Paki Chief Justice Cracking His Whip Too Hard

CJP bars 'habitual petitioner' from entering Supreme Court premises
Irked by yet another petition from Shahid Orakzai, the most persistent litigant in the capital city, Chief Justice (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday barred him from entering the Supreme Court (SC) premises, saying that the "era of false petitions is now over".
Orakzai, a former journalist, had appeared in the SC today to contest an appeal filed by him against the appointment of former Lahore High Court chief justice Mansoor Ali Shah to the SC, but was unable to move Justice Nisar, who told him to get off the rostrum. "You are a habitual petitioner who insults judges," the CJP declared. "We will not allow judges to be insulted." The CJP has been in the news quite a bit , trying to assert his authority !
Admonishing Orakzai for appearing in court with "false petitions", Justice Nisar remarked that he "brought in a new case every day." Answering a query by Orakzai, Justice Nisar said he was banned from all SC registries. "In which country?" Orakzai inquired. "In Pakistan, and if you don't get off that rostrum now, I will take a more extreme measure," the CJP warned, visibly angry. As chief justice of Pakistan, Justice Nisar has the authority to bar a person from entering court premises. I bet he knows his limits !
Separately, Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Ashtar Ausaf Ali told the SC that he had to visit London's Crown Court for an international arbitration case. However, the CJP stopped him from leaving citing a number of pending cases in the SC. "You cannot abandon all the cases that are pending and leave for the UK," the CJP declared.

Army 'hammering and bleeding' Pak forces along LoC: Government sources

“The Army, with all its commanding officers along the LoC being given adequate freedom of action, is hammering and bleeding the Pak army to deny it any tactical advantage or moral ascendancy along the border,” said a source.

The targeted military pressure being exerted on the Pak army along the LoC has forced it to sound 35 “red-alerts” for its border troops, even as its 10 Corps commander Lt-Gen Nadeem Raza has visited a dozen border sectors since January, said the sources.

Several Pak army posts have been destroyed in the fire assaults, with light field guns, heavy 120mm mortars and anti-tank guided missiles also coming into regular play from both sides, in areas like Balnoi, Mendhar, Kalal, Keran, Doda, Sarla, Laleali and Banwat along the 778-km LoC over the last four to five months.

All this comes in the backdrop of the escalating rhetoric between India and Pakistan, with the two defence ministers warning each other’s country of deadly retribution, as well as the scathing criticism against the Modi government by Congress and other political parties for failing to deliver on all its tough talk against Pakistan.

The terror attack on the Sunjuwan Army camp in Jammu, which left six soldiers and a civilian dead last week, has further ratcheted up tensions between the two countries. India has already lost 16 soldiers, apart from BSF personnel and civilians, in over 280 ceasefire-fire violations (CFVs) and terror incidents in J&K this year.

But both Army chief General Bipin Rawat and Northern Command chief Lt-Gen Devraj Anbu have stressed that the Pak Army “is suffering three to four times more casualties” in the heavy exchange of cross-border firings.

If India lost 32 soldiers in CFVs, infiltration and other incidents along the LoC in 2017 (another 30 laid down their lives in counter-terrorism operations in the hinterland), sources said it’s estimated that 130-140 Pakistan soldiers were killed in the same year based on “radio intercepts, intelligence inputs and other information collated from different sources”.

But politics and estimates apart, the fact remains there has been no let up on the terror tap from across the border throughout the winter also this time. The assessment is there are around 400 terrorists in and around “launch pads” along the LoC, both south and north of the Pir Panjal range, looking for an opportune time to sneak into J&K.

Even as the Indian security forces brace for “a hot summer” in the hinterland, there are no indications that the war of attrition along the LoC, with “caliber escalation of weapons” becoming the norm, will ebb in the coming months.

The sharp spike in the cross-border hostilities, which saw as many as 860 CFVs along the LoC and another 120 along the international border last year, began after Indian Para-Special Forces conducted the “surgical strikes” against terror launch pads in four different locations in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir to avenge the killing of 19 Indian soldiers in a suicide attack at the Army camp in Uri in September 2016.

Foreign Office laments creation of 'war hysteria' by Indian media

The Foreign Office (FO) has lamented the deliberate creation of ‘war hysteria’ by the Indian media following a militant attack on an Indian military camp in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), according to a press release issued by the FO in Islamabad.

Pakistan has also strongly rejected allegations of certain Indian police and defence officials, as well as media groups, in connection with the reported attack on Sunjwan camp in IoK.

