Someone shared elsewhere his observations:

2014 INC: 44
2019 INC : 52 (less 09 of DMK backed seats in TN)

INC growth = -ive

Kerala rise mainly due to Sabarimala and minorities consolidation behind them

TSP accidentally let off some fire works in anticipation of RaGa win, they're now calling it Shaheen 2.

Namo Modi!!! :) and no stopping now for BJP next 1-2 decades and to clean up last 70 years of ails of India. Next is to get majority in Rajyasabha by getting back KT, RJ, and MP in next 1 years.

Most disappointing is TDP total loss :( . My minimum was 60-70 with Jenasena damage in Coastal but it is severe as TDP lost in Rayalaseema too. It was strategic mistake to quit NDA and fight head-on with powerful national party. Combined strength of YCP and BJP and loss of traditional BC voteshare as Naidu wanted to get Kapus to BC reservation, Kapus in turn lost to Jensena and that made rout for TDP in K-G delta and Visaka districts

Coalition Arithmetic Map
Add up vote-shares, include shifts in vote share because of turnout (or issues), and see what the electoral map looks like.

RJ+MP+CG loss made people to think tough in UP too. Kesar Pataka in majority of India with Bengal being new addition.

Now that is not really bad. Communist Party of India (CPI) led by national leader Daniel Raja, had a grand total of 1 seat in LS 2014. The grand winner was from Thrissur, Kerala. This time even that seat is going to the Congress.

bjp leading in 61 in UP now, vs 18 for MGB - republic tv

bjp tally will increase slowly in this 2nd phase of counting as they eke out some narrow contests based on overall wave.
