He deserves to win. Also Byjayanti Jay Panda, but I guess he is losing.

2/3 majority in LS alone is not of much use. If he can convince other parties to vote for him in RS, automatically they will also vote in LS. The RS gap even to simple majority is much larger.

How many in Western world has heard their local Desi radio run by BIF pros this morning? Both radios in my neighborhood were heavy on songs and no talk and any talk was about local news. Before the results they were going all crazy on elections for past few months.

For whatever reason defense was given to political light weights in past 5 years (or AJ to seat warm), and there wasn't any target stated publicly from the man himself either. Lets see of things are different in the next term.

If no upset in tender then BJP will touch 301. With allies will be 347. Not 2/3rd

I don't know if anyone noticed, but BJP is leading in 9/11 seats in CG. Total contrast to the assembly, and IIRC even folks like PP were pessimistic about BJP's chances in CG.

Chhattisgarh

Party Won Leading Total
Bharatiya Janata Party 1 8 9
Indian National Congress 0 2 2
Total 1 10 11