“In a well established pattern, Indian occupation forces launch false flag operations, while Indian officials begin making irresponsible statements and leveling unfounded allegations, even before any proper investigation in any incident has been initiated,” the press release quotes FO spokesperson Muhammad Faisal as saying.

The FO said that a particular segment of the Indian media was running stories with a clear intention to malign Pakistan and whip up public frenzy.

“We are confident that the world community would take due cognisance of India’s smear campaign against Pakistan and the deliberate creation of war hysteria,” Faisal remarked.

According to the Foreign Office, these tactics are also aimed at diverting attention from the India state terrorism in IoK.

“The brutalisation of peaceful, unarmed Kashmiris through harassment, incarceration, disappearances, torture, extra-judicial killings, sham trials and summary executions is well documented internationally,” Faisal stated.

“The valiant people of IoK, however, remain resilient in the face of all these hardships, as they pursue their legitimate right to self-determination.”

The FO also declared that Pakistan was fully committed and capable of defending itself against any act of aggression.

“We expect the international community to take cognisance of the belligerent and repeated Indian statements against Pakistan, which are not only against international law but also threatens regional peace and security,” the FO spokesperson noted.

FO spokesperson Muhammad Faisal expressed deep sadness at the tragic crash of a Russian passenger aircraft, resulting in the loss of seventy-one lives.

“We convey our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. The people and the government of Pakistan share the pain of the people and the government of the Russian Federation and stand by them in this hour of grief,” Faisal said.

Commenting on the political crisis in the Maldives, Faisal clarified the position of Pakistan.

“Pakistan does not support any move by foreign states to interfere in the internal affairs of the Maldives and influence its upcoming elections. As enshrined in the UN Charter, non-interference in the domestic affairs of other countries has always been the key principle of our foreign policy,” Faisal informed reporters.

The FO spokesperson said Pakistan expected that other countries would also adhere to this principle of the UN Charter, in view of ongoing political situation in Maldives.

“We believe that the internal affairs of Maldives should be resolved internally in consultation with all the stakeholders. The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Maldives should be respected by all.”

Shocking If True !

Senator Claims There are No Child Psychiatrists in Govt Hospitals.
Not a single child psychiatrist is available in government hospitals: Senator Tahir Hussain Mashhadi. Senator Tahir Hussain has raised concerns about the complete absence of a child psychiatrist in Pakistani government hospitals. You are talking about the First Islami Atomi Power. And a nation of 300+ Millions of Bhookae Nangae Aam Abduls and Ayeshas
Tahir Hussain Mashhadi from MQM, raised the issue when federal minister announced a new psychiatrist department in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). This separate psychiatrist department at PIMS Islamabad will be built at a total cost of around Rs 7 billion. Upon the concerns raised by MQM senator, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division, did admit that there are no child psychiatrists currently present in any government hospital. Time for the Minister to invite UK, USA, Canada , Germany, China,Saudi Arabia and Norway Ambassadors for a "friendly live discussion" on Paki TV and discretely broach the lack of these specialists and ask for their "help" in solving this urgent problem
The minister didn’t say anything on whether any new child psychiatrist will be hired or not. He did, however, mention that there are psychiatrists available in four hospitals in the federal capital apart from NIRM Islamabad. Non-availability of child psychiatrists in government hospitals shows how much the authorities are really concerned about children with mental health issues. :(( With the scorched earth policies being practiced by the Paki Fauj in FATA, the said problem is more going to increase rather than decrease !

Add Another Paki Journo To The "Disappeared And/ Or Missing List

Journalist working for Sindhi daily whisked away from Badin
A senior journalist working for a Sindhi-language newspaper was whisked away by men in plain clothes and police uniforms in Sindh's Badin district, it emerged on Thursday. Rafaqat Ali Jarwar, who is associated with Daily Koshish, was taken away from a shop in Badin's Tando Bago town on Tuesday by men in civvies and police uniform who arrived in two vehicles.
Nasrullah Jarwar, the elder brother of the journalist while talking to Dawn said that local police officials were tight-lipped on the issue. He said both he and his brother had quit the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) — a consortium of Sindhi nationalist and some separatist groups — a long time ago and joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional. A "new" political animal
Nasrullah claimed that the life of his brother was in great danger and demanded his early release. When contacted, SSP Badin Abdul Qayyum Pitafi said no police team from the district had picked up Rafaqat. The local journalist community strongly reacted over Rafaqat's alleged disappearance and demanded his release.

