Indian PM Modi congratulates Imran Khan on election victory
ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated PTI chairman Imran Khan for his party's victory in the parliamentary elections, Geo reported.According to sources, Modi made a telephone call to Imran Khan and congratulated him for his victory in the elections. Details to follow....

Right now, it is the "honeymoon period " . Not sure how long this is going to last . But Paki Awaam should rest assured that the Kaptaan and his Foreign Minister ( Qureishi or Jalebi ) will be front and centre with the "core issue" and/or the jugular vein of Pakiland ( code word for "Kashmir" )

The Saudis Also Pitch In With Their Share To Rescue Pakiland From The Intensive Care Unit

Saudi Arabia comes to Pakistan’s rescue with $1billion assistance
ISLAMABAD – Days after the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) activated its three-year $4.5-billion oil financing facility for Pakistan, which will give stability to rupee-dollar exchange rate in the interbank market that has largely remained under pressure, Saudi Arabia has announced Rs1b financial assistance for the Islamic republic as the latter is facing a severe strain on the external financing front.
The move, yet to be confirmed by the country’s Finance Ministry and the State Bank of Pakistan, comes a week after the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), the financing arm of the IDB for trade activities, rolled over a loan of $100 million. The Economic Affairs Division (EAD) secretary had signed the Letter of Amendment for the credit facility.
The Saudi Amb met Immy last week. Am sure that the issue of Pakistan being in I.C.U, (financially speaking :D ) MUST have been discussed . After all, the Saudis still are relying on Paki muscle and material ( the off shelf purchase of the Islami Bum !) to keep the corrupt Royals in power . So, this $ 1 Billion US offer, is a welcome show of support for the Kaptaan, who in the past had "bad mouthed" one of the 3.5 fathers of Pakiland.
The financing will help Pakistan meet energy requirements for the period from 2018 to 2020. It will allow the country to finance vital imports of crude oil and refined petroleum products.
So, here is another confirmation that Pakistan is living from hand to mouth !
Many analysts however expect Pakistan to turn to the International Monetary Fund for a bailout, which is expected to be in excess of $10 billion, according to local media reports. ( The IMF "auditors" will want full details of CPEC Agreement, including all secret clauses, before they part with a single dollar :D !) Finance ministry says Pakistan may receive $200 million in loan from Chinese commercial banks next week. Another commercial loan of $100 million is expected in the last week of August. The new financing arrangements with China and foreign commercial banks will give sufficient time to the PTI government for formalising its strategy in order to cope with the situation. However, the IMF programme seems inevitable.
The situation in the Middle East with reference to Saudi Arabia’s strategic moves will also determine the timing of the new IMF programme, according to independent analysts. Something brewing on the Yemen front ?

How to make sure that all these go down the drain? At some point even the Saudis and cheen have to realize that it's throwing good money after bad. Pakistan needs a good "civil" war.

Indian PM Modi congratulates Imran Khan on election victory
Recall in 2006 the dimwit felt "nauseated" when he shook hands with Modi.

Modi 'nauseated' Imran, but would Rajiv have, too?
A biography of Imran Khan, former Pakistani cricketer and politician, talks about how Khan was “nauseated” when he was suddenly asked to shake hands with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at a public event in 2006.
“When Imran saw Modi, a feeling of nausea hit him as he took his seat on the panel. It was overpowering and worsened when, to his dismay, he noticed Modi sprinting towards him… The Gujarat Chief Minister stood right in front of him, and Imran tried to look away, but Modi wasn’t deterred. He took Imran’s hands and shook them warmly….”
I hope Modi is reminded of this insult. I hope Indians are reminded of this insult.

And then this:

