Something "Fishy" Is Going On In Khyber Agency Of FATA

FATA clerics apologise for torching musical instruments
KARACHI: Clerics from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) who recently torched musical instruments have tendered a written apology for their act, expressing regret for taking the law into their hands. The picture of the religious scholars overseeing the torching of musical instruments which they were said to have seized during raids on wedding ceremonies went viral and sparked public outrage. First, it was the torching that made "headlines", now it the "so-called apology" that has made news ! Obviously there is some sort of a media blackout, courtesy "Deep State"
According to unconfirmed reports, the instruments were set on fire in Khyber Agency. Maulana Ilyas Binori, Maulana Habi and Maulana Muhammad Ishaq Binori on Friday issued an apology for torching items at a seminary in Landi Kotal.
“These activities were result of misunderstanding. We will be careful in the future. Will never take the law into our hands and be peaceful citizens”. We are sorry for what we have done,” read a one-page statement issued by the clerics. Then there is the draconian Frontiers Crime Regulations, a carryover from British colonial times, still applicable in FATA, where whole tribes are collectively punished for a crime of few "miscreants" . So, this so-called "apology" , IMO, does not hold water. Just , a few days ago, some picnic goers were mysteriously kidnapped and taken to Afghanistan , in the same Tribal Agency . So, "something" is definitely brewing

"Closet Islamist" And "One Time Agent" Of "Deep State " Should Not Be Allowed To Spew His Anti- Modi And Anti India Tirade In A Respected Indian Newspaper Under The Pretext Of "Aman Ka Tamasha"

I know who is behind my death
HAMID MIR
Gauri Lankesh received three bullets in her body and died. I got seven bullets, but survived. I know I'm really lucky to be alive. Gauri's terrible death made me search for other similarities -- perhaps, I want her friends and family, my readers, anyone, someone, to know that I understand the pain and the grief and the anger, all twisted into one emotion, that follows when Death comes calling.
Are pro India Indian journalists allowed to voice their opinions in Pakistani newspapers ? . There is no need for this publicity hungry Pakjabi to insinuate and inenuate in the farticle ( for which he was likely compensated !) and create anti- India opinion . IMO, he is "trying" to do an = = with his own "experience" !

Sensible Tweet From An Indian ! ( "Shashwat on Twitter )

Where @HamidMirPAK and @mosharrafzaidi call india a "Rabid Dog" multiple times, Should media in India provide platforms to such bigots?

Spinning it, paki way.

Beyond diplomatic isolation
Pakistan is in a tight spot and it must dig itself out of it. No $hit, Sherlock.
the declaration issued at a recent Brics summit has added insult to injury.
Without naming Pakistan, the 10-year-old bloc, which represents major developing countries, has for the first time termed militant outfits that are allegedly based in the country a regional security concern.
The strongly-worded declaration issued at the Brics summit, which was hosted by Pakistan’s all-weather friend China, may have cut the country to the quick.
However, the impression that Beijing has ratted on Islamabad by agreeing to include the text in a statement issued at the recent summit a year later is wrong.
As China inches closer to becoming an economic superpower, one of the most potent threats that it faces is militancy. The declaration prefigures that China is toughening its stance on supporting subterranean outfits regardless of where they are based.
At any rate, bilateral relations involve taking the rough with the smooth.
At the same time, Islamabad will be ill-advised to put all its eggs in one basket, regardless of whether it is Beijing’s or Washington’s.
Pakistan has sallied forth in the war on terror, with thousands dead and billions lost. But it has not been able to make a persuasive sales pitch that it is set against militancy in any shape or form. Hence, its commitment to fight terrorism remains under question from both its friends and foes.
There you have it. Its all about the sale pitch.

"Tribal Justice" Being Openly Practiced In The Mega City Of Karachi

‘Kill them to salvage the tribe’s honour’
A teenage couple accused of violating the Pashtun ‘code of honour’ killed with electric shocks. The murders executed by family members on the orders of a jirga of elders of the Mohmand tribe. First to fall prey to misconstrued notions of honour was the 15-year-old girl. By the next sunrise, the 17-year-old boy too was no more. Over the next few days, their bodies simply disappeared, buried in the dark of night. There was no mourning, no last rites and no prayers for the departed. Due to the crackdown of "Deep State" under the guise of "fighting terrorism" many innocent Pashtuns are fleeing the Tribal Agencies and migrating to Karachi and setting up refugee camps in the outskirts of the city, where they dominate the transport trade and other petty jobs! The mohajirs have always accused the Pashtuns- rightly or wrongly - of many illegalities !
Any reader would be forgiven for assuming this brutal tragedy occurred somewhere in the tribal reaches of the country. But this was in Karachi, the largest urban centre of Pakistan, where the laws of the country apply in full force. The area where this atrocity played out was Ali Brohi Goth, a locality in the suburbs of Karachi that falls with the jurisdiction of the Ibrahim Hyderi police. As per information garnered from local residents and police sources, the wheels of tribal ‘justice’ were set in motion on August 14, the day the country celebrated 70 years of its existence.
These tribal Pashtuns have obviously been alienated from the "concept of Pakistan" !
The girl, 15-year-old Bakht Taj, daughter of Hikmat Khan, had allegedly attempted to elope with 17-year-old Rehman, son of Muhammad Afzal. Both families belong to the Safi sub-clan of the Mohmand tribe and reside in Ali Brohi Goth.On Independence Day, Taj disappeared from her house with cash and jewellery. While she stayed at a house in the nearby area of Gulshan-e-Buner, Rehman was to remain at his own home so as to not arouse suspicion.
Everyone involved in the barbaric murders tried to keep it a secret. Fortunately, though, news of the killings soon reached the authorities.
Activists working on gender issues and women’s rights say the practice of killing people over misconstrued notions of honour remains rampant in the country, particularly among Pashtun tribesmen. “Such incidents keep occurring in Karachi’s Pashtun-populated localities but due to geographical inaccessibility and an absence of a vibrant civil society in the neighbourhoods, news of these murders often does not make it to the media,” said Mahnaz Rahman, resident director of women’s rights body, Aurat Foundation. Unfortunately, there is no "easy answer" to this problem !