With "Capetown Crisis", Paki Professor Sounds Water Alarm For Pakiland !

Day Zero
CAPE TOWN is experiencing its worst drought in a century and, consequently, an unprecedented water crisis. Despite severe water rationing, the city is inching towards ‘Day Zero’ ie when the city’s authorities will cut the running water supply to all but essential services. :((
Water scarcity can hit any region, including Pakistani cities, given the precarious climate change regime. One needs to become ‘water wise’ to ward off risks associated with any such scenario. Instead of "preaching to the Aam Abduls", he should direct his message to the Paki Establishment , which is falsely accusing India of "stealing" its water under the Indus Water Treaty , when the truth is the water flowing into Pakistan is wasted left and right ![/quote
While most major urban settlements here are aligned along the Indus or other rivers, the risks of a climate change-induced water shortage can affect us any time. It is frightening to consider that if such a water crisis were to hit our cities, there would be serious repercussions due to our unpreparedness, lack of planning and communication disconnect between the water supply utilities and consumers. Besides, in many locations the water supply status is already stressed. Such a crisis could severely exacerbate existing issues if not addressed scientifically. :((
In Karachi, more than 10 per cent of the city’s water supply is consumed in washing vehicles. Estimates show that about 60 gallons are spent in a normal car wash. With exponentially rising numbers of vehicles, this quantity will increase and cause greater pressure on existing resources.
Similarly, with over 200,000 mosques in Karachi, a sizable amount of water is utilised during ablutions in each establishment. Experiments have shown that, after very basic treatment, this water can be directly used for gardening and horticulture support purposes. Does he want the Mullahs to label him Anti- Islam
There is also much potential for smart approaches to store and reuse rainwater during monsoons and other rain spells. This can even be achieved at the single dwelling unit level. With a slight alteration in roof design and adjustment in house plumbing, substantial water quantities can be stored and used for various non-drinking uses by the households. The "Professor" needs to be reminded that he is talking of unwashed, uneducated Abduls and Ayeshas , who do not have access to basic education !
There is a huge need to bring about attitudinal change regarding our relationship with water. We need to devise strategies to sensitise all categories of water users about methods of its conservation and careful usage. From semi-literate domestic help workers to chief executives in the corporate sector, each one needs to be informed about how to use water prudently. The Supreme Court’s recent verdicts in related cases have also directed concerned government departments to initiate water education on a comprehensive level. It is our collective responsibility to protect Earth — the water planet. He should at least be applauded for "noble intentions"

Pakistan army contingent to be posted in Saudi Arabia on 'training and advisory mission'
The announcement followed a meeting between Saudi Arabia's Ambassador, Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki, and Pakistan Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa earlier today at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
The contingent will join Pakistani troops that are already stationed in Saudi Arabia and "will not be deployed outside the Kingdom", the statement read.
Pakistan already has around 1,180 troops in Saudi Arabia under a 1982 bilateral agreement.
Pakistan is one of the 41 members of the Saudi-led Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) that is being headed by a former army chief, the retired Gen Raheel Sharif. The military alliance was formally launched by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman last year.

Disgruntled Gulalai Claims Credit For PTI Defeat In Lodhran Poll

Ayesha Gulalai claims credit for PML-N’s victory in Lodhran by-poll
The Express Tribune
Ayesha Gulalai, the disgruntled MNA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) could only manage to pull a shocking victory in the recently held Lodhran by-election against the Imran Khan-led party because of her.
Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Thursday, she said deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif did not even visit the NA-154 constituency to run the election campaign for his party, Express News reported. “On the other hand, I led an election campaign on behalf of the ruling party to mend the public opinion against the PTI and reveal the party’s true face in front of people of Lodhran,” said the MNA. This Pathani MNA is "hell bent" on de-facing Immy and his Party
“My electioneering received people’s approval that led to PTI candidate Ali Tareen’s eventual defeat,” she said.Ali Tareen – the son of Jahangir Tareen who was disqualified by the Supreme Court for being ‘dishonest’ – was overwhelmed by PML-N’s Peer Iqbal Shah in February 12 by-election.
Gulalai further said that she will make an important announcement regarding launching her own faction of PTI on Friday. Immy's support in PTI is rock solid !
The PTI, after serving her show-cause notice, moved the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to de-seat her on charges of defecting the party. The commission, however, dismissed the reference to de-seat the MNA, elected on a women’s reserved seat. :D

The poster has marked out several pakistani posts on this google earth screen grab, and claims that these posts have been either destroyed and/or vacated by the Pakistani army.
A word of caution: This is a google earth image, where the pakistani posts are still intact, and the image is from last year. There is no way to verify what has been claimed by this poster via any publicly available source.

