Qureshi's Charges Against Krishna Draw Scorn In India
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's provocative remark on Friday that External Affairs Minister S M Krishna constantly received directions from New Delhi during their talks drew scorn and condemnation in the country. Qureshi's public comment, which appeared to question Krishna's authority, was also criticised for breach of protocol after he added another tense dimension to yesterday's talks which was billed as an initiative to build trust between the two neighbouring countries

visibly surprised Krishna, who like Qureshi also has a foreign law degree, himself said the dig by his counterpart was an "extraordinary statement to make" and asserted he did not take a call from anyone during the seven-hour parleys. Senior BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha said Qureshi does not deserve to be the foreign minister, not even a second secretary in the diplomatic mission, hours after the Pakistani minister's taunt against Krishna. "It was a breach of protocol," he said.

Qureshi's remark came a day after he attacked Home Secretary G K Pillai a tense final press conference between the ministers last night. One posting in the blogosphere said "Shah Mehmood Qureshi needs some classes in diplomacy." "Just because he was upset at being outclassed yesterday, he vented like this today," the blog said referring to Qureshi's jibe at Krishna at today's news conference. Prem Shankar Jha, a political commentator, turned the tables on Qureshi saying that in Pakistan the civilian administration gets instructions from the Army.

Mahesh, the CPEC committment by the Chinese is USD 65B. In addition, China also announced another USD 50B for Northern Cascades when Nawaz Sharif attended the BARF summit. Even assuming that the latter was more for the sake of publicity, 65B dollars is a lot of money for most countries, much less Pakistan. A shaving off a mere USD 2B out of 65B is a humbug. My suspicion is that Dummy has to live up to his pre-poll reputation of opposing the CPEC. After coming to power, and after briefing by the officials, he would have understood the bankruptcy of Terroristan. He would have also realized that opposing CPEC was simply not an option. He was caught in a nutcracker. So, now, he wants to do the usual clever-by-half of having the cake and eating it too. This is tango played by the threesome, PA, Dummy & China. But, in any case, it proves that the BRI has placed heavy burdens on unsuspecting countries and projects were included without viability considerations at the whims and fancies of the Chinese.

Pakistan adds insult to injury by using picture of RIK PROTESTORS AGAINST PAK TERROR to propogate fake narrative of human rights violation by India. The real violation is done by Pakistan itself by ensuring the ethnic cleansing of the aborigines of Kashmir; the Kashmiri Pandits.

Now, According To PAKI SOURCES, Saudia Shows "Interest In Investing" In Diamer -Bhasha Mohmand Dams

Saudi Arabia Shows Interest in Investing in Diamer-Bhasha & Mohmand Dams
Oct 24, 2018
In Islamabad, Advisor Trade Abdul Razak Dawood ( the same one raving and ranting against the CPEC via Financial Times Of London !) met with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy Ahmed Hamid Al-Ghamdi. BeEducated.pk wants you to know that during the meeting bilateral trade between Pakistan and KSA was discussed. According to sources, the topic of providing various facilities to businessmen was considered along with gaining business visa easily to increase trade between the two coutries.
Visas, visas and visas ! The Saudis are already "fed up" of Pakistaniyat !
Advisor Trade Abdul Razak Dawood invited Saudi Arabia to take full advantage of opportunities in the form of CPEC, saying that the volume of bilateral trade is low and it needs to be increased. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Ahmad Hamid Al-Ghamdi also met his Pakistani counterpart Omar Ayub to discuss cooperation in the energy sector.Sources say that in the meeting, Saudi Arabia had shown interest in investing in Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dam. While Pakistan also offered Saudi Arab to invest in LNG plants during the meeting.
Pakis are "dangling" tantalizing projects in front of the Saudis, (oil refinery in Gwadar, "investment" in alternative energy projects, investment in a gold mine ) hoping to bring in some of the Dollars that the Saudis are "presumably" having in their bank accounts . The Saudis have also promised the Americans that they will buy some of the latest "war gadgets"( to be used in Yemen by Raheel !) that the military industrial complex is churning out . So, there is a competition for Saudi Dollars. And the Saudis are "notorious" for making empty promises as per Bob Woodward's New Book on POTUS !
On Monday, Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that Saudi Arabia is showing deep interest in investing in the petroleum and energy sector. Talking about the investment issue, he told the media that the amount of investment will be revealed during the next two weeks. While KSA plans on making huge investments in both the sectors.
So desperate are the Pakis to get some "urgent dollars" that they even "invited" the Saudis to join CPEC on their own , without even consulting the "senior partner" - the Chinis !
Discussing CPEC, he said that the PTI government has decided to expand CPEC projects in the region. As CPEC is a huge scale and highly valuable project to Pakistan so we will ensure transparency in all its projects added the Information minister.
Fawad Chaudhary said that we want to strengthen our relations with both Saudi Arab and Iran. He added we are focusing on economic ties with KSA, however economic relations with Iran are just as important for the region.
Imran's Information Propaganda Minister needs to know that the Iranis will not bite this time !

