PTI wants to invite foreign dignitaries, celebrities for Imran Khan's oath-taking ceremony

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday confirmed that the party had asked the Foreign Office (FO) to apprise it on whether foreign heads of state could be invited to the prime minister's oath ceremony expected to take place on Aug 11.

Chaudhry told Dawn that the PTI had asked the FO if it would be possible to invite foreign dignitaries, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, given the short period of time before the ceremony takes place. He added that they are awaiting a response from the FO on the matter.

Additionally, he said, the party had invited celebrities like Amir Khan, Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavasker for the ceremony.

Chaudhry confirmed the developments in an informal media talk outside the Supreme Court, where he had gone to meet Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar.

Talking about his meeting with the CJP, Chaudhry said that since he is also a senior SC lawyer, he had met with the CJP.

"The PTI wants to build bridges with all institutions as we are in the government," he said, adding: "We want good times with all institutions, and don't want acrimony or confrontation with any institution."

He claimed that other SC judges had congratulated him and the PTI on their successes.

My comments : It would be an insult for Modi Ji to visit Ātaṅkavadīsthan at such short notice. Amir Khan does have "Interests" in Ātaṅkavadīsthan. Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar must also decline.

And now this,

I am better than Priyanka Chopra: Meera

When it comes to confidence, nobody can beat Meera Jee. Her comments always get her in the news for all the reasons, be it right or wrong, keeping everyone entertained. This time around, she has claimed that she’s a better actress than Priyanka Chopra and that Hollywood should ‘consider’ her.
Earlier today, news broke that Priyanka Chopra had signed a Hollywood film featuring Chris Pratt titled Cowboy Ninja Viking. Nothing much has been revealed about Priyanka’s character as of now but all we know now is that she will be the leading lady in the film. But clearly, Meera Jee would have been a better choice.

This is another manifestation of social engineering that Mohammed Iqbal, Jinnah, Raja of Mahmudabad, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan et al did to the masses and the succeeding governments continued and took to higher & higher planes. Like Musharraf saying that their SUPARCO engineers/scientists were better than their ISRO counterparts or the Pakistanis spoke better English than us; his claim on earnings from software services vis-a-vis India; the 10:1 ratio of the FM; the Wagah spectacle; the hollow bravado & swagger; the various nuclear threats; claiming their missiles and their Command & Control are better than ours etc. The list is long indeed . . .

^^^
The one that is my favourite is the pseudo Pathan( like Imran !) from Hazara promoting himself as a self appointed Field Marshall ( unlike Field Marshall Manecksha of India !) without commanding a single army in any battlefield . I am referring to Ayub Khan ( General, President and FM all rolled into one !) . I believe that he was the one who came up with " Ten Hindu soldiers are equal to One Muslim", blah, blah, blah

Another Hindu Caught In The "Blasphemy Trap"

Teenage Hindu boy arrested for allegedly posting blasphemous content on social media
Hanif Samoon
August 01, 2018

A 19-year-old Hindu boy was booked by police in Mirpurkhas' Mirwah Gorchani area on Tuesday for allegedly posting blasphemous content on social media. The teenager was arrested and a case was filed against him under Section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the orders of Mirpurkhas Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Abid Ali Baloch after local prayer leader Mohammad Anwar Soomro filed a complaint.
As long as there is no genuine peace between India and Pakistan ( and the chances of that occurring in the short or medium term is almost zero ) Hindus (specially) are going to be held hostage in Pakiland !.
Soomro alleged that the suspect had hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims by posting 'highly controversial' posts on his Facebook account starting July 30. Probably, the true reason for this hostility will come in subsequent news reports .
While talking to local journalists, residents of Mirwah Gorchani claimed that the suspect had been upset after his teenage sister Ganga (now Ayesha) had embraced Islam of her own will a few days ago. They added that some other members of his family were also expected to convert to Islam.
Advocate Kashif Bajeer, a human rights activist in the area, demanded a thorough probe into the matter while talking to Dawn.
Despite repeated attempts, the SSP Mirpurkhas could not be contacted for his version on the matter.
IMO, things are going to be worse , now that self proclaimed Islamist turned "sufist" (Imran) has come into power. !!!

Isn't fighting and winning an actual, real life war one of the requirements for qualifying as a field marshal? Unless this genrail also had a vision...

Promotion to the rank of field marshal in many countries historically required extraordinary military achievement by a general (a wartime victory).

By the way. I'm the dimmy is a mianwali (pakjabi) pathan.

