Iran FM. "Demands" Action From The Pakis

Pakistan launches 'active efforts' to ascertain whereabouts of missing Iranian guards
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Minister of Iran Javad Zarif called Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Wednesday to discuss ( discuss is a mild word, "demand the return" is the right word ! ) the situation arising following abduction of Iranian guards near the Pakistan-Iran border point of Mirjaveh
According to ministry of foreign affairs, Qureshi expressed his serious concern on the incident.
Has Qureshi talked to the ISI yet
He also briefed his Iranian counterpart about the active efforts launched by the Pakistan law enforcement agencies to ascertain the whereabouts of the missing Iranian guards, in coordination with the Iranian military and intelligence counterparts. :((
Immy, Qureshi and the whole Paki Govt is on the defensive on this !
It was noted that the two Directors General (Military Operations) were in close contact through hotline to coordinate the search and rescue efforts including enhanced air surveillance and troops deployment in the border area where the incident took place.
Reaffirming Pakistan's commitment of not allowing anyone succeed in such malicious efforts, Qureshi noted that Pakistan and Iran have traditionally shared a 'border of peace and friendship' which would be maintained in the same spirit.Javad Zarif thanked Qureshi and underscored Iran's desire to overcome all hurdles jointly with Pakistan in maintaining complete peace along the Pak-Iran border.
Pakistan still to go ahead and some "honest brokering" between Saudia and Iran, for the sake of Ummah Unity.

Another U Turn ? According To THIS Report, The Khan Is Re-Thinking The IMF Bail- Out

Pakistan may not go for IMF bailout package: Report
Oct 17, 2018
ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has hinted that Pakistan may not seek IMF bailout package as country is in contact with the friendly countries over the economic crisis.
He said that Pakistan might not have to approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for loans.
In a meeting with journalist bodies, the prime minister said he hopes the government would be able to fix economic issues soon with its policies.
The broken record/ dead horse of "$ 200 Stolen Monies Mantra" to be revived once again ? Saudis won the oil lottery and change their mind? or the "shrewd" Chinis have "forgiven" the loans earlier dolled out ? Or Pakis join FATF black list and cannot get the IMF loan anyways . These are the alternatives that come to mind, unless the Kaptaan is just "blowing hot air" (most likely scenario IMO)
The government is also in contact with friendly countries for resolution of economic issues, he said. The government recently announced his decision its approach IMF amid severe criticism from opposition for taking a U-turn on the issue.
The Kaptaan is now going to be remembered for his U Turns onlee

Does Umer Not Know That The Kaptaan Has Now "Changed His Mind" About The IMF Bailout

Pakistan to seek $5 billion from other sources over and above IMF bailout package of $12 billion

IMF and China’s support - Editorial

THE public endorsement is likely a result of a great deal of behind-the-scenes lobbying.

It is welcome that China, via its foreign ministry spokesperson, announced its support for the IMF “making an objective evaluation of Pakistan based on professionalism and earnestly helping it properly address the current difficulty”.

For Pakistan, walking a familiar IMF tightrope has been significantly complicated by the increasing competition and hostility between China and the US on the global stage and in this region. The US, which at least until the Trump administration touted its adherence to a so-called rules-based world order, had initially come out in an almost ugly American fashion against CPEC, virtually demanding that Pakistan limit the scope of the project if the IMF is to be allowed to deliver a bailout package to Pakistan.

Take a look: US arrogance

At least publicly, the hostile and threatening US rhetoric has been toned down in recent days and it is, instead, the IMF leadership that has underlined the need for greater Pakistani transparency on its CPEC-related financial commitments.

What is not known is the extent to which China is resisting Pakistan sharing CPEC data with the IMF or, indeed, if there are binding covenants that prevent Pakistan from making public such data.

Worryingly, the PTI federal government may not have the expertise or the clarity necessary for navigating such fraught international political and financial challenges — though arguably no other Pakistani government would be considered well placed to deal with such complex challenges either.

Read: Rearranging CPEC

At a minimum, however, the federal government ought to use the imminent IMF bailout as an opportunity to draw some new lines in this country’s fiscal dealings with the outside world and transparency at home. The US hostility towards and seemingly the IMF’s scepticism of CPEC aside, there is no plausible reason for the PTI to continue with the excessive secrecy that characterised the PML-N’s approach to CPEC.

If binding commitments have been made regarding the secrecy of certain contracts and they can be justified in light of international best practices, the PTI government should publicly say so. If not, why is the PTI seemingly reluctant to place before parliament and other appropriate forums the full scale of Pakistan’s debt and financial exposure to China?

