We don't need to worry about that.

Most 2nd/3rd generation Indian Americans today are the offspring of Indians who moved to the USA in the 1960s/70s. The vast majority of those Indians were highly educated, extremely Nehruvianized, and still carrying bad hangovers from the (recent) British colonial experience. So they never raised their children with more than "holiday Hinduism" (if that), and never gave them the intellectual or emotional tools to resist being overwhelmed by white liberal value systems. That's why you have so many of the 2nd/3rd gen manifesting as social justice woke-iyas today.

Indians who moved in the 1990s-2000s were already better equipped than their predecessors to preserve & sustain their identities. True, some (like Sundar Pichai) went woke out of sheer greed & desperation for acceptance by their Coastal Elite peers. But equally so, many of us BRF veterans are US residents from the same generation. So you can already see the difference in attitudes.

Indians who came of age post 2014 are a quantum leap ahead of that in terms of being grounded in Hindu civilizational identity . I hope they manage to emigrate in large enough numbers that they... and not the 2nd/3rd-generation Nehruvians... come to define what it means to be a citizen of Indian extraction in their adopted countries.

The middle class (families with incomes between $100K-$200K) in the US are being decimated. What will be left are the well to do, wealthy and elites followed by a heavily armed violent under class. Social structures and safety nets are breaking down very quickly. There is a real danger (physically, socially and spiritually) to people emigrating to the US.

What's happening is not an accident. It is deliberate action by the political parties. In order to cement their political base.

They want a return to serfdom and slavery.

The US always had the ability to reinvent and regenerate itself. But the social divisions and are making it extremely difficult.

US 'liberal" MSM, the execrable Rachel Maddow, doing a "why is putin more evil than Hilter" exercise -- Pravda during communism was not as effective, when it comes to propaganda. Propaganda that targets local citizens to support actions they otherwise would not, if they were fully informed. But as we all know, fully informing citizen of the USA is equivalent to supporting Putin and a crime punishable by life in prison, as Julian Assange found out.

The US has no impartial press and is a flawed democracy that has flawed elections.

People like Rachel Madcow are part of US state media, known as MSDNC, when Democrats are in power. Fox News is US state media when Republicans are in power. Mylapore Mami's press secretary Symone Sanders has joined MSDNC. Jen Psaki, Xiden's press secretary, is negotiating a contract with MSDNC or CNN. Trump's press secretary Kayleigh McEnany immediately joined Fox News after leaving office. All of these scoundrels need to be banned from joining a press/media organization or social media company for at least 5 years after leaving office. It also important how these people are enriching themselves. They may make a good point on occasion, but remember that Rachel Madcow and Tucker Carlson are professional friends where they don't have any animosity because this is just business and not journalism. Jeff Zucker, former head of CNN, produced Trump's reality TV show "The Apprentice" and was responsible for him getting ratings boost on CNN. At the same time Zucker promoted his TV new personality Chris Cuomo being the younger brother of NY governor Andrew Cuomo.

Indian politicians can only dream of such high level government and corporate corruption. The US takes corruption to a more advanced level.

The Hunter Biden laptop story is accepted as real by NYT.

The political curuption of Indian political figures and family is nothing in comparison to the story.

Especially when the news organization which initially published the story was banned by social media platforms from re tweeting and linking the story.

The way the MSM circled wagons arround Biden.

I have a feeling that Biden family and it's curuption is the reason why Ukraine is getting sacrificed to Russia.

twitter, other media, and facebook, have illegally interfered in a constitutionally guaranteed right of the amerikis to free and fair elections.

They are criminally complicit in helping one party to steal the election by putting their collective thumbs on the scales by actively rigging the news.

does anyone remember brexit where almost exactly the same thing happened with facebook playing such a leading part by allowing cambridge analytica the use of its user data base

Trump was right when he said that the elections were stolen from him

leading one to the very obvious kweschun: why was the ameriki deep state so very keen to prise the UK out of the EU

why did they shoehorn the useless duo of biden mama and mylapore maami in to the office of the potus and vpotus...a main man and back up

no one goes to all this trouble without a well laid out plan

where exactly do putin and xi figure in all this

@Chellaney:

After calling Putin a “war criminal,” “a murderous dictator" and "a pure thug," Biden calls him "a butcher," underscoring that the US is seeking regime change in Moscow. Biden actually began his demonization of Putin soon after entering the White House by calling him “a killer.”