Dus Percenti And His Cahoots Up To Their Old Tricks

After Karachi street vendor, Punjab student becomes instant millionaire
Oct 1, 2018
Dawn
JHANG – It seems the money laundering scam has entered Punjab too after making startling revelations in Karachi.
A student on Monday found out he had become an instant millionaire after authorities discovered Rs170 million stashed in a bank account under his name.
The tutee said he was completely unaware of the incident and only got to know about it after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) summoned him.
The joint investigation team said they had summoned the operator of the account bearing the student’s name.On September 29, FIA informed a street side vendor identified as Abdul Qadir found Rs 2 billion in his account.
Some have suspected Asif Ali Zardari ( AKA Dus Percenti) behind this massive scam of money laundering etc etc !

FIA, police told to locate espionage gadgets in Islamabad
Dawn
Oct 1, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Interior Rehman Malik ( the 007 of Pakiland !) has taken notice of reports that there are several espionage gadgets installed in the Diplomatic Enclave and Constitution Avenue.
Mr Malik has directed the Ministry of Interior to submit a report within the next 10 days over the warning issued by the National Telecom and Information Technology Security Board.
The former interior minister has also asked the Federal Investigation Agency and Islamabad police to locate where these gadgets have been installed.
He is PPP. PTI is in power . Will the Interior Minister "obey" him
Reportedly, the government has issued an advisory to federal ministers and other officers around the area about these gadgets that are capable of intercepting cellular communications. Ministries were warned not to share classified information using cell phones and instead, use landline communication.
Would not be surprised if all the major spy agencies are active in Isloo. After all, they do not want another 9/11 on their soil
Allegations of spying on top officials and departments in the country are not new, as it has often been claimed in the past that their communications may be bugged.Senator Malik said that spying, in any country, was a severe violation of security laws. “The government should also take notice of the matter and identify those who are responsible,” he added.
Strangely Malik was in India , when 26/11 happened !

CJP Nisar "Threatens" Mush !

CJP asks ‘commando’ to muster courage to return home
ARY News
Oct 2, 2018
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed former military ruler Pervez Musharraf to submit his medical report within a week.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing a case related to the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). The lawyer, representing former president Pervez Musharraf, informed the bench that his client wants to return back and face cases but has some security and medical issues. The chief justice directed him to submit a report, detailing medical issues faced by his client. The counsel said he would submit the report but it should be seen in the judge’s chamber.
And Mush's lawyer should get a sworn ( on the Book !) statement from CJP Nisar that he would not blabber out the contents of that report to the Paki media !
Justice Nisar recalled that at the previous hearing, the court had assured Musharraf of provision of all facilities on his return to Pakistan. “Pakistan’s highest court is giving this assurance. We can’t permit him not to return,” he remarked.
Can any reliance be placed on "Pakistan's highest court"
“If the former president doesn’t come back, we will issue red warrants,” the CJP warned.
“Commando [Musharraf] used to say he is brave. He should show courage [to fly back home],” he said. The hearing of the case was postponed till Oct 11.
The "Justice" should mind his language , lest he crosses the Red Lines Of the Fauj !

Another Bomb In Another Northern School !

