Admission of state sponsored terrorism by Pakistani authorities

see this Der Spigel Interview where Musharraf admits to that.

On 7th Nov in TimesNow Channel, Tasneem Noorani, a former Secretary of the Pakistani Interior Ministry, openly said that.

Kiyani called the Haqqanis as strategic assets.

In Dec. 2008, President Zardari himself admitted to ISI helping LeT. He said,"The links between the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency and the LeT were developed in the old days when dictators used to run the country. After the 9/11 terror attacks in the US, things have changed to a great extent"

In an address to bureaucrats in July 2009, President Zardari said: "Militants and extremists were deliberately created and nurtured as a policy to achieve some short-term tactical objectives. Let us be truthful to ourselves and make a candid admission of the realities. The terrorists of today were the heroes of yesteryears until 9/11 occurred and they began to haunt us as well"

In Nov. 2009, Prime Minister Gilani admitted to the support for terrorism by Musharraf as "running with the hares and hunting with the hounds".

When Bush warned the Pakistanis in August 2008 of their support to Al Qaeda, Afrasiab Khattak, President of Awami National Party (ANP) said this: "The question is why it has taken the Americans so long to see what the ISI is doing. We’ve been telling them for years but they wouldn’t buy it.". See here.

In an interview to the BBC as far back as on Feb. 13, 1994, Benazir Bhutto admitted how she handed over to Rajiv Gandhi the complete list of Sikh activists colluding with the ISI in terrorism in the Punjab. Later, Nawaz Sharif described this interview as a faux pas.

Apart from these, of course, numerous Pakistani commentators, analysts, and editors have openly admitted to terror as a state policy.

Why Did Pakistan's Spy Chief Make a Secret Trip to China?
Pasha's China trip has been interpreted by some as a tacit act of defiance—a reminder to his American counterparts that the Pakistanis can always look east to their “all-weather” friend across the Himalayas rather than bend the knee to the will of the U.S.

But it also may be a sign of China's growing disquiet with Pakistan. Another top-ranking Pakistani military officer, Lt. Gen Wahid Arshad, had already conducted a considerable tour of China just weeks ago in a bid to improve ties. A few analysts have suggested that Pasha's trip — couched in vague terms about building a “broad-based strategic dialogue” — may have been less a visit and more of a summons.
Chinese officials claimed the attacks in Kashgar were authored by the shadowy East Turkestan Islamic Movement, a jihadist organization of mostly ethnic Uighurs, a Turkic Muslim minority that comprises the majority in the far-western Chinese region of Xinjiang. China routinely invokes the specter of the terrorist threat when cracking down on dissent in the restive region. Yet disturbances there tend to be triggered more often by social discontent — many Uighurs chafe at state policies they deem discriminatory and marginalizing — than militant connivance. Pasha's presence in Beijing may mark Beijing's continued efforts to root out Uighur dissidents and sympathizers beyond China's borders, as it has already done in Kazakhstan.

they need to change into gold riyal or gold dirham and link their currency to gold futures. All their problems arise from lifting the sdre burden of rupee while their martial talents beggars something more breathtaking such as gold or diamonds.

Gwadar port aims to become a new Dubai

GWADAR: For over a decade, Pakistani officials have dreamed of transforming the small but strategically located fishing port of Gwadar into a duty-free port and free economic zone – Pakistan’s answer to Dubai.

The aim is for Gwadar
– located on the Arabian Sea near Iran and the mouth of the Persian Gulf – to become a regional commercial, industrial and shipping hub, as part of the ambitious China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

The corridor is designed to give China a shorter, more secure trading route, via Pakistan, to the Middle East and beyond, while also boosting Pakistan’s economy.

Right now, however, the dusty “next Dubai” on Pakistan’s coast resembles the original mainly in one respect – it doesn’t have much water.

“It hasn’t rained here for the last three years,” explains a local journalist, Sajid Baloch.

Abdul Rahim, who works for the Gwadar Development Authority, under the provincial government of Balochistan, said climate change is playing a role in Gwadar’s thirst.

“I would say because of climate change the rains have stopped – it used to rain much more often and in every season. Now Gwadar is facing severe water issues. There is no fresh water here,” Rahim said.

Nearby Akra Kaur reservoir dried up two years ago, and water must now be brought from a more distant source, he said. Some of the water coming in is contaminated, leading to an increase in waterborne illnesses such as hepatitis, he added.

Tapping groundwater isn’t a solution. “There is no point in digging wells as the underground water is all brackish,” Rahim said.

GROWING FAST

Right now, the Gwadar peninsula – a hammerhead-shaped projection of land into the Arabian Sea – is home to about 100,000 people, following completion of the first phase of the port development.

But as development continues, the area’s population is expected to grow to 500,000 by 2020, according to the port authority’s website.

On one side of the peninsula is the deep-sea port, built by the Chinese state-owned China Overseas Holding Company. On the other side lies the local harbor.

Fishing was Gwadar’s main economic activity before the port started operations, and some local people say they so far see little benefit in the government’s grand plans.

“We are dying from thirst, there are no doctors in our hospitals, the electricity comes and goes and there is garbage everywhere as no one collects it,” complained Rasool Bux, a fisherman who lives near the harbor.

“First fix all these problems. Then develop this dream of Dubai,” he urged.

Bux said most in the town get their water from tankers that make the two-hour drive from Mirani Dam. But the tankers only come once or twice a month to his area, Bux said, and shortages are common.