Modi-ji Phones And Chats With Imran. Luminaries Line Up To Meet The Kaptaan :D

Modi phones Imran Khan, says 'ready to enter new era of ties with Pakistan': PTI
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday telephoned Imran Khan, congratulating him over his party's victory in the general elections and conveying best wishes for Pakistan, the Central Media Department of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) said in a statement.
"We are ready to enter a new era of relations with Pakistan," Modi was quoted as saying by the PTI press release.
Immy is not official PM yet, therefore the PTI Media Dept is having a field day ! Bet, the "Premiere Institution" of Pakistan is "listening" as well . No doubt about it
According to the statement, Modi said both the countries should adopt a joint strategy for progress in bilateral ties. A statement issued by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs from New Delhi said Modi had spoken to Khan and "congratulated him for his party emerging as the largest political party in the National Assembly of Pakistan in the recently conducted general elections." "Prime Minister [Modi] expressed hope that democracy will take deeper roots in Pakistan," the statement quoted Modi as saying.Modi also reiterated his "vision of peace and development in the entire neighbourhood" during his conversation with Khan.According to the PTI statement, Khan thanked the Indian prime minister for his good wishes. "The solution to conflicts should be found through dialogue," he was quoted as telling Modi.
The protocol and niceties of diplomacy must be followed . Hope, Imran does not revert to " old form" later on and begin bad -mouthing Modi-ji , as he has done in the past. !
"Instead of answers to conflicts, wars and bloodbath give birth to tragedies," the PTI chief said, according to the press release.Khan said the two governments should devise a joint plan of action to free people of both countries from the cruel trap of poverty.
Also on Monday, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Imran Khan at his Banigala residence and congratulated him on behalf of the Chinese government and Communist Party on success in the recently-held general elections.
According to a statement issued by the party, both the dignitaries discussed topics of mutual interest as the Chinese envoy ensured continuity in cooperation with Pakistan in the fields of economy, trade and international relations.
In "honour" of Immy elected as PM, the Chinese Govt has announced another injection of liquidity in Paki coffers. Could be on Imran's specific request for the same .
Imran Khan thanked the Chinese envoy and said Pakistan would want to benefit from the Chinese government’s experience in getting rid of poverty and unemployment.
Last week, Saudi envoy retired Vice Admiral Hasham Bin Siddique had called on Imran Khan at his residence and congratulated him on his party's success.
Saudi Amb also came in "bearing news of gift" . Bartania and Amreeka need to do the same . After all, they are also listed as among the 3.5 fathers of Pakiland

PTI claims it has numbers to form govt at Centre, Punjab
Image
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has claimed that it has the support of a sufficient number of lawmakers to form governments in both the Centre and Punjab.
PTI Party appears to be on a roll ! No doubt the momentum is with the Kaptaan and His Tehreek E- Insaf Party ( catchy name , bull-shit game  ). PTI and Imran should not claim sole credit for this unachievable feet ( as they are doing now !) Credit should also be given, where credit is due ( Premiere Institution  )

While Imran And PTI Celebrate .....Something Smells Fishy In This Report And Makes One Wonder About The Whole Election Exercise

Rejected votes exceed victory margin in many constituencies
Iftikhar A. Khan | Ramsha Jahangir
Updated July 30, 2018
PROVISONAL results released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on its website indicate that the number of rejected votes was significantly higher in at least 30 National Assembly constituencies, with most of them having the number of rejected ballots greater than the margin of victory.
Well, this was one way of ensuring The Khan's victory . :D
Under the Elections Act, 2017, there are stronger requirements for recounts. The returning officer shall recount the ballot papers of one or more polling stations if a request or challenge in writing is made by a contesting candidate or his election agent and the margin of victory is less than five per cent of the total votes polled in the constituency or 10,000 votes, whichever is less. The recount can be made only once.If there is a difference between the Results of the Count (Form 47) received from the presiding officers and the results of the recount, the RO shall record the difference and details.
Imran is already "celebrating" his and his party's status as winner. Unless a mass agitation happens, nothing can stop him and his Party from "ruling" Pakistan !

For global citizen Cynthia, Pakistan’s an “adventurers’ heaven”
When it comes to Pakistan, it won’t be wrong to say that the western media in the context of entirety takes a one-dimensional view of this exotic country.
For Cynthia, Pakistan is so much more than a tourist destination — it is an “adventurers' heaven”, she fondly calls the country her ‘second home’.
She says that having traveled to Pakistan since 2010 and having lived here for three years
She started her own non-profit with a focus on media projects and wishes to eventually permanently relocate to the Middle East/ South Asia.
When coming to describing the picturesque beauty of Pakistan, Cynthia is all praises.
She also aims to project softer image of Pakistan, which is visible through her narratives.

Hockey players refuse to play in Asian Games if 6 months' allowances not paid
Players of the Pakistan hockey team on Monday threatened to boycott next month's Asian Games — also known as Asiad — if their daily allowances from the last six months are not paid
He said none of the players had been paid their daily allowances for last six months, which total more than Rs0.8 million per player.
In another video, Rizwan Sr. said it had been six months since the players were paid their domestic or international dues.

