MMS has declined the invite.

Ex-PM Manmohan Singh agrees to be part of first 'jatha' to Kartarpur Sahib, says Punjab CM.

One thing that is predictable is how ingrained in Congres DNA is to act in anti-india interests. Worst part is an ex army man Amrinder Singh is facilitating this.

The fig leaf argument of Manmohan going at initiative of Amrinder Singh and not in response of Pakistan's invitation will now be offered.

You are jumping to conclusions and making baseless accusations.

It looks like neither Amarinder nor MMS will go to Pakistan for the corridor opening (what Pakistan sent an invite for). Hence Paki invite is declined.

What they plan on going for is the first multi-party delegation to the corridor after it's opening, for which Capt, MMS will also be joined by PM and President. So nothing shady or traitorous going on here, in fact Pakis must be tearing their hair out at this development which shows a united front.

I've been curious about this whole Kartapur corridor thing. While Pakis might want to open the Khalistan front and needle India, does it not also open the memories of the united punjab under Sikh rule? Isn't that detrimental to the cause of Pukistan.

Yes. They want to allow 10,000 visitors everyday and do not want any Indian official accompanying them, so plenty of opportunity for them to try to indoctrinate the visitors to provoke disturbance in Punjab. On top of that they are going to charge $20 per visitor as fee. Basically they are going to collect millions of dollars from Indian visitors and then use the same to finance trouble in India by turning around impressionable/gullible minds to use terrorism against India.
Neat piece of planning by ISI. Its upto India now to counter the same.
For starters India should not have conceded to pakistani demands of no officials accompanying the visitors and should have insisted on no fees for he visitors using the corridor.

Vips Ji:

The US$ 20 per visitor is for "Karda Prasad" etc. Being a regular visitor to Gurudwaras I know that the Gurudwaras do not accept cooked "cooked Food" for neither "Prasad" nor "Langar".

The Devotee offer a cash offer for at the time of "Matha Tekna " i.e Bowing to the "Guru Granth Saheb" on before sitting down while the Guru Granth Saheb and then sitting down with the Congregation of Worshipers.

For the Langar - we sit on the Ground in the Langar Hall and Partake a Meal will sitting on a "Long Roll of Matting" - and it a Meal wherein both Price and Pauper sit together as Equals i.e. there is no special Furniture or Hall for the Rich.

The Devotees offer Bags of Rice, Flour for Roties, Daal and Vegetable and the Food is prepared and served by Karsevaks i.e. there are not employees and perform as Volunteers i.e. they are not paid.

So the Terroristani Government will not be allowed to prepare the "Karda Prasad" but they can Charge a Visa Fee - If India is giving Free Visas to Terroristani "Devotees for Pilgrimage" to the Muslim Harats / Khwajas. India should insist for a an Indian Visa Fees for all Pakistani to have a Visa for visiting India as well.

India must never allow any Terroristani without charging him of her or child a similar fee and restrict their movement to "Corridors" as also limit their Number to say 1,000 or a number which Indian Yatris are allowed by Pakistanis to visit Hindu/Sikh Shrines in Terroristan in one Batch.!

Request : S Bajwa Ji : Kindly correct my above statement - Thanks in Advance.

I agree with Mr. Peregrine!

It is against Sikhism to charge money to visit a Gurudwara. Gurudwara are supposed to be open 24X7 run by local volunteers providing visitors food, shelter and anything else free of cost.

SGPC keeps some employees for overseeing operations, Security, logistics, education, etc. Majority of Gurudwaras only have 1 or 4 employees who take care and oversee things and are involved in things like marriages, deaths and other functions.

There is no concept of Pilgrimage., Golden temple is as sacred as a small Gurudwara anywhere in the world.
So with Kartarpur for 2-3 months people will visit out of curiosity but $20.00 fees is way too much to spend.
Kartarpur corridor will be used by drug smugglers and terrorists.

Peregrineji, the money is being collected as Service fee by pakistani government and they will directly appropriate it. They are not going to give it to SGPC or any other body. They have clearly mentioned that the fee is in lieu of expenses for constructing the corridor.

The area is known as Tees Hazari because this is where Bhagel Singh Jhabal's 30,000 men were encamped after they captured the Red Fort and made the Mughals construct Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk at the spot where Guru Tegh Bahadur ji had been beheaded by Aurangzeb.

Pak PM Imran Khan to Visit China Next Week to Revive Stalled CPEC Projects

October 3, 2019, 1:18 PM IST
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit China on October 7-8 to meet the country's top leadership and revive the stalled USD 60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, according to a media report.
Multi-billion dollar CPEC was launched in 2015 and several projects under the first phase are close to completion. But the progress on CPEC next phase projects have slowed since Prime Minister Imran Khan came to power last year.
Khan's visit to Beijing comes ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's likely visit to India for the second informal summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, amidst fresh tensions between Pakistan and India over Kashmir.
Prime Minister Khan while chairing a meeting on the economic corridor on Wednesday said removal of all bottlenecks in CPEC projects and their timely completion is the top priority of the government, the Dawn newspaper reported.

Added later: Chinese Emperors of earlier times would write "Fear this and tremblingly obey", while writing to lesser kings. This is going to happen to Pak rulers in a short period of time.