Muhammad Ali Kakar, the province’s planning and development secretary, told a government committee in December that the total demand for water in Gwadar city was 6.5 million gallons a day, but tankers supplied only 2 million gallons.

SATISFYING THIRST

To help solve the water shortages two desalination plants have been built in the port, with Chinese expertise. The smaller can provide 200,000 gallons of potable water per day to the port, while the larger one, recently completed in the adjacent duty-free zone, can supply double that amount.

Both plants rely on power from generators, as there is not enough grid power in Gwadar to run them, said Sajjd H. Baloch, the director general of Gwadar Development Authority.

Some fishermen say they now buy clean drinking water from the port, paying up to 50 Pakistani rupees (around $0.40) for a three-liter can.

Gul Mohammed, the operations director for the port authority, said his agency was willing to supply clean water outside the port and duty-free zone, but would need to be paid to produce it.

“We are willing to provide water from the larger plant to the city of Gwadar at the rate of 0.98 rupees per gallon, but the Government of Balochistan has to sign an agreement with us,” he said.

The provincial government is reluctant to accept the offer, hoping for rains this year to fill the Akra Kaur dam, Rahim said.

The army, tasked with protecting the CPEC project, meanwhile, also has laid the foundation for a large desalination plant to be built with help from the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland.

The plant, to be completed by July, will provide 4.4 million gallons of water a day, free of cost, to the inhabitants of Gwadar city, according to an army press release.

Providing better services, including clean drinking water, is seen as a way of helping win local support for the development push.

The army also has brought in specialist doctors to supplement those already working at the local government-run hospital.

A new road will soon connect the port to the Makran Coastal Highway, which links Gwadar to Karachi. Gwadar’s new airport will be Pakistan’s largest when it is complete.

The China Power Company also plans to open a 300 megawatt coal-fired power plant around 20km (12 miles) from the port to provide electricity to Gwadar.

Meanwhile, tourism has started too, and the port is increasingly bustling with visitors.

“Certainly the security in Gwadar has improved considerably in the last two years. I would say that, given all the recent development, the dream of Dubai will be realized in a decade or so,” said Munir Ahmed, a port security officer.

Italian Paki Woman, "Honour Killed" In Gujrat By Father, Brother Because She Refused To Marry !

Italian-Pakistani woman allegedly ( Let us call a spade a spade !) killed by father, brother over honour
GUJRAT: An Italian-Pakistani woman, Sana Cheema, was killed by her father, brother, and uncle in an alleged case of honour killing, Geo News reported Tuesday morning.
Police said that the 26-year-old woman’s family had termed her death as an ‘accident’ and buried the body in West Mangowal area of District Gujrat on April 18. To hide the hideous crime
However, district police officer (DPO) Gujrat started an investigation after social media reports suggested that the girl had been murdered.
According to the police, the girl’s father, identified as Ghulam Mustafa, wanted to marry her off to his relative but Sana wanted to get married in Italy. The father then took on board his son, Adnan Mustafa, and brother, Mazhar Iqbal, and hatched a plan to kill her.
Gujrat, in Pakjab, Pakistan is the HQ of illegal immigration, counterfeit passports, ID, and other forms of Pakistaniyat . Most of illegal Pakis oversees hail from this region !
The police have registered a case against three suspects on April 23, who are yet to be arrested.
On the issue, the Italian foreign ministry remarked that it has kept an eye on the case, adding that it is determined to reach to the bottom of the case. The ministry also said that it is willing to cooperate with Pakistani authorities over the issue. Moreover, the Pakistani community in Brescia also protested against the killing on Tuesday. As more and more Pakis flee abroad illegally, expect to see more of these kind of "honour killings". Paki maards need to "get into their heads" that their Ayeshas raised abroad, cannot be put behind 4 walls oversees !!!

Culture Shock Awaits The Chini Man :D

Chinese man flies to Pakistan to marry woman from Sargodha
SARGODHA: A Chinese man flew all the way from his country to marry a woman in Pakistan whom he got to know through social media.
Twenty-six-year-old Budio from China and 21-year-old Shamaa from Pakistan’s Sargodha city tied the knot Sunday evening at a ceremony filled with zest and fervour. This is another nuptial. Not the earlier one, between the Chini maard, and the Christian Woman . These "CPEC marriages" are another sign of "bonding" between China and Pakiland
.
Budio flew to Pakistan with his sisters, who along with the bride’s family, participated in the rituals of Pakistani weddings. In one of the rituals, the groom was stopped by the bride’s sisters and friends at the gate and also fed milk in a fancy glass. In Chini culture, milk drinking is not the "done thing"
The guests from China seemed perplexed during another practice — in which the groom’s side gives money to the bride’s sisters and friends — when the latter party demanded Pakistani currency instead of the Chinese Yuan they were offered. IMO, should not have "rejected" the offer of Chini currency. Sooner or later, it is going to be the currency of choice in Pakiland
While Shamaa enjoyed her wedding to the fullest, Budio seemed uneasy with all the garlands he was made to wear in the sweltering evening. The couple flew from Sargodha to Islamabad, from where they will leave for China to start their new life. Meal ticket to China via CPEC marriage  , Extended family in Sargodha to follow later, provided China gives immigrant visa to them  . The Paki family has to make sure that "halaal offerings" are available in rice and polk eating China. No insistence that "gloom" convert to Malsi

India strongly raises terrorism issue at SCO FMs' meet in China

BEIJING: In a veiled attack on Pakistan, India today said that terrorism is an enemy of the basic human rights and the fight against it should also identify States that "encourage, support and finance" the menace and "provide sanctuary" to terror groups.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, during her address at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation + (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting also attended by Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, raised the issue of global terrorism and protectionism.