Imran Khan invites Bollywood star Aamir Khan, former Indian cricketers to oath ceremony

Prime Minister-designate Imran Khan has invited Bollywood star Aamir Khan and former Indian cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Navjot Singh Sidhu to his oath-taking ceremony in Islamabad on August 11.

And, time for back door (or, er...back foot) diplomacy to begin.

Another Example Of Chinis Gobbling Up Paki Lucrative Industries . The Chinification Of Pakistan Continues Unabated

China’s dairy group likely to buy 51% stake in Pakistan’s Fauji Foods

PS Not sure why Massa is still including Pakiland in the membership list of "Major Non-NATO Ally Al-lie " . It is practically becoming a satrap of Cheen . Maybe, they have their own reason, one of the main being to "feed them" with other brand new war material , so as to motivate them to keep their land supply route to Afghanistan. ( The Whore factor  ) And also to make sure that the "Bum" does not fall into wrong hands . By no stretch of the imagination , can Pakistan be termed as an Ally, of USA leave aside the wrong moniker of " Major Ally ". It is an outright sham !!!!
The latest arms being given to them being given as a member of this group, are going to be used either against the (a) Afghan Army or (b) Indian Army , not fighting "terrorism" as it is intended to !

Another Luminary Arrives In Bani Gala To Pay Homage To The New "Khan" Of Pakiland !

British HC calls on Imran, congratulates on PTI’s victory in elections

PS: Not sure if he came bearing news of "dollar gifts" like the envoys of Saudia and Cheen. Most likely not . Britain is broke !

PS: British HC did not come "empty handed" to Imran . According to another news report :

He said the UK government would help Pakistan send 2.2 million children to schools.

The " Britain broke" remark stands ! Each (country ) according to its financial ability ! 2.2 children to school is not a "small sum" . Question is : will it be the same old madrassah education with a healthy dosage of "anti-hindu and "anti- India" brainwashing

Imran Is Learning The Nitty -Grity Of Paki Politics Pretty Fast ! Biggest Dacoit Now Becomes Close Ally

From ‘biggest dacoit’ to Speaker Punjab Assembly, here’s how Imran Khan initiated inquiry against Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE – Though Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has green signaled former chief minister Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi to administer the Punjab Assembly as a Speaker, a few of the facts have come to the fore divulging the years-long hate-hate relationship between Imran Khan and Pakistan Muslim league Quaid e Azam leader.
This is nothing new to the Kaptaan. He has even "bad mouthed" the premier institution (ISI ) of Pakiland . That has not stopped the Deep State from installing him as PM !
Interestingly, as the ‘Chaudhries of Punjab’ are set to take share in the province owing to the results of the General Elections, it has been revealed that the investigations against them were once sought by PTI chief Imran Khan.
In a Geo television talk show on Tuesday, it was revealed that the National Accountability Bureau is conducting investigations against Ch Pervaiz Elahi on a complaint filed by the PM-in-waiting, Imran Khan, a decade back.
That was then, this is now . Politics, as they say, is a dirty game . And anyway, as in Diplomacy and Foreign Relations ( Pakistan is finding out the hard way !) in politics too there are no permanent friends or enemies only permanent interests ( or how to grab "power" )
When Pervaiz Elahi had assumed power in 2002, the State Bank of Pakistan had launched an inquiry against them regarding the written off loans; the inquiry was started after PTI supremo Imran Khan filed an application with the national treasury.
Maybe, that might have been the quid pro quo for Elahi to agree to join him. ! Imran, with his PM power now , can make the enquiry disappear
Imran Khan had quoted a report published in 2000 by a private bank in which it was alleged that the Chaudhry brothers got a loan written off to the tune of Rs 240 million for their Punjab Sugar Mills, seeking a formal inquiry into the issue. Moreover, as PML-Q and PTI are ready to join hands in Punjab and at the federal level, a few of the statements of the cricketer-turned-PM are making rounds over the internet.
In one of the speeches, the furious Khan can be seen declaring Pervaiz Elahi the ‘biggest dacoit of Punjab’. Thank God Allah that in this day and age of social media , it is now captured on video, audio etc etc . Otherwise The Khan would have denied this with a straight face, as he has done on many occasions !
‘Let the elections start, these politicians created troubles for the public through dearness. The way these politicians flouted the rules and did corruption, you would see a drama unfold in coming days,’ Khan had said in a reference to the regime led by Pervaiz Elahi.pakistan Tehreek-e-INsaf is leading the numbers game in center, however, the party still needs the support of PMLQ to pave way for Imran Khan to become the chief executive of the country.

