Lol even the Chinks don’t trust them with hard cash.
ISLAMABAD: China has ruled out giving hard cash to Pakistan, saying that it will invest in multiple sectors and launch business ventures instead of providing loans to the country faced with deepened financial crisis.

India shuns Pakistan, keeps it out of customs meet -TNN

NEW DELHI: In another cold shoulder to Pakistan, India has not extended an invitation to the neighbouring country for a two-day meeting starting here on Tuesday where heads of Customs of at least 21 countries in the Asia Pacific will gather to devise a common strategy to counter organised crimes such as narco-terrorism,money laundering and gold smuggling.

Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), the lead agency organising the event alongside its 61st foundation day celebration, will hold discussions with representatives from South, South-East Asia, West Asia and international organisations.

Representatives of Interpol, UN Office for Drugs and Crime, and the World Customs Organisation are among the participants. New Delhi is likely to highlight recent cases of smuggling of arms and narcotics busted by DRI in the Akhnoor sector in J&K which showed deep linkages between drug-trafficking and cross-border terrorism.

"In the last three years, DRI has busted several international drug syndicates, besides 18 synthetic drug factories, illicitly manufacturing fatal drugs such as Fentanyl, Ketamine, Methamphetamine, Mephedron, Mandrax and Alprazolam," a senior DRI official said.

The DRI is the government's apex law enforcement agency responsible for countering organised crimes such as smuggling of arms, ammunition, narcotic drugs, gold, diamonds and counterfeit currency, among others. The agency also counters commercial frauds related to exports and imports of goods, plugging leakage of tax revenue and trade based money laundering and black money.

"Mutual strategy to counter organised crime related to drugs, precious metals and stones, environment, wildlife, money laundering and black economy are among subjects to be discussed at the meeting," the official said.

India will convey its concerns and seek to isolate rogue nations providing state patronage to narco-terrorism and organised crime syndicates. This is the first time that India has invited Customs heads of 21 countries to deliberate on forming a common strategy to counter organised crime.

"Direct interaction among partner Customs administrations will enhance cooperation and sensitise our counterparts for mutually addressing concerns of India and global community in ensuring public welfare, safety and security," the officer said.

Besides huge quantities of heroin smuggled from Pakistan, DRI had seized smuggled gold valued at about Rs 970 crore last year. Smuggling of precious metals and narcotics is a prime vertical of organised crime with direct implications to black money generation and money laundering, according to the agenda note to be taken up at the gathering.

In I'm the Dim's naya pakhanistan:

Qatari prince allowed to hunt houbara bustard
Though the Balochistan government has approved guidelines to ensure implementation of the law for the wildlife’s protection, authorities have issued a special permit to a Qatari prince, allowing him to hunt internationally protected houbara bustard in the province.
Sources said that the Qatari prince had paid $100,000 before he was issued the permit for hunting the migrating birds.
Hunting parties are set a limit of 100 birds in a maximum period of 10 days, but they often exceed their quota.

Meanwhile, another good news from al qatar (and these two are not connected in any way).

Qatar offers 100,000 jobs to Pakistanis
The offer was extended by Qatar Foreign Minister in his meeting with Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly session in New York on Wednesday.
Quid pro quo! $100,000 hunting fee for 100,000 jobs to pakis. Must be balochis who get the jobs.

Stocks bleed as KSE-100 dives over 1,200 points in intra-day trading - Salman Siddiqui

KARACHI: Stocks took a beating as the KSE-100 nosedived over 1,200 points in intra-day trading, falling well below 40,000 early Monday.

The plunge came after the central bank projected downward real economic growth at around 4 per cent in FY19. At 11:06 am, the KSE-100 index – a benchmark for market performance – was down 1,215.93 points or 3 per cent to stand around 39,280.10 points.

In its previous projection two months ago, the State Bank of Pakistan had anticipated the growth at around 5 per cent against the government’s set target of 6.2 per cent for the year. Besides, the shocking 1.5 per centage point increase in the benchmark interest rate and 3.8 per cent depression in rupee against the US dollar on Friday also prompted investors to sell shares at throughway prices.

“The developments in the economy are all set to impact earnings of the companies listed at the PSX,” Topline Securities analyst Nabeel Khursheed told The Express Tribune.

The central bank’s latest measures are aimed at cooling down aggregate demand in the economy to fix it. The measures would accordingly lower down demand for commodities like fertiliser, steel and cement. It is due to this reason that the relevant stocks are facing massive selling at the exchange, he commented.