India not to let Pakistan escape at meet against funding of terror - Dipanjan Roy Chaudhury, Economic Times
At next week’s Financial Action Task Force plenary in Paris, India will highlight lack of measures in Pakistan to curb flow of funds to terrorists, notwithstanding Islamabad’s efforts to act against terror infrastructure just ahead of the meet.

Pakistan is likely to come under intense pressure from India at the plenary, as Delhi is sure to raise the issue of Pak-based terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and LeT carrying out recent attack on a military camp at Sunjuwan in Jammu.

The FATF is an intergovernmental organisation coordinating efforts to combat money laundering and terror financing. At the Paris session from February 18 to 23, the FATF will assess Islamabad’s efforts in the past few months to make its legal regime and lawenforcing machinery more effective to curb flow of funds to terrorist outfits.

Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain recently approved an ordinance to amend a section of the country’s Anti-Terrorism Act, enabling authorities to act against terrorists and terror organisations proscribed by the UN Security Council, including sealing their offices and freezing bank accounts. The ordinance is apparently a move to comply with the FATF requirement ahead of the plenary of the intergovernmental organisation.

Delhi has taken note also of the US proposal for allocating $256 mn in civilian assistance and $80 mn in military aid to Pakistan in the budget for the new financial year. This comes just a few weeks after the US suspended all security assistance to Pakistan, accusing the South Asian country of not doing enough to fight terrorism in the region

US, UK joint efforts to put Pakistan on terror watchlist
Et tu, britainistan?
Britain has joined the United States in calling on Pakistan to “tackle the threat from terrorist groups” or face being added to a list of countries deemed non-compliant with terrorist financing regulations by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) – an anti-money laundering monitoring group.
A British government source has confirmed that the original motion was prepared jointly by Britain and United States
“Britain, USA and allies in Europe share these concerns and believe that action is needed”
And the paki response?
Pakistan stresses that it’s the biggest victim of terrorism and has been fighting terrorism without discrimination. It’s understood that the measures could hurt Pakistan’s economy.
Pakistan believes that the United States has been taking a lot of steps and making statement on behalf of India in relation to Hafiz Saeed and others. :((
Pakistan blamed some of 37 countries of the FATF for political maneuvering and said their real aim was to hamper its economic progress and put it on the Grey List when they meet in Paris on February 20. :(( :((

The district administration has submitted the bio-data of around 1050 prayer leaders of jamia mosques for the release of monthly stipend of Rs 10,000 each.
Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl central leader Mufti Kifayatullah along with over 300 ulema had termed that stipend un-Islamic last month but almost all prayer leaders of the jamia mosques had provided details to the district government to receive the monthly stipend.

Pakistan to deploy troops in Saudi Arabia - PTI
In a major policy shift, Pakistan has decided to deploy troops in Saudi Arabia under bilateral security cooperation with the kingdom which is involved in the ongoing civil war in neighbouring Yemen.

The Pakistan Army announced the decision {ahh. . . the army decides as usual} after a meeting between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki, at army headquarters in Rawalpindi yesterday.

"In continuation of ongoing Pak-Saudi bilateral security cooperation, a Pakistan Army contingent is being sent to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on training and advise mission. These or troops already there will not be employed outside KSA," the army said.

It also said the army "maintains bilateral security cooperation with many other Gulf/regional countries".

About the meeting of the ambassador with Bajwa, it said that matters of mutual interest including regional security situation were discussed during the meeting.

Already around 1,000 Pakistani troops are deployed in Saudi Arabia in various advisory and training roles, according to officials

There was no official word on the number of additional troops being sent to kingdom but the Dawn newspaper quoted "multiple sources" hinting that it might be the size of a composite brigade.

It also quoted army spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor that the new deployment would be much lesser than a division, and that he would give details later.

Saudi Arabia has been pushing Pakistan to provide troops since 2015 when it joined Yemen's civil war but Pakistan steadily refused, saying it would not become party to any regional conflict.

The war in Yemen stalemated and the situation has aggravated with the rebels firing missiles at regular intervals towards the kingdom.