If new best practices are to be instituted and financial transparency promoted, the shackling and blindfolding of the State Bank of Pakistan under the previous PML-N government in particular will need to be reversed.

An autonomous and empowered State Bank that has access to the full range of financial data is not only necessary for a well-managed economy, it could also help protect the public’s interest when IFIs and global powers squabble among themselves and heap pressure on Pakistan.

Whatever Washington’s motives, the IMF’s incentives and China’s fears may be, surely the Pakistani public deserves to know the full picture of the state’s financial liabilities, external and domestic.

Asia Bibi Case. Khadim Rizvi Flexes His Muscle !

A never-ending ordeal
The News International - Rabia Mehmood
Oct 16, 2018
As the world awaits the Supreme Court’s verdict on Aasia Bibi’s unjust conviction and death sentence in a blasphemy case, hardliners have started agitating both online and offline, increasing pressure on the authorities to uphold the sentence. A not-so-cryptic tweet by Rizvi Media of Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLYR) reads: “Think carefully before making any decision.”
Posters have gone up in La-Whore . The Paki Establishment is "afraid" to silence him. Deep State support !
he fate of those unjustly accused of blasphemy hinges on this emblematic case, which has created an environment of fear and hostility for Pakistanis especially those who adhere to religions other than Sunni Islam.
Who is "more green"
Since Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer’s killing in 2010, I have interviewed and spoken to hundreds of Pakistani minorities. The impact of Taseer’s death, for taking a stand against Aasia Bibi’s arrest on blasphemy charges, came up a lot in the conversations. Many spoke about how unsafe minorities felt in Pakistan. If a governor could not be protected, then what of religious minorities, who are at a higher risk?.Eight years on, the situation seems to be getting worse. Prosecutions on blasphemy charges have expanded to the internet and people have been accused even for social media posts.
In February this year, a video of an injured young man, Sajid Masih, went viral on social media. Sajid alleged that he was tortured by an officer belonging to the Federal Investigation Agency who ordered him to have sex with his cousin, Patras. Unable to bear the humiliation, Sajid jumped off from the fourth floor of the FIA building.Patras Indreyas Masih, Sajid’s cousin, was charged with committing blasphemy – taken into police custody on February 19 after being accused of posting a blasphemous message on Facebook. The case, which was filed by a TLYR supporter, went to trial on April 30.
TLYR is mainstreamed by the Deep State, probably to keep Immy in check . !
Patras Masih’s lawyer and family insist that he was a minor at the time of the alleged offence. However, the authorities have prosecuted and tried Patras as an adult. His family says that, despite allegations in the media that his National ID card showed he was 21, his age on his CNIC was changed for him to be able to get a job and provide for his low-income family.
His birth certificate clearly shows he was born in 2001, proving he was 17 at the time of the post. Pakistan is party to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, according to which each child has the rights to freedom of religionand expression.
In addition to minors, the list of Pakistanis condemned under blasphemy charges include women, older people, persons with mental disabilities, teachers, school and university students and many others. In 2009, a blasphemy case against a Muslim woman living with schizophrenia, Zaibunnisa, was quashed by the Lahore High Court after she had spent nine years in jail and five in a mental health facility.

The question is: will Naya Pakistan take a stand against the religious discrimination that has hounded minorities for decades in Purana Pakistan?
Today, Patras Masih’s parents remain displaced from their home due to threats they have received since their son was accused. It is time for the justice system to ensure that blasphemy allegations are no longer used to silence and violate the human rights of any Pakistani.

Paki Journo Syed Saleem Shahzad ( Triple S ) Killed By ISI In 2011 Was A CIA Asset- Wikileaks

Re: Pakistan Journalist Vanishes: Is the ISI Involved?
The most interesting aspect is the killing of a journalist. Fine line between an investigative journalist and spy. When you rattle around topics nobody wants aired, you pay the price. Truth tellers always get shot. Its much easier to lie or make up stories.
ISI is fully infiltrated by sympathizers and operatives. So, he was killed by ISI. Will we find a smoking gun? No. Will anybody care about this dude? Not really. The Agency lost an asset. Life goes on. There is a reason the CIA set up unilateral operations in Pakistan. Suggest everyone read David Ignatius new book on CIA NOC and front company operations in Pakistan. Once again, he has gotten dead right.