The analyst said the interest rate hike to a six-year high of 10 per cent and an all-time low rupee at Rs139.05 to the US dollar has made an investment in government paper much more attractive than stocks. “Pakistan Investment Bond now offers a 12% return,” he said, adding this has made stocks unattractive.

CJP Damn Squib continues with his wet dreams
Fix water quality in 7 days or face shutdown, CJP warns mineral water companies.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Monday directed mineral water companies to pay the price of ground water and fix the quality of their water by next Monday, warning them that the companies would otherwise be shut down.
:rotfl:
"They are taking water from Indus River and canals. They are cleaning the water and selling it," CJP Nisar said, remarking: "There should be a restriction on mineral water companies."
Err... wasn't India 'stealing' all the water of the Indus? So where is the water? Or is it a RAA conspiracy?
Environmental Protection Agency Director General Farzana Shah told the court that mineral water companies source their water from the ground and canals in Punjab, replacing the canal water with sewage.

The tainted water, she said, is then used by farmers to water their crops.
Justice Nisar lashed out at the companies' lawyers, saying that they would "make this country into Ethiopia".
Isn't it already there? Begging all over, including 'Begging', China.
CJP Nisar was of the opinion that people should stop consuming bottled water.

"They don't give one paisa," he said, adding: "If these companies give money, our dam will be made. We don't need anyone else."
Ahh... there is the wet dream of the Dam(n) Fund!

Imran Khan says Kartarpur corridor's opening was not 'googly' – PTI

ISLAMABAD: Attempting to do some damage control, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the Kartarpur corridor's opening was not a googly but a straight-forward decision, contradicting his foreign minister's remarks that led to a war of words with his Indian counterpart. Sushma Swaraj's stern reply has Imran Can't "shivering in his boots".

Union ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri along with Congress Leader Navjyot Singh Sidhu attended the event in Pakistan on November 28.

On Thursday, foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Prime Minister Khan bowled a "googly" to ensure Indian government's presence at the groundbreaking ceremony of the landmark Kartarpur Corridor.

Qureshi's controversial comments drew sharp criticism from India with external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj saying his comments "exposed" him and that Pakistan has "no respect for Sikh sentiments".

Asked to comment on the recent war of words between Qureshi and Swaraj, Prime Minister Khan said that Islamabad is sincere in establishing peaceful ties with New Delhi.

"The Kartarpur corridor opening was not a googly or a double game but a straightforward decision," Khan told Geo news.

On November 26, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh laid the foundation stone for the Kartarpur Sahib corridor in Gurdaspur.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, Swaraj said: "Mr. Foreign Minister of Pakistan - Your Kartarpur 'googly' remarks in a dramatic manner has exposed none but YOU. This shows that you have no respect for Sikh sentiments. You only play 'googlies'.

"Let me explain to you that we were not trapped by your 'googlies'. Our two Sikh ministers went to Kartarpur Sahib to offer prayers in the Holy Gurudwara," she said.

In cricket, when a leg-spinner delivers an off spin bowl using the leg-spin technique, it is called googly. It is a legspinner's prize weapon which is almost undetectable.

The corridor will connect Sikh faith's founder Guru Nanak Dev's final resting place in Pakistan's Kartarpur to the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Punjab's Gurdaspur district in India, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the Sikh community.

The much-awaited corridor will connect Darbar Sahib in Pakistan's Kartarpur - the final resting place of Sikh faith's founder Guru Nanak Dev - with Dera Baba Nanak shrine in India's Gurdaspur district and facilitate visa-free movement of Indian Sikh pilgrims, who will have to just obtain a permit to visit Kartarpur Sahib, which was established in 1522 by Guru Nanak Dev.

The corridor is expected to be completed within six months.

KARACHI: A vehicle parked in an empty plot in the Defence Housing Authority’s (DHA) Khayaban-e-Mujahid area exploded early Monday morning, said police. According to DIG South Javed Odho, “the blast was caused by a homemade vehicle-borne improvised explosive device”. No casualties were reported in the blast which took place near the Khadda Market area.

The senior police official added that the vehicle was earlier stolen from Jamshed Quarters on Sunday. “At least eight to 10 kilograms of explosives combined with seven gas cylinders caused the explosion, along with a six metre long detonating cord.” DIG Odho further stated that the likely motive of the blast was to spread fear among citizens. Bomb Disposal Squad collected evidence from the site of the incident and more information regarding the incident will be released after investigation, said officials.

PESHAWAR: A reporter of private TV channel was killed and a cameraman was injured in the firing of armed men on a vehicle in the provincial capital on Monday.

