e.g., who is the ambassador of Tamil-Andhra unity?); and this sobriquet is considered to be a high point of "secularism". And the immediate reason that "Pak Tea House", supposedly a liberal Pakistani web-site, had a policy of deleting any dissenting comments.