There are a number of challenges that are being faced by the world today, foremost being the threat of global terrorism and the imminent need to build a strong security architecture to combat it, the minister said.

"Terrorism is an enemy of the basic human rights: of life, peace and prosperity," Swaraj said.

The criminal terrorist militias are not impeded by borders as they seek to destroy the architecture of international stability and build walls of fear in societies that believe in pluralism, she said.

"We strongly believe that our fight against terrorism should not only seek to eliminate terrorists but should also identify and take strong measures against States that encourage, support and finance terrorism and provide sanctuary to terrorists and terror groups," Swaraj said without mentioning any country.

Maiming and killing innocent lives indiscriminately, constitutes the most blatant violation of human rights, she said.

"We have to work together to wipe-out this scourge from the face of the earth. In order to realise this objective, we must unite across our differences, strengthen our resolve and script an effective strategy against terror. We welcome the clarity shown by the SCO on terrorism from its inception.

"We should also urgently resolve to establish Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism that India proposed more than two decades ago in the United Nations. We are determined to consistently strengthen cooperation within the SCO framework for comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security," the minister said.

On trade and investment, Swaraj said that "protectionism in all its forms should be rejected and efforts should be made to discipline measures that constitute barriers to trade".

The meeting was also attended by foreign ministers Wang Yi of China, Kairat Abdrakhmanov of Kazakhstan, Abdyldaev Erlan Bekeshovich of Kyrgyzstan, Sergey Lavrov of Russia, Sirodjidin Muhridinovich Aslov of Tajikistan, Abdulaziz Khafizovich Kamilov of Uzbekistan, and Secretary General of the SCO Rashid Alimov among others.

Swaraj also raised the issue of reforms at the UN Security Council and said "it is clear to many of us that the Security Council is increasingly unable, or sometimes unwilling, to respond to the security challenges of our times, with tragic consequences.

For long India has been calling for the reform of the UN Security Council, the world body's top organ.

"We must not lose sight of the fact that reforms of the UN will be incomplete, without reforms in the Security Council to make it more representative of contemporary realities".
"Since 2008, the international community has carefully nurtured the ongoing Inter Governmental Negotiations at the UN to take our discussions on UNSC reforms forward," she said.

An overwhelming majority of members have expressed their desire to see these negotiations continue on the basis of a text, Swaraj said.

India is committed to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Paris Agreement of 2015 on combating climate change. Addressing Climate Change and promoting secure, affordable and sustainable clean energy are India's shared priorities, she said.

Following the establishment of "International Solar Alliance" in December 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted its Founding Conference in New Delhi in March 2018, during which the "Delhi Solar Agenda" was adopted, she said.

"We want connectivity to pave the way for cooperation and trust between our societies. For this, respect for sovereignty is essential. Inclusivity, transparency and sustainability are imperative. India has cooperated extensively with international community for enhanced connectivity.

"This is evident from our involvement with the International North-South Transport Corridor, the Chabahar Port Development, the Ashgabat Agreement, India-Myanmar-Thailand Highway Project and Bangladesh-Butan-India-Nepal Initiative among others," Swaraj said.
India has operationalised the air freight corridor between Kabul, Kandahar, New Delhi and Mumbai last year.

"I believe that peace and development in Afghanistan contributes to security and prosperity of the member states and the region as a whole. This can only be achieved through political dialogue and reconciliation in an atmosphere free from terror and violence, within the framework of Afghan Constitution.

"We must strongly support the active efforts of the Afghan Government to implement Afghan-led, Afghan-owned and Afghan-controlled inclusive peace and reconciliation process. India actively supports the activation of the SCO-Afghanistan Contact Group, the Moscow Consultation Format and other mechanisms of dialogue and cooperation for restoration of peace and development in Afghanistan," the minister added.

POTUS Gets "Death Threat" From Pakistan. ! US Seeks Paki Help To Track User !

US enlists Pakistan’s help to track user who threatened Donald Trump
ISLAMABAD – The United States has sought Islamabad’s help in finding out the individual who threatened US President Donald Trump, from Pakistan. The request for the help was confirmed by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday which informed the National Assembly Standing Committee that the US authorities had contacted the FIA last week, with a complaint that someone had threatened the US leader. However, he said that they had been unable to identify the suspect so far. The FIA officials also admitted that it was hard to track down people who posted blasphemous content on social media.
Not sure if this reluctance to cooperate is because of the recent diplomatic stand off with Massa over that car accident , or due to technical incompetence or both
Moreover, FIA Cyber Crimes director, retired Capt Muhammad Shoaib informed the lawmakers that it was difficult to track the social media users who posted images showing Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan as Lord Shiva.
Mr Shoaib also explained that 17 accounts had been identified from where the doctored pictures of Imran Khan had been posted adding that about 15 of them were based in India, and only two of them were operated from Pakistan.“One of the users had deleted the post but the other still carried it,” confirmed the official.
Mr Shoaib also declared that a request to the US Webmaster for tracking the user, who had initially uploaded the picture, had been forwarded since social media was controlled from the US. On the insistence of MNA Ramesh Lal about why the culprits were not being nabbed, Mr Shoaib informed the committee that operators of social media sites concealed information about users, especially politicians.
n a separate interaction with Dawn News, Mr Shoaib revealed that the US authorities – on the issue of threats to Trump – had been advised to contact the FIA through diplomatic channels i.e Foreign Office. Where it will be stalled, or used as a bargaining tool  ( for eg. "force India to open talks on Kashmir " )

Back to begging!