TV anchor Aamir Liaquat detained at Myanmar airport
BURMA – Renowned TV anchor Aamir Liaquat Hussain has been detained at Myanmar’s International Airport for unknown reasons, according to Bol Tv.
Liaquat, who had reportedly travelled to Burma to help out persecuted Rohingya Muslims was taken into custody by immigration authorities without being informed about the reasons for detention, media reports said.Bol Tv has confirmed the detention of the anchor who along with Waqar Zaka was en route to Burma.Liaquat had recorded a brief video message before boarding a Myanmar-bounded Thai Airways flight from Dubai International Airport: This super-uber Islami anchor, with a "fake doctorate" from Axact University should be deported back to Pakistan on the next available flight, or should be put into jail until "rescued" by the Paki consular authorities. !
Note: We have sent our queries to Aamir Liaquat who is currently unavailable for confirmation. The story will be updated once he responds to our queries.

After "Water Car" Fiasco, Is This For Real

Karachi-based professor manufactures solar-powered car
Karachi – A professor from Karachi manufactured his own solar powered automatic car capable of speed as much as 50 km per hour.
Professor Abid Karim, a Ph.D. in Electronics engineering has devised his own car which totally works on solar system and the experiment is visibly successful because Karim is using this car from two years.
The car which looks small has a capacity of four passengers.

Someone ( Professor Hoodbhoy ?) needs to verify this "tall claim" and give this Professor, credit, if credit is due to him

Paki Senate Panel Rejects Finding Of WHO Re. Groundwater Contaminated By Arsenic

‘Wildly exaggerated’: Senate panel rejects findings of WHO
During a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology presided over by its chairman Senator Osman Saifullah Khan, the officials of Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) insisted that the journal ‘Advance Sciences’ data are ‘wildly exaggerated’.
The officials also informed the committee members that Pakistan followed its own standard of measuring arsenic in water. They also informed the committee members that the concerned authorities had closed 200 points that were manufacturing bottled water which was highly contaminated and posed serious health risks. It may be understandable that the sample may not be representative of the whole population. But the Senate Standing Committee needs to give a measured response , not emotional outburst ( like the political proclaimations that there are no "terrorist groups in Pakistan !) to save the H&D of Pakiland

Arrested "Paki Mole" In US Congress- Awan - Will Most Likely Go "Scot Free" As Part Of A Bigger Deal

FBI: Awans Finalizing Immunity Deals with DOJ in Exchange For Testimony on Members of Congress
The legal teams for Imran Awan and Hina Alvi are close to finalizing immunity deals with the Justice Department that could spare them jail time in exchange for testimony against sitting members of Congress, federal law enforcement sources said.FBI sources familiar with the case said late Friday that Imran Awan’s legal counsel was “deep in the process” of structuring an immunity deal for himself and his wife with Justice Department lawyers. The deal would allow the couple to freely testify against any or all Democratic lawmakers they worked for as IT specialists, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
True Pundit reported on Thursday that the couple was working on a plea deal to avoid prison time. But on Friday federal sources said those talks had progressed into a likely immunity deal for the duo. The FBI, apparently has a "different agenda" than nailing Foreign ( Paki) Agents. They are entirely focused on domestic matters !
The focus of the federal probe has shifted from the bank fraud allegations against the Pakistani couple to classified intelligence breaches in Congress, FBI sources confirm. Before Friday, Awan had agreed to cooperate with DOJ and FBI to help “fill in gaps” in the bank fraud case against the Pakistani couple, who were indicted Aug. 17. But as talks with the FBI and Justice Department progressed this week, Awan also agreed to have his wife return from Pakistan to be arrested and face charges, sources said, and his legal team continues to cooperate with the FBI in “connected matters.” The deal would avoid a lengthy extradition battle between the United States and Pakistan.
The wife was "allowed" to escape to her homeland . Someone botched that !
His wife, Alvi, fled to Pakistan in March despite the FBI intercepting her at Dulles International Airport. Awan tried to do the same in July but was arrested. Alvi is expected to return to the United States in late Sept., according to recently filed court records memorializing part of the new deal. The couple now seeks a guarantee of no prison time. This could include an extended probation period for Awan without jail time, sources said. Previously, lawyers in the case wanted the DOJ to drop conspiracy and making false statement charges against the couple to help reduce the federal sentencing guidelines, sources said. By reducing the four-count indictment to one count of bank fraud, the judge in the Awan case would have leeway within sentencing guidelines to keep one or both of the defendants out of federal prison, sources said. Once more , the Pakis are given "preferential treatment" , as if someone higher up "does not want to annoy this Non Nato Major Ally any further
On Thursday, federal sources said while the DOJ could not explicitly request reduced or no jail time for either Awan or Alvi, the Justice Department could structure its sentencing report to the judge in a specific way that makes it very clear the government is not interested in incarcerating the couple. Likewise, unless the US Attorney specifically asks for jail time at the sentencing hearing, the judge understands the defendant has cooperated, sources said. Those stipulations would be eliminated as part of any comprehensive immunity deal that transcends “Queen for a Day” federal immunity.

Karachi-ites Being Shafted Due To Suspect Census Figures.