By contrast, Biden has treated Xi with respect. Despite Xi's Covid coverup, Asian expansionism, and Muslim gulag—the largest mass incarceration of people on religious grounds since Hitler—President Biden has not hurled any personal insult at him, nor imposed meaningful sanctions.

This is a myth. The largest mass incarceration was committed by the Brits during their Brit Raj in India. The brunt of the killings happened to be Hindus at the receiving end. The British DELIBERATE famines, point blank shooting at protestors opposing them, starvation and migration like cattle to other shores caused 80-90 million deaths. That does not include the 350,000 Indian soldiers who died in World Wars 1 and 2. There are So many fairy tales spun by the Brits about their rule in India, every one of their historical accounting is patently false and rubbish.

Trump was right when he said that the elections were stolen from him
Yes indeed. Moreover China bought its way with the Dumbocrats during the election process. No wonder Xiden (a most appropriate term) is quiet about China; china managed to show the finger in the Ukr-Rus tussle and they would buy oil at a discount from Rus ignoring the barkings from the US Deep State, Xiden will give lectures, but China knows that it is for public MSM consumption and has no meaning since he was bought of. No wonder now Xiden is clamoring for Putin's head.

India has to re-evaluate the QUAD and its purpose. What is the point in cosying upto a big guy and opposing another big guy, when over the Usual Drinks, Cigar and Women they talk trash behind you, Xiden to Xi, "Hey we have this poor sucker who thinks he can help. Poor chap, he does not know that squabbles and public brawls are all for show and good bantering. We are milking the sucker, he sends his talent to our shores and we make a fat buck".

Ah did not see this. Bhai Sahab, just the Bengal famine in 1943 caused 5.2 million deaths whitewashed by Amartya Sen. There were more deaths of Indians during the reign of Hitler (1933 - 1945). Now there is the whole story of miscount of actual number of people who died due to the Nazis. General Patton (who knew the truth) was mysteriously killed by American Army truck! Certainly the Indian deaths far exceed those that were published due to WW2. This is the real tragedy because India did not have its own MSM to publicize wanton destruction by the British Raj. I am not counting the 2.43 lakh soldiers who were used as cannon fodder in WW2 by the British. BTW what reparations are the Brits going to pay for this crime?

What all these analysts aren't speaking about is the huge military budget of the US - about 800 billion dollars a year, increasing about 4-5% per year. Isn't this US' habitual formula for regaining its supposed loss of hegemony?

The colossal budget feeds its MIC - a monster with ever increasing appetite, and I wonder if we aren't referring to the same thing when we say American Deep State. This gigantic web of military equipment manufacturers, suppliers, contractors etc has a life of its own, and in the absence of strife and conflict somewhere in the world that generates demand for its wares, it could turn upon its domestic "masters" and consume them.

Thats a genie American polity can no longer put back in the bottle and finds itself compelled to take out for a walk now and then, to let it relieve itself elsewhere on the planet. Like in Ukraine at the moment. Its not just the military wares consumed in the conflict itself, but the platform it offers to showcase the latest and greatest, the risk perception in heightens among nearby nations, and far beyond. And of course the need it stokes to get such shiny wares before someone else does, to maintain the "edge" in this edgy world, which can't have enough of those jagged pills.

Democracy, rules based order, agreements, accords, treaties, trade pacts, markets, freedom of press yada yada are all simply pretences to keep this system going...

In 2020, both the US congress and the Trump administration agreed to this and it continued into May 2021. At least $170 billion in fraud.

Daleep Singh has done considerable damage to India-US relations, even Victoria Nuland who is a principle player in global regime change operations didn't come out and say as much.