Bomb goes off at Chitral school
ARY News
Sept 30, 2018
CHITRAL: In the latest assault on education, a bomb ripped through a primary school in Chitral on Sunday.
Rescue sources said the blast occurred at the Government Primary School in Arandu Gol area of Chitral. The school is located in close proximity of the Pak-Afghan border. Two rooms of the school were completely destroyed in the explosion. However, there were no reports of any loss of life in the school incident.Last month, twelve schools – eight girls and four boys – were burnt down in various parts of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Diamer district. Who Says That The Kaptaan Cannot Perform ( In Bed  )

Are Bushra, Imran expecting first child?
Oct 2, 2018
ISLAMABAD – The first lady of Pakistan, Bushra Imran is reportedly expecting a child with Prime Minister Imran Khan.In its report, the Urdu newspaper Daily Ummat claimed that PM Imran has decided to keep it a secret and that he would announce the news at an appropriate time. The report further added that a senior journalist also hinted about a senior leader becoming a father but he is keeping it a secret.
The fruits of the conjugal visits visible behind the white burkha yet . "Married in a simple ceremony in February" says the writeup ! . So, timing is just right! So, Islamic etiquette (no premarital sex ) must have been followed by the Kaptaan  Is Imran entitled to "parental leave" according to Paki Govt rules
It cited a source close to the premier confirming that the first lady wished to have a child with Imran Khan and the Almighty has fulfilled her desire.
One down, one more to go, if you go by Peerni predictions
If reports are believed to be true this will be Imran Khan’s third child after Salman and Qasim.
Officially only  Reham's Book says that the Kaptaan in his "not so sober/ candid movements" boasted that there are two or three "little Imrans" in India. And of course, Imran has already disowned the daughter of Sita White, with whom he had an affair in the distant past , before he became a follower of Sufi-ism and a born-again Muslim ( if there is such an animal !)
The PTI chief was married twice but none of his marriages lasted. He married Jemima Goldsmith, a British national, in 1995 and ended his relationship with her in 2004. He then married Reham Khan in 2015 but they parted ways within just 10 months.
As with Muslim multiple marriages there is going to be a lot of problems drafting out Imran's and Bushra's family tree. Brothers, sisters, half brothers, half sisters etc etc . And do not even think about a family reunion

Too bad they have only one. They should have 4 constitution avenues since they had 2 actual constitutions, and they survived without a constitution for the first 9 years, and the last constitution was enacted 11 years after it was drafted, couple of years after Bangladesh was formed.

Instead they should just have a "Sharia Avenue", leading to the flogging square.

Pakistan players denied permission to take part in Afghan cricket league
The News International
Oct 2, 2018
LAHORE: Pakistan cricketers have been denied permission to feature in Afghanistan Premier League (APL) starting on October 5, Geo reported.
Quoting sources, Geo reported Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has refused to issue a no-objection certificate (NOC) required to take part in the league.
Possible reason for same : security issues, hostile crowd, Echendee issues
Several Pakistani cricketers had applied for the NOC last month. The cricket board, sources add, has ruled out any policy change in this regard and maintains that only retired cricketers can join the Afghan league.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi is the only player who will be participating in this year’s tournament after the decision by the cricketing board, sources added.
Special treatment to the Afridi Pathan