The stage is set for picking up the begging bowl again and requesting another bailout package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The decision would be taken as soon as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regime ends its tenure next month.

Last week, Pakistan’s delegation, led by Miftah Ismail, advisor to the prime minister on finance, participated in the spring meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington DC. The possibility of making any formal requests for a bailout package had been ruled out during this event.

The PML-N is nearing completion of its tenure. The incumbent regime is going to leave its office after a month and 10 days. It does not have any mandate to strike any fresh deal with the IMF.

Similarly, the IMF would not finalise any fresh package with an outgoing regime for obvious reasons that an outgoing government cannot make commitments on behalf of an incoming government.

Advisor to PM on Finance Miftah Ismail might have discussed the possibility of seeking another package in background discussions and conveyed signals for approaching the IMF after placement of a caretaker setup. However, the IMF would prefer to finalise a deal when the new government would be sworn in after winning the next general elections, as the new regime would have the mandate to undertake the required crucial, but difficult reforms.

At the moment, Pakistan has entered into a full-fledged crisis by plunging into twin deficits - the yawning budget deficit and current account deficit in the outgoing fiscal year.

The current account deficit had crossed $12.02 billion mark in the first nine months (July-March) period of the current fiscal and widened 50 percent compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.

Last year, the Finance Ministry had forced the Planning Commission to slash down the projections of the current account deficit (CAD) after which the target of CAD was projected at over $10 billion. In the aftermath of holding post programme monitoring (PPM) talks with the IMF, the CAD target was revised upward for the current fiscal year.

Now the budget makers are in the process of finalising macroeconomic framework for preparation of the next budget 2018-19 and also revising important macro figures for the outgoing fiscal year 2017-18. For this, approval would be sought from the highest economic decision making forum of the country, the National Economic Council (NEC) scheduled to meet under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

After the passage of nine months, the government has revised upward the projection of CAD and estimated to go up to $15.3 billion for the outgoing fiscal year 2017-18, while they had projected that the CAD would be lowered close to $14 billion.

The planning and finance managers are expecting that the trade gap will be narrowed down because exports growth will continue picking up while imports will be slashed down massively in the wake of reduction in imports of machinery and other material from China after completion of energy projects. It will be hard for the country to achieve growth in exports in the next fiscal when there will be higher base in the range of double digit. This year, growth picked up slightly in exports after continuously falling over the last couple of years.

This clearly points to the fact that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will slowdown in the next financial year, despite continued political rhetoric that it is a game changer for Pakistan.

Among the many economic challenges that Pakistan faces, the increasing current account deficit would not have been a problem if those at the helm of affairs were able to manage its financing. It is problematic for the country because the managers are unable to finance it without debt creating inflows.

Pakistan’s economic worries continued to multiply as foreign debt increased while foreign currency reserves declined simultaneously, posing threat that a balance of payment crisis would emerge sooner or later.

The same is happening again leaving no other option but to knock at the doors of the IMF in Washington after few months.

The mother of all economic ills starts from increasing budget deficit because it ploughs the seeds of macroeconomic instability and also pushes demands for increasing gap on external fronts. When the country fails to finance its growth through internal savings it is bound to rely upon external savings. So, the crisis starts following the inability to manage internal accounts properly.

With expected revenue shortfall on account of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and non tax revenue as well as expenditures overrun, the budget deficit might shoot up and go close to six percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) for the outgoing fiscal year 2017-18 against 5.8 percent of GDP for the last fiscal year 2016-17. If the caretaker setup decides to keep the monster of circular debt on official books then the budget deficit may shoot up close to eight percent of the GDP till end June 2018. However, the economic team still claims that the budget deficit will be restricted at 5.3 to 5.4 percent of GDP for the outgoing fiscal year.

Insiders at the Q Block insist that the presence of an incapable economic team sitting at the helm of affairs at the Ministry of Finance poses serious threat. They allege that the team may not be able to control both twin deficits, including the budget deficit and current account deficit.

It is tragic that many economists deliberately give wrong prescriptions to please those who are at the helm of affairs. They always stand in the queue of job seekers, so they please their masters by presenting a rosy picture.

Recently, a renowned economist who is among the strong contenders of the future caretaker setup told western diplomats in Islamabad that Pakistan’s economy would be touching $1,000 billion size by 2025 with the help of the CPEC. Our ruling elites and institutions started thumping with joy on hearing the pleasant news, all the while hating those who tell the realities on the ground.

Without an iota of any doubt, Pakistan possesses immense potential but it will have to come from the boom- bust cycle by achieving higher trajectory of growth for at least 10 years without any interruptions. For turning this dream into a reality, Pakistan will have to undertake prerequisite steps by removing structural bottlenecks on every front of the economy. For financing this higher growth, the country will have to mobilise domestic resources in terms of boosting tax to GDP ratio, investments, and savings in percentage of the GDP. If it does not happen, no magical force would be able to steer the economy out from crisis mode and mess on permanent basis.

When contacted, former finance secretary Abdul Wajid Rana said, “Economic fundamentals are weaker than these were in 2013. The fiscal deficit inclusive of circular debt is expected to be closer to what it was in June 2013 and current account balance is worst off as compared to June 2013 (five percent versus one percent of GDP) which clearly speaks of economic management during the last 5 years.”

The finance secretary concluded, “The weakening overall balance of payments needs appropriate employment of fiscal and monetary instruments available at the disposal of government as well as charting out contingency plan to deal with transition through election and post-election situation.”