Didn't Immy call upon PM Modi during his last visit to India a couple of years ago? Also he begged for resumption of cricketing ties and PM only smiled in reply.

Quite a turnaround for a man who claimed to be nauseated by a handshake.

PS: IMHO, this "young chap" , ( Ali Jehangir Siddiqui) without an iota of diplomatic experience ( Cornell Unv) is Ex PM Abbasi's man sent to the White House . ( Business Partner and/ or relative !) He is going to be a "goner" and the "first casualty" , as soon as the New Immy Regime , gets its bearings on the job . ! There were rumours that he is, as other Paki businessmen, corrupt to the core . Would not be surprised if corruption charges are slapped down against him . Massa is just following diplomatic protocol by "welcoming" him at the Pentagon.

PS: He can "try" for political assylum. Doubt that POTUS and Co will oblige him in this present atmosphere

Irony of Ironies ! Who Is Now Going To Take Care Of The V.I.P Patient ! Something Does Not "Smell Right" In This Disturbing Report !

Nawaz Sharif’s doctor suffers cardiac arrest, hospitalised along with former PM
30 Jul, 2018
POSTED IN FULL !
ISLAMABAD – The doctor who was treating Pakistan’s former prime minister at a hospital in the federal capital has been admitted in the same ward following a cardiac arrest on Sunday night.
Jailed ex-PM Nawaz Sharif was admitted to the country’s top hospital on Sunday after his health deteriorated due to heart trouble in the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
Hours later, Dr Ejaz Qadeer suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), in Islamabad
Hospital sources say he is a heart patient and has undergone heart surgery before.
Dr Ejaz Qadeer was leading a team of doctors comprising cardiologist Dr Naeem Malik, Medical Specialist Dr Shaji Siddiqui, neurologist Dr Sohail Tanvir and Dr Mashood, who carried out medical checkup of Sharif after he complained of chest pain.
The condition of Sharif, 68, is said to be stable, according to hospital official. The three-time Pakistan premier is serving a 10-year jail term in a corruption case over his family’s purchase of luxury apartments in London. He has been lodged in the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi since 13 July.
The decision to shift Sharif to PIMS in Islamabad was taken by the Punjab government which has administrative control of the Adiala jail after a team of doctors recommended that Sharif needed proper medication and care as he has been suffering from acute pain in both his arms, likely due to lack of adequate blood circulation.
Doctors had advised Sharif’s transfer to hospital after an electrocardiogram had shown “variations”, Punjab home minister Shaukat Javed was quoted as saying by the state-run PTV.
Doctors conducted a check-up of Sharif after he complained of chest pain and advised that he immediately be shifted to a coronary care unit (CCU) of the PIMS in Islamabad. Last week, it was reported that Sharif is on the verge of having a kidney failure. Doctors recommended shifting him to a hospital immediately.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo has diabetes and underwent bypass surgery in 2016. He currently takes medication for his heart condition, cholesterol and diabetes.
Last week, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif wrote a letter to caretaker Punjab government seeking better facilities for him at Adiala Jail.
Imran should bring forward the date ( August 11) of his inauguration, otherwise he is going to have a major, major problem on his hand . Cannot rule out a general uprising in Pakjab if "Nawaz goes under ".

On a more serious note, the Paki Govt or whoever is ruling Pakistan these days should hang their head , the way they have treated an Ex Prime Minister - no matter how corrupt he may have been - by denying him proper medical treatment for his underlying health problems . Why cannot the Chinese Govt or the Saudi Arabian Monarch ( or even the Bad Sharif for that matter !) exert some sort of pressure for humanitarian reasons. Another ZA Bhutto situation ?

Paki Opposition Unites Against Imran Khan And His Party !