‘Doubtful’ census results may cause serious repercussions for Karachi, moot told.
MQM-Pakistan chief Dr Farooq Sattar said that although everyone from across the country was complaining about figures that didn’t add up in the population census, it was strange that all over Pakistan this census showed the same natural growth rate as 60 per cent. He also said that since resources depended on the population the real figures had been hidden. “
Waseem Aftab of Pak Sarzameen Party said that the government liked playing the game of numbers. “And the population census is all about numbers,” he said.“There are 18 towns of Karachi and most of them had a population of more than 1,000,000 earlier. Just do some quick maths to reach the correct estimate yourself,” he said.“Had the government been honest in going about collecting data for this census, it wouldn’t hide the population blocks data from us. Think about it,” he said. It is all about giving preference to Pakjab !

Punjab may lose 7 NA seats in new constituency delimitation

Punjab’s share in the general seats of the National Assembly is likely to go down by as much as seven when a new constituency delimitation exercise is conducted in accordance with the population figures provisionally released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics last month.
Punjab’s loss will mean gain for other provinces.

CPEC — first or final nail in the coffin? - Brig (Retd) Sahukat Qadir, DT
I have frequently and at some length I must confess, expressed apprehension about our new relationship paradigm with China, which of course has CPEC at its core. I had been hoping that — if nothing else — my relentless persistence might have prompted the stirrings of some sort of concern among those who softly tread the corridors of power.

Allow me to be clear: I am absolutely in no doubt whatsoever that CPEC holds the key to our economic revival. However, my worry is that we run the risk of being exploited. For we have allowed China to embrace us in a vice-like grip that threatens to cripple, if not crush, our economy. And we only have ourselves to blame. What else can we hope for after outsourcing our sovereignty in this way? As for our future generations — we offer them not a legacy of economic self-determination. Quite the opposite, in fact. We have simply changed the faces of those before whom we bow down; American idols are swapped for Chinese.

Yet alas and alack. It seems that my endeavours have fallen on resoundingly deaf ears.

After Trump’s recent diatribe in which he blamed Pakistan for the US failure to bring peace to Afghanistan — many Pakistanis felt reassured by both China and Russia jumping in to remind the world of our sacrifices. Then came a devastating blow. BRICS, the economic forum comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, issued a statement unanimously expressing misgivings over our support for active militant groups on this side of the border. As if that were not enough, the grouping also indirectly pointed its collective finger at our conduct vis-a-vis Afghanistan. Yet had the Chinese not agreed to rebuking Pakistan — the Russians certainly would have stalled.

The plot then thickened.

The question whispered on everyone’s lips: what caused the Chinese to recant? No one dared to ask this except in hushed tones. Perhaps fearful of what they might hear. Yet before attempting to suggest a response of sorts, allow me to proffer a little perspective.

In the piece I penned last week, I sought to express my confidence in the fact that while our earlier Afghan policy may have been questionable — our hands were no longer dirty. Naturally, such assertions by a terribly ordinary and, perhaps relatively uninformed, individual like myself, are not realistically expected to have any bearing on foreign relations. Nevertheless, is there more here than meets the eye? I, for one, certainly think so.

Regardless of the CPEC point of origin on the Chinese side — it ends at the Khunjerab Pass. Yet the entire Corridor actually runs from Khunjerab to Gwadar. North of this lies China and only China, thereby lending the C to the anacronym. Thus it is the area to south of Khunjerab that gives us the PEC

Back in May of this year, the Chinese Ambassador to New Delhi not only invited India to join CPEC — he went as far as proposing a renaming of the Corridor. This was all on record. Yet the latter part was duly rescinded. However, Chinese ambassadors, generally speaking, aren’t loose cannons the way some of ours are. Thus Beijing’s man in Delhi could never have extended such an overture without explicit approval from the top.

The mission to expunge the ‘offending’ words was surely undertaken at our behest. Yet we would not have been so foolish as to have huffed and puffed over the offer itself, preferring to limit ourselves to language alone. Inevitably, our objections were not taken too seriously in Beijing. The Ambassador was neither sacked nor rebuked. No apology was forthcoming. This could mean that none was actually sought. Or it could mean the opposite and that it was simply brushed aside.

I must admit that I have previously taken to these very pages to explore the above. But, if I may be so bold, I shall revisit the matter.

Regardless of the CPEC point of origin on the Chinese side — it ends at the Khunjerab Pass. Yet the entire Corridor actually runs from Khunjerab to Gwadar. North of this lies China and only China, thereby lending the C to the anacronym. Thus it is the area to south of Khunjerab that gives us the PEC.

There can be no ifs or buts about it, therefore. No country has the right to extend the lucrative CPEC invitation without first securing our specific permission. And if it turns out that this have we given — then shame on us and more. {He has a point}

Seen retrospectively through the prism of the BRICS statement, it now seems that the offer to change the CPEC name was a move calculated to add insult to further injury.

Now we should perhaps advert to understanding the whys and where fores of China’s sudden withdrawing of diplomatic support and in so public a manner.

According to Chinese whispers, Beijing is keen to keep India on side, especially following the recent Doklam confrontation. In addition, it may also be a strategic ploy aimed at assuaging the US, that is, until the Chinese have fully established their presence in Afghanistan. Yet despite the plausibility of one or all the above, I remain unconvinced. For me, China is simply announcing its suzerainty over us. The Chinese Ambassador’s statement was, I believe, intended to test the waters in this regard. And when we took it on the chin without the merest hint of a whisper — Beijing decided to set sail full steam ahead.

We have President Trump to thank for seeing the only other door of economic opportunity shut firmly in our face. Pakistan will very soon have to go hat-in-hand to the IMF. And if we manage to secure assistance, of one thing we can all be sure: the conditions will be extremely stringent, which we will have no option but to accept. Of course, the elite will remain safe in their collective cocoon. Not so the middle- and lower-income groups, who will find their backs well and truly broken.

So willingly have we taken this path that has only brought us to the economic brink, with the Chinese quietly yet persistently nudging us closer inch by inch. Their monopoly over us has now become irreversible. And Beijing has chosen to fire an economic shot over our burning bows of gold, thereby declaring their imperial rule over us.

