Came across this interview of this older man from Begusarai who is a Modi fan. Worth spending 12 minutes listening to him. Unfortunately speaks in Bihari (?Bhojpuri) but the Hindi translation is provided. Incredibly clear in his thinking and analysis.

Two things he mentions which I doubt the opposition has realized yet. One, he says the constant refrain of RaGa that Modi is a chor has hurt people deeply (dil ko cheer ke nikal gayi) and hence many will vote for Modi because of this, nobody likes the PM of a nation to be called such names. Second, Kanhaiya has no chance in Begusarai because nobody wants to vote for somebody who wants 'bharat tere tukde honge'.

The old man says 'if you watch Rahul Gandhi's expressions carefully when he is ranting about Modi being a 'chor', you feel that there is some mental deficiency there'.

Wish there were more people like him. Perhaps there are indeed and that is why there can be hope.

Report from KL: There was a lot of violence during the "crescendo" before 6pm on Sunday. Which could only mean BJP have made great inroads into the voteshare.

In one constituency Attingal, 56161 duplicate entries found in the electoral roll. Duplicate entry means same name, age and father's name, but different booth. Complaint made to election commission. Expect some fun there. Also, I am sure the list is being scoured at other constituencies as well.

There are many millions of ordinary Indians like this who have the clarity of thought and the resolve to understand what is going on in the country. They are far more capable of understanding than the Lutyens' gang or the clever people at JNU or DU.

It reminds me of what William F. Buckley once said, "I would rather be governed by the first 2000 people in the Boston telephone directory than by the 2000 people on the faculty of Harvard University."

As if on cue, NYTimes has published this article

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/22/opin ... andhi.html
Mr. Gandhi has made a turnaround over the last 18 months with sharp social media campaigns and assured public speaking, interacting with audiences in town hall settings, and making it a point to address press meetings....While largely focusing on secular messaging, Mr. Gandhi has burnished his Hindu credentials through a stream of visits to temples....Critics have mixed feelings about Mr. Gandhi’s party. They have long argued that there is scarcely a pathology in India’s political life that does not have its origins in years of Congress rule. But even they now recognize the value of leaders like Mr. Gandhi, who reaffirm constitutional values and practice a form of politics that seeks to represent all groups

I have somewhat of a more charitable view of INC.

They were always a party of patronage, driven by a central leadership whose only aim was to consolidate power within the family. Anyone remember Sitaram Kesari or the treatment meted out to PVNR?

Policy and ideology were always secondary. In IG's time, commies were gaining power in India (Look at the bollywood movies of those times, the hero invariably would be a union leader fighting for labor rights, the villain, the factory owner seeking to make profits). INC deftly co-opted them and made socialism a part of INC's platform. INC was the biggest stumbling block for the commies. Why would you vote CPI when they were indistinguishable from INC? On top of it INC is the party of Nehru and IG?

PVNR's economic reforms and their popularity meant that INC now made economic reforms a part of their platform. And now the emergence of BJP means that they are trying hard to make Hindutva a part of their platform.

Except RG is not IG and is confused and making a royal mess of it.

I think you are completely ignoring the overt hinduphobia that is now prevalent in the INC after the emergence of the Italian madam. The G family were always a bunch of somewhat deracinated elitists, but now they are European East India company types identifying those "races" loyal to the crown to rule over the Great Unwashed. The Hindutva approach was dropped as quickly as possible once electoral gains were made, and the core anti Hindu messaging remained intact. One is taqiyya, one is core. I suspect in next phase of their evolution, even regional Hindu leaders still in the Congress will gradually be disenchanted as they find to reach the core, one has to be of the right "faith" or a complete urban naxal. Many more NCP, YSR style parties will emerge.

The INC of UPA-1 and UPA-2 bears no resemblance to prior instances of INC. It’s true that their strong suit remains their ability to channelize patronage . They have assiduously built up intelligentsia, press and judiciary nationwide, giving them the basis of their longtime NPONG (natural party of national governance) position (Rudradev’s term)

Had UPA1 and 2 been just a combination of RG/PVNR administrations, they would not have been a big deal . However, the two UPA admins were VERY different . They saw:
- the dilution of the position of PM and PMO
- dilution of the Union cabinet and de facto replacement by an unelected council (NAC)
- active interference of cultural and educational instructions with the aim of destroying the position of Hinduism as a unifying basis of nationhood.
- active propagation of foreign evangelical influence
- extremely weak defense posture

These are all the result of SGs role in the INC . There’s not much harm in a pre SG version of INC - India needs both a center right and center left polity . However SG has destroyed what INC stood for, and since the Nehru-Maino family won’t step away from INC, the Congress Mukht Bharat effort is a worthwhile one .