The other thing is that each of these 3 people were with the ISI at one point. A former army chief confirmed to me that SSS was at one point on the payroll. Each of these guys had a falling out with the official ISI but maintained links deep within the service. These guys have also had ties to jihadists of one type while pissing off other more radical types. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Very interesting read . The back and forth E mails. The threat by the ISI who asked him to retract the offensive article about ISI, which he refused . And therefore was tortured and killed and his body dumped. Some sort of message to CIA :x

CM Murad approves Rs 7.5 bn poverty reduction strategy
 Wow! PKR 7.5 Billion!! What is that in USD? $55 M? That's all it takes to reduce poverty in Sindh?
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah approved poverty reduction strategy of Rs72.5 billion under which interventions would be made in education, health, water and sanitation and development t of internal village roads.
The villages would be given internal roads, water supply and drainage schemes, health facilities, vocational training and top of it a holistic approach would be made to improve quality of educational.
He took this decision while presiding over a cabinet meeting at 7th Floor of the New Secretariat.
New secretariat? Shouldn't that be converted to a university?

Big time U-turn!

Pakistan may not approach IMF: PM
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that Pakistan may not have to approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for loans.
the premier reminded that the government is consulting some friendly countries and urged them for cooperation.
Their response is positive.
The prime minster assured that people will start receiving good news in a few months in the wake of some harsh decisions as so many things will also be changed.
He said the government fully believes in freedom of expression and also welcomes constructive criticism. However, he said, the media should demonstrate responsibility.
So, the chinese have prevailed and protected their turf/secrecy.

Daesh money trail traced in Pakistan
The investigators have busted a suspected network of militants and businessmen and traced a ‘money trail’ involving over 50 bank accounts being used to finance the outlawed Daesh in Afghanistan, The News has learnt on Wednesday.
Karachi police had busted a kidnapping syndicate run by Daesh and arrested three suspected terrorists
the funds from kidnapping the youth in Gulistan-e-Jauhar were to be used to finance terrorism
investigators have so far detected over 50 bank accounts used to despatch money to the Daesh terrorists in Afghanistan from Pakistan
transferring funds through ‘Hawala Hundi’
The Daesh militants are generating funds from Pakistan including Karachi and their supporters, including some businessmen are helping them transfer money to other countries including Afghanistan
The JIT includes representatives of Inter Service Intelligence, Military Intelligence, Intelligence Bureau, Rangers, Sindh police’s Counter-Terrorism Department, AVCC, Federal Investigation Agency, the representatives of the State Bank of Pakistan and the Security Exchange Commission.
Suarly, getting out of the FATF list will be a cinch now.

Pagal Sehgal! Remember him? His India-phobia is obvious here. He must have had a good time interred in India after 1971.

Hybrid warfare challenges for Pakistan
Far more than any other country on its periphery Pakistan is a prime hybrid warfare target for India, this offensive is led by Indian intelligence agency RAW.
Using the Hindi phrase ‘kante se kantanikalna’...
Pakistan’s breakup in 1971, was the successful execution of this type of warfare by India.
On Jan 30, 1971 we fell for an India-staged hijacking of an Indian Airlines Fokker-27 named “Ganga” to Lahore, supposedly carried out by Kashmiri separatists, one of them was actually a RAW operative.
Taken out of service by Indian Airlines a year before the “false flag operation”, the Fokker was brought back into operation solely for this flight, was it a coincidence that all the passengers were RAW, BSP, police, etc personnel
Its blowing up at the Lahore Airport tarmac, was then used a pretext to stop all over flights between East and West Pakistan just when our developing internal political crisis badly needed physical (and psychological) communications for a direct route to remain and signify unity.
The Pakistan Naval Station Mehran was attacked in May 2011,by heavily armed gunmen targeting the P-3C Orion aircraft hangars, two aircrafts were destroyed while another was damaged. Has anyone ever really questioned why the terrorists walked past dozens of modern, expensive warplanes on the tarmac to focus on the P3C-Orions more than 1000 meters away?
Who other than India was the sole beneficiary in making our Navy temporarily blind and deaf
The Chief of Afghan NDSI Nabil, incidentally educated in Pakistan as a refugee during the Soviet occupation, candidly justified in a New York Times interview using Tehrik-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan (TTP) against Pakistan in line with Chanakhya’s tenet, “an enemy of an enemy is a friend”.
Training and administering NDSI personnel, RAW has been running almost all their operations mostly against Pakistan.
Balochistan has been the primary target of Indian ‘Hybrid Warfare’ for decades. RAW agent Lt Comd Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian Navy officer, entered Chabahar with a visa stamped on a fake passport and was arrested inside Balochistan
Jadhav was financially supporting Baloch separatists and militants, fuelling sectarian violence in the province and the country.
The virulent anti-CPEC campaign unleashed by hostile elements, particularly India, aims to deprive Pakistan of its benefits by sowing doubts and creating controversies and mistrust, particularly among the local residents of Balochistan
Propaganda alleges that Chinese military bases are planned in the coastal belt and Gwadar Port, and that Pakistan will become a Chinese colony
Another ‘hybrid warfare’ initiative was the stoppingof the flow of information by stopping the hawkers from delivering the newspapers throughout Balochistan province.
Israel in close collaboration with India has been pursuing over the years a media and psychological war through internet-based disinformation about the vulnerability of nuclear assets of Pakistan falling into the hands of terrorists create a dichotomy among the general public.
Last year, Indian hackers made an attempt to hack the Karachi International Airport as well as the Multan, Islamabad and Peshawar airports’ websites.
They also infected government systems and locked the computer data making it inaccessible to recover.
Strong leadership and institutional harmony for substantially enhanced civil-military cooperation is needed today more than ever before.