Brilliant insight, as always!

We need to apprehend and publicly name each instance of drug smuggling and/or terrorism emanating from the corridor, and after each such instance shut it down for some period of time; 3 strikes and shut it down for a year. I feel for the devotees who have made plans to visit the holy site; however Pakis need to fail the pain for their actions.

Actually, any instance of drug smuggling or terrorism should be investigated fully and report prepared linking the Paki state (which will inevitably be the case) with the crime - and this evidence paraded to the international bodies; having our boot on their neck at FATF can be a good thing after all.

Pakistan staring at military coup, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa meets business leaders, PM Imran Khan missing

The Pakistani Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed that General Bajwa told the business leaders that the country was witnessing "improved internal security environment" which has "created space for increased economic activity".

Image

Pakistan seems to be staring at yet another military coup with its Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa meeting the top business leaders of the country on Wednesday without the presence of Prime Minister Imran Khan and a day later cancelling the leaves of all officers and soldiers of the 111th Infantry Brigade. The officers and soldiers of 111th Infantry Brigade, responsible for security of Pakistani prime minister and president's house, on leave have been ordered to report for duty immediately.

The 111th Brigade has been actively involved in at least two of the four military coups - 1958, 1969, 1977 and 1999 - in Pakistan. The "coup brigade" helped the then Pakistani Army Chief General Ayub Khan seize power by sacking the government of Pakistani President Major General (retired) Iskander Mirza in 1958. Almost 21 years later, the brigade was once again in the thick of action when the then Army Chief General Zia-ul-Haq conducted a miliatry coup against prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Imran Khan and his Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf party had received the active support of the Army during the 2018 election resulting in him becoming the prime minister of the country. But in the last few months Imran Khan has been losing the support and confidence of the Pakistani Army over his failutre to counter India's aggressive military stand. The abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as well as the poor state of economy and lack of support from the international community to Imran Khan's plea to on Pakistan's stand on various issues with India has seen the country's all-powerful Army flexing its muscles once again.

The Pakistani Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed that General Bajwa told the business leaders that the country was witnessing "improved internal security environment" which has "created space for increased economic activity".

General Bajwa met the business tycoons and senior government officials dealing with the economy at a seminar titled "Interplay of Economy and Security" organised at the Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi. His meeting with the business leaders in the absence of Imran Khan has ked to speculations that the Army is once again eyeing a much bigger and direct role in the running of the country.

Leaked UN letter behind Maleeha Lodhi’s removal

Motive behind leakage of letter to India was to thwart PM’s visit to US - Shamshad Mangat

ISLAMABAD : Leaking letter to India written by the United Nations to government of Pakistan about Hafiz Saeed has come as major reason behind removal of Maleeha Lodhi as permanent envoy of Pakistan to UN.

The motive behind leakage of letter to India was to thwart the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan visit to US.

On his return to Pakistan following his tremendously successful visit to US, Prime Minister Imran Khan removed Maleeha Lodhi as permanent envoy of Pakistan to UN; certainly a solid reason prompted the quick reaction by PM and this reason was permission granted by UN on the request of government of Pakistan for releasing some amount from the accounts of Hafiz Saeed, Haji Muhammad Ashraf and Zafar Iqbal enabling them to meet their daily expenses.

UN issued this letter on August 15, 2019 which was hushed up by Maleeha Lodhi and her secretary Usman Tipu and waited that it will be made public when PM Imran Khan reaches New York to address UN General Assembly.

The said letter started appearing on Whatsapp of the people affiliated with journalism in New York on September 25.

On one occasion when foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was talking to media men, Indian journalists while referring to this letter repeatedly questioned if Pakistan has come here with applications seeking restoration of bank accounts of people from banned outfits instead of fighting the case of Kashmir.

UN has made it clear about this letter that release of these short funds is in line with law; but Pakistani journalists living in New York exposed the unholy nexus of Maleeha Lodhi and Indian lobby. The PM was informed about the real situation.

Moreover, the PM was also informed that Maleeha Lodhi sent a letter to Special Assistant to PM on Information Firdous Ahsiq Awan stressing that press minister post is lying vacant in UN since the last 10 months, therefore, former press minister Saeed Anwar be appointed on this position. When the factors leading to issuance of this letter by Maleeha Lodha to Firdous Ashiq Awan were ascertained, they also proved indescribable.

Later decision was taken to remove Maleeha Lodhi. It is pertinent to mention here that reports on social media have come that Faisal Sherwani, son of Maleeha Lodhi had got married to an Indian lady whose family has close relations with Modi family. No contradiction has come from Maleeha Lodhi and her family on this count so far.

Pakistan staring at military coup, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa meets business leaders, PM Imran Khan missing

The Pakistani Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed that General Bajwa told the business leaders that the country was witnessing "improved internal security environment" which has "created space for increased economic activity".

The JKLF have assembled at Muzaffarabad. Tomorrow morning they cut across LoC from Chakothi. I don’t understand why BRF is not monitoring it

They will be shot or arrested. Seems fairly straightforward to handle.

BSF do not man the LoC do they? It's only IA there.