It is evident that the government, to get out of the difficult situation has to take tough decisions. In the absence of such strong will, Pakistan will continue to incur debt and a balance of payment crisis sooner or later.

At least 5 policemen martyred in suicide attack targeting police van in Quetta

At least five policemen were martyred and seven others were injured when a suicide bomber targeted a police van on Airport Road in Quetta on Tuesday evening, military's media wing said.

Two suicide bombers also tried to attack a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost in Quetta's Mian Ghundi area, however, the FC personnel killed the attackers following an exchange of fire before they could explode their suicide vests, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital Quetta, Dr Kamran, confirmed the casualties.

Police and FC personnel rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the area.

In January this year, at least seven people were killed on Quetta's Zarghoon Road when a suicide bomber rammed into a parked police truck, injuring 16 people, police said.

Quetta's security challenges

Balochistan has faced a number of security challenges in recent months, with security personnel in the province often being targeted in roadside explosions and suicide attacks.

Five people were killed and 27 others had suffered injuries in a suicide attack on a convoy of a paramilitary force in the Sariab Road area of Quetta in November last year.

In October, seven policemen belonging to the Rapid Response Group (RRG) of Balochistan Police and a passer-by were killed in a suicide blast, also in Sariab area.

Fifteen people, including eight soldiers, were martyred when a suicide bomber targeted a military truck near the Pishin bus stop in Quetta in August.

Earlier in June, 14 people ─ including seven policemen ─ lost their lives in a suicide blast that shook Shuhada Chowk in Quetta's Gulistan Road area.

Balochistan has been experiencing incidents of violence and targeted killings for over a decade. More than 1,400 incidents targeting the minority Shia and Hazara community have taken place in the province during the past 15 years.

yensoy Ji :

After their shopping at Harrods - according to my friends in London - they usually dine at Bombay Brasserie, Chor Bizarre, Gaylords, Quilon, Tamarind, Veeraswami and the various Jimmy Spice Restaurants in the Suburbs. My friends advise me that none of these Restaurant serve Hallal Food!

PS : I don't think that the Terroristani Rupee will ever see the 100 Level. 125 even 150 is a good possibility.

Yes. Paki efforts to keep the PKR overvalued to preserve h&d hurt them far more than letting the PKR slide to its true value.

CJP Related "News"

1. Suo Moto Nisar Now Says "Mission Accomplished"

I’ve stopped taking suo motu, says CJ
I’ve stopped taking suo motu, says CJ

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar, has said he has stopped taking suo motu notices as the Supreme Court on Monday constituted a committee headed by anchorperson Hamid Mir for examining the financial problems being faced by the management of Geo News and resolving the issue of payment of salaries to its employees.
IOW, an employee of an organization ( Mir !) is assigned to "fix' the problem of his employer ( Geo) . How stupid is that from a conflict of interest point of view as well as from an organizational point of view
The court also ruled for looking into the matter pertaining to re-shuffling of number of Geo channel and observed if the channel has a legal right in the matter, it should convince and justify it before the court as nobody could snatch that right from the channel.
The Editor-in-Chief of Geo and Jang Group, Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman, said this will turn into an issue with the TV channels, requesting the court to explain it. The honourable chief justice replied that he had asked if it was Geo's right to be shown on a specific number. On this, the legal counsel for Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman said there is a law about it and also a decision of the Lahore High Court. The chief justice recalled that they had earlier asked the counsel for Geo to file a separate petition on the issue of blocking the Geo News transmission across the country. Any issues concerning Geo TV is "handled by the Deep State" and not the CJ of Pakiland
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by the chief justice and comprising Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsen, resumed the hearing in the case relating to payment of salaries to the Geo News employees. The court on the request of Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman constituted a five-member committee headed by Hamid Mir with the direction that the committee should give its report within three days. In pursuance of the court directions, Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman appeared before the court and apologised for not appearing in the last hearing, adding it was his honour to come to the court when he is called. He submitted that he is quite worried on delay in the payment of salaries to the Geo staff. He said it was his responsibility to pay to his employees. However, he contended there are some reasons for it and he can explain to the court in detail. The chief justice replied that they were sitting here to resolve the issue of non-payment of salaries to his employees on humanitarian grounds. “You are running a big organisation and being an owner of such a huge organisation, you should show some magnanimity and become a role model for other organisations to follow,” the chief justice asked Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. A Supreme Court Judge "preaching business ethics to newspaper owner". In any other country, this would not have been considered normal
Meanwhile, Justice Saqib Nisar asked the court assistant to remove the projector screen, arranged in the courtroom, saying they wanted to show something to Mir Sahab but now they will not do so. “Love begets love,” the chief justice remarked, and said the show something to Mir Sahab but now they will not do so. IMO, this My Laard is on an ego trip to "fix Pakistan's many problems", in a few weeks !
The chief justice observed that loss in business does not mean that employees be deprived of their due right of their salaries, adding that how the employees will manage house expenditures and how they will pay fees of their children, and how they will pay the fees of doctors. “You are like Kafeel and it is the responsibility of every Kafeel to protect the right of his staff,” the CJ said. Islamic jurisprudence
“I have consulted my management and taken a bank loan and trying my best to resolve the issue,” Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman told the court, adding that they have almost made 78 percent payment and sought some of three months to resolve the issue. My Laard should get it in writing, before Mir comes up with another excuse, not to pay
The chief justice observed as to how the children of these employees will manage. Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman submitted that when there is no income, how he will be able to pay staff salaries. “Our position is such that someone ( Deep State  ) is looting us on gun point,” Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman said.
The chief justice asked as to where the transmission of Geo was blocked. “If you are not violating the law then nobody could stop your channel from airing as you have a licence and no - except the Deep State - force can block your organisation,” Justice Saqib Nisar remarked.
The chief justice asked Hamid Mir to play his role and a committee can be constituted under him. Hamid Mir replied that neither he is a regular employee, nor part of management of Geo TV. “But you told us that it’s a big organisation,” the CJP told Hamid Mir. For a "Chief Justice", he likes to put his foot in his mouth,( like fellow Pakjabi, Khawaja Asif ) quite regularly . Has he not been "trained" as a lawyer, to chose his words very carefully.
Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman said the big organisation remained blocked repeatedly and requested the chief justice to take suo motu notice on this. At this, the CJ said that he has stopped taking suo motu notices after criticism by the media, adding that the Pakistan Bar Council has also criticised it.
“Now the Bar Council as well as social workers have been directed to bring petitions and the court will hear them,” CJ said. During the hearing, a former employee of Jang Group Azeem Chaudhry also appeared before the court and complained of non-payment of salaries. The chief justice asked him to approach Hamid Mir to resolve his problem. Passing the buck to Hamid Mir and placing him in an awkward position . And this is the CHIEF JUSTICE OF PAKILAND !!!