I have said it before and so I say it again. The overt friendliness of the Chinese ought not to be mistaken for altruism. This is not to say that Beijing doesn’t have an enormous stake in our security. Yet it is to remind that it would have little or no qualms about seeing the Balkanisation of Pakistan — so long as this threatened not its precious economic corridor.

Now, over to you, Dear Reader: does CPEC represent the first or final nail in Pakistan’s
economic coffin?

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan - June 20, 2017

Clapistan is Sh*tt*ng BRICKS!

BRICS dropped bricks on Pakistan

By having resolved the Doklam issue with India, China’s regional policy has reflected a bias in favour of geo-economics rather than geo-politics

The recently concluded BRICS Summit hosted by Beijing turned out to be nightmare for Pakistani authorities who were already in a state of shock over the withdrawal of the Chinese and Indian forces from the much hyped Doklam zone. The latter marked not only strategic and diplomatic maturity on the behalf of both Chinese and Indian top leadership, it also paved the way for Indian Prime Minister Modi to attend the mentioned summit of these five emerging regional economies. The BRICS Summit Declaration dropped bricks on Pakistan for the latter, though not mentioned by name, was held responsible for hosting (banned) militant organisations such as Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Such organisations, believed to have been involved in terror attacks on the US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, had already received censure from the US and its allies only recently. The summit declaration not only confirmed what the Trump administration echoed but also highlighted the need to eradicate terrorism from the South Asian region with geographical proximity with both Russia and China.

The latter are on the same page on fighting terrorism on their territory and, to some extent, neighbourhood. The Russians, for instance, launched many a military operation to curb militancy in Chechnya. China, on its part, views the Central Asian militant organisations as a threat to its south-western region. In fact, one of the purposes of the proposed economic corridors, of which CPEC is one, is to help the underdeveloped regions such as Xinjiang develop socio-economically and, thus, shun violent means for negotiation with Beijing. In other words, it is not necessarily the Indian pressure that made the BRICS, in particular, and China, in general, mention Pakistan based militant elements. However, India, of course, would have pushed China and Russia to pursue such a policy (dis)course which, if seen holistically, befit their respect domestic policy on military threats from the non-state actors.

Our civil-military leadership ought to assume the Chinese post-BRICS declaration statement favouring Pakistan objectively, as they might serve only diplomatic purposes and mean little in concrete terms

Moreover, by having resolved Doklam issue with India, China’s regional policy has reflected bias in favor of geo-economics than geo-politics. In order to sustain and enhance its economic growth along with feeding its huge population, Beijing is not, and has never been, in the mood to enter into conflict or war with, for example, India or the US. Nor do the latter wish to waste resources in any unnecessary war with China. Rather, India wants to excel in, for example, manufacturing sector and export goods to China than to stay on as a recipient of cheap Chinese products. At the moment, the balance of trade is heavily in favour of China where the latter gets 80 billion US$ as compared with India’s share of around 8 billion US dollars.

Besides, China is projecting itself as an economic (and, to some extent, military) power to the world particular US, Japan and other rivals. From this logic, it is against China’s long term strategic interest to keep supporting Pakistan over terrorism related matters. In the United Nations, where the NATO countries, Japan, South Korea, India, Brazil, Germany, and, now, the US is likely to press for hard measures against individuals, groups and states believed to have been involved or supportive of terrorism, will it be feasible and rational for China, if not Russia, to offend all these countries, with whom it trades in billions, for the sake of Pakistan? That must be challenging question for Pakistani leadership, though the Chinese did provide us with their answer to it. We should stay mindful of these developments and never get carried away by emotions.

Last but not the least, our civil-military leadership ought to assume the Chinese statement favouring Pakistan post-BRICS Declaration objectively as they might serve only diplomatic purpose and mean little in concrete terms. Nevertheless, this is not to suggest China-Pakistan relationship is over or Pakistan should disengage with Beijing. Rather, our side must try to understand China as China understands itself. It is a tough task which requires skills, resources, will and, importantly, space for independent and critical research done conceptually and empirically. Unfortunately, we as a state and society failed to produce more than two China scholars in past 70 years and miserably failed to establish China focused think tank. The so-called China centres mushrooming these days are but shops to sell poorly research content in exchange for some RMB. By contrast, India is way ahead in this respect and is getting benefited. The end to Doklam standoff is just one example. It is time Pakistan’s foreign policy is shaped by its well-trained scholars than semi-educated televangelists and people with a fixed mindset. Until this happens, bricks will continue to fall on us from here and there.

Closure On Chinese Killed By Rebels

Bodies found in Mastung may be of Chinese couple: officials
QUETTA: Samples from two bodies found in a mountainous area of Mastung district on Thursday night have been sent to Islamabad for a DNA test to ascertain identity of the deceased.Official sources said that the bodies of the deceased, who seemed to have died two month ago, might be of the two Chinese nationals — a man and a woman — who were kidnapped in Quetta’s Jinnah Town on May 24. They said the bodies were in bad condition and beyond recognition. Levies personnel shifted the bodies to the civil hospital in Mastung, from where they were sent to the Combined Military Hospital in Quetta.A security official told Dawn that the bodies found in Mastung were in very bad condition, adding that “they were just skeletons”. He said shoes worn by the two were also found on the bodies. He said the DNA test was the only way to ascertain the identity of the victims.
According to sources, Chinese officials have been approached to get samples from relatives of the kidnapped man and woman for the DNA test.

