Amit Shah asks why equality principle is not invoked when special provisions for minorities are made through various sectarian laws
https://twitter.com/RongKalita/status/1 ... 6965987329
- @RongKalita

This is really BIG. Contrary to the claims of traitors & morons on our side, they're much better aware about these issues. Hope these schemes & laws are also under their radar & they'll go for them one by one.
Eek teer do Nishana?

Forcing opposition to do rudali in the name of Article 14 COULD be strategic. Force them to commit to "Religious equality" for "Indian citizens" on the floor of the house and then use those very statements later to rollback the special privileges accorded to minorities in the name of religion.

Opposition might be walking into a well laid out plan by Modi/Shah duo if they are not careful.

Not about what is Jhinna said or what was the reality back then but about the politics right now where BJP is aggressive on CAB rather than defensive.

Dr Sachin Reddy @snsachinnandu

BJP has reached 50% voteshare in Karnataka. A dream number for any party in a tripolar contest!

Remember, BJP's voteshare in these 15 seats in 2018 VS was <30%! This has wide ranging implications on Karnataka politics
Remarkable! Yeddi's last-term, so hopefully he leaves on a high and solidifies his legacy. This is his chance.

Btw, During the CAB debate, Amit Shah talked of how "selective criteria" has been applied in India and the world over when it comes to refugees/immigration and he specifically quote the US with its Green-card screening & quota and fast track citizenship system with respect to equality guaranteed in its constitution.

I think the reference to US system was deliberate for we know from where the maximum garam hawa will originate in this debate from foreign shores.

We must welcome Sena's views and its vote on the issue. Either way Sena votes will be a win for BJP.

Coupta is very anti-modi and some of his latest pieces are pure poison but even he seemed to suggest that CAB/NRC will become another Ayodhya for BJP after Ayodhya.

BJD declares support for government on citizenship bill
“I don’t think any division will be required in the Lok Sabha as the government has the numbers,” said a BJD Lok Sabha MP, adding: “As far as the Rajya Sabha is concerned, we are going to support the government. We had certain inhibitions regarding tribals but that has been taken care of.” BJD has seven MPs in the House.

The bill is likely to be introduced in the Rajya Sabha this week itself as the session is set to end on Friday.

They face persecution not because they're Muslim but because they're 'not Muslim enough'. We can't subsidise internecine purity squabbles. CAB helps those who were left to fend for themselves in '47.

Someone tell this idi0t that the word "Secularism" does not even occur in the official partition agreements of 1947.

The word "Secularism" was inserted into constitution in 1976 during emergency.

Partition was explicitly on the basis of Muslim/ Non Muslim majority lands.
This is the level of our intellectuals! They have either forgotten history or are willfully distorting it to suit their agenda.

Another good one for our gooks

Srinath Raghavan @srinathraghava3

Shah claims in Parliament that "It was the Congress that divided the country on religious lines, not us". Congress did accept the division of the country, but not the two-nation theory. This was central to their acceptance of the partition plan
https://twitter.com/Brahamvakya/status/ ... 6625250304
Tatvam Asi @Brahamvakya
Absolutely wrong, only goes to expose the illiteracy about constitution. Congress not only accepted partition basis religion but it also accepted 2 nation theory. Living proof of that is sep laws for muslims here thereby buttressing Jinnah's argument, " we are a separate nation"

VJ @vjchats_IN

People who want the sanctity of Article 14 to be maintained must do the following:

1. Give up personal laws or let other groups have it too.

2. Give up rights enshrined in article 25-30 or extend it to other groups too.

From what I read in the media, even ADMK would support the bill in Rajya Sabha. Even the most "secular & progressive" media outlets are very worried that the bill would clear the Rajya Sabha. Their last hopes are in the courts.

Are you kidding me? I think ModiJi in his brilliant oratory style coined the phrase '5 star activist'. She is a quintessential one at that. Far from doing anything substantive, she is at home sitting in some 5-star hotel and talking to some 'me too' bimbo or blowing gas in the WP against BJP, or pompously taking all sides when it comes to Kashmir. Another friend of mine coined the term NATO for such libtards. NATO: no action, talk only.

BTW on another note, Abhijit Iyer Mitra takes down Dexter Filkins and his Rana Ayyub concubine (if he continues to maintain this tone, his days writing for Coupta's rag are numbered :-))

https://theprint.in/opinion/in-rana-ayy ... oy/331730/

Also, noticed that Fair did hates his guts. Matter of fact, she hates any RW supporter of BJP and ModiJi.

In the last several weeks, Hindus have shown themselves to be their own worse enemies:

1. "Hindu" Shiv Sena back stabbed BJP just to seize power and became Sonia Sena

2. A supposedly "Hindu" Congress woman in US, Jaypal, sponsored a resolution berating India on Kashmir, but not a single mention of the ethnic cleansing of her own Hindu community. Well, on second thoughts, she is not much of a Hindu I guess, she is more a "Dravidian".