RELATED NEWS ON THAT CJ OF PAKILAND WHO IS ON A EGO TRIP !!!

CJ says won't take salary until PWD employees get theirs

If he suddenly becomes "thirsty and hungry", he will always be able to "drink at the public trough" without any problem . But what about the "poor PWD employees" . Another example of "foot in mouth" disease that this "My Laard" is suffering from

ANOTHER SUO MOTO . THIS TIME THERE IS AN = = ANGLE

3. Coming Up Shortly ! Pakiland First Blind Judge . Because India Already Has Two

The News impact: CJP Nisar takes notice of blind lawyer’s plea who dreamt of becoming judge
...Richard Bernstein is a judge of the Michigan Supreme Court; T Chakkaravarthy is a judge in Tamil Nadu (India); and Brahmananda Sharma is a civil judge in Ajmer District (India), among others.

BRF should consider having a separate THREAD on this Paki My Laard :D

Pakistan, Russia 'keen to expand military ties'
https://tribune.com.pk/story/1694209/1- ... operation/
SLAMABAD: Russia on Tuesday said Pakistan is a ‘geo-strategically important’ country and “it is keen to expand its existing military-to-military cooperation” in a significant development at a time when Islamabad’s relationship with Washington continues to deteriorate. The Russian offer to expand defence and security ties with Pakistan came during Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s visit to Moscow.Gen Bajwa held talks with Colonel General Oleg Salyukov, Commander Russian Federation Ground Forces, at Kremlin Palace.“Upon arrival the COAS was presented guard of honour who laid wreath at the Tomb of unknown soldier. National anthems of both countries were played,” said a handout issued by the military’s media wing here. The notable outcome of the meeting was the acknowledgement by the top Russian military commander for Pakistan’s achievement in the fight against terrorism and contribution for regional peace and stability. This was in contrast to the US’ position which since Trump came to the White House has repeatedly accused Pakistan for not doing enough. While Washington appears to have down played Pakistan’s critical role, Russia thinks otherwise.“Pakistan is a geo-strategically important country and Russia is keen to expand its existing bilateral military to military cooperation,” the Russian Ground Forces Commander said.Gen Bajwa thanked General Oleg and said that Pakistan reciprocates desire of enhanced bilateral military engagements. He said that Russia had recently played a positive role to help resolve complex situations in the region.
He said Pakistan will continue to play its part in keeping conflicts away from the region and “seek approaches which bring regional convergences into play rather than the divergences”.
Russia was one of the first countries, which publically expressed its solidarity with Pakistan after President Donald Trump unveiled a new strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia.Trump accused Pakistan of supporting and harbouring the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani network. He threatened Pakistan to change that approach or face consequences.Russia along with China, however, came to Pakistan’s help by suggesting that shifting the blame on Pakistan would destabilise the region and would have negative impact on Afghan security.

In The Name Of So- Called National Security , Pakis Are Going To Be Deprived Of Their Favourite Biryani, Nihari And Sea Food !

Are Karachi famous sea side restaurants "Do Darya" being closed by authorities?
April 24, 2018
KARACHI - Citizens not only from Karachi rather from entire Pakistan were left with shock and awe over the news of closure of famous Karachi sea side restaurants popularly known as "Do Darya".
All the restaurant located at Karachi 's Do Darya shoreline along the Arabian Sea are expected to be shut down in June, according to reports circulating on the social media.
People are discussing the reports, and most of them are disappointed with the authorities' reported decision to shut the restaurants down.
Restaurants are being closed since an agreement between the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and the owners of the restaurants is going to expire. The DHA, is an "arm" of the Deep State. So, there is the obvious danger of some RAA agents coming into the restaurants , posing as "regular customers" and then "secretly shooting ie photographing " the arrival and departure of Chini warships and Paki naval vessels and nuclear armed submarines, which are Pakistan's second level of defense against an unexpected Indian nuclear first strike. From that angle, the closure of the popular restaurant strip makes sense . Or the second alternative is that the mil-bus complex of Pakistan ( As Ayesha Siddiqa has commented ) has decided to muscle itself into the restaurant business to augment their revenue base. They have already monopolized the Krachi Bakhra Eid Cattle Market business
However this was not the first time Karachiite heard the news about the closure of the strip.
According to an agreement reached between by both the parties, June 7th is the deadline. The other possibility ( most likely ) is that they are going to jack up the lease rent quite a bit and squeeze the civilians . So, the nihari and the biryani is going to cost more !
A Twitter user from Khyber Paktunkhwa called the reports of the closure of the restaurants as shocking, recalling a trip to the food strip for a dinner with his family members. IMO, it the RAPE class that is going to be hit ! The Aam Abduls are happy with their dal-chawal or dal roti