Forty One Lawyers ( !) Bully One Female Asst Commissioner In Sargodha

41 Sargodha lawyers booked for locking female Assistant Commissioner
SARGODHA – Police have registered a case against 41 lawyers for misbehaving with a woman Assistant Commissioner (AC) in Punjab’s city, Sargodha.
As per media reports, anti-terrorism clauses have been included in the First Information Report (FIR), which names the former district bar general secretary and five other lawyers. The case was registered after lawyers quarreled with the assistant commissioner (AC) and locked her inside a courtroom for not giving a decision of their choice.
AC, Anum Ali remained locked in the room for some time. The police led by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Liaquat Chattha and Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP) city, Habibur Rahman Bugti reached the spot and unlocked the room later.
The lawyers also damaged furniture in the office. Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif had taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry into the matter to bring the culprits to justice. It proves once again - inspite of all the PR-giri and statutes on paper - that Pakistan is not ready to accept gender equality. It is in their DNA . And it goes back to The Book. Where it is specifically mentioned that the "evidence" of a woman is NOT equal to the "evidence" of a man

Unclear what specifically you are referring to.

It seems to me that this brigadier represents the segment of paki elite who, aside being normal pakis in the sense of enmity for India etc., also seriously desires such things as soverignty, some sort of economic stability etc.

All of which irrelevant matters for a kabila that is only masquerading as a state. Having been a brigadier, this guy might be expected to know this.

Yet he writes like he doesn't have a clue as to what the true nature of his country is. At the same time, every sitting armh chief in tsp runs the country exactly like it was no more or less than a kabila.

How come?

The BRICS declaration AND the India-China resolution of Doka La issue with India standing absolutely firm and China capitulating in the end after so much bravado all the while India smugly brushing aside the diatribe and venality, have, IMO, had a terrifying effect on TSP.

The Pakistani behaviour with the US for six decades has been along the same predictable lines. They demanded the US to practically cut-off their relationship with India. Any positivity between India-US caused them a lot of heartburn and suspicion. The paranoia that they have deliberately manufactured based on an imaginary 'insecurity paradigm' demanded an all-or-nothing relationship from the USA.

The Pakistanis are beginning to feel jittery now because they see an assertive India possibly re-shaping Chinese behaviour. That would be a death-knell for Pakistan because they have to have at least one big power on their side. Otherwise, they face a strategic dilemma.

Slowly, articles have started appearing questioning the Chinese intentions. Debates are taking place. The same thing happened in the late 50s and early 60s with respect to the US too. I wouldn't be surprised if these are 'planted' and orchestrated by the Establishment.

It would be interesting to see how the Chinese respond. We should then compare with the US diplomacy.

anupmisra Ji :

Jinnah had a "Shia Ritual" immediately after his death and then a "Sunni Ritual" at his Official Mausoleum :

Was Jinnah a Shia or a Sunni?
The court proceedings bear evidence of the last rites observed by Miss Jinnah immediately after her brother’s death. Witness Syed Anisul Hasnain, a Shia scholar, deposed that he had arranged the ghusl (last bath) of Jinnah on the instructions of Miss Jinnah. He led his namaz-e janaza (funeral prayer) in a room of the Governor General’s House at which such Shia luminaries as Yusuf Haroon, Hashim Raza and Aftab Hatim Alavi were present, while Liaquat Ali Khan, a Sunni, waited outside the room. After the Shia ritual, the body was handed over to the state, and Maulana Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, a breakaway alim of the Deobandi school of thought who supported Jinnah’s Pakistan Movement but had recently apostatised the Shias, led his janaza (funeral) according to the Sunni ritual at the ground where a grand mausoleum was later constructed. Other witnesses confirmed that after the demise of Miss Fatima Jinnah, clam and panja (two Shia symbols) were discovered at Mohatta Palace, her residence.

Plight Of The"Paki Disappeareds" :((

Whatever has happened to Zeenat?
In August 2015, Zeenat Shahzadi, a Pakistani journalist who had been following the alleged enforced disappearance of an Indian engineer, Hamid Ansari, went "missing" from Lahore.According to Zeenat's family, she had been receiving threatening phone calls asking her not to pursue the case before her alleged enforced disappearance. Two years later, her fate and whereabouts remain unknown. There are many other such cases. And many are, as we speak, being considered to be included in the "pipeline"
The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) has mentioned Zeenat's case in its latest report (released on August 30, 2017)titled - "No more 'missing persons': the criminalization of enforced disappearance in South Asia Pakistan !".
In Pakistan, enforced disappearances are largely reported in the North-Western region, where people accused of belonging to militant organizations or of involvement in terrorism-related activities are known to have "disappeared". The practice is also reported in large numbers in Balochistan, where there are ongoing movements for self-determination and greater provincial autonomy, as well as in Sindh, against people belonging to or perceived to be sympathetic with nationalist groups. The successful "pilot project"- of the Deep State - has recently been approved for the mega city of Karachi as well, where the MQM workers, have been "targeted" for action.! No such program is in existence in Pakjab, where there is no need to "teach a lesson" to the local populace
With the "disappearance" of a number ofbloggers and journalists earlier this year, the practice of enforced disappearance appears to be expanding - both in terms of geographical reach and also the categories of people being targeted. Correct. :D
The number of cases of enforced disappearance has recorded significant increases in the early 2000s, beginning with Pakistan's involvement in the US-led "war on terror" in late 2001.The practice has now become a national phenomenon. Defence of Human Rights, has reported that more than 5,000 cases of enforced disappearance have still not been resolved. The Voice of Baloch Missing Persons alleges 18,000 people have been forcibly disappeared from Balochistan alone since 2001.The officially constituted Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances, which has been granted a three-year extension on Friday, on the other hand, reports 1,256 cases of alleged enforced disappearance as of 31 July 2017. Explainable only by the "principles of Sialkoti Statistics and La-Whori Logic !
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, whichdocuments human rights violations in 60 selected districts in the country, has documented nearly 400 cases of enforced disappearance since 2014 from the 60 districts it monitors.
So far the Government has failed to bring perpetrators to account in even a single case involving enforced disappearance. Has the Govt "brought to book" all the plotters who were responsible for murdering BB.
On the contrary, it has enacted legislation that facilitates the perpetration of enforced disappearance - including by explicitly legalizing forms of secret, unacknowledged, and incommunicado detention - and giving immunity to those responsible. Enforced disappearance is not recognized as a distinct crime in Pakistan. Police register complaints of enforced disappearances against 'unknown persons' under section 346 of the Penal Code that relates to "wrongful confinement in secret", and prescribes a penalty of two years imprisonment. Families of "disappeared" people have also made habeas corpus petitions in the high courts and the Supreme Court under Article 199 and 184(3) of the Constitution respectively, requesting the courts to find out the whereabouts of their "missing" loved ones. Like "everything else" laws are there on the books, but "implementation" of same, is a "problem"
The 2011 Commission was initially established for six months but its mandate has since been extended a number of times, and the Commission remains in operation at the time of writing. Among other functions, the Commission has the mandate to "trace the whereabouts of allegedly enforced disappeared persons", "fix responsibility on individuals or organizations responsible", and "register or direct the registration of FIRs against named individuals…who were involved either directly or indirectly inthe disappearance of an untraced person." Despite the broad mandate, the Commission has failed to hold perpetrators of enforced disappearances criminally accountable.
For example, the Government constituted a "Task Force on Missing Persons" in 2013 to provide recommendations on how to deal with the prevalent practice. All of these "measures" are taken for "optics onlee" and for "world opinion". There is no real incentive to stop this inhuman practice. !
The Committee also urged that Pakistan should also ensure that "all allegations of enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killings are promptly and thoroughly investigated; all perpetrators are prosecutedand punished, with penalties commensurate with the gravity of the crimes. :((