The alliance of Muslim nations set up by Saudi Arabia and led by former Pakistan Army chief Raheel Sharif is also still in an early stage to play any role in the conflict.

Bajwa earlier this month visited Saudi Arabia for three days and met officials including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Commander of Ground Forces Lt Gen Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz.

It was his second visit to the kingdom in two months and reportedly played a role in Pakistan's decision to deploy troops.

FO summons Indian Deputy High Commissioner Again [*] on ceasefire violations

[*] = According to the Urban Dictionary the definition of Insanity is repeating the same action over and over again ( summoning the Indian Deputy High Commissioner !) and expecting different results ( not going to happen !). By this definition, the Paki FO is deemed to be insane  .
ISLAMABAD: The Director General (SA & SAARC), Dr Mohammad Faisal, Friday summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner, J.P. Singh and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control on Thursday in Battal Sector. :((
According to a foreign office announcement, the Indian occupation forces deliberately targeted a school van carrying school children on Battal-Madharpur road, resulting in the shahadat of the driver of the van, Sarfaraz Ahmed, leaving the school children severely traumatized. ( According to a recent Paki press report, there are zero child psychologist in government haspitals in the whole of Pakistan ! So timing is right to apply for Indian Medical Vijja ! )
The Director General (SA & SAARC) urged  the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement; investigate this and other incidents of ceasefire violations; instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire , in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC and the Working Boundary. He urged that the Indian side should permit UNMOGIP to play its mandated role as per the UN Security Council resolutions. On the other hand , the tone adapted by the Paki Fauj to such "violations" is the usual "moo taur jawab" response

Paki Foreign Office, Under FM Asif Still Appears To Be In A State Of Disarray, Confusion, And Shooting Aimlessly In All Directions

FO accuses Kabul of interfering in Pak affairs
ISLAMABAD - Foreign Office on Thursday accused Afghanistan of interfering in internal affairs of Pakistan. This was said by Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal while addressing a weekly news briefing. To a question about Afghan president’s tweets regarding Naqeebullah Mehsud case, he termed it an act of interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs. “The Afghan leadership has tried to portray the sit-in in a different light....The tweets are tantamount to interference in the internal affairs of Pakistan,” he said. Naqeebullah is a citizen of FATA, which is traditional Pashtun land, divided by the artificial Durand, which Afghanistan does not recognize as Paki Territory
To a question about deputy leader of the banned TTP Khalid Mehsud Sajna, he said this drone strike happened in Afghanistan and the Afghan authorities and the Resolute Support Mission (RSM) might be able to confirm it. Pakistan appreciates any action taken against the enemies of Pakistan, he said. The so-called Good vs Bad Terrorist Classification !
He further said Pakistan does not support any move by foreign states to interfere in the internal affairs of Maldives and influence its upcoming elections  Jab at India?
A particular segment in the Indian media, he said, runs with their clear intention to malign Pakistan. “We hope world community would take due cognizance of India's smear campaign against Pakistan and the deliberate creation of war hysteria,” he added.About the comments of the Defence Minister of India, the spokesperson said familiar Indian tendency of apportioning blame on Pakistan without concrete evidence is regrettable.
To a question Jordanian flag printed on the panaflexes displayed around the city during the recent visit of King of Jordan to Pakistan, he said, there was a misprinting of the flag on the posters. “The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is responsible for printing the posters. ...The CDA has been notified to correct the error for future purposes,” he said. Are there no provisions for "proof checking" of such important Ummah related matters