Oil On Deferred Payment OK With Saudia

Saudi oil sought on deferred payment
The News International
Oct 2, 2018
ISLAMABAD: In a bid to ease the balance of payment pressure in the current fiscal year, Pakistan has formally requested Saudi Arabia for supply of oil on deferred payments.
Saudi Arabia has been requested for supply of 100,000 to 200,000 barrels per day [on deferred payments] along with other proposals, ( begging for "spare cash" from the Saudis  ) The News has learnt. The visiting Saudi team is scheduled to visit Gwadar on Tuesday (today) to make an assessment for establishing a multi-billion dollar oil refinery at the Gwadar Oil City.
The oil refinery is a different ball game entirely ! The Pakis wont the Saudis to have ownership interest in it !
Official sources said all options were on the table and Pakistan was expecting a favorable outcome in the ongoing talks with the visiting Saudi delegation. Saudi Arabia’s minister for finance is also expected to land in Islamabad on Tuesday night or early Wednesday to firm up proposals for providing $2.5 billion assistance to Pakistan during the current fiscal year.
Remains to be seen what happens considering the Saudi "reputation for procrastination and non commitment !
"“There are strong indications that the Saudi leadership has agreed to provide a financial package of $2 to $2.5 billion as cash grant and oil facility on deferred payment, which is expected to be provided very soon,” a top government official said.
Will know when it happens. Hope the Saudis understand the precariousness of the situation and do not give the runaround ( MBS is out of the country , Salman is bed ridden ! etc etc ) to the cash starved Pakis
The government is weighing all options to determine whether to approach the IMF or not and manage the balance of payments with the help of friendly countries such as China and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile Qureshi in DC is sweet talking Pompeo in releasing the security aid that was promised to the Pakis
Two top officials confirmed that the government had presented different proposals to the Saudi leadership during the visit of PM Imran Khan. The proposal included getting cash grants, provision of loan on soft terms and conditions, credit line for oil on deferred payment and provision of equity into dollars for financing viable CPEC projects.
As expected, the Saudis have also been offered "membership" in the CPEC via equity ownership This may not be palatable to the Chinese !
Saudi Arabia has also showed interest in building an oil refinery at Gwadar. There is an indication that Islamabad may get $2 to $2.5 billion from Saudi Arabia during the current fiscal year.
The Pakis are playing the "Ummah Card" . As predicted, Pakis have no option but to go to IMF . Imran and his Finance Minister will have to eat their words once again  Sialkot statistics
Fudging the figures

Paki FBR Targets 169 Non Filers

FBR in 'hot pursuit' of 169 wealthy non-filers
Dawn.com
Oct 2, 2018
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), in a notification issued on Tuesday, said it was in "hot pursuit" of 169 wealthy, non-filers as part of a government drive for the recovery of taxes from "big and influential tax evaders".Spearheading the initiative is Finance Minister Asad Umar, who had recently announced the measures the finance ministry was going to undertake to widen the tax net during an interview aired on Channel 92.
"Initially, FBR is going to catch the top 100 people who have bought the most amount of land and cars, but are not filers and do not give taxes. This will be done over the span of a few weeks after which in a comprehensive exercise, people who have lavish lifestyles, as in travelling in the business class etc will be identified."I thought you would ask why only 100 people, let me answer that anyway, it is 100 people so that FBR cannot sidestep this and say that as there are too many people the exercise will take too long. With only 100 people, the exercise will not take more than a few weeks," he had explained.
So, if you traveling in business class, you will be targeted if you have not filed a return even though your company has paid the ticket for you
Individuals subjected to scrutiny include those who have "purchased properties over Rs20 million, or purchased 1800CC or larger engine cars, or received rent to the tune of Rs10 million or more in a year", but have not bothered to file tax returns. The notification clarifies that these measures are being taken without any discrimination. It also encourages people to pay their due taxes within the due date, i.e, November 30.
Will the investigation be dropped if non-filers happen to be friends of Imran and Pajwa

Pakistan facing water scarcity ahead of Rabi sowing - Sehrish Wasif

In its latest seasonal forecast, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) cautioned the authorities concerned to use the water reserves judiciously to meet the requirement for Rabi sowing.

PMD Spokesperson Khalid Malik told The Express Tribune that the country received 31 per cent below average rainfall this year as compared to 23 per cent below average showers in 2017. “This year, the below average rainfall during monsoon did not help much to improve the water levels in main reservoirs of the country and underground water,” he added.

“Mostly October and November are transitional periods of weather, therefore, in Pakistan, October and November go dry or there are few spells of light rainfall,” said Malik, adding that chances are the winter season may start by the third week of October.

On the contrary, the Met office had twice issued drought alert in the southern parts of the country due to scarcity of rainfall.

“It is too early to predict as to when the ongoing drought in the southern parts of the county will come to an end,” he maintained.

