Vidhan Sabha elections:
Arunachal: It will be BJP/NDA coming with a majority for the first time.
Odisha: Looks like BJD will continue, with BJP getting a decent number of seats.
Andhra: Chandranna booted out, the other fellow is coming with a large majority.

Amit shah answered that beautifully. Why those students gathered that day and why kanhaiyya arranged that gathering? Was it JNU day? independence day? What day was that? It was the anniversary of afzal guru's death. Technicality of they raised that slogan, didn't raise slogan is moot, irrelevant. Explain why you gathered?

I think about 7-8 more rounds to go...but Irani seems comfortable with a 48k margin and consistently leading in each count.

Not sure this is the correct interpretation. Praveen Patil tweeted that Amit Shah dislikes Naidu and was working against him.

It was not about the JNU folks. The left-lib gang of INC-Left jumped into JNU in support of the tukde-tukde gang. This is against them.

UP:
In Gorakhpur and Phulpur BJP is leading by huge margin.
Even in Kairana, BJP has 90k lead over the MGB semi-literate candidate Tabassum.
These were the bypoll constituencies where the MGB idea was hatched and tested....it seems to have fallen apart.

As per rNDTV, they are calculating it going by how BJP + Current Allies performed in 2014.
Its the total of current NDA components' total in 2014 vs 2019.
For example AIADMK is part of NDA in 2019 and got 36 seats last time.
This time it got 1.
So its -35.

As a Keralite; my take is that BJP should keep pushing in KL but ultimately it is for the people of KL to decide. I don't think BJP made in roads to states like WB or Tripura without years of hard work. Kerala BJP also lacks good local leaders who can run the show (RSS is strong in KL, but they don't have many "politicians" around). The only way I see BJP winning in Kerala, is BJP able to clearly tell the average Keralite chap what it has done in other parts of India and how it can bring some benefit to people of KL. Please note, due to large funds coming from the expatriates, money or poverty is not a big time problem in Kerala. KL needs a special treatment, executed through capable BJP leaders based out of KL. I am sure Amit Shah et.al know the situation in Kerala, so I may be preaching to the choir here.
Sri Sunil Deodhar should be sent to KL now.
After Tripura he worked behind the scene in WB (not many people knew about it.)

I remember BJP winning RS seat in that same period from BSP quota which was otherwise difficult. Losing bypolls seems to be a ploy to let SP/BSP be convinced of utility of Gatbandhan....

It was a brilliant speech from Amit Shahji. Within the first few minutes, he congratulated YSRP and BJD for victory in the state elections. Alliance in making. If BJP wishes to remove Article 370 and 35a, they need support from outside NDA to reach the numbers.

Lol. Whole this time NDTV kept showing BJP+ down with large numbers (starting at -50) compared to 2014 but were forced to accept within 1 hour that there is a wave. In 2 hour they were accepting that this is a sweep (with words thats its Earthquake in WB
).
The fact is that despite giving significant seats to coalition partners in states like Bihar, BJP has scored better than 2014. But you cant blame NDTV for not showing it clearly

well one brf senior member who is banned for now was arrogantly (I feel) telling us from other states that keralites vote with their head and hearts not on basis of jati/dharma and other bourgeois vices that the rest of india are all supposed to do . keralites are hence special and need house to house visit and pampering to vote for good of the country.

Bihar: Atmaghan Sinha being defeated by almost 3 lakh votes in Patna Sahib. Misa Bharti trailing by 40k votes in Pataliputra.
Jharkhand: Kirti Azad moved from Bihar to try saving his azz. He is losing by nearly 4 lakh votes.
All these clowns now getting their just desserts. But at least they contested unlike Arun Sourpuss and Yashwant Sinner.

One election result I am closely following is Sumalatha (wife of Actor Ambareesh) in Mandya, Karnataka.
She has effectively put a stop on Kumarswamy (current CM of Karnataka) for now. He will claw back, but she has stopped him for now. Good.