Rao Anwar and the killing fields of Karachi.Dawn Investigation
Around 2pm one day in October 2008, a convoy of police mobiles was on its way back after visiting the scene of a murder in Moach Goth, when two young men in a white Toyota Corolla mischievously zig-zagged in front of it. Superintendent Police (SP) Rao Anwar, who had been promoted from the rank of DSP a month earlier, was leading the convoy. According to one of the police officials in a follow-up vehicle, Rao was furious at the ‘affront’ and ordered that the car be stopped, but the youths sped away. Two mobiles, on Rao’s orders, raced after the vehicle as it turned into Baldia Town. “I followed, intending to sort things out. After all, the boys hadn’t done anything criminal,” recalls the official. Suddenly, gunshots rang out. He soon came upon a crowd of people gathered around the Corolla; inside was the body of one of the young men he had earlier seen in the car.
“He couldn’t have been more than 18 or 19 years old. The people there said the police had killed him. It made me think, what kind of a man can murder people in this way?”A decade later, as details about Rao’s ‘exploits’ are coming to light, the more relevant question is, what kind of law-enforcement system nurtures men like Rao Anwar? In any other place, this would be classified as "abuse of authority" and the person would be investigated and dismissed, but this is Pakistan !
About a kilometre off the National Highway, inside a deserted two-room farmhouse, the light from the setting sun reflects on a wall pock-marked with bullet holes. Above them hangs a portrait of the Quaid-i-Azam. The bullet marks and a bloodstained carpet are the only evidence that remains of the murders last month. “Two bodies were found here, and two in the other room,” says a DSP. Among those bodies was that of Naqeebullah Mehsud, the young man whose death in a fake encounter last month led to Rao’s suspension as Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Malir.
Until Naqeebullah’s murder, Sindh’s so-called encounter specialist had not faced any inquiry over the number of encounter killings to his ‘credit’. Not a single inquiry — despite having slain at least 444 people between 2011 and 2018, according to the police’s own records. Not a single policeman was even injured, let alone killed, during the 745 encounters.
That Pakhtun tradition of badal (vengeance), according to several serving and retired police officials, is the reason why encounter killings are unknown in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Fata. “But the powers that be don’t care that the cops in Karachi are dying like dogs for doing their dirty work,” said a police official.
Rao is now under the Pashtun "radar" so to say; no wonder, he is in hiding . IMO, he is probably a "marked man" !
According to a source in the Sindh government, about four months ago, an awkward situation arose during a visit to the Sindh secretariat in Karachi by several military officials. Among those at the meeting was the chief secretary as well as the late Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani. The visitors included a lieutenant general, four major generals and some foreign military officials. “One of the generals asked the CM why the provincial government was not taking action against such a murderer. Shah Sahib ignored the question, but when another officer of the same rank later repeated the question, he finally responded, ‘It would be better for you to also ask your corps commander and the agencies,” says the source. So, if version is to be believed, such "encounters" are with the connivance of the Deep State and its Kuffia - secret - Agencies

Senator Suspects That Paki Fauj ( And Hence The Pakistan Govt !) Is In "The Pocket Of The Saudi Govt"

Senator Babar raises objections over army deployment in Saudi Arabia
Senator Farhatullah Babar on Friday raised objections over the army's deployment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), terming the development as "tantamount to bypassing the parliament".Drawing the attention of the House to the matter, Senator Babar called the deployment to Saudi an issue of public importance. He said he had also given an adjournment notice to discuss the issue. The Paki Senate also previously "raised objections" to the CPEC One Sided Agreement with China, but nothing seems to have changed, therefore this will also likely meet the same fate. Pakistan CANNOT afford to be seen to annoy one of their three mai -baaps
Earlier on Thursday, the army announced that it was deploying troops in Saudi Arabia under an existing bilateral security pact. The army made it clear that its contingent in KSA will take part in training and advice mission. “In continuation of ongoing Pak-KSA bilateral security cooperation, a Pakistan Army contingent is being sent to KSA on training and advice mission,” the Inter-Services Public Relations had announced after a meeting between Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Bajwa and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki at the General Headquarters.
Referring to the ISPR announcement, he said that the development came after a meeting between the COAS and the Saudi ambassador which was preceded by a recent three-day visit — the second in two months — "quietly" undertaken to Saudi Arabia. And yet, the Aam Abduls of Pakiland, are treated like dirt by the Saudis
He maintained that the number of troops being sent is unknown but the disclosure that it will be less than a division "indicated that almost a full-fledged army division is being sent to the Kingdom".Going after the Foreign Office, the senator termed its condemnations against Houthi missile attacks as "nuanced statements", alleging that the FO has been paving the way and providing false justifications for the development.
Referred to the parliament's unanimous "resolution seeking strict neutrality" in connection with the conflict, he asked who was making "unilateral" decisions, which bypass the parliament. The Paki Senate, like the Paki National Assembly are like paper tigers. Good to govern on paper onlee
Saudi Arabia has been demanding deployment of Pakistani troops since the start of the Yemen conflict in 2015, but Pakistan has been struggling to evade the demand despite a unanimously adopted parliamentary resolution affirming the country’s “neutrality” in the conflict. Why is Imran Khan quiet on this issue . He is a proponent of neutrality in the Sunni- Shia power tussle being played in the region
Last year, Pakistan sent its retired army chief Gen Raheel Sharif to lead a Saudi coalition. Therefore, it was always speculated that the deployment would take place even though it could not happen as quickly as the Saudis wanted. The ISPR insists that the new deployment and nearly 1,000 Pakistani troops already stationed there would not be “employed outside KSA”. There was no word on the size of the deployment.