Water reservoirs: Preparation to build two small dams under way

According to PMD monthly monsoon update, the country in September recorded 35 per cent below normal rainfall in all the provinces except Balochistan where it remained above normal.

In August, the country received 51 per cent below normal rainfall in all the provinces. In July, rainfall recorded in the country was 12 per cent. However, it remained above normal in Punjab, K-P, Gilgit-Baltistan, below normal in Sindh and Balochistan and close to normal in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The latest season forecast suggests near normal rainfall in the country with two or three spells of light to moderate rainfall during October. In the meantime, due to rapidly falling temperatures, the snow and glacier melt contribution to Tarbela reservoir will become minimal.

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) said the water level in Tarbela Dam had reached its dead level for the very first time in the month of July. Moreover, Mangla and Tarbela Dam reached dead level for the first time in March for the first time in 15 years.

The current water level in Mangla Dam is 1,166.50 acres feet against its maximum conservation level of 1,242 feet and dead level of 1,050 acres feet. In Tarbela Dam, the current water level is 1,497 acres feet against its maximum conservation level of 1,550 feet and dead level of 1,386 feet.

“This year, Tarbela Dam had reached its dead level twice in May and unprecedentedly in July, however, Mangla Dam reached its dead level in late February, improved a bit in April but is still at its lowest now,” IRSA Spokesperson Rana Khalid told The Express Tribune.

Therefore, considering the severe water crisis, Irsa will carry forward 5.8 million acre feet (MAF) water storage from Kharif to Rabi crop season, which is the second lowest in history after 5.4 MAF in 2004

Canada Revenue Agency Penalizes Major Islamic Charity Organization

CRA suspends, fines major Islamic charity over concerns it may have ‘provided resources’ to armed militants in Pakistan !
Oct 2, 2018
Global News- Stewart Bell
A major Canadian Islamic organization has been suspended and fined by federal charities regulators following an audit that raised concerns it had “provided resources” that may have been used to support to armed militancy.
The Canada Revenue Agency said it had suspended the Islamic Society of North America-Canada (ISNA-Canada) for a year effective Sept. 12 and ordered the Mississauga-based charity to pay a $550,000 penalty.
The "Charity" can appeal the penalty, which IMO it will !
Government auditors alleged ISNA-Canada had “failed to conduct any meaningful due diligence” when it transferred $136,000 to the war-torn Kashmir region, where the militant Hizbul Muhajideen has been fighting Indian troops.
The money is collected from "patriotic Pakis" based in Canada and the monies so donated can be claimed as a deduction on their income tax return !
By acting as a “conduit” for other organizations, ISNA-Canada “may have, knowingly or unknowingly, provided the benefits of its status as a registered charity to support the efforts of a political party and its armed wing,” the CRA wrote.
It is the CRA’s view that the society’s resources may have, directly or indirectly, been used the support the political efforts of Jamaat-e-Islami and/or its armed wing Hizbul Mujahideen,” according to CRA documents.
While the Charities Directorate did not revoke ISNA-Canada’s charity status, the group was required to enter into a compliance agreement under which it must “cease its overseas operations.”
Pakistanis being Pakis will find some way to circumvent this new restriction !
“We are saddened by this outcome,” ISNA-Canada said in a written statement. It denied any links to terrorism and said it had “made progressive and important changes” to its governance and “how we operate as one of the largest Muslim organizations in Canada.”
The auditors identified a number of other concerns, including “inadequate internal controls,” a “third-party receipting scheme,” close links to for-profit Muslim housing co-ops and a halal certification program that the CRA said was essentially a business.
ISNA-Canada was no longer operating overseas, it said. But it insisted it had not acted as a “conduit” but had directed that its money be used for humanitarian work in Kashmir. It also noted that “Hizbul Mujahideen was not a listed entity in Canada.”“The charity is a prominent Muslim organization that has served Muslims locally in Canada and internationally for over 40 years. As such, it is one of the oldest and longest serving national organizations in Canada advancing the Islamic faith. At any given time the charity provides over 30 different charitable programs.”But the CRA wrote that its concerns about ISNA-Canada “have not been fully alleviated. Specifically, our position that the society failed to devote its resources to its own charitable activities in that it gifted resources to non-qualified donees still remains.”In a letter addressed to community members, ISNA-Canada chair Katherine Bullock said: “We have spent the last decade rectifying these mistakes and reforming our organization to ensure that we have a robust governance structure in place so that the mistakes made are not repeated.”
The US IRA should do the same for US Charities based in Massaland !