PPP, PML-N join hands to give Imran tough time

July 30, 2018
Image
Diesel back in form
ISLAMABAD: The country’s two major parties — Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party — are set to play an ARD-like opposition role in parliament as they have agreed on formulation of a “coordinated joint strategy”, if the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf manages to form its government at the Centre.
The broad-based understanding on cooperation was reached during the first direct meeting between the leaders of the PML-N and PPP after the July 25 general elections here on Sunday.“It was an ice-breaker,” said PML-N’s Mushahid Hussain Sayed, when asked about the outcome of the meeting held at the residence of former National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
“It was a very good meeting and you can call it a meeting of the minds,” the PML-N leader said, adding that there was complete unanimity of views between the two parties that the “July 25 elections have been stolen”.
This guy ( Mushahid ) is well known for switching sides !
He said both sides were of the view that they should “completely reject” the election results and should adopt “a coordinated joint opposition strategy” to give a tough time to the Imran Khan-led PTI government while staying inside parliament.
He said the two parties would meet again on Monday as the PML-N had told the PPP representatives that it would inform them about its decision on a proposal of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) to boycott parliament. He said the PPP delegation had informed the PML-N that they were not in favour of boycotting parliament.
While they are at it, they should also ask for good medical treatment for Ganja !
The PPP delegation comprised Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Farhatullah Babar while the PML-N side was represented by Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Ayaz Sadiq, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan. Later, the PPP delegation also held talks with Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and tried to persuade him to reverse his decision of boycotting parliament.
Talking to Dawn, Sherry Rehman said they had urged the Maulana not to boycott parliament because by “vacating the space we will be providing a walkover” to the PTI. She said the parties had had a bad experience of boycotting the elections or parliament in the past, adding that the PPP had even questioned the credibility of the 2013 elections and the party leadership had dubbed them “RO elections”, yet they had participated fully in the parliamentary proceedings to strengthen democracy.“We are very clear that democratic forces while condemning the polls have all the rights to sit on the seats for which they had fought very hard,” she said.In reply to a question, Ms Rehman said consultations among the parties would continue and they were expected to have more sessions.
Boycott should send a clear message to the new ruling party, IMO !
Sources in the PPP and PML-N told Dawn that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who also heads the MMA, had shown flexibility and might reverse the decision taken at a multi-party conference to boycott the oath-taking session of parliament. They said the Maulana had suggested that they should jointly field candidates for the parliamentary offices and make every effort to prevent the PTI from forming its government at the Centre.
Imran with the help of the Deep State would (i) engineer defections from the opposition parties (ii) bribe, intimidate or do whatever to get the independents on his side , so he gets the required majority, which he claims he has got !
Since the MMA has 12 seats, the combined seats of the PPP, PML-N and MMA become 117 — two more than the PTI’s number of seats. The sources said that a joint meeting of the leaders of the three parties was also expected to be held on Monday (today).
Last time it was after the 2002 elections when the PPP and PML-N had forged an anti-government alliance — Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) — under Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan. The MMA was another opposition alliance in parliament at that time. The members of the ARD and MMA had given a tough time to the military government of Gen Pervez Musharraf who had picked Zafarullah Jamali as the prime minister. Over 100 members of the two alliances kept parliament non-functional for a record almost one year through noisy protest against the Legal Framework Order of the military regime, forcing the government to hold talks with the opposition.
The issue was resolved when the MMA entered into an agreement with the military-led civilian regime and parliament approved the controversial 17th Constitution Amendment giving indemnity to the acts of Gen Musharraf, including the amendments he had made to the Constitution.Political analysts and experts believe that the new parliament will be a reflection of the 2002 assembly when the government had to face a tough opposition in the form of the ARD and MMA.
Doubt that the "experienced Maulana Diesel" would like to share the same bed with Imran Khan . There is no love lost between the Deobandi Pashtun (Fazl) and the Newly Converted Sufist ( Imran ). Diesel has gone so far as labeling the Kaptaan as a Zionist and Jewish Agent ( just because his ex wife Jemima happens to be of Jewish origin  )

Building dams not judges’ job, says CJP
1
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has said it is not the judiciary’s job to build water reservoirs in the country, and that it is the responsibility of the executive.

His comments came weeks after he had initiated the donation fund for the Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams. The CJP said that the apex court could only maintain a supervisory role — concerning the collection of funds for such special projects — in the name of transparency.
Suar Motor Nisar has started the downhill skiing. Sure, this guy will walk away with all the 'donations'.

Imran Khan's PTI considering inviting Modi for his oath ceremony - PTI
Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf is considering inviting the leaders of the SAARC countries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his oath taking ceremony as the premier next month, a party official said today.

The PTI, led by 65-year-old Khan, has emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly after the July 25 elections, but it is still short of numbers to form the government on its own. Khan yesterday said that he would take oath as prime minister on August 11.

