Blr South voter.

The early rush to booth was from a segment of IT VITY crowd who wanted to do their civic duty and then leave town taking advantage of 4 days holiday. (Including a forum stalwart who shall remain unnamed :P ). However, this segment is almost 100% BJP voter and they have done their job.

The final tally of 55% is not bad given historic precedence, both in terms of voter turnout and result.

Relatively lower campaign effort from BJP but we received sms with all the necessary details 2 days before the voting day from the local mls as well as on the voting day morning by the candidate.

Given the tech savvy nature as well as commitment of the crowd I think this is a right strategy to concentrate time and effort elsewhere as needed.

The Bengal and Kerala vote bank for Commies is by Hindus.
The minority (Muslims+Christians+Secular Hindus) always voted for Congress.
The reason why Hindus voted for Left is they wanted a new beginning from the past and thought that was the vehicle.

Turned out its a Pied Piper to disaster.
In Bengal the Left had to be dislodged and TMC was the vehicle.
Jihadidi combined the minority+ BD vote of the Left to dislodge them.
Now her former Hindu supporters see the chance to get rid of her and took support of BJP.
In grand narrative style its the redux of the overthrow of Siraj ud daulah.

Kerala is a little more complex as the Congress retains its minority vote bank.

Will take one more iteration.

I expect Pinnaryi to unleash the PFI and his red shirts after 23 May.
However true the bolded part may be in terms of analysis, let's not mainstream that line.

That parallel to bring in British rule to overthrow Siraj will play badly among all bongs - both Hindu and Muslim. Will tarnish the BJP supporters further as traitors.

One thing everyone needs to understand is that the kind of social stigma any BJP supporter faces in WB is unparallel in rest of India barring Kerala. The RSS and Hindutva had been thoroughly demonized and dehumanized.
Yes, Bankim, Rishi Aravinda, Swami Vivekananda et all are Hindu icons but there are other equally revered Bengali icons like Raja Rammohan Roy and Iswarchandra Vidyasagar who faught for malpractices like Sati, Kulin, Bahubihaha, Jaat and segregation etc in Hindu society on pan India basis. Writers like Rabindanath and Saratchandra and even Bankim have written tomes about those malpractices.

There is a dormant fear that a Hindu resurgence can bring in those malpractices back. This is prevalent in the entire society, both urban and rural, literate and illiterate, as they have become part of social memory. And BJP supporter has an uphill battle against that fear. Let's not me his job harder.

The BJP worker in UP lost heart today

As Phase Two polls come to a close, the Gathbandhan and the Congress have a lot to celebrate in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP worker knew this by noon today.

We have been tracking a sample of polling booths today to try and understand who was showing up as part of the overall turnout numbers the Election Commission releases. (To be clear: we are not asking questions or carrying out an exit poll).

First, the turnout numbers as of 7pm:

Constituency 2014 Turnout 2019 Turnout
Agra 59.06 59.6
Aligarh 59.48 62.8
Amroha 71 68.77
Hathras 59.78 61.25
Bulandshahr 58.33 62.14
Fatehpur Sikri 61.29 61.16
Mathura 64.33 60.56
Nagina 67.83 62.1
As we look at these numbers there are three things that are abundantly clear:

The anti-UPA vote that converted the pro-Modi vote to a tsunami that swept aside all contenders in 2014 is missing in Uttar Pradesh. Without it, the BJP is only competitive in its traditional burroughs.

Secondly, there is still a group of people voting for Mr Modi (versus the classical BJP voter) — typically young voters who are deeply attracted to the idea of a strong leader — but there is also a group of voters who voted for him in 2014 who are not voting for the BJP this time.

Thirdly, it’s these voters who’re staying home who are tipping the scales.

As we analysed trends emerging from the booths we are tracking, we believe it is now safe to presume that a significant portion of the Jat vote that is turning out is not voting for the BJP. The Dalit vote and Muslim also seems to have consolidated behind the Gathbandhan.

What surprised us today was how chatter amongst BJP workers died out between around 10 and 12 in the morning today. By the late afternoon, the BJP worker was openly saying there is no Modi wave left and were expressing a sense of betrayal — some of it directed towards their own party, but a lot of it towards voters they felt were betraying the country by not voting for Mr Modi.