CJP Saquib Crosses "Red Lines" Of Deep State And /or Getting Too Big For His Boots

CJP asks how Raheel Sharif, Shuja Pasha accepted foreign employments

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has asked as to how former chief of army staff, General Raheel Sharif and ex-DG ISI Shuja Pasha were allowed to go abroad and acquire foreign job despite the law bars public servants to do so for two years after their retirement. The chief justice was hearing a case pertaining to dual nationality of judges and government officers here Wednesday.
He should stick to the "file" assigned to him . Why bring extraneous matters into the arguments in court !
The CJP asked Defence Secretary Lt Gen (retd) Zamir-ul-Hassan Shah to inform the court as how many officers were married to foreign nationals and whether the law does not apply to military officers.
The defence secretary apprised the court that both the retired generals had obtained a no-objection certificate (NOC) prior to accepting employment offer abroad. Armed forces do not recruit dual citizens, he told the court, adding that they have to give up their foreign nationality before being recruited in the military.
Zamir is a retired fauji . He is talking BS . ( armed forces do not recruit dual citizens !) Every Abdul in Isloo "knows" that the high level faujis have purchased "insurance" in the form of green cards, residency papers, passports etc etc ( through their kids or spouses settled abroad ) in USA, UK, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore , Australia , etc in case "something happens" and they are not able to sustain their badshahi lifestyle in Pakiland . The loot stashed abroad will help
The court also issued notices to 27 officers of the Interior Ministry holding dual nationality and adjourned the hearing till August 7. :D
Nothing is going to happen if sifarish is "brought in the picture" !

PS One of these days, Saquib is going to get a "cold call" from ISI to lay off - from this sensitive topic - or else ....

Abdullah Haroon, caretaker Foreign Minister ( who happens to be the younger brother of DAWN owner , Hameed Haroon !) Defends Pakiland Against Pompeo's Threatening Remarks :D

Pakistan hits back at ´inappropriate´ US fears over IMF bailout

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hit back Wednesday at US fears that any IMF bailout its new government might have to seek would be used to repay Chinese loans, stating that it was "totally wrong" to link the two.Abdullah Hussain Haroon, the caretaker foreign minister, said that a new government led by Imran Khan, who won the country´s general election last week, would have to decide whether to approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) amid fears of a balance of payments crisis.
This experienced "gentleman", who has lived for many many years in Massaland was once Pakiland's Amb to UN and is supposedly a "friend" of Hardeep Singh Suri, one time India Amb to UN !
However he also dismissed as "inappropriate" comments by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo earlier this week voicing concerns over any IMF bailout being used to repay Chinese loans to Islamabad.
Haroon said the new government would have to decide on whether to approach the IMF. Asad Umar, widely tipped to become Khan´s finance minister in a coalition government, tweeted on Tuesday that "no option including IMF is ruled out".But Haroon also hit back at Pompeo´s comments, saying: "It is totally wrong to link an IMF package with CPEC", and that there was "absolutely no reason for anyone to intervene" in Pakistan´s relationship with China.
The finance ministry did not answer requests for comment by AFP.
Let the "experienced" Haroon handle the "hot potato" topic :D

The "No- Nonsense" Chinese Get Tough With Stranded Pakis Whose Visas Have Now Expired. :D

Over 300 Pakistanis stranded in China appeal govt for assistance

BEIJING: Over 300 Pakistanis, stranded in Chinese city of Guangzhou, have appealed to the Pakistani government to help them after their flight was canceled on July 29.
According to Geo News, police have arrested several stranded Pakistanis, ( well, well, well, whatever happened to the deeper than the ocean, tall than the mountain fliend  ) mostly hailing from Chaman district of Balochistan, after their visas expired.
Geo News citing sources reported that a private airline abruptly canceled its flight on July 29 as a result more than 300 Pakistani were stranded in Guangzhou city.
Sources said the flight was canceled after Guangzhou airport imposed heavy taxes on the airline. The private airline has refunded the tickets to the passengers. And thus has "washed its hand " of this embarrassing matter. So much so for "customer service" !
The airline had promised to send another plane on August 02, however, it was also canceled.
Plane will be sent, when IMF approves loan !!!!

Another kick in the pants by their ammah's brother.

UAE offers three-month amnesty for foreign workers stuck in Catch-22

The United Arab Emirates launched a three-month visa amnesty programme on Wednesday
The government isn't releasing specific numbers, but said it expects “thousands” of people, primarily labourers from countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and the Philippines, to take advantage of the amnesty through the end of October.
As it stands, foreigners who overstay their visas are fined between 25 to 100 dirhams (about $7 to $27) a day, depending on the type of visa, and aren't allowed to leave the country until the fines are paid.
It's a gift from the government of the UAE as a humanitarian gesture,” Al Marri said.