Pakis Bill Themselves As "Big Players" In The World Trade

Will US China trade war hit Pakistan?
April 24, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s economy is least integrated in the global value chain and hence, will not suffer significantly from the recent US-China trade war in the short-term. But , in my opinion, it will be "squeezed" both ways . Paki exports to Massaland will "attract" duties to protect domestic suppliers ( POTUS's new focus !) and imports from Massa are going to cost more . Import and Export from and by Chini fliend - thanks to CPEC and Pakis now into Chini orbit - will remain unaffected, IMO !

Dar, The Fraudster, And Ganja' s "Financial Advisor" , Laughing All The Way To His (London ) Bank

‘Where is Ishaq Dar?’ Supreme Court summons ex-finance minister on May 8
ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned former finance minister Ishaq Dar, assuring protective bail on his return. Ishaq- Fraudster - Dar has still lots of time to buy a PIA ticket and fly to Isloo, executive class ( because of his "heart problems" )
“Where is Ishaq Dar? You can bring him here today or tomorrow. We had issued orders summoning Dar,” the CJP remarked. (the thundering CJP in the pin-drop silent Isloo Court :D )[/color]
!
Dar’s legal counsel Advocate Salman Aslam Butt responded that Dar was seeking medical treatment in London. Hearing this, the CJP remarked ( so many cases, so many venues for this hyper active CJP  ) that a sickness cannot last this long. ( and shooting off his mouth like an uneducated Aam Abdul, instead of choosing his words carefully begetting a CJP !)
The CJP observed that Dar recently held a meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in London, adding that the former finance minister should come to Pakistan to face cases. He stated that warrants will be issued against Dar if he doesn’t appear before the courts. The case has been adjourned until May 8. The CJP has made it his personal mission to demonize Ganja and his extended family (includes Dar !) on the orders of the Deep State .
Dar has been out of the country since October last year on account of his medical treatment. He has since been declared a proclaimed offender in the corruption case filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau. Hope some Immy supporter in London snaps a photu of him , shopping at Harrod's and sends the same, via social media, to"My Laard Saquib" as "evidence of his heart problem illness"

That US Diplo, Involved In The Accident Now "Upgraded To Black List" By Paki Government.

US diplomat placed on 'blacklist' for killing Islamabad motorcyclist
The Express Tribune
ISLAMABAD:
The Ministry of Interior on Tuesday placed the name of US diplomat Colonel Joseph Emmanuel Hall on the blacklist, prohibiting the US defence and air attache from leaving the country. The revelation came during a hearing at Islamabad High Court (IHC) after a petition was filed by the father of the deceased. IMO, the Defence Attache will be free to leave this "accursed country" once blood money is paid to the victim's family as per Paki Sharia Law. As of date, Massa has refused to plead guilty or pay , what is essentially a "ransom payment"
Representing government, Deputy Attorney General Raja Khalid Mehmood informed the court that the interior ministry had placed the US official’s name in the “black list”.Explaining the term, he said his name was not added to the Exit Control List (ECL) as it was a lengthy process while the black list serves the same purpose but is a simpler process where the Secretary of Interior is competent authority to take the decisive step. Speaking to The Express Tribune, Mehmood said if required the suspect’s name will be added to the ECL.
During the hearing, Mehmood said since the Vienna Convention granted Joseph diplomatic immunity, authorities in Pakistan could not arrest, detain or prosecute him. However, the suspect could be investigated. He added that if the US decides to take up the case, the suspect could stand trial and/ or court martial in his home country. However, if the diplomatic immunity is recalled by the Americans, Joseph can be prosecuted in Pakistan.
The victim’s father, Muhammad Idrees, filed a petition in the IHC seeking different directions for the respondents. A security guard at the Islamabad Model College for Girls in Saidpur, Idrees is also the complainant in FIR No 168/2018 against the American diplomat at the Kohsar police station. Surprised that the victim's extended family has not yet "requested a US Vijja from Massa" to drop the case

"Deep State" Instigates Their Proxy - Afghan Taliban Against PTM Movement

In a first, Afghan Taliban clash with rally against support of Pashtun Tahaafuz Movement PTM
SHARANA - A physical clash broke out between Afghan Taliban and displaced tribesmen in Barmal district of southeastern Pakika province Monday. The displaced persons wanted to erect a peace tent in support of a nascent Pasthun protection movement in neighboring Pakistan in Laman area of Barmal district, but local Taliban gunmen stopped them from doing so. In many parts of Pashtun Afghanistan, the The Taliban is in effect the de facto Govt there !
An elder of the refugees, Haji Qudratullah from the Wazir tribe, said some 2,000 families from south and north Waziristan of Pakistan lived in Barmal since fleeing a military operation in the region. He said the refugees wanted to hold a peaceful protest in support of the Pashtun movement in Pakistan, but local Taliban intercepted them, leading to a clash between the sided.
He said four protesting people and two Taliban men were wounded in the clash and the rally did not took place.
Another participant, Issa Khan, said the Taliban did not allow them to hold the rally, but they would emerge again even at the cost of their lives to raise their voice for the movement. The incident happens a day after the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) held a rally in Lahore. The hand of the Deep State cannot be ruled out !