Transgenders - (AKA Hijras In Local Lingo!) As "Equal Citizens" In Islamic Pakiland

First-ever transgender scout batch takes oath in Karachi

Image
( Some of the Abdul/Ayeshas "look too old to be scouting raw material !)
In a first, as many as 40 transgenders took an oath to become members of the scouting community at a ceremony held at a hotel in Karachi on Friday.
It was the first instance in the country when transgender youth were welcomed into the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association (PBSA), a national scouting organisation and one of the largest volunteer forces in the country. The young transgenders, wearing scout scarfs, took the oath at the ceremony and were educated about scouting rules.
TransAction Alliance president Farzana Jan while addressing the ceremony said the transgender community in Pakistan is extremely happy to be welcomed into the scouting community. "We feel that we are recognised as equal citizens of Pakistan and we are glad to see that the level of our acceptance is increasing," she said. Of course, Krachi is of course, not the "heartland of Pakiland", nothing like this can likely happen in Pind Dadan Khan or Tando Adam
"This is a defining moment for the transgender community as they become part of [a] self-reliant, co-educational youth organisation extending to all sectors of the society," said Ihsan Khosa, the chairman of Petarian Human Rights Organisation and a transgender rights activist. :((

Paki Minister Says That India Is Behind The "Free Karachi And Free Balochistan Campaign" In D.C.

Steps taken to counter ‘Free Karachi’ drive, Senate told
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal told the Senate on Thursday the government had reacted strongly over the ongoing “Free Karachi” campaign in Washington, but the US laws did not provide it any forum to challenge such acts. ( Evil and Clever Yindoos :D )
The minister, while responding on behalf of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif to a calling-attention notice about the media campaign on US soil, said Islamabad had taken up the issue with Washington but “the situation is that under the cover of free speech and other such factors they have not really responded to us”.( Evil and Clever Yindoos :D )
“So if you take them to court or to the State Department under the available laws, the whole text does not qualify” for any legal action and “the American laws do not provide us any legal forum where we can ask for implementation of certain laws and regulations”, he said. The Pakis should "demand" a change in such discriminatory laws ( just as their FM has "demanded" that the US should finance the fencing of the Paki Afghan border if it wants to fight "terrorism" )
“We know it is all India-sponsored and they are paying $3,000 per cab to put up such banners,” said Mr Afzal, adding that the US system only allowed them to react in the same manner. So the Pakistani community had come forward and launched the “Free Kashmir” and “Free Khalistan” campaigns there.
Clever idea ! But will the world "buy" this Paki BS !
Giving a policy statement on the US move, launched with the help of some European countries, to place Pakistan on the global terrorist-financing list, the finance minister said the government was “aggressively contesting” the move “which we feel is politically motivated”. Mr Afzal said that Pakistan had done more than any other country to curb money laundering.

Malala Being "Used For Indian Propaganda"

Is Padman's director planning a special screening of his film for Malala?
The Nobel Peace Prize winner had earlier expressed her support for the film and its message, meeting Twinkle Khanna at Oxford and showing appreciation for the idea. Now, according to IANS, the film's director R Balki is working towards a special screening of Padman just for her. He confirmed the news, saying, "We are definitely showing it to her at the earliest, as soon as the logistics are worked out."
Padman has still not been released in Pakistan. The film is rumoured to be banned. Malala , Pakistan's second Noble Prize Winner is fast becoming Persona Non Grata in her own country, like the first Noble Prize Winner, Prof Abdus Salam

Pakistan’s external debt, liabilities touch $89 billion

ISLAMABAD: Amid declining foreign exchange reserves and weakening capacity to repay, Pakistan’s external debt and liabilities rose sharply to almost $89 billion at the end of December, reported the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The government booked a higher amount of debt than what an independent economist predicted over two years ago. Former finance minister Dr Hafiz Pasha had predicted in December 2015 that by June 2019, Pakistan’s external debt and liabilities would touch $90 billion. With six months to go, the likelihood of external debt and liabilities crossing $90 billion is extremely high.