Here's a loaded piece of news just published in a paki noosepaper. Think about the implications:

Passengers 'grateful to God' after plane crashes in Mexico with no deaths

"I feel blessed and grateful to God"

So, will the pakis question their "god" who lets bad things happen to the pakis whereas others' "gods" protect their believers? I mean, wasn't the paki god the only true one? Does this one act imply something sinister? Time to change "gods" that listen to prayers? Hain? Isn't that blasphemy? Hain? Time to stone the newspaper's offices and lynch the editor for spreading fake noose? Hain?

Deep State Concerned About The Kaptaan's Security At Bani Gala. Imran Now Accepts A Bungalow At The Minister's Enclave In Isloo

Imran Khan to move into Ministers’ Enclave
August 1, 2018

ISLAMABAD: The authorities concerned plan to declare a house in the Ministers’ Enclave as the official residence of the prime minister-in-waiting, Imran Khan, officials told Dawn.In his victory speech, Imran Khan had announced that he would not use the Prime Minister’s House as his residence and that his party would later decide the fate of the building.
A person who had no hesitation in using a private jet- ex gratia ( supplied by a friend ) to do the Umra with the Peerni, should not "show" such "hollow" acts of simplicity . At least , IMO
Shortly after Imran Khan’s victory in the recently-held general elections, the capital police and the district administration started extending VVIP protocol and security to the PTI chief, police officials said. Security was mounted around Mr Khan and at his Banigala residence, they said.
Some newspaper reports have suggested that Imran's (s) election as PM is still not a 100% sure thing
Senior police officers, including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Waqar Ahmed Chohan, visited Mr Khan’s Banigala residence soon after PTI’s victory in the polls.
The police team assessed the residence and the area around it, including the hills.
The police officials said there was no standard operating procedure for the prime minister in-waiting, but since Imran Khan is likely to be the next prime minister, necessary measures have been taken for his security.Besides police officials, personnel of Islamabad traffic police were also deployed around his Banigala residence and the road leading to it.
The Rangers were also detailed on the nearby mountains.
Islamabad Chief Commissioner Joudat Ayaz, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Jan Mohammad along with a couple of other senior officers also visited Banigala recently and discussed security issues with PTI leader Naeemul Haq as well as the chief security officer of the residence.Issues regarding the official residence of the prime minister-in-waiting also came under discussion. The officials briefed them about the standard operating procedure (SOP) with regards to security and protocol of the prime minister. The senior officers also met Imran Khan and briefed him about security and protocol.
The laadla has to be protected. No ifs , no buts
During the meeting, the district administration officials told him that his residence could not be provided foolproof security as the area was open and vulnerable to threat.
RAA / CIA/ Mossad agents active in the area
Mr Khan then agreed not to use Banigala as his official residence, the officials told Dawn.A few more options were also given to him, including using an accommodation at the Ministers’ Enclave, which he accepted. However, he asked for a lowest category house at the enclave.
The pre and post installation celebrations and the the expected family reunion - with oversees guests from UK - in Bani Gala ? Is this now up in the air
There are flats which fall in the lowest category, but since necesary SOPs and protocol for prime minister could not be implemented there, the senior officers advised Mr Khan against using a flat and instead prefer a house to which Mr Khan agreed. :D
All's well that ends well

Are Imran Khan’s policy goals realisable?

Imran Khan’s acceptance speech was laudable from many angles. It had a healing touch after the deep polarisation and cleavages that have occurred in the polity in the weeks and months of electioneering. How long it can be sustained would depend on how words are transformed into deeds. The wide canvass of economic, political and foreign policy issues that he dealt with would certainly need a broad national consensus to be implemented.

Imran Khan’s vision on foreign policy was equally ambitious. His thrust was that with major global powers and regional countries, especially important neighbours, he would like to have good relations. Of course, it was accompanied by caveats. It would be a useful exercise to examine what are the likely prospects of achieving this worthy goal.

China is committed to the success of CPEC and is fulfilling its part of the bargain. As the situation stands now, there are delays on our side that need to be speeded up to keep pace with the agreed schedule of work. Moreover, our people especially from Balochistan need to benefit from the project in a significant way. For this, the security situation has to be better so that work could progress smoothly. Moreover, the real benefit of the corridor lies in attracting investment and adding value to the economy that Pakistan so desperately needs.

