boomers? Do read my post a little bit more carefully! I was alluding to the fact that trump received majority of votes in groups above 50 years and over.
WRT Covid19, The fatality rate from all accounts is 2-3% unless you have better sources.

In his opening remarks at the March 3 media briefing on Covid-19, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated:
“Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.” 
The number in Italy so far it is far higher - around 6%