Philippines bars entry of Pakistani terror suspect

Oct 2, 2018
MANILA – A Pakistani was denied entry in the Philippines because he was on the alert list of suspected international terrorists for being an alleged trainer of Daesh
According to local media, the immigration bureau intercepted Naeem Hussain, 36, at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga on September 22. Hussain had arrived via an Emirates flight from Dubai.Bureau of Immigration (BI) officer-in-Charge Deputy Commissioner Marc Red Mariñas said Hussain “was immediately excluded and booked on the first available flight of origin.”
The Green Passport is a Red Alert for Immigration Authorities at all International Airports
The BI said the Pakistani suspect “has been on the watch list of the military intelligence community.” This was his second attempt to enter Philippines, the official said, adding he was denied entry in May through the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.Hussain claimed that he has worked as a digital designer for the past 16 years, and that “he traveled to the Philippines to visit his Filipina girlfriend” living in Olongapo City.
Is he on the Interpol list yet ?

Saudi Arabia has been requested for supply of 100,000 to 200,000 barrels per day [on deferred payments] along with other proposals, ( begging for "spare cash" from the Saudis  ) The News has learnt. The visiting Saudi team is scheduled to visit Gwadar on Tuesday (today) to make an assessment for establishing a multi-billion dollar oil refinery at the Gwadar Oil City.
The oil refinery is a different ball game entirely ! The Pakis wont the Saudis to have ownership interest in it !
400% sure someone in Paki Govt read this report about Saudi Aramco setting up $44B mega refinery in India (https://money.cnn.com/2018/04/11/news/i ... index.html) and decided they want the same and included it in the proposal and the (fake) news about KSA setting up mega refinery in Gwadar will keep getting circulated every now and then till KSA issues an official denial.

Foul Mouthed Fair Banned From Tweeter

Twitter Removes Georgetown Prof Who Called For ‘Castration’ Of White Men
The Daily Caller
Oct 2, 2018
Twitter has removed Georgetown professor C. Christine Fair’s account after she tweeted that white men should be castrated and fed to pigs.
Fair tweeted over the weekend that the “entitled white men” defending Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh “deserve miserable deaths while feminist laugh as they take their last gasps.” (RELATED: Georgetown Prof: ‘Castrate’ White Men’s Corpses And ‘Feed Them To Swine’)
“Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes,” she added.
The Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald noted on Tuesday that Fair’s account had either been suspended or permanently banned from the platform, presumably because of the aforementioned tweet.
Twitter users currently receive the following message when trying to visit Fair’s account: “This account has been suspended. Learn more about why Twitter suspends accounts, or return to your timeline.”Twitter did not immediately return a request for comment.Georgetown University defended Fair in a statement Monday, asserting her right to free speech but adding that the university expects her not to be biased in the classroom.
“The views of faculty members expressed in their private capacities are their own and not the views of the University. Our policy does not prohibit speech based on the person presenting ideas or the content of those ideas, even when those ideas may be difficult, controversial or objectionable. While faculty members may exercise freedom of speech, we expect that their classrooms and interaction with students be free of bias and geared toward thoughtful, respectful dialogue.”
Not sure whether she has tenure at the University . She, however is well known for foul mouth . And she has a habit of picking fights with those with whom she disagrees !