"The core committee of Tehreek-i-Insaf is considering inviting the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) heads including Mr Modi and a decision on this is expected shortly,"
a leader of Khan's party told PTI.

He also termed Modi's telephone call to Khan on his victory in the 2018 polls a welcoming sign to begin a new chapter in relations between the two countries.

Spokesperson for Khan's party Fawad Chaudhry also did not rule out inviting Modi to the swearing in ceremony.

"A decision about it will be taken by the party in consultation with the foreign ministry in coming days," he said.

Modi yesterday telephoned Khan to congratulate him on his party's victory in the general elections and hoped that "Pakistan and India will work to open a new chapter in bilateral ties".

Khan thanked Modi for his wishes and emphasised that disputes should be resolved through dialogue.

"Wars and bloodshed instead of resolving disputes lead to tragedies," Khan had said.

Make no mistake’: Pakistan can’t use IMF bailout to pay off its China debts, warns US

Mike Pompeo said the US looked forward to engagement with the government of Pakistan’s expected new prime minister, Imran Khan, but said there was “no rationale” for a bailout that pays off Chinese loans to Pakistan.

US secretary of state Mike Pompeo warned on Monday that any potential International Monetary Fund bailout for Pakistan’s new government should not provide funds to pay off Chinese lenders.

In an interview with CNBC television, Pompeo said the United States looked forward to engagement with the government of Pakistan’s expected new prime minister, Imran Khan, but said there was “no rationale” for a bailout that pays off Chinese loans to Pakistan.

“Make no mistake. We will be watching what the IMF does,” Pompeo said. “There’s no rationale for IMF tax dollars, and associated with that American dollars that are part of the IMF funding, for those to go to bail out Chinese bondholders or China itself,” Pompeo said.

The Financial Times reported on Sunday that senior Pakistani finance officials were drawing up options for Khan to seek an IMF bailout of up to $12 billion.

An IMF spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that we have so far not received a request for a Fund arrangement from Pakistan and that we have not had discussions with the authorities about any possible intentions.”

Pakistan is struggling to avert a currency crisis that has presented the new government with its biggest challenge. Many analysts and business leaders expect that another IMF bailout, the second in five years, will be needed to plug an external financing gap.

Pakistan, which already has around $5 billion in loans from China and its banks to fund major infrastructure projects, had sought another $1 billion in loans to stabilise its plummeting foreign currency reserves.

Officials in the Trump administration, including U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, have criticized China’s infrastructure lending to developing countries, arguing that this has saddled them with unsustainable debt.

The $57 China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a series of port and rail improvements associated with China’s One Belt One Road infrastructure push, has led to massive imports of Chinese equipment and materials, swelling Pakistan’s current account deficit.

Pakistan has had 14 IMF financing programs since 1980, according to fund data, including a $6.7 billion three-year loan programme in 2013.

Saar,

Pompeo's statement serves the very same purpose of the "cigar cases and huge tubs of KY jelly" as described in reham khan's book about her husband's "proclivities".

Both have rear ended the great khan.

Additionally, Pompeo has successfully rear ended china too and dashed their hopes of a quick recovery of their recent emergency financing of the pakis.

X Posted from the Pakistan Economic Stress Watch thread.
US and the World will be right to keep close watch on the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan if the approach the IMF begging for a bailout. Just today news of fraudulent diversion of funds of a Multilateral Organization by the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan by has come in. Audit of World Bank borrowings by World Bank affiliate, Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), has led to “apprehensions that the money was simply used to enhance foreign exchange reserves and finance the budget”.

World Bank is not the first multi-lateral organisation victim of shenanigans of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan. IMF has also been a victim back in the very late 90’s.

Today’s news of diversion of fraudulent World Bank funds:

World Bank’s policy loans worth $900m fail to achieve goals

IMF Press release of April 28, 2000 regards “misreporting of fiscal data to the IMF between 1997 and 1999”:

IMF NEWS BRIEF NO. 00/23 : IMF Executive Board Reviews Pakistan Misreporting, Remedial Steps

All the above without getting into “exaggeration and inflation” reported by NYT about the US getting swindled out of Coalition Support Funds (CSF) by Munna Major Non ANATO Ally, the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
U.S. Officials See Waste in Billions Sent to Pakistan

By DAVID ROHDE, CARLOTTA GALL, ERIC SCHMITT and DAVID E. SANGERDEC. 24, 2007 …..

