RG was trailing there in 2014 too till late when he suddenly went into the lead and SI could not catch up. I'm expecting that this time too. I guess they count some RG favoring localities later over there.
True. I remember that too.

i dont think they give a crap about JnK "hurt feelings" of the pampered nest of rats there, if they get help on their own state projects.
Jagan is EJ bastion. They will not support removal of 370 etc.

Navin Babu is a better bet. But aligning with him will weaken BJP growth in Odissa again.
Whoever joins, there is a cost which Amit shah should be willing to pay. Let's hope for the best.

The Remarkable Comeback of Rahul Gandhi
The opposition leader is challenging Narendra Modi by offering social peace as a public good.

A large measure of Mr. Modi’s anxieties has to do with the emergence of Rahul Gandhi, the 48-year-old president of the Indian National Congress, the leading opposition party. Hailing from a family of prime ministers starting with his great-grandfather, Jawaharlal Nehru, grandmother, Indira Gandhi, and father, Rajiv Gandhi, Mr. Gandhi is scripting quite a remarkable political comeback.

Mr. Gandhi has made a turnaround over the last 18 months with sharp social media campaigns and assured public speaking, interacting with audiences in town hall settings, and making it a point to address press meetings, something that Mr. Modi has refused to do during his five years in power.
Congress might win a whole 10 seats more than its 2014 tally!! Which other political genius has managed it in India's history? Remarkable feat by Rahul Gandhi.

Meanwhile, CBN who was shuttling all around the country trying to stitch up an alliance is staring at ZERO seats. :rotfl: Serves that betrayer right.

CBN has become the laughing stock of the nation..I hope his political career is likely finished.. ultimately it was his greed & arrogance that led to his downfall.

BJP made the mistake of not fielding a CM candidate in Odisha. Modi can't do everything. Otherwise NP would have found it tough. I hope they don't make that mistake in WB. My vote goes to Babul Supriyo as CM candidate. Bengalies like people who can sing and dance. But I am not sure how good an administrator he is.

Jagan and Naveen support can be taken issue wise e.g. Art 370, UCC in exchange for financial help. However, Jagan in NDA will blunt his EJ tendencies. Depends on how much support he gives to legislation. Looks like the BJP vote bank in AP has voted Jagan to teach CBN a lesson.

Why should Ami Shah be willing to pay any cost. BJP is in majority. The way forward should be pressurising these regional satraps into a coherent National Security Doctrine.

JDS needs to be kicked out immediately. Going hammer and tongs on rNDTV about how they will not compromise on 35A, 370, Ram Mandir, Uniform Civil Code. Why the f are you supporting the BJP lead coalition in that case?

Smriti's lead has slimmed to 3000 now. This will be one seat to watch in the next few hours.

I haven an inkling feeling that PGV will be nominated from this seat in the by-polls.

AIDMK leading in 11 out 21 Assembly seats, current assembly AIDMK 113+11= 124 Government stays. Seems thats where the effort went for AIDMK + BJP went, on the ground this time AIDMK and BJP did not do much campaigning for these Elections in TN.

As I said North East moonsoon failing has been a factor in at least 20 seats in TN.

All the DMK+INC moneybags money in these LS elections will go to waste as they will have no say in Central Government

The thing is, Modi & Shah decide what needs to happen, ok Jaitley too probably! Everyone else, including those in BJP are just informed before going live with decision . If JDU & others haven't learnt it in last 5 years, when will they learn? :rotfl:

rNDTV is fixated on AS calling Bangla intruders 'Termites'. What else are they if not termites? So much virtue signaling going on!
Why must Indian Muslims feel bad about Bangladeshi illegal immigrants being referred to as termites?