Saudis Interested In "Low Hanging" Paki Fruits

Govt turns down Saudi offer to acquire two power plants
Express Tribune
Oct 2, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has turned down Saudi Arabia’s offer to acquire two LNG-fired power plants only under a sovereign deal, as laws do not allow selling assets without following a rigorous competitive process.
“Saudi Arabia also demanded  Pakistan to provide free land, complete security and utility facilities for setting up an oil refinery of over 100,000 barrel per day capacity at Gwadar,” the sources told The Express Tribune on Monday.
Do the Saudis have the (local) technical know for such a huge venture
The officials said the Saudi delegation wanted to clinch an early deal and buying the power plants through competitive process would consume at least six months. The Power Division secretary explained the mechanism for selling the assets to the Saudi authorities.
IMO, what Saudia wants , Saudi gets
The Saudi authorities were of the view that the General Electric technology that used to set up power plants may soon become obsolete as the GE was shifting its investment towards renewable energy projects.“In order to satisfy the Saudi delegation, the government has sought a legal opinion from the Ministry of Law whether the existing plants can be sold under a government-to-government deal,” the sources said.
Accommodation can "always" be made for The Head Of The Two Holy Mosques

Chinis "Upset" Over Pakis Unilateral Invitation To Saudi Arabia To Join CPEC !

China ‘perturbed’ on being left out of Saudi inclusion in CPEC
PT
Oct 2, 2018
ISLAMABAD: China feels ‘perturbed’ and ‘overlooked’ as Imran Khan-led government is unilaterally finalising modalities for the inclusion of one of it’s another strategic partner, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), in the multi-billion-dollar project, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
As predicted in this Forum, the Pakis took the initiative on their own, without consulting the Senior Partner - The Chinese !
Background interviews and interactions with officials linked to the CPEC have revealed that Pakistan had not even consulted the Chinese leadership over the inclusion of Saudi Arabia despite the fact that China was the principal party in the economic corridor project.
This is the latest goof of Imran's Naya Pakistan . The fiasco regarding the Pompeo phone call, the French PM kept on hold , the setback on talks with India . The diplomatic defeats keep piling on
CPEC is a bilateral agreement between Pakistan and China under which China had initially pledged to invest the US $46 billion in various energy, infrastructure and industrial projects. Later, the portfolio of CPEC was added up with the addition of five additional mass transit projects including Orange Line Metro besides Mass Transit Systems in Peshawar, Karachi and Quetta.
CPEC has been the biggest Chinese investment overseas and it has changed the overall perception of Pakistan within a year as almost all international economic monitors and international financial institutions have started to reflect Pakistan as one of the few emerging economies of the world with the potential to challenge regional and global players.
 This is BS! CPEC "implementation" has led to Pakistan hitting rock bottom as far as their foreign reserves and liabilities are concerned !
However, ever since the PTI-led government took charge in August, officials linked with CPEC are reluctant to speak to media due to its sensitive nature and the change of guard.
Understandable !
Eminent CPEC expert and Pakistan, China Institute Chairman Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed told Pakistan Today that China only came to know about the Saudi Arabia’s addition to the project through media as the PTI government did not take Beijing on board prior to making a formal offer to King Salman to join the CPEC.
Pakis were broke . So, Immy "sweet talked " the senile Salman into bailing Pakistan out by joining CPEC . And this was while Pajwa was in Beijing
“The Chinese learnt about the inclusion of Saudi Arabia from the media announcement made by the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry,” said the PML-N leader, who is known for close association with the Chinese leadership.“While CPEC’s expansion was already on the cards, there should have been prior consultations between Islamabad and Beijing on the inclusion of Saudi Arabia,” he added.
Now the Chinis are "hoping mad" but they still show their "poker face" !
Although CPEC is all about regional connectivity, it is imperative that China is taken on board on all important decisions. Thus, given this context and the flip-flops of the regime, the parliament and Pakistan Army are now the principal stakeholders and guarantors of CPEC, according to Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed.
Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing also dropped a hint on Beijing being kept out of the loop by Pakistan on Saudi venture, telling a news agency on Sunday that China was open to the changes proposed in CPEC by Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government and “will definitely follow their agenda” to work out a roadmap for BRI projects based on “mutual consultation”.