The community had earlier submitted a petition stating that a man, Maqsoodul Mulk, was trying to snatch their property.

"Zardari Computer Virus" Strikes Again

Millions detected in computer operator’s bank account at Peshawar hospital
ARY News
Oct 18, 2018
PESHAWAR: In a yet another case, millions of rupees were detected in the bank account of an employee at a hospital in Peshawar, ARY News reported. The amount was reportedly transferred in the bank account of a computer operator named Shabana employed at the Khyber Teaching Hospital.
Dus Percenti , who is usually very vocal on Paki politics has been strangely silent for the last so many months. He, and his sister, have been on the radar of FIA for Money Laundering worth millions and millions of rupees
This prompted the cyber crime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take notice and initiate an inquiry committee to investigate the matter.Director Finance Gulzar Khan has said the amount was inadvertently transferred into her account. He said the computer operator has no knowledge of the transactions and told him it may have been transferred by mistake. He said that Rs. 160 million have been recovered from the woman’s bank account so far. He also termed the alleged financial embezzlement as a technical error.
It may be recalled that the FIA had earlier this month claimed to have found several fake bank accounts in Khyber Paktunkhwa province with transactions worth more than Rs2.5 billion.

It is also as clear an indication as any, that the Pakjabi Army will not mend it's ways at any cost. Means short term pain for us, but also means that they are well on their way to being a B-grade version of North Korea (I say B-grade because the North Koreans at least are 100% literate and aren't religious nuts).

On the other hand, here's an article that seems to suggest answer why bakistan will keep on going to IMF.

Why Pakistan will go to the IMF again, and again and again
Pakistan’s formula for economic growth is as flawed as it gets: borrow foreign currency-denominated loans, build some large-scale infrastructure, get a minor growth spurt in the process, and wait until this growth spurt fades so we can repeat the process again.
When these challenges become dire — Pakistan often ends up getting a loan by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
This time, if we’re successful in persuading them which looks to be the case, will be the 22nd occasion we will be loaned capital by the fund since 1958.
And, if our public discourse and policies remain the same, we will without doubt keep knocking at IMF’s door every few years (or some other lender for that matter).
The problem with talking about the economy divorced from politics is that we end up with superficial reforms.
Dig deeper, we are exposed to the fact that Pakistan has developed little comparative advantage over the years.
Not true at all (the last statement). Bakistan is the bestest and mostest in IT. No one can compare with it. Why, even FATF has recognized this comparative advantage which bakistan enjoys over other poorly managed ammah's nations. Read the latest WEF report.

Immy Off To Saudia Next Week . Ummah Brother To Fill In The IMF Loan Gap

Imran Khan to visit Saudi Arabia next week
The News International
Oct 18, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Saudi Arabia next week, his second visit to the Kingdom in less than a month, Geo reported.
Citing sources, Geo reports the prime minister will make a short visit to Saudi Arabia before going to China next month.
PM Khan is expected to hold talks on economic cooperation with Saudi officials during his visit.
Seems that something is brewing ! Maybe, Cheen and Saudia may announce a joint bail-out package for Bhooka -Nanga Pakistan. And Immy is going there to appraise The Head Of The Two Holy Mosques on this important announcement . Hope for Pakistan's sake, that the Saudis come through on their promise , what with all the "bad publicity" that they are getting these days by butchering Jamal Khashoggi with a hack saw
Sources add a top-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates is expected t in Pakistan soon to discuss expanding economic cooperation.
So, the UAE ( which has tightened up visa issuance for Pakis !) is also pitching in to rescue the first and only Islami Atomi Takat .