The Xiden administration is undoing not just the Trump administration's work, but undoing all of the Obama administration's work too. It's time for regime change in the US. Xiden and Harris must resign this January and let Trump become speaker of the House and assume the presidency again. Xiden has received at least 10% of the $4.8 million that his son Hunter received from PLA. The actual monies collected by Hunter Biden from Russia, China and Ukraine are slowly coming to light.

In 2020 when this was launched, the goal was to get the cash into consumers hands ASAP to prevent a catastrophic economic collapse like the world has not seen. Putting it in bureaucrats hands asking for information in duplicates and triplicates would have slowed the process and caused a much much larger pain than this fraud. It was one of the very sensible decisions from Trump to get this implemented ASAP and let law catch up with fraudsters.

After the 2008/09 economic crisis, the Obama administration reduced the OASDI taxes in people's paychecks. The Trump administration sought the same relief, but it was rejected by the Wicked Witch of the West - Nancy Piglosi. Trump advocated dropping this 6.2% payroll tax until the end of 2020. Many more people would have benefitted, particularly the lower and middle class.

During Obama OASDI was reduced in lieu of increased corp taxes and that worked. With Drumpf, he wanted no alternate funding but more expenses and no wonder it was rejected. This guy was nuts with economic consequences.

Again, with the corporate tax down, payroll tax is one of the revenue streams for federal government. Even with Payroll tax benefits, with no jobs if the economy crashed would had been zero benefits to employees/workers. Makes zero sense.

More myth as corporate taxes were normalized for developed economies. Federal government revenue between FY2017 to FY2021:
https://datalab.usaspending.gov/america ... e/revenue/. (this is just for FY21, but you can find the other years)

FY 2021 $4.05 trillion
FY 2020 $3.42 trillion
FY 2019 $3.46 trillion
FY 2018 $3.33 trillion
FY 2017 $3.32 trillion

Payroll taxes for OASDI is the 6.2% that covers Social Security, it doesn't mean ALL payroll taxes including Medicare taxes. Dropping the 6.2% until the end of the year was sound judgement. The theft of what is most likely $250 billion in fraud, where most of which will not be recovered, and add additional burden to the Treasury Dept. to prosecute these cases.

No. This is planned. She is going to MSDNC (State controlled media) to press for her party’s election in November 2022. As everything is unraveling on the Democratic Party with the US in the economic, political and social decline, this election will be referendum on the Xiden administration.

Sir, I believe India will brush aside the rants of a junior administration official seeing it for it is -
  • need to play good cop bad cop
  • need to pass a public message for display
  • plausible deniability (bachcha hai, too junior etc)
It is nudge nudge wink wink at this point and the sanctions regime is getting weaker.
  • US has excluded uranium imports from Russia
  • US has excluded specific businesses of Russian "oligarchs"
  • Germany continues with its imports, they have increased it
  • Japan continuing with Sakhalin 2
  • China is merrily trading
  • Turkey has refused straight off, it wants the mediator status

I do not understand what the myth here is. From 2017 to 2020, your own source shows that the revenue was almost stagnant and when adjusted to inflation it actually went down. This is precisely what I said as well.

Also look at the source below for US Corp Income collections from 2009 to 2020.

https://taxfoundation.org/historical-co ... -brackets/

Payroll taxes for OASDI is the 6.2% that covers Social Security, it doesn't mean ALL payroll taxes including Medicare taxes. Dropping the 6.2% until the end of the year was sound judgement.

But they did one better by giving stimulus to everybody which staved off recession in the short term, which is what they set out to do that. I does not make any sense to give stimulus and also reduce the 6.2%.
The theft of what is most likely $250 billion in fraud, where most of which will not be recovered, and add additional burden to the Treasury Dept. to prosecute these cases.
True, but putting more roadblock to prevent fraud would made had made the economy certainly go into recession. Now, all they need to worry about is $250B rather than $4T in revenue.

No. We're talking about OASDI taxes being exempt from March 2020 to December 2020 which is what the Trump administration was advocating. OASDI collection in FY2020 (Oct. 2019 to Sep. 2020) was $1.05T. Total payroll tax collection in FY2020 was $1.34T. Although the period of Mar. to Dec. spans across two FYs, an exemption of OASDI in this period would have been about $750B. The PPP implemented from Mar. 2020 to May 2021 was over $800B with $250B in fraud and there is enough evidence many companies instituted stock buybacks and executive dividends. The PPP largely turned out to be corporate handouts and fraud leading to inflation, with many holding companies buying residential properties across suburbs in the US.