We are doubling down on our pre-election models where we had predicted the BJP was being over-indexed, and the Congress under-indexed. While pollsters did their best to predict outcomes for the SP-BSP-RLD Gathbandhan, almost all of them wondered about how votes would transfer. We believe that a model only based on raw vote-share numbers also naturally under-indexes the Gathbandhan.

Use the vote share modifiers on our Poll Arithmetic map to address this and see what kind of a map you end up with.

If this performance continues in the next two phases, we believe the media narrative towards the Gathbandhan will shift and start calling it a “masterful political stroke” or some such moniker.

Five more phases to go, and the fun is just beginning,

But even keeping that aside, what data points has he released except easily available voting % and making generalizations on that basis?

So i searched "Modi interview" in youtube just now & note how youtube pushed a "factcheck" by BIF presstitute Quint which sat at the top of my search results.
This is the level of support BIF is getting from overseas globalists to do anti-Modi propaganda.

The factcheck itself is full of lies & half truths by targeting few selected statements of Modi out of context & rating the whole interview of the PM as "FALSE" in capitals.

Let me tell you all one thing -
Bengal is changing slowly....If not this time, next time for sure BJP will wrestle the power here....
Left's demise and Mamata's rise has been a blessing for Sangh in Bengal which saw its historic rise. Within two years of Left's fall, Sangh's number of shakas increased by 300%. Earlier, the Left systematically killed Sanghis, and put all sorts of roadblocks for Sangh's expansions. ....
Now, Mamtaz Begum is trying her best to counter Sangh's rise. But since her's is a one person party, and factional infighting is rising monotonically, many TMC insiders are getting disgusted. Hence it's just a matter of time for BJP to come to power. The more the turbulence happen, the more Mumtaz Begum will pander to the green, and that will turn more the Hindus against her. It may not be visible in urban areas, but for sure happening in rural areas.

The Sadhvi must speak her mind freely - she was tortured beaten & confined for 9 years. She suffered a spinal fracture during torture & breast cancer during her confinement. All this just to force her to name big names in BJP/RSS to taint them with"Hindu terror" bogey while the astitva of larger Hindu society "bhaad mein jayein" being the congie thinking.

In five years or more people get used to benign behavior of BJP govts conducting themselves under the limits of Rajdharma - they forget how vindictive congress will be in stamping out any Hindutva opposition to its sickular regime when it comes to power. This complacency & forgetfulness is how MP & Rajasthan were lost to congies with few thousand votes difference.

The Sadhvi just needs to recount her experiences in her own words about the brutal nature of a Congress regime towards any one who calls himself/herself a proud Hindu and refuses to prostrate in front of the Sickular altars of the Congie regime.

Hindus tend to be a forgetful bunch - they need to be reminded the ramifications of being powerless under a Congress/Sickular regime.

They can forget the thousands of Hindu Sadhus killed in Delhi during the anti-cow slaughter agitation by Indira Gandhi.
Then the thousands of RSS & Sangh people who disappeared or made into walking dead during the Emergency.
Or the Mullahyam's massed killing of karsevaks and dumping their bodies in Sarayu in 1990 two years before Babri demolition.
Or the waves of terror attacks in Mumbai aimed at ordinary Hindus dispatching hundreds at a time starting from the Mumbai bomb blasts.

Let the Sadhvi remind how the bogey of "Hindu Terror" was foisted on Hindus when they are being battered by Islamist terror attacks both homegrown & paki sourced.
The congress regime unwilling to take decisive action against the Pakis & their Islamist votebanks of SIMI,IM etc in India decided to do an equal equal by inventing "Saffron terror" - seeking to hide their powerlessness against the Islamists by portraying Jihadi Terrorism to be merely a reaction against "Hindu terror" .
They chalked out the Communal violence Bill which labeled Hindus as perpetrators of violence while Muslims as the perennial designated victims .
Now the congress manifesto 2019 promises similar legislation called MASUKA where the sickular congie narrative of India having turned into a "lynchistan" against the minorities in the past five years is made permanent. This narrative was thankfully confined to media & presstitutes with Law never according it legitimacy. But now Congies will be giving it a legal backing under via the MASUKA legislation promised by in its 2019 manifesto.Significantly MASUKA amongst other things defines victims as those who have suffered even ‘mental and psychological harm’ by the "majoritarian mobs".
Under the MASUKA legislation ..... Most significantly, the victims of ‘hate crimes’ invariably turn out to be members of the minority community according to ‘civil society‘ even when the motivations aren’t religious. Similarly, Hindus are not called victims of hate crimes even when the motivations are religious.