Pakistan’s total external debt and liabilities as of December 2017 stood at $88.9 billion, higher by $5.8 billion or 6.9% over six months ago. There was an increase of $13.2 billion in the amount of external debt and liabilities in just one year. In December 2016, external debt and liabilities amounted to $75.7 billion. At the time, Pakistan’s gross official reserves were $18.6 billion, which have already slid to $12.8 billion.

Out of total external debt, the government’s direct obligations are equal to $70.5 billion, which exclude guaranteed and public sector enterprises’ debt.

The main increase came in the external debt contracted by issuing sovereign bonds and taking expensive commercial loans. In the first half, debt obligated by issuing Sukuk and Eurobonds increased by 52% to $7.3 billion.

Similarly, the debt obtained by taking commercial loans increased to $5.3 billion by December 2017 – a net addition of $503 million or 10.4% in six months. On a yearly basis, debt accumulated through commercial loans increased by 189% or $3.5 billion.

The rise in external debt comes at a time when official foreign currency reserves are plunging as well. The SBP has already lost $3.5 billion worth of reserves since the start of the fiscal year.

The alarming figures indicate the government’s inability to ensure enough non-debt creating inflows to meet external account requirements. Due to huge domestic and foreign borrowings, debt servicing is now the single largest charge on the federal budget.

A sum of $3.62 billion was spent on the servicing of outstanding stock of external debt in just six months, according to the central bank. The country paid $2.7 billion in principal loans and $988 million in interest on outstanding loans.

The government could not get any foreign loan rescheduled in the first half of the fiscal year, unlike last year when it was able to roll over $1.2 billion worth of external loans.

Two weeks ago, the government had admitted before the National Assembly that Pakistan’s external debt bearing capacity has deteriorated further. In its Debt Policy Statement 2017-18, which the finance ministry submitted to the lower house of parliament, the government admitted that during the last fiscal year the country’s external debt increased at a faster pace than its foreign exchange earnings did.

In addition, Pakistan’s external debt in percentage of foreign exchange reserves also increased to the three-year high. Similarly, the cost of external debt servicing in percentage of foreign exchange earnings significantly increased – also the highest than the last year of the Pakistan Peoples Party government.

Due to the widening current account deficit, independent economists have lately estimated the gross external financing requirements in the range of $24 billion to $26 billion for the current fiscal year. The government’s conservative estimates put the figure at $18 billion.

The financing gap is estimated at roughly $6 billion for the remainder period of the current fiscal year, which would either be met through more foreign loans or drawing official foreign currency reserves.

Too Little, Too Late Syndrome. Paki Senate Recommends "Action" On The "Sick Paki Airline" :D !

'Missing' PIA plane: Senate body recommends extradition of airlines' former CEO from Germany.
A Senate special committee on Wednesday asked the Foreign Office (FO) to approach the German Embassy in Islamabad to extradite Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) former CEO Bernd Hildenbrand for his alleged involvement in the unauthorised renting and subsequent sale of an Airbus-310 belonging to the national carrier last year.
Hildenbrand and retired Air Commodore Imran Akhtar (brother of former director general of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Rizwan Akhtar) ( This news linking Rizwan's brother will definitely ensure that the case never comes out of cold storage !) are under investigation in Pakistan — the former for reportedly having flown the said Airbus to Germany and the latter for selling the same for the price of scrap in Germany.
The missing Airbus scandal came to light last year and created such pressure that the incumbent air chief, Sohail Aman, had to issue a statement declaring that if Akhtar is indeed caught by NAB or the Federal Investigation Agency, the air force would not stand by their man (who was in service at the time).A few days later, ISI chief Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar had resigned from service — a decision that raised a few eyebrows in Senate. At that time, it was rumoured that Massa had a hand in the resignation of the ISI Chief !

Two things.

Afzalguru should be ecstatic that Indians are paying paki cab drivers $3000 per cab in DC. All that newly earned money will be promptly repatriated to ba(w)kistan to alleviate abject poverty in b'lochistn, 'pakhtoonwa and pakjab. Like somewhen said, dollars will start flowing in the gutters of ba(w)kistan.

Secondly, Afzalguru must know that the world owes pakiland Tens of Trillions of Dollars in back compensation for yeoman services rendered and innocent pakis sacrificed towards the good of the west. If he even wants to ...er..retain a teeny weeny share of the payment, he must leave the local hawala system intact otherwise he will lose all that new found wealth.