The $250B in fraud is indeed the biggest theft of a generation.

Mort ji, this would never had worked as this would stymie the Social Security program which was all ready running in the negative. This would have caused the fund to stop disbursing social security payments and when that happens even the hardline "ALL LIVES MATTER/MAGA" crowd would have distanced themselves from whoever voted for this. Per my recollections, even many Republican senators were against it.

This would have caused the fund to stop disbursing social security payments and when that happens even the hardline "ALL LIVES MATTER/MAGA" crowd would have distanced themselves from whoever voted for this. Per my recollections, even many Republican senators were against it.
Wrong again.

See the info-graphic from CBO:

https://www.cbo.gov/publication/57173
FY2020 OASDI Revenue: $965B

https://www.cbo.gov/publication/57171
FY2020 OASDI Outlay: $1090B
FY2020 PPP Outlay: $526B

If OASDI was dropped from Mar-Dec 2020, revenue loss would have been $500B for FY2020 and $250B for FY2021. The PPP outlay could have been cut in half or less. The revenue loss for FY2020 would have been $250B (roughly equivalent to what has been PPP fraud). Yet, PPP failed to achieve what was needed and has added to inflation. When the federal government collects revenue, even without the pandemic, the collection of OASDI still goes to the treasury as it has been running a deficit for several years. From CBO estimates OASDI becomes insolvent 2032-2034 where it will pay 70 cents to the dollar; and not in FY2020-FY2025, therefore your argument of stopping social security checks doesn't hold water. Like every other budget obligation, OASDI will be some sort of deficit spending euphemistically referred to by some economic phrase, which is just printing money. The question is - will the current train wreck of the Xiden administration derail the US before that time?

Speaking of stopping Social Security checks to the elderly: Janet Yellen threatened to do just that in Sep. 2021 if a budget was not passed. Given this is a mandatory obligation of the US federal government, what she said was completely illegal. Had Trump said something irresponsible like that, the media would have convulsions on top of everything else and would have been threatened with another impeachment.

I stand by my statement that PPP has been the biggest fraud in the world of corrupt US politicians and corporations.

I don't mind being wrong and getting corrected but where am I in the wrong here? I said cutting SSTAX is not feasible because it is already in the deficit and your math is also showing exactly that. This would not have been possible because

* it's already in the red and cutting the funding by b$250 more would have collapsed SS safety net when the pandemic is raging

* Without jobs, there is no cutting SSTAX from payroll, so this would had been an useless cut

*Goal was to avoid recession. Curbing future inflation, and fraud was secondary

PPP was not a failure. It was a spectacular success in that it staved off a recession and put so much money in peoples pockets that now the market is overheating and supply chain is not able to catch up with the demand, which was a secondary issue when PPP was launched

Because OASDI become insolvent in 15 years, lets gut it now argument will also not hold water. I'll bet my money that programs like OASDI(Social Security benefits) will remain far longer than that in another form with alternate funding. Again, if Drumpf was stupid enough to derail funding for OASDI during the pandemic he would have lost by much larger margins, no doubt about it.

These are the same "money printing" social programs that have elevated US. Once these are cut, US will start going down and combined with the predatory economic system that incentivizes "raid and loot" corporate policies will hasten the demise.

I'm a bit more of an optimist than you. Record low unemployment, record high wages is where I focus and future looks good. All republicans are interested in are waging cultural battles and woe is me victimhood complex. It will get them the votes, but will be a much much bleaker future with book bans, abortion bans, prayers and pledges in schools/govt offices, defunding science and tech in favor of low taxes, raiding the grand natural parks of the country, selling and walling of assets to corporations.

Yellen perfectly laid out what would happen if the debt ceiling was not raised by congress. This is a bureaucrat telling the politicians the consequences of their actions. Nothing wrong in it and prior secretaries have said that also.