At the land of the Holy Shiva :). Polling was to start from 0700Hrs till 1800Hrs. Hoping to find an empty polling booth I reached the place at 0715Hrs, only to find around 60 people already in the queue. There were separate queues for old men & women (with benches to sit) and for men & women. With the VVPAT and all that it is taking approximately 1-2 minutes to process a single voter. Voting in Holy Shiva's district took a dip at around 0900Hrs, but now it is to have once again picked up. But overall I am seeing a much more relaxed atmosphere with even the workers in the small party based election booths having a relaxed mood. All of them were seen looking through the voters nominal roll, perhaps to see how many voters are yet to vote etc. From the local known Sanghies I came to know that polling is massive this time around. Lots of folks marching into the booths.

And on the violence during the "crescendo" part; ex-Def Minister A.K Antony himself has received a "surgical strike" from the commies . In Kuttyadi, Kozhikode Rural Dt; commie cadres with faces covered took out a march brandishing swords (which is a kind of "first time" in KL). I am seeing Kerala slowly reaching the level of West Bengal under the command of Mumtaz Begum.

Came back to say: Lots of EVMs seems to have got dysfunctional in the district, especially from 1000Hrs to 1100Hrs and the technical teams had to rush around to get them re-fixed. The "secular" media also tried to spin a story that in one polling booth when voters pressed buttons for Congress candidate, it went to the BJP candidate :). I can also see a story of "dys-functional EVMs" getting readied on the side lines.
In one constituency Attingal, 56161 duplicate entries found in the electoral roll. Duplicate entry means same name, age and father's name, but different booth. Complaint made to election commission.
Don't know why but the Election Commissioner in charge of Kerala - Tikaram Meena IAS*; does not give me any confidence when it comes to impartiality. He seems to be also very keen on show casing his image. I was surprised to find his photograph on the Election Commission posters stuck on the polling booth walls (which was to explain some processes of elections). The KL State Election Commissioner was also trying to punch above his weight and dictating terms on what should be the campaign material etc. And it is even more surprising that this anomaly of multiple entries was not deteced by the District Collector of Thiruvanathapuram Dt. another lady who always gets a larger than life media coverage. My gut feeling is that moment the results are out, the loser candidates of Attingal would rake up this issue and ask for a re-poll.

* This same officer was also Dist. Collector at the land of Holy Shiva and at that time was said to be upright and non-corrupt. He really messed up the lives of two Abkari Contractors; one of who's son is now again in the lime light for wrong reasons.

Two seats - Anand and Sabarkantha are currently leaning CONgoons.
Two seats - Porbandar and Junagadh are in tossups.

Porbandar is Gandhi's birth place and is a controversial seat. It leaning towards BJP in 2014 was a surprise. But it did.

Anand on the other hand is currently a surprise leaning towards CONgoons. Since here the patidar agitation (Hardik Patel) fizzled out.

Sabarkantha is SC/Tribal. It is the women vote that will matter here (it generally cuts across caste lines!)

On INC vs. CONgoons., my grand-uncle (and aunt) were with Congress during freedom struggle. In fact, maternal grand-uncle took severe beatings at the hand of the Brishiters. He died in almost penury and none from the "INC" showed up. That made the entire family turn towards anti-INC.

On the paternal side, my elder cousin and his friend ended up in jail both being beaten black and blue. This led to permanent scars.

I have seen the corruption Madhavsinh Solanki indulged in with my very own eyes. Tankers of petrol were pilfered and adulterated with kerosene. All the funds going to divide Indians and killing them in communal clashes.

My own father barely escaped being culled in a communal clash engineered by CONgoons. The communal clash was engineered by CONgoons to replace the CM. Their goons on a friday evening went and chopped off women and child while the men were doing their Namaaz. This started a vicious cycle and the admin being in the pockets of their CONgoon masters were sucking thumbs while innocent people were dying all around. Just so that the CM can be replaced. This was *before* the illustrious Pilot Son who made the name of a canon a household name.

I would prefer anybody outside of the CONgoon familia, right from banditji.

Virtue signaling by Raghu Karnad. He is preparing for #pappus defeat. He is blaming media for that. Sample this:
Today, it is largely in pieces, at the feet of the figure of Rahul Gandhi on the stump. There he stands, challenging Modi in the presidential format – his every word distorted or drowned by mass-media manipulation – making high-minded promises he will not have a chance to deliver.
There job done. Mass-media manipulation to be blamed for #pappus defeat.

Yes, Rajeev was trying Muslim appeasement (followed by Hindu appeasement with the shilanyas). I wouldn't think of Rajeev as being anti-Hindu or anti-national. It is different with Sonia and her kids. They have innate hatred for Hindus and the country.

- western UP used to be famous for INC inspired riots places like meerut ...
- INC sponsored the takeover of western assam by BD migrants - leading to the assam agitation and the infamous sham election in 1983 - thousands died trying to fight for their homeland
- INC caved in and did not flood cashmere with resources to halt the ethnic cleansing of pandits in 1990-91- all of you would have 1 pandit friend with the same story - ultimatum was given by malsis to get out, or else men would be killed and women taken away.
- INC created bhindranwale and his ecosystem

I am not buying one bit that INC was just a bumbler and only transformed into a malign tumor in UPA-1.