According To This Anal-ist Ganja Sharif Has Also Tarnished The Political Brand Called "Muslim League"

Future of Nawaz Sharif
Political future of Nawaz Sharif is a question that keeps on perplexing every politically conscious person. Like every politician in our country, Nawaz Sharif wants to stay relevant in politics forever but his future will now largely depend on two things: one, how PML-N reacts to the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif and second how establishment through accountability courts behaves with him.
Muslim League was founded in 1906 to protect the interests of the upper middle classes of Muslims, ..... :((
Jinnah never went to jail in his long political career, never believed in the politics of agitation against a foreign oppressor, hardly knew and spoke the language of the people he represented and never tried to make All India Muslim League (AIML) a party of ordinary people. "Everybody" knows that . And his penchant for ham sandwiches !
After the creation of Pakistan and the demise of Jinnah, feudals dominating AIML could not reconcile their differences...
A new Muslim League (convention) was reincarnated by General Ayub in 1962 and since then every military dictator formed a new Muslim League for political legitimacy but most of these Muslim Leagues survived only until the presence of their founding dictator at the helm of power. The so-called "Basic Democracy" of Dictator Ayub !
PML-N has no ideology and is organised around only one principle; power. Retention of power and consolidating more power is the ultimate goal of electables of the ruling party. Therefore, by taking on the real source of power in Pakistan, nexus of establishment and judiciary, Nawaz Sharif erodes the very bases of PML- N.
At present, options are very limited for Nawaz Sharif as all the cards are in the hands of the other players in the game of Pakistani politics. He has been permanently disqualified and is under the threat of being sent to gaol for many years in NAB cases.Future of his political survival will depend on his decision to negotiate back some space for himself within the powerful establishment of Pakistan, chances of which look very few.Rise and fall of Nawaz Sharif has many lessons for the political parties of Pakistan and if they want to bring any fundamental and positive change in the society, they must quickly learn those lessons.

Indirect Defiance Towards Pakistan In the Wake Of BRICS Declaration On Terrorism. :D

China tightens restrictions on religious freedom
China has tightened regulations on religious freedom, intensifying punishments for unsanctioned activities and increasing its supervision of certain groups in a bid to “block extremism” and tackle what it sees as internal threats. The updated rules, released by China's cabinet the State Council on Thursday, come as the country ratchets up already stringent controls on Muslim and Christian populations and include a ban on religious organisations accepting foreign donations. Allowing people to "practice religion" is one thing. Misusing religion and encouraging extremism will not be tolerated in an (officially) atheistic country !
China says it is facing a growing threat from domestic cults and radical Islam but critics have accused Beijing of a broader pattern of harassment, detention and abuse.
On Wednesday, leaders from China's five officially recognised religions ─ Buddhism, Daoism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestant Christianity ─ agreed that “the direction of religions is to integrate them with Chinese culture”, the official Xinhua news agency reported. China cannot afford to officially "ban religion" if it wants to be recognized as a world power.
But an annual report from the US State Department released last month said that in 2016, China “physically abused, detained, arrested, tortured, sentenced to prison, or harassed adherents of both registered and unregistered religious groups”. The report noted arrests and harassment of church leaders in eastern Zhejiang province, who have opposed a government campaign to remove crosses from churches.China denied the violations noted in the report, which it said “ignores facts”. In China's far western Xinjiang region, the mostly Muslim Uighur population has struggled with increasingly strict curbs on their faith, including bans on beards and public prayers. And several Tibetan monks have died in self-immolation protests in recent months, according to rights groups.

Three Hazaras among four shot dead in Quetta
Four people, including three members of the Hazara community, were killed and two others were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Quetta's Kuchlak area on Sunday evening.
The members were "targeted" on their way from the Chaman border
Moments later, police officials and law enforcement agencies' personnel arrived at the site of the incident
The suspects sped away on their motorcycles after opening fire
Complicity of the local LEA?

Minhas Merchant Recapitulates The Tortured History Of Pakistan From A Theocracy First To A Failed State As Pakistan "Celebrates" It's 70 Birthday !