PS: Imran should also invite his 92 year old "admirer" Malaysian PM Matahir to Saudia for "expert advice" . Umra should be the excuse for the trip

Immy Rethinks IMF Loan Deal After "Gup-Shup" Phone Call With "Oldie" Mahathir Mohamad Of Malaysia

PM Imran, Mahathir Mohamad stress high-level exchanges to cement ties
Oct 18, 2018
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Mohamad have highlighted the need for high-level exchanges between the two Asian countries and collaboration at the operational level to benefit from each other’s expertise.
In a telephone call with Dr Mahatir, the Pakistani premier conveyed the immense respect of his country’s people for the Malaysian leader as a statesman and global leader.
Immy is an "avid admirer" of the 92 year old ( who by the way, downplays his partial Hindu Tamil roots  ) who once steered Malaysia's economy out of choppy waters by not taking out IMF loans during the currency crises years ago !
Prime Minister Khan while underscoring the close and cordial bilateral ties between the two countries extended his heartfelt felicitations to Mahatir on the victory of Pakatan Harapan ( Mahahir's Party !) in the general election, a statement from the PM Office said.
Image
Imran Khan invited the Malaysian Prime Minister to visit Pakistan while Mahathir Mohamed accepted and reciprocated the invitation to him for an early visit to Malaysia. Prime Minister Imran Khan also accepted the invitation.According to a communique issued by the office of Malaysian premier, Imran Khan accepted the invitation to visit the country at the earliest.
No problem accepting an invite from an Ummah Country. Maybe a request for easing of visa for Pakis may also be on the cards