INC has been anti-national in part ever since 1947 put them in place as B-team of the british. anyone who did not toe the nehruvian line was marginalized by the rashtra pita as in patel, bose and many more.

rashtra pita and banditji were little more than brown sahib stooges. pita's overt simplicity hid the fact he came from a rich family (son of the PM of a princely state) and went to london for studies. covertly he too was a elite. while both had some redeeming characteristics, from IG onward its turned darker and darker.

india could use other credible parties and visions, but certainly not the INC in its current shape.

Different kind of Patels. Charotar Patels don't vote for pro reservation. They are anti reservation. Demographics have changed somewhat in the charotar. Solanki outfit operates out of Anand and is not looked as anti Hindu so caste votebank politics wins here. Significant portion of Gujarati still don't see through INC and it's anti Hindu practices due to candidates and local workers that are out right anti Muslim behind the doors but more pro money.

Have witnessed this phenomenon in at least 3 elections there. Literally tens of thousands of women come out to vote, post-noon, in hundreds of small towns, and usually their vote is in the range of 70:30 in favour of Modi!

20 April at 06:20 ·

I was offered bribe to help frame CJI in the sexual harassment case by lawyering and organising a Press Conference against the CJI for the Ex SC staffer who has accused the CJI of sexual harassment just a few days back and also specifically asked to organise a press conference only at the Press Club of India.

When I refused the person who was initially praising my pro bono work in the Asaram Rape case for the victim etc and interestingly claimed to be her relative but on the other hand looked like a trained agent and he also couldn’t satisfactorily reply as to what was his relationship with the Ex SC Staffer and then suddenly offered me 50 lacs as my legal fees if I agreed to lawyer and again he asked me specifically to organise a press conference at the PCI after I refused as I found the story facts fishy and also he couldn’t reply to any question about the many loopholes in the story he narrated. When I again refused he said 1.5 Cr. I then asked him to leave my office.

I then enquired more about this issue from reliable sources in Delhi for days, every information pointed to a larger conspiracy to make the CJI resign and kingpin of which are many Delhi based SC fixers or those who engage in cash for Judgements.

I was convinced about a well planned conspiracy after days of getting such credible information.

I then finally went to CJI residence yesterday evening to inform him about the bribe offer and the conspiracy, around 7 pm. But his staff said he’s not at his residence. My CDR tower location details can be checked.

Later at night I then called a SC reporter with impeccable proven integrity to meet me today for an important subject and also asked him if he could arrange a urgent meeting or get a message sent to the CJI asap. I had also today morning planned to meet Prashant Bhushan Sir and Kamini Jaiswal maam about this.

But then today morning my perception turned out to be true.

After hours of ponder and soul searching, I have decided to speak the truth and file a detailed affidavit in this regard in the SC along with evidences of the conspiracy against the CJI by a lobby of disgruntled judges, SC fixers, corporate scamsters and a few corrupt Politicians - All who have meticulously planned the conspiracy to force the CJI to resign as their ‘Corrupt works were not going through in SC‘

After today I will not be appearing in any case in the court of the CJI. Also, I have never personally interacted with the CJI or anyone close to him, my electronic records etc are open to any independent scrutiny. I will leave legal practice if anyone can prove that I have associated or even interacted with CJI outside the Court room ever. As a matter of principle I don’t butter or bootlick judges.

I was stopped to go public by some senior wellwishers and told that lobby of judges who is planning this conspiracy will turn against me and harm me professionally. But my conscious doesn’t allow me to turn my face away and let history record today’s day as the darkest day in the history of SC.

I moved to Delhi from Chandigarh as I refused to be institutionalised in judicial nepotism. My grandfather is a retired HC judge who appointed many HC judges and father a senior lawyer, many of his friends or my family friends are HC Judges at PB HRY HC - Precisely the reason why I moved to lawyer in Delhi.

In SC until now I have only associated in SC with the likes of Prashant Bhushan and Kamini Jaiswal and with Anupam Gupta in PB HRY HC, all who are known for standing against financially corrupt and morally corrupt judges and against judicial nepotism, fearlessly.

I have till date never associated with any kin or kith of SC judges as principle of having a clean legal practice and refusing to be institutionalised in nepotism or be a member of the uncle judges young lawyer club.

Presstitutes, paid media and the return of NIRA RADIA!

No doubts left, not even the cursory figleaf.

Poor lootyens media is now compelled to do dalali openly. They are requesting to please form an alliance or their free tours, undeserving Padma shri all will be stopped

This is the disadvantage as well as the peril of being foisted on the governing body of Kamala Nehru College, a handsomely paid post, by khujliwal,. she is now obliged to play peacemaker to AAP, whether you like it or not, as a "Neutral Patrakaar".

Dear @RahulGandhi it would be best for you and @ArvindKejriwal to sit across table, shake hands and announce alliance. Please take his calls as he is an elected chief minister...the people of Delhi deserve all your best behaviour. #aapcongressalliance