She can be used leveraged to expose Kangressi C-system and atyachar on women ityadi ityadi on MSM. NDA can shoot at Kangress using P-Chat over Shiv Sena’s shoulder. Lilo ji, she should absolutely speak her mind but that should not be the only thing she says. She can be really inspirational and a real game changer for BJP beyond her own constituency if she does not restrict herself to 'vote for me because I was tortured'.
Yes, the scumbags did that and deserve to be punished mercilessly but she has to show something else to enthuse voters. Surely the voters are not expected to vote for her just because she was tortured ? If that was the case BJP would have been giving tickets to only relatives of slain members. It has not done so to my knowledge. Negativity ultimately does not work on its own, it has to be paired with a viable positive alternative for maximum impact.

IOW, what does she stand for ? Even a half decent narrative would go a long way, because all eyes would be on her. BJP has a big opportunity here to capture considerable mindshare, they should not squander it.

So no sympathy for Karkare and Kamte. Salaskar was a decent person who happened to be at wrong place and in wrong time. He was from crime branch and not ATS.

Entire mumbai ATS was RAW guys. Anyways- I hope this mess is cleaned up now.

Larger issue is our intel (especially RAW under AS Dulat) was seriously compromised. After 1997 actually - Gujaral Doctrine.

Search for Gujaral Doctrine. It was a peace initiative by IK Gujaral govt in 1997 - that India and Pakistan should inform each other of their intelligence assets in each other’s country and withdraw them from respective territories.

What an utter chutiya to have as a PM. BC, we defeated Vajpayee to have chutiyas like Devegauda and Gujaral.

Anyways - long story short: Pakis neutralized all our RAW operatives and their informers in Pakistan while we only sent them back alive.

17 months after our intel is gone, Kargil happens. Since then RAW has been problematic.

Even after arrest of Col. Purohit - Army said - it is our internal matter and we will deal with it through our internal court -martial procedures.

Karkare was a RAW operative brought in newly formed ATS directly.

Shows the breakdown in communication in Mannu years : when ATS blocks IB and Military Intelligence and blows their cover

Karkare (backed by Aba Patil of NCP - who is backed by Sharad Pawar) insisted on filing FIR in civil court. Once complaint filed in civil court - all cover blown.

What made Mumbai ATS overrule a “request” of transfer made by Indian army?

This sadhvi, aseemanand et al were low value ppl who were mostly curious bystanders who got caught up in inter-departmental civil war. The real target was Col. Purohit and his army operatives handling this entire operation (perhaps in collaboration with Mossad of Israel).

And I refuse to believe this was due to stupidity of Karkare or Aba Patil or Mannu. All these are accomplished ppl.

The have hinted at this inter departmental civil war between IB and RAW in the famous movie “Kahaani”

By slow, if you mean they stopped torturing her, showing per ***** and doing repetitive narco tests on her - you are right. After Modi came, all this stopped and NIA did go easy on her.

9 years (6 years under UPA) and they couldn’t press any charges on her. It was modi who pressed charges against her and brought her cases to closure.

MH ATS was as clueless as anyone on this.

ATS planted RDX on Purohit - they were busy doing that.

I mean- all due respect to Karkare, but these cases were not worthy of his stature.

Investigation should be objective. These guys in ATS (backed up of course by NCP-INC govt in Mumbai), made it ideological. That is where it went wrong.

Even after narco test’s negative results, there was no reason for not granting her bail and continuing her torture without filing any charges. Yet, she wasn’t granted bail nor were charges pressed. Why? Forget Modi, he came after 2014 (even he didn’t do it immediately- he should have).