Meet the 23-year-old activist who could change Pakistan- A Profile Of Manzoor Pashteen
Prospect, UK
Samira Shackle
Oct 16, 2018
Naqibullah Mehsud was on his way to social media stardom. The 27-year-old, originally from Waziristan in Pakistan’s tribal region, lived in the distant southern megacity of Karachi and worked in a shop. An aspiring model, he posted photos of himself on his Facebook page, modelling new clothes, hairstyles and beard trims. By December 2017, he had over 14,000 followers. On 3rd January, plainclothes policemen walked into a restaurant and took Naqibullah away. Ten days later, he was dead. Police released a statement saying that he was killed during a raid on a “terrorist hideout,” and had links to Islamic State and the Pakistani Taliban. They said he died in an “encounter,” or shootout. In South Asia, this is often a euphemism for an extrajudicial execution.
According to many sources, the Pakistan Deep State has a deliberate policy of eliminating young intellectuals (mostly Balochi and Pashtun) who have leadership potentials. They did the same in their "old" East Pakistan, now Bangladesh !
The family denied militant links and it has subsequently emerged that Naqibullah was probably killed due to a case of mistaken identity.
His killer has been bail free and most likely will never be punished !
Naqibullah was of Pashtun ethnicity, from Waziristan’s Mehsud tribe. Divided by the Durand Line, Pashtuns live in Pakistan—where they are the second largest ethnic group—and Afghanistan, where they are the largest. But particularly since 9/11 and the emergence of the Pakistani Taliban, whose leadership also comes from the Mehsud tribe, they have been seen as a suspect community. The US-led invasion of Afghanistan, which Pakistan supported, led to the relocation of militant infrastructure and a large number of fighters over the border.Subsequent Pakistani military action against militant groups in the tribal areas was seen by some tribesmen as an attempt at subjugation, and, along with the influx of extremist ideology, this perceived grievance led to the formation of the Pakistani Taliban. One of the things that made it distinct from the Afghan Taliban was its explicit targeting of the Pakistani state.
There are Pakjabi members as well !
As the anger gathered pace, another young man from Waziristan watched carefully. Manzoor Pashteen was, like Naqibullah, from the Mehsud tribe. He was 23, educated and confident. Since 2014, he and some friends had run a small protest group called the Mehsud Protection Movement, which campaigned against human rights abuses. Trying to get attention for these issues was usually a losing battle: people were too afraid to publicly criticise the military.
But this felt different. Pashteen was in touch with Naqibullah’s relatives, and had used his own social media following to draw attention to the case. The young men spotted an opportunity, and organised a protest march from Dera Ismail Khan, a city in northern Pakistan, all the way to the capital, Islamabad. “I said to my friends, if there is anyone willing to die for his homeland and for the sake of humanity, then please join me,” Pashteen told me. “Twenty-two came and said they were ready to be killed. We decided to go to every city and tell people the story of extrajudicial killings, of missing persons.”
Within months, several major political parties and politicians expressed their support for the PTM’s demands—including Imran Khan. He seemed to provide some hope. Though born and raised in Punjab in the east, Khan is of Pashtun ethnicity, and his party, the populist Pakistan Movement for Justice, is popular in northwestern Pakistan. In April, two months before the election, he promised to ask the army chief to ease security checks and clear landmines.
Manzoor Pashteen was born in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), which, along with the adjacent province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is the main home of Pakistan’s Pashtuns.
I spent several weeks this summer in Karachi trying to speak to Pashteen. The young people who run the PTM were responsive and usually available online, but practical realities interrupted. Pashteen was constantly on the move, in a frenetic series of pre-election rallies and meetings, making a face-to-face meeting unviable. We arranged to speak on Skype when I returned to London; suddenly, Pashteen and a close associate who I’d been in contact with disappeared, not coming online on WhatsApp or Skype for a fortnight. Another member explained that sometimes they travel to parts of Pakistan affected by phone and internet blackouts—including South Waziristan, where Pashteen’s family lives. Additionally, security threats mean they sometimes go to ground. I finally caught Pashteen on the phone while he was in KPK’s provincial capital, Peshawar. It was late at night in Pakistan, but he talked for several hours, with friends passing in and out of the room.
Despite his early support for the PTM, as prime minister Imran Khan has remained silent. He is unlikely to make substantive changes, given a slim parliamentary majority and a close relationship with the military. The recent election marked Pakistan’s second peaceful democratic transition, but military power still lurks in the background. The crackdown on a non-violent civil rights movement—directed not just at the PTM but also at the media, NGOs and human rights advocates—confirms that real democratic participation is often unwelcome. In a recent press conference, a military spokesman criticised the foreign media for covering the PTM, which he described as “anti-state, anti-Pakistan, anti-army, anti-forces.”
The PTM is a nascent movement; its overarching future direction is unclear. Their immediate plan is to continue to hold rallies, raise awareness and attempt to hold power to account peacefully. But some members are beginning to consider their personal safety as the harassment ramps up. “I don’t want to die, because I have a lot to do,” says Ejaz. She pauses. “If I do die, at least they can tell people that there were men, but there were women too, who stood up to the strongest state agencies and asked for their rights.
In September, arrest warrants were issued for five PTM activists, including Pashteen, saying they had held a rally without the proper permission. The same week, a television advert in Punjab showed Pashteen’s face as a voiceover warned against terrorism and sectarian violence. (The ad was quickly withdrawn after an online backlash.) In statements to the press, core committee members began to talk vaguely about changing their approach.“We are non-violent, we are simply raising our voices and crying for justice, but the state is violent,” Pashteen told me. “To the extent that we continue to have hope that the state will stop killing our people, we will be non-violent and we will not be separatist.“But when we lose this hope, we will think again.”
Pashteen and PTM ( like the TTP and Mukti Bahini earlier ) have been labelled as "Indian Agents" by the Deep State . They have already lost half of their original "homeland" . Now they laying the groundwork for loss of Baloch and the Pashtoon areas by their oppressive policies

Pakistan Foreign Exchange Reserves Decline by $219m
Oct 18, 2018
The country’s foreign exchange reserves held by the central bank decreased by $219 million during the week ending on October 12, 2018.
The central bank said that the decrease was due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
Chini loans being paid off . Principal and interest !
It said that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $14,613.9 million on October 12, 2018. The reserves held by the SBP stood at $8,088.9 million whereas the net foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks stood at $6,525.0 million. The continued drop in the foreign exchange reserves has raised serious concerns about a potential balance of payment crisis.
The fast depleting forex reserves have compelled the PTI-led government to formally approach the International Monetary Fund for a bail-out package to fix the external account woes.
Currently, the government is in talks with the Fund to secure a bail-out package and an IMF delegation is scheduled to visit Pakistan for formal talks soon.

The latest ( U Turn that is !) is that Immy is flying to Saudi and then to Cheen to wrap up a bailout package from these "two friends" of Pakiland . IMF is off for now. But who knows what happens. The Saudis are notorious for procrastination . And "cheque is in the mail" excuse