Police said that unidentified armed motorcyclists sprayed bullets on a vehicle of a journalist at Achini Chowk in Sarband area of Peshawar. The assailants sped the scene after committing the crime. The body and injured were shifted to hospital where the condition of the wounded man was also stated to be critical.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Union of Journalist strongly condemned the incident and criticised the provincial government and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) over failure in providing security to journalists. Baby killed in Sargodha on fake spiritual healer’s advice
https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/401255 ... r-s-advice
SARGODHA: A 15-month-old baby was allegedly killed on the order of a fake spiritual healer (Aamil) at Hathi Chowk, the police said.
The incident came to light after the baby’s family took the body to a hospital which pronounced her dead on arrival. The hospital subsequently informed the police which are now investigating the baby’s father, uncle and grandfather.

An FIR has been lodged by the minor’s mother against the father, nominating him for murder. The mother said she had been living in her parents’ home for 15 months after their divorce and the baby was living with her father. Moreover, the father had refused to hand over and threatened to kill the baby previously. He had also a number of times blamed the minor for “bringing bad luck”. The police said the murder might have been done on the orders of the Aamil.

More U-turns. This is when reality hits the paki face. This time by Sh. Chilli Rashid.

No increase in rail fares: Sheikh Rasheed
In August 2018.
no decision of increase in fares for railway passengers had been made as protection of rights of a common man was the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan
he said that railways would be revamped within 120 days
railways’ deficit would be brought to nil by the end of current year
“Love with railways means love with Pakistan,” the minister said.
https://dunyanews.tv/en/Pakistan/454115 ... kh-Rasheed

And, now this:

Railways to increase fares from next week in wake of rupee depreciation, says Sheikh Rashid
Today.
Pakistan Railways will increase the fares of its popular destinations from next week in wake of the rising exchange rate of the dollar, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid announced on Monday.
The rationale behind the increase in fares is the rising cost of imported spare parts on which Pakistan Railways is spending additional foreign exchange in wake of the rupee depreciation, he said.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said he had himself learned about the devaluation of rupee from news
I used to get informed of rupee’s devaluation through news, even.
We’re having huge investments now
We are not afraid of our deeds being exposed.
Khan said that there was no civil-military discord in his government.

“Halal meat trade is worth 2000 bn USD, worldwide. We are a livestock nation. We can make the most of this opportunity area.”

Thats a good idea put leather tanneries as soon as the Indus water enter Pakistan, convert Grains and Orchards to Livestock farming and shut other industries, Lifestock farming with Meat and Leather along with large scale open cast mining, largescale use of firewood by cutting down all trees is the future way for Pakistan to go.

Similarly Pakistan should look to earn Forex from Sui gas fields rather than waste it internally.

And, you heard it here first.

There is no economic crisis in the country: Finance Minister Asad Umar
Eat your hearts out, Yindoos! And, screw you, IMF.
Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday rejected the notion that the country is facing an economic crisis, saying the "financing gap for the current fiscal year has been met", Radio Pakistan reported.
He said "those spreading rumours about the economy are not doing any favour to the country".
The minister's comments come a day after stocks suffered the worst single-day decline in 16 months as the KSE-100 index tumbled 1,335.43 points (3.30 per cent) and closed at 39,160.60.
He also pointed out that exports are increasing while imports and current account deficit are witnessing downward trend
All is well. Pack up and go home, y'all.

Jabba the Hutt has spoken.

Shireen Mazari’s advice to Zalmay Khalilzad for Pakistan visit
Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari on Tuesday told US Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad that he should bring a ‘less arrogant and hostile mindset’ when he comes to Pakistan.
That's right. There's already plenty of arrogance and hostility in pakhanistan. Khalilzad, an Afghan, will certainly pay heed to this sort of advice. This should be fun to watch.

Meanwhile, Sheikh "Chilli" Rashid said this in response to the video.
"I am in that stage of my life where no one should feel danger. I am 70 year old now. People think of old days. But,this is a new Shiekh Rashid,".

Next fiscal year is a whole few months away.. Why bother now?

then the beggary may restart at earnest..

I hope the Pak public realize that all the begging and bailouts that have been brought in, help them only for the current year's debt servicing. For the next fiscal year, Dimran and Asad Umar must service either the chinese or the araps to get more moolah.. the problem is, is anyone still interested in getting serviced by the Pakis? No amount of vaseline is going to help..

The only to way to fix their economy is to make painful course corrections and the ship might right itself is a few years..
but, hey! This is lala land! who cares? Time to provide moral support for Cahmere, Palestine, khalistan and .. we will revisit this problem after 6 whole months..

Oh and cheenis would want their share of arm, leg, liver and spleen.. once the repayments/ returns for the CPEC loans come calling.. Good luck!