Chinese leaders right from Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping to the current able leadership of Xi Jinping were able to transform China in a remarkable way that history has not witnessed before. It is always useful to learn from the Chinese experience and emulate their hard work and selfless dedication as Imran Khan suggests. Answers to overcome our national shortcomings will have to be found from within. The reason is that the Chinese economic and political model is so vastly different from ours. Duplicating a communist imprint on a quasi-democracy would not work. However, emulating their hard work, dedication and methodical approach should serve as a guide and incentive.

President Xi has taken several measures to minimise corruption that includes removing top and middle-ranking leaders and ensuring that accountability is across the board. Yet it would take a long time before China ranks among the corrupt-free nations. In Pakistan, to reduce corruption, several measures would have to be taken. In this election, the PTI heavily focused on the “electables”. These politicians have built their electoral strength largely on the basis of patronage and to a lesser extent on performance and leadership. The electables to enhance their local influence spend lavishly to win votes. Once in power, they would like to recover their investment thereby perpetuating a form of corruption.

The Afghan government welcomed Imran Khan’s reiteration of remaining committed to the Afghan peace efforts. His thinking of an open border between the two countries was equally well received. As conditions exist, it will take a few years before Afghanistan turns peaceful and the government is able to establish its writ in the provinces adjacent to Pakistan. Only then would free movement be a feasible proposition. The army leadership too has been earnestly working towards developing a close and cooperative relationship with Afghanistan. General Bajwa has made several visits to Afghanistan to regain the confidence of its leadership. A recent development is the institutionalisation of relationship where representatives of both countries periodically review security, trade and border management. The alleged presence of the Haqqani Group and the Taliban Shura in Pakistan has been a sore point for Afghanistan as it is for the US. Recent moves by Pakistan and international organisations like Pugwash to facilitate the peace process between the Taliban and US officials augur well for Afghanistan and the region. These could lead to a negotiated settlement. Even if Imran Khan remains on the sidelines, his words of sympathy and support and his positive image in Afghanistan should contribute to building mutual confidence.

Pakistan’s relations with the US will largely depend on how our military leadership is able to convince Washington that they are not supporting the Taliban and Haqqanis. A stable relationship may not be possible if our policies on Afghanistan, India, Iran and China run counter to the US positions.

Balancing relations between our long-term strategic ally Saudi Arabia and important neighbour Iran, with whom Pakistan has been taking measured steps to improve relations, would remain a challenge. The role of being a conciliator in the Saudi-Iran confrontation as Imran suggests seems impractical.

Imran Khan’s desire to develop good relations with India will be a great challenge. First, he would have to take the establishment on board, which may not be easy. In the past both the PPP and PML-N leaderships were reportedly thwarted by the military in their attempts to foster political and economic relations with India. How will the army high command react to the PTI government’s moves to break the logjam, especially his desire to strengthen trade ties with India? With Kashmir in turmoil and Modi’s government unrelenting, it makes the task even more challenging. Anyway, his expression of goodwill and a sincere proposal to engage in dialogue should be commended.

From Pakistan’s perspective, the inflated role of India in Afghanistan makes it uneasy. Whether the new government will reconcile to this situation or take the ownership of relations with India and steer it towards an end that has space for both the countries remains to be seen.

The more fundamental question is, would Imran be able to wrest back the power of formulating and implementing foreign policy. Asif Zardri had to make a fast retreat after his initial attempts at subordinating foreign policy. Nawaz Sharif’s attempts at improving relations with India brought him in direct confrontation with the military. There are better prospects for Imran to take control over foreign policy provided he consolidates his power and convinces the armed forces that Pakistan’s future and stability lies in developing a functional relationship with India, gaining the confidence of Afghanistan, building trust with the US and deepening ties with China.

MQM Turns Ghadaar Against Wishes Of Altaf Bhai

MQM to support PTI in forming government at the Centre, says convener

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Wednesday announced its decision to extend support to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for the formation of the upcoming federal government.
I guess they are right, when they say that power is an aphrodisiac :D
The decision was revealed by MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while appearing on Geo TV's evening show 'Aaj Shahzaib Khanzada Kay Saath'."Yes, we have agreed to cooperate with them [PTI] for the formation of [a coalition] government at the Centre," Siddiqui said when asked by the host whether his party is ready to join the Tehreek-i-Insaf.
The MQM-P won six National Assembly seats — four in Karachi and two in Hyderabad — in the July 25 elections, compared to 24 NA seats in 2013.
Altaf the MQM supremo had called for boycott !
However, even with just six seats, the MQM-P has become an important factor in national politics, since the PTI lacks a simple majority in the lower house of parliament and cannot form a government on its own.
"PTI lacks a simple majority" and Imran has already started "behaving" like a PM in waiting . What kind of a (tamasha) democracy is this, surely not "invented" in Westminster

Isoo Judge Snubs ISI .