In interviews in Islamabad and Washington, Bush administration and military officials said they believed that much of the American money was not making its way to frontline Pakistani units. Money has been diverted to help finance weapons systems designed to counter India, not Al Qaeda or the Taliban, the officials said, adding that the United States has paid tens of millions of dollars in inflated Pakistani reimbursement claims for fuel, ammunition and other costs.

Saar,

More than ever now, they desperately need Modi's blessings for the forthcoming SAARC meeting in pakiland.

The PA is desperately pushing for "trade" with India as a means of earning quick bucks.

Pakistan is also aggressively seeking support from smaller South Asian nations to host the 20th SAARC summit in Islamabad. SL and nepal have already announced their support for this but crucially, India's OK is needed.

Another boycott by India will sink the paki prestige in the eyes of china and also all others in the region thus putting IK on the back foot, at the very start of his proxy "reign" as the puppet.

IMF Funding Capital comes from its member countries ( India is a founding member since 1945) . Members pay their Quota to the Institution ( IMF) based on their relative standing in the world economy , and when need arises, they draw their rights to help their economy . Pakis are "regular customers ", due to their Pakistaniyat  Due to the rising economic status of India, am pretty sure that the GOI is contributing a hefty share of the capital reserves to IMF. to help member countries . So, Pakistan is indirectly using Indian monies to bail themselves out ,!!! Need to get this publicized ASAP, IMHO !!!

THIS Should Not Be Happening To An Ex Prime Minister Of Pakistan !

No one allowed to meet Nawaz at Pims
July 31, 2018
ISLAMABAD: A number of personalities, including former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Shahbaz Sharif, tried to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the cardiac centre of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) since he was shifted to the hospital on Sunday night, but they were not allowed.
“We have nothing to do with it as the second floor of the cardiac centre, where Mr Sharif is under treatment, has been declared a sub-jail. People need to take permission from the jail administration if they want to meet Mr Sharif,” Pims executive director Dr Raja Amjad said while talking to Dawn. Moreover, Pims deputy executive director Dr Zulfiqar Ghouri said Mr Sharif was not willing to be shifted to the hospital, adding that even after having been admitted he had been insisting that he be shifted back to the jail.
A large number of PML-N leaders and workers were present when Mr Sharif was shifted to Pims on Sunday night. They wanted to see their party’s supreme leader, but he was taken to the hospital from a separate entrance.
Whatever the political differences may be, this is not how a former prime minister of a country should be treated. Denied proper medical treatment in jail due to his pre -conditions . And now the consequences are there for all to see. He may be literally fighting for his life , who knows ! It will indeed be a nightmare for the Kaptaan, if "something" happens to Ganja ! The Deep State authorities are "experts" when it comes to humiliating their elected PMs. Z.A.Bhutto was reduced to a skeleton in jail. When he asked for water to quench his thirst , he was provided a thermos flask of hot boiling water . !!!
Just after that, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman reached Pims and sought to meet Mr Sharif, but he was not allowed. Similarly, a number of personalities also tried on Monday, but failed.
Strict security arrangements were made when the Pims management learnt that Shahbaz Sharif would meet his brother, but he was also not allowed.
A notification issued by the Islamabad district administration, and available with Dawn, states: “In exercise of the powers under Section 541 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1860, the Chief Commissioner has declared the premises of Private Ward, Cardiac Centre, Pims, as sub-jail for keeping Mian Nawaz Sharif, convicted prisoner in NAB case, with immediate effect and till the retention of the prisoner in Pims. The security will be provided by the Islamabad police.”On Monday morning, Mr Sharif’s ECG, diabetes, blood and urine tests were conducted. According to reports, available with Dawn, the test results were normal.
 Is there an independent verification of this !
Mr Sharif’s personal physician Dr Adnan also visited the hospital and checked him.Patients have been suffering as a large number of officials of law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been deputed at the hospital and the movement of patients and their attendants has been restricted.
Time for the world to seek intervention to make sure that his condition does not worsen due to lack of medical expertise etc etc

I'm the Dim wants to be the next "baba-e-qaum, Jr.". The significance of August 11 should not be lost. This is the date, 71 years ago, when the whiskey-swilling, pork-munching mass murderer gave a speech to the new constituent assembly calling for "equal rights to all" after inciting the massacre of Hindus and Sikhs in Calcutta and Punjab (Direct Action Day -16 August 1946).