Interesting developments. If the IMF does not bail out Pakiland, and the Saudis change their mind on the CPEC and are not interested , and the Chinese are "angry", to whom will Pakistan turn to
Fawad said this while responding to a tweet by former planning minister and PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, who asked whether Beijing had been taken on board before formally inviting Riyadh to join the mega venture.“Has China been taken into confidence? CPEC is a bilateral project in which induction of any other country has to have [the] concurrence of both sides,” Iqbal wrote. In response, Fawad said that Chinese assent had been sought and that the “expansion of CPEC is in the interest of China and Pakistan.”Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Senate chairman Raza Rabbani also blamed the government of trying to “weaken the CPEC”.
Questioning if China was taken into confidence before bringing Saudi Arabia into the CPEC, he asked, “If taken in the loop, what did China say about the matter?”Rabbani said the parliament too should have been taken into confidence before inviting Saudi Arabia to become the third partner in CPEC and said that no statement was issued from the prime minister, except that Saudi Arabia had been offered to set up an oil refinery in Gwadar.Senator Mushahid Hussain believed that there have been a number of missteps by the present regime vis-a-vis China.
“The list is long though, but Imran Khan’s failing to mention CPEC in his maiden speech, statements by ministers calling for a review of CPEC projects, particularly PM’s advisor’s irresponsible remarks, then the remarks attributed to another minister regarding Xinjiang, so much so that the army chief had to go personally to Beijing to reassure President Xi Jinping about CPEC,” said Senator Mushahid Hussain.
So, the Chinese were sensing the direction of the "CPEC wind" and therefore Pajwa went to Beijing on an "reassuring" mission, while Immy was peddling CPEC to the Saudis !
Pakistan Today contacted Planning Minister Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar to inquire whether China was consulted before making an offer to Saudi Arabia. The minister, however, did not respond to the messages sent to him. When contacted, CPEC project director in planning ministry, Hassan Dawood Butt, said that he was in a meeting with Saudi Arabian delegation. Later, however, his cell phone was switched off when Pakistan Today contacted him again.Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry also did not respond to the attempts made to contact him. Moreover, the Chinese embassy’s spokesperson also remained unavailable to comment owing to the ongoing vacations on their national day.
What this will do to the Echendee of the Saudis . Can they again trust the Pakis . They have been placed in some sort of an embarrassing position . ! And they even opened the Doors Of The Kabba- for The Kaptaan - for a Private View

Month old article (September 3rd) in Military Times reports that “a State Department official said on the condition of anonymity” that “The United States has consequently suspended delivery of FMF-funded military equipment to Pakistan, including AH-1Z attack helicopters.”:
Previous rounds of withheld funds have impacted U.S. foreign military sales to Pakistan, including the transfer of up to 16 AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters from Amarillo, Texas-based Bell.

In August 2017, Bell had just transferred the first two Vipers to the U.S. government for transfer to Pakistan via the FMS program when the U.S. announced the first freeze of military aid. Four more helicopters were on the production line.

The Vipers are still waiting to be shipped, a State Department official said on the condition of anonymity.

“The president suspended U.S. grant-funded security assistance to Pakistan in January 2018 as a result of Pakistan’s lack of responsiveness to U.S. requests in support of the South Asia strategy,” a State Department official said on the condition of anonymity. “The United States has consequently suspended delivery of FMF-funded military equipment to Pakistan, including AH-1Z attack helicopters.”

World’s third biggest oil refinery will be installed in Gwadar :rotfl:
A Saudi delegation has agreed to install the world’s third largest oil refinery in Gwadar city so Central Asian countries can be supplied.

They made this commitment during their visit on Tuesday.

The refinery will also meet the oil needs of Pakistan and China.

The delegation is headed by the Saudi foreign minister who was joined by the minister for petroleum.
Will not be surprised if this is anything more than the typical hot air that the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan puts out from time to time to gull the ordinary Mango Mohammad’s and Maimona’s  . This announcement of Saudi Arabia building a refinery in Gwadar in Pakistan Occupied Balochistan reminds me of the hoopla that the Punjabi Military dominated Deep State of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan put out regards Abu Dhabi building a refinery at Point Khalifa near Hub which is also in Pakistan Occupied Baluchistan back in 2007 and where the lapse of 11 years has yet to see Abu Dhabi part with a single Dirham of investment :rotfl: :