Some "recorded vibrations" from Jahil Hamid Re. His incarceration In Saudia

Vibration # 1. I see people taunting me everyday that I was arrested by the Saudis & kept in maximum security prisons notorious for torture.
But for me, it is the most honorable badge that I wear today...I suffered because I stopped Pak army from joining this genocide.
Grateful to God for it.
Vibration # 2.
Saudis arrested me on charges of being an Iranian spy....the "evidence" they had against me was my picture with Ahmedinejad & my TV prog were I had fiercely opposed Pak's involvement in Yemen war. Enough to make me an Irani "spy"..same charges on which Nimr was beheaded...
The pic with Ahmed , which "did it in" for Jahil
Image

Vibration # 3.
It was after 3 weeks of intense investigation, interrogation & analysis (plus some sxual torture  ) they found out my real status in Pakistan & that I am not an Iranian spy but have influence on security issues in Pak. Then they started to negotiate. My release for Pak army to Yemen!! I rejected this deal ( I am a Paki patriot. I am not available for "sale" )

Vibration # 4.
Finally, after 4 months of frustrated & failed negotiations to seek my support for their Yemeni war as a condition for my release, they decided to release me unconditionally for fears that they were getting extremely negative vibes from patriots (obviously unnamed  ) in Pak. I still oppose this war! ( he means the Saudia - Yemen tiff ! )

Vibration # 5.
( Sir Jahil, shitting in his pants here !)
Thats a different story that while I was incarcerated, Indian RAW desperately tried to get me extradited to India...no less than Indian FM herself came with powerful delegation to demand me from Saudis. There was real danger of this as Nawaz Govt has disowned me totally..
The "evidence" to support his above " case " :D

Image

FINALLY "SIR JAHIL" CLEARS THE AIR . BUT ARE THE SAUDIS STILL WILLING TO GIVE HIM VIJJA FOR "SMALL" AND "BIG" HAJJ

Rupee Falls to An All Time Low Against US Dollar :D

Posted 13 hours ago by Jehangir Nasir
After the government confirmed that there was no further need to depreciate the value of rupee, the local currency has once again started falling against the US dollar.
Rupee slumped to an all-time low of 118.30 against the dollar in the open market on Monday, surging the gap between the official and kerb market’s rates to Rs 2.69/dollar.
Recently, Adviser to PM on Finance Miftah Ismail also claimed that Pakistan does not see any further devaluation of rupee in the near future. However, the market situation is acting completely opposite to the claim of the adviser. Market does not listen to the dictates lies of the "Advisor to PM"
Currency dealers said that the rupee remained under pressure fuelled by a shortage of the greenback in the market.
Experts said that the rupee is still flat against dollar in the inter-bank market but the local currency failed to keep its level versus the dollar in the open market because of strong demand.Meanwhile, SBP officials said the difference between the open market and interbank rates for the US dollar should not widen. They added that the central bank will intervene when there is a shortage of dollars in the market.

Pakis Say That They Got "A Damn Good Deal" On Those Russian Helos

Inexpensive deal: Pakistan Army's new war machines
April 25, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Earlier this month, *Quwa <link>*reported that the Pakistan Army Aviation (PAA) had begun receiving the Russian built-Mi-35M attack helicopters. The purchase of four attack helicopters, costing $153 million, ( onlee !) may not seem enough but it symbolises Pakistan’s desire to maintain a robust arsenal and avoid reliance on a single source for arms imports. Maybe, at $ 153 Million it was a damn good deal. Maybe, the Russis had an "inventory clearance sale" and the Pakis grabbed the chance. ( Massa would have charged them double because of the "Capitalist System" . But the "superior" Massa product was not available to the Pakis as they had "maxed out their "Bank Of America Credit Card" ). But lo and behold the seller ( Ruskies) agreed to arrange with "The Bank Of Russia" for a new Credit Card to be issued to the G.O. Pakiland , so they can "grab" this discounted deal. And the "Bank Of Russia" knows of the credit rating of the Pakis . It is an "open secret" in the world . No one is willing to "touch them with a ten foot pole " . They have come to the stage, where they are finding it hard even to make "monthly minimum payments" on all the various credit cards they have
At $ 153 million dollars, the relatively in-expensive deal can potentially allow the Pakistan Army to purchase more of the aircraft in batches. Even as the ink is not yet dry on this deal , now they are asking "The Bank Of Russia" to increase their credit card limit . And they have not yet even paid their first monthly minimum payment

PS: There are "persistent rumours" in the capital market that the Pakis are "shopping around" for a long term loan to convert their "credit card" debt into a long term mortgage loan/ loans , which will bring some financial relief to their sagging economy . In this context, they have approached The Bank Of America, The Bank Of Saudi Arabia and The Bank Of China for long term relief. Negotiations are in progress, even as this being written :  :

PPS: Many Financial Advisors have warned the Pakis that they are living beyond their means, and unless they control their impulse spending, specially on fancy brand new toys ( ie arms and ammunition ) just because their neighbour India has it. Keeping up with the Joneses syndrome . Is seems that they are headed for bankruptcy in the near future. The Pakis, due to nature, have refused to go for financial therapy and /or credit counseling. They say that they do not "believe in therapy" . They say that they believe in Allah