Folks, do not be swayed by this.

US warns IMF against bailout for Pakistan
AFP
July 31, 2018

The Khan will have to tone down his anti- US rhetoric if he and his finance minister still want to go to IMF with the proverbial "begging bowl"
United States' Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has warned that the US would closely be watching whether the International Monetary Fund (IMF) bails out Pakistan — a key player in China's One Belt One Road (OBOR) project, and right now in need of a bailout."Make no mistake, we will be watching what the IMF does," Pompeo stated in an interview to CNBC after saying that he would welcome mutually beneficial engagement between the US and Pakistan."There's no rationale for IMF tax dollars — and associated with that, American dollars ( and dollars from India too !) that are part of the IMF funding — to bail out Chinese bondholders or China itself," he added, signifying that Pakistan's new government, which is severely in need of a bailout, might run into further financial troubles after taking oath.
Interesting times ahead !!!

And now this, in NayaBakistan! GayaBakistan!

New Zealand declines PCB's invitation to play T20 series in Pakistan
The New Zealand cricket board has declined the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) invitation to the Black Caps to play a three-match Twenty20 series in Pakistan, New Zealand's NewsHub service reported on Tuesday.
The PCB, however, had attempted to convince NZ Cricket to hold the T20s in Pakistan but the foreign cricket board declined, saying the "circumstances weren't right" for the team.
"At the end of the day, it came down to following the advisory and the security reports we'd obtained"
Ouch! Call the lankans, pronto.

chetak Ji :

Many thanks your for your two posts of 31 Jul 2018 15:47 & 31 Jul 2018 15:55

The First Post : I have added : 5) I'm the Dim will have the Temerity and Gall to BEG FOR MODI JI to Grant Ātaṅkavadīsthan Tens of Billions of US Dollars to get Ātaṅkavadīsthan out of their Economic and Financial Troubles.

I agree with you that the USA has finally – seemingly – taken a “Hard Stand” against the Ātaṅkavadīsthanis. As Confucius said “Better Late then Never for Never is Forever!”

Your Second Post : IMO Nepal and Sri Lanka are “Under Orders” from the Lizard. As such I still feel that India must boycott the SAARC Meeting and if India doesn’t then India must send a small fry to represent India. After all Mody Ji is very busy with his present commitments. BASTA!

India should learn from the “Hard Stand” being taken by the USA and tighten the clamps around I’m the Dim’s Neck.

This is BS rather than bailing out and putting US tax dollars in Jeopordy if US is serious, it must simply delay financing. The Saudis have aldready pitched USD 3.5 Billion. Saudis and China must be asked to foot the bill for the Paki miltary or Pakis can stop maintenance and fuel on militarily equipment to save costs.

Pakistan must focus on Leather indusrtries- tanneries must be placed as soon as Indus waters enter Paki territory, beef industry, generate maximum revenue from wood by cutting down all trees, Mining the soil, mountains- cut down on wasteful agricultural activities and other industrial activities.

This state of Paki exchange rate is why there has been a lull on the LOC.

This Paki Paper Has The Guts To Tell The Way It Is :D

US is Making Sure IMF Support to Pakistan Wouldn’t Benefit China

PS: India too is a relatively big contributor to IMF coffers , based on the "QUOTA" system , where member countries pay in their share depending on the relative strength of their economy as compared to other member countries . India is a perpetual contributor ( thanks to its booming economy ). Pakiland, on the other hand is a perpetual user , due to their "doomed economy" and of course, Pakistaniyat

Jahangir Tareen’s Hunt for Independents is the Latest Meme Craze in Pakistan
July 31, 2018
With the elections over, Pakistanis are being treated to some real-life Game of Thrones developments right now. All political parties, especially PTI, is hoping to muster the support of small parties and independent candidates to form the government in the center and Punjab. No one would have guessed that this may lay the grounds for the next big meme from Pakistan.
Jahangir Khan Tareen of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has become a runaway meme, as a result of his relentless search for independent candidates, any chance that he gets.It should be mentioned that Tareen is not a member of the assembly. However, he is still actively taking part to convince independent candidates to support PTI. Amid all the tussle between the biggest political parties to form the government, Twitter was flooded with Jahangir Tareen memes trying to gather political support.
PML, PPP, MMA Combine should ensure that none of the Independent MNA's migrate to PTI !