Pakistan At 70: How The Islamic Republic Turned Into A Failed State
By Minhaz Merchant
September 05, 2017 at 2:01 PM
Pakistan is imploding. The terrorists it bred to bleed India by a thousand cuts are bleeding Pakistan instead.
“Pakistan is pre-programmed to fail.” With those words, my father, an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, left a thin, gangling fellow-student, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, in a bad mood.
On the 70th anniversary of its founding, Pakistan is in fact imploding. The terrorists it bred to bleed India by a thousand cuts are bleeding Pakistan instead.
The Pakistani daily The Nation published a detailed account on 5 December 2015 of how Pakistan illegally occupied Balochistan, now the centrepiece of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC):
Like Balochistan today, Sindh too is in ferment. While lawless Karachi has been partially tamed by the Pakistani Rangers’ concerted action over the past two years, the movement for an independent Sindh remains strong.
Jinnah, like Bhutto, was a reluctant Muslim. A Gujarati Shia Khoja, he ate pork, drank Scotch and married a Parsi. Bhutto married an Iranian and at Berkeley had partied hard. Neither man would have fitted into the fundamentalist Islamic version of today’s Pakistan.
Until the 1960s, my cousins in Karachi and Lahore would triumphantly send me the latest American bestsellers, magazines and electronic gadgets. Pakistan had slid easily from being a British colony to an American colony.
The 1970s decisively changed the trajectories of both Pakistan and India. In 1971, Pakistan was split into two. The birth of Bangladesh, with the Indian Army taking over 90,000 Pakistani prisoners of war, was the first existential blow
In 1974, Bhutto, now Prime Minister, passed one of Pakistan’s most shameful laws declaring Ahmadiyyas heretics. Virtually overnight, the Ahmadiyya community became a non-Muslim minority in theocratic Pakistan.
When Bhutto was hanged by Pakistan’s jihadist president General Zia-ul-Haq in 1979, my father wasn’t surprised. He recalled what he’d told Bhutto 27 years earlier at Berkeley: as an Islamic theocracy, Pakistan is doomed.
Until 1979, Pakistan was leased to the West mostly for its strategic real estate. When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan that year, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) turned Pakistan into its outsourced jihadi factory to fight the Soviets.
The Soviet Union shortly collapsed but Pakistan was now a full-blown jihadi state. The Islamist terrorists funded and armed by the CIA and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) – the two intelligence agencies were and are close – now drifted towards a new theatre of jihad: Kashmir.
The jihadi seed planted in the 1970s would grow into poison ivy and within decades wrap itself around the Pakistani state.
After the 9/11 terror attacks in the United States.....Pakistan turned from a rentier state to a vassal state.
By the 1990s, India’s per capita income had overtaken Pakistan’s. Even as India, under prime minister Narasimha Rao and finance minister Manmohan Singh, liberalised the economy, ...
Pakistan is a failed state not just because it is a terrorism hub. It is a failed state because it has failed its citizens across economic and social parameters.
Pakistan society, meanwhile, has splintered into several disparate bits. The army, a giant financial corporation and terrorist organiser, is all-powerful. Nobody defies it.
The Dawn Leaks refers to a story broken by Dawn journalist Cyril Almedia of a confidential meeting on 6 October 2016, shortly after India’s cross-Line of Control (LoC) surgical strike, between Pakistan’s civilian and military leaders. During the meeting, the Nawaz Sharif government warned the army of Pakistan’s likely international isolation ...
The judiciary and civil society form the saner parts of Pakistan but many judges themselves are now radicalised
Pakistanis know they live in a failed state. They escape their reality by seeking refuge in Arab arms, pretending they have Arab or Central Asian ancestry. The truth of course is that most Pakistanis are former Hindus.
Like all newcomers to a faith, Pakistan’s Muslims try to ingratiate themselves with the original Muslims (Arabs).
Faced with a terror backlash that has consumed thousands of Pakistani lives, Islamabad has placed all its remaining eggs in China’s basket.
The $56-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is touted as Pakistan’s lifeline. There are three pitfalls in this theory: Balochistan, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit-Baltistan. Gwadar Port, where the CPEC begins, lies in insurgency-hit Balochistan.
Pakistan’s factory of jihad, aimed at India, has meanwhile reached over-capacity. Surplus production of terrorists inevitably targets the creator.
When my father told Bhutto in 1950 that Pakistan was pre-programmed to fail, he didn’t realise how precipitous that failure would be. Bhutto himself fell victim to Pakistan’s lawless theocracy 29 years later when he was hanged by General Zia in 1979. His daughter Benazir – who created the Taliban that today ravages Afghanistan and has turned the brave Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand line implacably hostile to Pakistan’s Punjabi-led army – fell to an assassin 30 years later. A nation born by the sword will, in the end, be impaled by it.

^I hope to see in my lifetime complete breakup of Bakistan. There will be a free flow of Bakistanis to Barbaria and create a new ummah called Bakistan-e-Barbaria. The rest of the ummah will join the cleansing process and to collectively evolve who will be the guardians of makka and madina.

The analysis of doklam crises by the bakistanis is interesting when they term it like this:
nightmare for Pakistani authorities who were already in a state of shock over the withdrawal of the Chinese and Indian forces from the much hyped Doklam zone. The latter marked not only strategic and diplomatic maturity on the behalf of both Chinese and Indian top leadership, it also paved the way for Indian Prime Minister Modi to attend the mentioned summit of these five emerging regional economies.
It definitely was a shock to the bakistanis to see Chinese and Indian top leadership showed "strategic and diplomatic maturity"., what did they expect? A strategic nookular war? Where their wet dreams come true? Of course since it did not., doklam is a crises for them.

Here is what happening by 2025:

1. Barbaria will not have petro-dollars and will try to wean away bakistanis from their teats.
2. Chinese OBOR is going nowhere., and neither chinese economy can sustain a CPEC boondoggle at negative returns. Nothing will come the bakistanis way.
3. Umrika is already trying to extract its end of bargain.