No institution is prestigious: IHC responds to ISI request
August 1, 2018

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) Justice Aamer Farooq on Wednesday stated that no institution is prestigious [than others], reasoning that “all institutions are made of people”.
How dare this low life of an Isloo judge ( Aamer ) not agree that ISI is a prestigious institute, when the whole wide world has "certified" ISI as the "best" Spy Agency (even ahead of CIA and Mossad !)
The division bench, comprising Justice Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, has initiated the hearing of a case involving Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in which the country’s premier intelligence agency has requested the high court to remove several paragraphs from an order of IHC’s Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui.
In his July 18 order, Justice Siddiqui had asked the army chief and the top spymaster to stop meddling in affairs of other departments besides expressing concerns over manipulation of judicial proceedings.
Siddiqui, who has been "booked" on corruption charges is now on a mission to tarnish the "good name of ISI"
In the intra-court appeal (ICA), the AAG said Justice Siddiqui’s remarks are “not only unsubstantiated and unfounded but also direct attack/allegation on the appellants, the institution of Pak Army, judiciary” and specifically the IHC’s chief justice and other judges.
He said the order was circulated through the media and social media which “caused serious damage to the reputation of the country’s premier institutions of armed forces, intelligence agencies and the judiciary.”
“The impugned order is based upon mala fide and goes beyond the scope of justice and puts allegation on the appellants in a whimsical manner without substance,” he maintained. He has argued in the appeal that disputed questions of fact cannot be resolved while exercising jurisdiction under Article 199 of the Constitution.
This is one example of what can happen to someone in Pakistan, if he or she gets on the wrong side of ISI. Of course, Ganja is the supreme example of this !
Justice Siddiqui had alleged that the country’s intelligence agencies were interfering in the matters of the judiciary, media and the executive, and warned about the damages it could cause.“I must observe that persons [at] the helm of affairs of all the institutions need to protect [their] hard-earned independence and take remedial steps to stop the invasion by [the] personnel of [a] particular institution and intelligence agencies,” his order noted. Justice Siddiqui, accusing the spy agencies of interfering in the affairs of the judiciary wrote, “Everyone knows […] how proceedings are manipulated, from where strings are pulled and when power [is] wielded and maneuver[ed] to achieve the desired results.”
The IHC currently faces a trial in the Supreme Judicial Council in a reference of misconduct moved on the complaint of a retired government employee who alleged that the judge had his official residence refurbished beyond entitlement.

This ( Siddiqui) is the same judge, who in earlier "happy" days denied - with a straight face - that the ISI was in any way responsible for missing persons !!!

Now A British Legal Firm Has Been Hired To "Get' Altaf Bhai Back From Bartania

Services of British legal firm hired in money laundering case against MQM founder
August 1, 2018

KARACHI: Services of a British legal firm have been hired in connection with money laundering case against the founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain.
The case came up for hearing in an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) at Karachi on Tuesday.Informing the court about important headway in the case, the investigation officer said that the services of British legal firm have been hired by tightening the noose around MQM founder further in a money laundering case.He said that the British legal firm has started investigations and evidence is being collected. The investigators have visited Pakistan as well.
Someone in the Paki Govt ( maybe, the one who recommended this legal firm ) is going to make a lot of money on this "project" at the expense of the Paki taxpayer, specially in each in this day and age of cash crunch. The Deep State has already tried the Interpol and Scotland Yard route, to "get" Altaf, but have failed miserably
He told the court that the MQM founder succeeded in escaping in the past due to lack of services of a British legal firm. However, now evidence against the accused is being gathered from other countries. The details of 69 bank accounts have come to light so far, through which the money laundering was done.
Would not be surprised if there is an Paki connection inside the UK legal firm .[ Prestigious law firms usually bill by the minute plus they charge for photocopy, phone calls, courier services etc etc ( nickel and dime clients !) ]
The court was also informed about the misuse of funds of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, a subsidiary of MQM. The money was transferred continuously through MQM MNAs, senators and deputy mayor. Any progress in money laundering case will be informed to the court. MQM founder is involved in anti-state activities and bloodshed in Karachi.
It will be very very difficult to extradite Altaf Bhai, a holder of HMG Blue Passport !
According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), information has been obtained from Rangers, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and other institutions in the money laundering case.
Such "evidence" was earlier rejected outright by Scotland Yard and Interpol too. Even Imran sent to Scotland Yard (by Deep State) to persuade the Brits ( through his connections ) was unsuccessful !
Moreover, information was collected from other countries through the foreign ministry. Bank transaction records have also been sought from the British government and UAE authorities. :((
Have they (Deep State ) been sleeping on this job all these years !!!