As someone else posted, the best retor to all those opposing:

Libtards: India is truing Nazi, ModiJi/Amit Shah are Hitlers out to annihilate Muslims

Libtards: CAB discriminates against Muslims

RW response: You can't have your cake and eat it too. If India is becoming Nazi out to annihilate Muslims, then why bring in more Muslims to face persecution under ModiJi/AS? :-).

I doubt any Libtrad sees the above contradiction. What does it tell. Their opposition is just a lot of gas where they have fixed the narrative a priori: ModiJi/AS are Hitlers. Now they will take every act of ModiJi/AS to fit that narrative.

I wonder how TSP is viewing these proceedings? For sure, they are enjoying India's fault lines play out. They don't give a shit whether India accepts their Muslims or not. But they sure love ModiJi getting pummeled in the international court of opinion as Hitler. And this is exactly what Taliban Khan also has been howling since Aug 5.

All of the above is fine so long as opposition to CAB is just gas. But I fear that with the level misinformation being spread, if there is p!ssful violence aided and abetted by TSP, guess who will be blamed? Surprise surprise, BJP, ModiJi, AS. Its a 'justifiable' reaction to ModiJi's "hate Muslim" policy will be the lead editorial in the NYT.

RTE to be removed or amended to include all Hindus without any discrimination whatsoever.

No more special "minority" rights at the cost of the Hindus.

Temples removed from govt control and universal unrestricted entry to temples for dalits and lower castes to prevent further erosion due to conversions due to inherent discrimination being practiced by many "caste" Hindus.

Educational reforms to reverse and change commie, naxal, BIF and abrahamic meddling over seven odd decades. Same rights to all communities to open and administer schools.

Anti conversion laws as the prey base for these rascals is clearly Hindu only. Let them convert among themselves and leave the Hindus out of it.

Seeing what is being achieved right now with 303, makes one lament at the opportunity squandered by the original duffer Gandhi (Rajiv) with his 400+. Also makes one shudder at the amount of damage he could have done, if he had been fully in the hands of foreign agents like the current duffer.

Also very telling that people keep referring to "303" of the BJP, rather than the actual "360" of the NDA.

How about making a complete body & health check up mandatory as part of giving the citizenship? ;). That would give some hints on the original religious identity. Technically such a gimmick will work, but the government can also introduce some checks and balances. But at present this possibility is used by Indian "seculars" mainly to make people believe that the rule would be of no use.

I did read some very "secular" news papers. All of them did report the feelings that the bill will pass through RS as well. ADMK is said to vote in favour of the bill, which itself would get the required majority. The "seculars & progressive liberals" have started talking about going to the courts etc.

I would add one small change to the list - 'minority' word should be dropped and replaced by 'second largest majority'. Muslims should be officially called second largest majority.
A community with over 20 crore population can't be minority in the true sense. This size of population has to be a force to be reckon with, its bigger than Russia and multiple Australia. How can 20 crore people be called minority? Just to evoke emotions and sympathy and garner disproportional favors from the rather meek majority. This should be called out.

True minority are Parsis etc.

Party workers want me to be Maharashtra deputy chief minister: Ajit Pawar
As per sources, a chorus has been growing within the NCP to appoint Ajit Pawar as the deputy chief minister.

Eleven days after the formation of the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress government in Maharashtra, the allocation of ministerial portfolios remains a contentious issue. While six ministers were sworn-in along with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on November 28, none of them have so far been allocated portfolios.

The three-party alliance is yet to evolve a consensus regarding the distribution of departments, sources said, adding the decision regarding the deputy chief minister’s post has also been a factor.

As per sources, a chorus has been growing within the NCP to appoint Ajit Pawar as the deputy chief minister. This comes after Fadnavis had on November 23 returned as chief minister, propped up by Ajit Pawar, who was made his deputy. Both were sworn in an early morning ceremony, but the government lasted only 80 hours. On November 28, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray took oath as the chief minister of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

We can mandate that only those Hindus will be considered whose father and grandfather were Hindus too. That is, their lineage should have been Hindu in 1947,

Disappointed, Says Prashant Kishor on JD(U)’s Support to ‘Discriminatory’ Citizenship Bill
"Disappointed to see JDU supporting #CAB that discriminates right of citizenship on the basis of religion. It's incongruous with the party's constitution that carries the word secular thrice on the very first page and the leadership that is supposedly guided by Gandhian ideals," the poll strategist-turned-politician tweeted.

Participating in the debate on the Bill, the party's leader in the Lok Sabha, Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, said on the floor of the House that the JD(U) was supporting the legislation since it was "not against secularism".