That leaves the only super-powah in the neighborhood. Roos.

Bakistanis will try to latch on Roos to get their joos and sustain the kabila. BTW., it does not take too much to sustain the kabila., the kabila needs arms to oppress its own "citizens" and keep them opium-anated enough so that they do not turn on the kabila.

Commit A Crime In Scotland, Escape To Pakistan !

TV Doc on White Schoolboy Murdered By Racist Pakistanis Airs Day After ‘All Whites Benefit from Racism’ BBC Rant
Scottish Television has aired a programme about the racist murder of white schoolboy Kriss Donald — a day after a black transgender model ranted “all white people benefit from racism” on the BBC.
The Science of Murder episode ‘Killers on the Run’, which aired on Channel 3, recounted the case of Kriss Donald, a 15-year-old white schoolboy whose brutal killing at the hands of a Pakistani gang led to Scotland’s first ever racially-motivated murder trial.
Just one day previously, black transgender model Munroe Bergdorf had ranted that “all white people benefit from racism [through] white privilege” on the Victoria Derbyshire programme — a platform given to her by the BBC after L’Oreal Paris UK sacked her for declaring “[the white] race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth”.
Kriss was set upon and dragged into a car in March 2004 by Imran ‘Baldy’ Shahid, Daanish Zahid, Zeeshan Shahid, Mohammed Faisal Mustaq and Zahid Mohammed, who targeted him because he was white. 100% Paki stock - going by their Pakjabi names !
The gang drove the teenager around for hours trying to find a place to torture him. They eventually brought him to woodland near Celtic football club’s training grounds, held him down over a pile of logs, and stabbed him thirteen times, before drenching him in petrol and setting him on fire. Kriss was still alive when this was done, and he dragged himself some distance towards the nearby River Clyde before succumbing to his very extensive injuries.
Ringleader Imran Shahid was ultimately identified using DNA from the lining of a leather jacket he attempted to burn in the abduction vehicle, but was not brought to justice for over a year, having fled to Pakistan with two of his accomplices.
Pakistan has become a "destination of choice" for those Pakis who commit all kind of crime ( white collar as well as "regular" ) and want to flee justice. The names of such culprits are too many. The parents are probably facilitators !
Mainstream media — particularly the BBC — was criticised for offering little more than fleeting coverage of the case, despite its exceptional and ultra-violent nature.

As A Last Desperate Attempt To Flee To Pakistan Imran Awan Leaves Incriminating Documents And Lap Top For Police To Find In Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Office !

Report: Imran Awan May Have Left Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Laptop for Police to Find
The Daily Caller reports Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s indicted former IT staffer Imran Awan may have planted her laptop for police to easily find, along with a letter to the U.S. Attorney. The Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak reports, “U.S. Capitol Police found the laptop after midnight April 6, 2017, in a tiny room that formerly served as a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building.”. How "more Paki" can you get after doing this
“Alongside the laptop were a Pakistani ID card, copies of Awan’s driver’s license and congressional ID badge, and letters to the U.S. attorney. Police also found notes in a composition notebook marked ‘attorney-client privilege,'” Rosiak explained. “The laptop had the username ‘RepDWS,’ even though the Florida Democrat and former Democratic National Committee chairman previously said it was Awan’s computer and that she had never even seen it.”
On 4/6/2017 at 0021 hours, with the building closed to the public, AOC informed USCP Rayburn offices of an unattended bag in the phone booth on the 2nd floor. The officer received the open-contents visible bag and prepared a found property report. While reviewing the inventory of the bag contents, the officer found
#1 a Pakistani ID card with the name Mohommed Ashraf Awan
#2 a copy – not original – of a drivers license with name Imran Awan
#3 a copy (front and back) of his congressional ID
#4 an Apple laptop with the homescreen initials ‘RepDWS’
#5 composition notebooks with notes handwritten saying ‘attorney client privilege’ and possibly discussing case details below
#6 loose letters addressed to US Attorney of DC discussing the apparent owner of the bag being investigated.
Awan, who worked as Wasserman Schultz’s IT vendor and served top congressional Democrats, was arrested in July while trying to flee the United States. His wife and children were however "allowed" to escape to Pakistan from DC airport
Despite declaring bankruptcy in 2012, Awan wired $283,000 ahead to two people in Faisalabad, Pakistan, before making his break.
“Imran Awan is a calculating person who made great efforts to cover his tracks, both electronically and physically,” Rep. Louie Gohmert told The Daily Caller. “Placing that laptop with his personal documents, which may well incriminate him, those he worked for, or both, in the dead of night in a House office building, was a deliberate act by a cunning suspect, and it needs to be investigated.” As reported elsewhere, as part of a plea bargain, said Paki would be allowed to go "scott free" as part of a deal between the US Prosecutor and his Defense Attorney !

This building called Awami Markaz in slummabad which recently "burned down" is bigger than we are all led to initially believe. Watch this space.

Awami Markaz Fire:
Tax Ombudsman’s office record completely burnt
housed several private and government offices, including a key research unit of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) named CPEC Center of Excellence.
We informed the CDA at 7am but no one listened to us; it’s a culpable negligence. The fire would have been brought under control if officials concerned had taken our request seriously
He said the residents of Gulshan-e-Jinnah Colony reported the incident to the CDA and NDMA at around 9am but only CDA fire extinguishers reached the spot by 11am.
The record placed in the ombudsman’s office was completely destroyed.
A part of the Privatization Commission’s record was also burnt, but a senior official claimed that he had shifted all the files at around 8am after files at around 8am after they came to know about the fire.
Reports said almost all files were destroyed at the CPEC Center of Excellence. However, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said the entire record was intact quoting the Planning, Development & Reforms Division as saying. "There is a small research unit record of which is in digital mode & is safe"