Peregrine wrote:PTI wants to invite foreign dignitaries, celebrities for Imran Khan's oath-taking ceremony

Cheers Image

Saar,

With the presence of so many confirmed jehadis among the invitees, Modi would be seen in a very bad light if he attended the function.

He will not go because he simply cannot afford to go. The looming Indian general elections are far too close for Modi to take such chances.

It will also be a serious attempt to embarrass him publicly if such an invitation from PM designate IK Niazi was received. He surely will, for example, be introduced to hafiz syed in full public glare of paki and international media, providing the congis with very heavy duty ammunition for 2109.

hafiz syed will insult Modi during the introduction to make his point and the ISI will then fully control the narrative from there on.

So it's just "bum chums" then??

Aamir, in a statement given in to News18, said, "I am not going to Pakistan. Haven't received an invitation for Imran Khan's swearing in. He also added that in the event of him getting an invite, he is "too busy to go".

" Among those reportedly invited, Navjot Singh Sidhu accepted the invitation on Wednesday, calling Imran a "man of character"

First and foremost, India would have said "NO" and the rest of the SAARC gang would have taken note and followed suit, leaving Niazi high and dry.

Niazi's PA handlers would have backpedaled furiously and presto, no "foreign personalities".

It always pays to scout the lay of the land and check the direction of the wind.

DJinnah's ( Dentist) Sister Dubbed "Indian Agent" By Field Marshal Mohd Ayub Khan , Presidento Of Pakiland

When Ayub Khan Accused Fatima Jinnah Of Being An Indian And American Agent
(relevant even today in the conspiracy theory environs of The Lund Of The Pure !)
November 26, 2009

This story is from the Time Magazine datelined Christmas Day 1964. It sheds interesting light on how far back this game of the security establishment conjuring up images of US-India collusion go. Ayub Khan actually accused Fatima Jinnah of being pro-Indian and pro-American. Oldest trick in the security establishment’s book. -YLH ( Good Ole Hamdani, the self -appointed "protecter" of DJinnah legacy !)
“They call her the Mother of the Nation,” sniffed Pakistan’s President Mohammed Ayub Khan. “Then she should at least behave like a mother.” What upset Ayub was that Fatima Jinnah looked so good in pants. The more she upbraided Ayub, the louder Pakistanis cheered the frail figure in her shalwar (baggy white silk trousers). By last week, with Pakistan’s first presidential election only a fortnight away, opposition to Ayub had reached a pitch unequaled in his six years of autocratic rule.
Fair skinned, well built and Sandhurst trained Ayub looked down on the Mohajir Fatima as "inferior", so this makes sense, IMO
The Big Stick. White-haired Miss Jinnah, 71, the candidate of five ragtag and usually disunited opposition parties, was picked mainly because she was the sister and confidante of the late revered Mohammed Ali Jinnah, father of his nation’s independence. But Pakistan’s response to her razor-tongued attacks on Ayub’s highhanded ways has surprised and shocked the government. Students throughout the nation staged angry protest marches against the regime, and at least one demonstrator was killed by police in Karachi. DOWN WITH THE AYUB DICTATORSHIP, cried posters in the East Pakistan city of Dacca, where students enthusiastically proclaimed Miss Fatima Jinnah Week. In Karachi, Pakistan’s biggest city, student unrest prompted the government to close all the schools indefinitely.
Ayub Khan decided to move Pakiland's capital city from "messy and mojahir dominated" Karachi to the cooler climes, near GHQ in Pindi Chana, and must closer to the jugular vein of Pakiland  !
Most legal groups in Pakistan have come out for Miss Jinnah, and were denounced by Ayub as “mischiefmongers.” In reply, the Karachi Bar Association overwhelmingly adopted a resolution urging “the party in power to get rid of the notion that wisdom, righteousness and patriotism are the monopoly of their yes men.” The usually complaisant newspaper editors defied the regime’s attempts to make them endorse a restrictive new press law.
Ayub followed a strict regimen of press censorship, crony capitalism , mullah bashing and of course Anti- India rantings !
To Ayub’s claim that he is trying to develop “basic democracy,” Miss Jinnah replied: “What sort of democracy is that? One man’s democracy? Fifty persons’ democracy?” As for Ayub’s charge that the country would revert to chaos if he is defeated, his rival snapped: “You can’t have stability through compulsion, force and the big stick.”
Ayub's "theory" that democracy is only possible in cold countries and not suitable for Pakiland's "hot climate" has been re-echoed by all Paki dictators including Zia, Mush and the like of Jahil - Ham- Eid ! [/color]
Running Scared. Actually, Ayub has been a reluctant and benevolent dictator, who has vastly improved the stability of a country that was paralyzed by squabbling politicians before he took over. Considering Pakistan’s backwardness and poverty, the Ayub-designed electoral system is not half bad, giving the vote to 80,000 middle-and upper-class electors. While that is a tiny percentage in a total population of 110 million, most of those millions are not only illiterate but totally ignorant of political issues. With heavy support in rural areas, where many Moslem electors particularly disapprove of a woman’s candidacy and where Ayub’s economic reforms have helped more than in the cities, Ayub is still expected to win the election by some 60% of the vote
In Pakistan, the establishment ( and fauj) favored candidate always wins - by hook or by crook ( like Imran ) . The only upset occurred when Yahya "ordered" general elections and the unexpected happened, with disastrous consequences for the "western wing". The "eastern wing", with the "help" of "Hindu India " suddenly collapsed
Nonetheless, he is running scared, because Candidate Jinnah has managed to focus every form of discontent in the country. To brake her bandwagon, he abruptly decreed that elections would be held Jan. 2, instead of March, as originally scheduled. Explaining lamely that the situation is “a little tense,” the government also rescinded a law specifying that political rallies must be open to the public.
Many still believed that Ayub - like Gen Pajwa now - rigged the election !
At closed meetings with groups of electors, Ayub answered practical questions sensibly enough, but kept lashing out at the opposition with growing anger. Countering Miss Jinnah’s repeated charge that he had been unable to restrain the U.S. from helping Pakistan’s No. 1 adversary, India, he set out to portray her as pro-Indian and pro-American. Ayub’s campaign, in fact, was turning increasingly anti-American.
IMO, Ayub "invented" the bogey of "agent of India and America" for political opponents and it has been used successfully against Mujib, Altaf and now Nawaz
Though U.S. aid (about $5 billion since 1951) is vital to the nation’s wretched economy, a leading member of Ayub’s party cried: “America never was our friend and never could be, because as a nation aligned with the anticolonial movements, we are at cross-purposes with America.” As for Ayub, he plainly regretted ever calling elections in the first place. For after six years of insisting that Pakistanis were not ready for democracy, the campaign had shown that Mohammed Ayub Khan probably isn’t either.

It is a specialty of all Paki rulers to "bad mouth" the hand that feeds them ( USA ) and Ayub's Govt was no exception !!

Iran has stopped transmission of 80MW electricity to Balochistan's coastal areas, Senate told

Officials of the Power Division said that it was because of heatwave and resultant load shedding in Iran that it had stopped exporting electricity to other countries, affecting the supply on the Makran coast, including Gwadar, Panjgur and Pasni.

Paki Foreign Office In Damage Control Mode. Re: Those Stranded Pakis In Cheen

214 Pakistanis stuck in China have been brought back, says FO
August 2, 2018

The Foreign Office (FO) said on Thursday that they have brought back 214 of the 260 Pakistanis stuck in China via different flights.

As many as 260 passengers of Shaheen Air were reported stranded in the Chinese port city of Guangzhou as the flight could not take off. According to FO spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal, efforts are underway to bring back the remaining Pakistanis.“Reports saying that Pakistanis have been detained due to visa expiry are incorrect,” said the FO spokesperson. “Shaheen Air is attending to the remaining 46 passengers. Of them, only 15 passengers have an expired visa.” He said that the Pakistani consulate is in touch with the Chinese authorities to sort out the visa issue. “The private airline will arrange for their return to Pakistan on alternative flights,” he said.According to Dr Faisal, two passengers who were interrogated by Customs officials had spread the rumours about detention.

From the tone of the language, it seems that a "raw nerve" has been pricked . And the damage control machinery of the GOP has swung into action to stop the "good name of Pakistan" to be sullied once again. Maybe, some sort of a "Chini danda" might be the catalyst . After all, they do not want 214 bhooka nanga Pakis to start "begging" at the Guangzhou Airport for food and water . They do not want THEIR image to be sullied either
