The biggest backers of LTTE was Indian govt and RAW until IPKF operation. MGR gave them money publicly. There were training camps for LTTE organised by RAW in TN and other parts of India. This is before they became a terror organization and turned on India.

After that they became mostly self funded through smuggling and donations of SL Tamil diaspora in Europe, Canada and other countries. While EJ groups and European countries like Norway tried to support LTTE in later years, their monetary contribution paled in comparison to what SL Tamil diaspora was giving to them either voluntarily or through coersion.

Once more LTTE was NOT a religious organization. It had lot more Hindus in it's ranks than christians but it was an adamantly secular organization whose paranoid leader Pirabhakaran did not tolerate or allow any external influence on cadre. Even romance between cadre was forbidden. Proselytization amongst cadre was a punishable offense if I recall reports of that time. He wanted no ideology or identity other than that of a Tamil nation.

His apparent friendliness to European EJ groups was to get some international support after India and US started cracking down on LTTE aggressively.

ik niazi is the only other guy pushing this ltte is a Hindu terrorist outfit nonsense.

ltte is a srilankan outfit. It operated mostly in SL with SL leadership and in the end the tamils, some of them doubtless Hindu, in the ltte, were srilankans, no

why exactly are you hell bent on pushing this nonsensical ltte is a Hindu terrorist outfit construct.

ik niazi has clear intentions of connecting this "ltte is a Hindu terrorist outfit" theory to India to tar India as a terrorist country.

what exactly are your intentions.

Even romance between cadre was forbidden.

this was strictly to maintain disclipline in the lower cadres only.

It, however, did not stop the "leaders" from boinking the ltte poontang on the side. or were you not aware of this glorious tradition of theirs.

#BREAKING: Delhi HC denied bail to P. Chidambaram in the INX media case.

“It cannot be ruled out that Chidambaram might influence the witnesses” says Delhi HC.

The argument accepted by the court has the potential to lock him up for a really long time. Chidu was the Home minister after all and had access to all critical institutions of India. There will never be a time when he won't be in a position to influence witness. :((

I expect he will petition the SC now.

The Sonia/Munna gambit did not work out as expected. What will the wily old fox now do? Will he invite Ahmed Patel to share his hospitality? Karti must now really be sweating bullets.

this is how all terrorists should end their days and only the sinhala SL army could have done it, bar none, even squeamish India would not have had the b@!!$ to do such a neat job of it.

The bitterly upset, disappointed and vengeful BIF are still gunning for the srilankan army and politicos by making it a human rights issue even today.

Well much more needs to be done to deal with backers who aren't secular. It's no use how much secular or not any rebel or such moment is if it wants to go far from dharmic tree, for after a while the region will begin to ease in those who plant daggers in the Indian subcontinent.

Punjab has no role in release of Beant Singh's killer: Amarinder

This is solely a BJP project. Who are they trying to impress? The Khalisthanis? The ordinary Sikh's did not demand it. This is problematic at so many levels.
https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-ne ... 6FlpL.html
India moves to assuage Sikhs, derail Pakistan’s Khalistan and Kashmir plan
The decision to release eight Sikh prisoners and commute the death sentence of Balwant Singh Rajoana, the main conspirator in the 1995 assassination of former Punjab CM Beant Singh, is the culmination of various key steps taken by the Union government to assuage the sentiments of the Sikh community and derail Pakistan’s “K2” (Kashmir & Khalistan) plan, according to senior officials in the government and security community.

This will assuage the sentiments of the Sikhs and derail the K2 plan? Does the BJP mean to say that ordinary Sikhs sympathize with Khalistanis? Kya gazab hai!
The officials said that the outreach to the community by the Modi government was an effort to not allow Pakistan’s ISI to influence Sikh hardliners -- particularly in the US, Canada and the UK -- working in tandem with the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) group.
Effort to get the Khalistanis to ditch ISI. Are the Khalistanis willing to ditch their dreams of an Independent state?

We are going to see Hurriyat Redux 2 in our treatment of the Khalistani elements. The Hurriyat happily double dipped and made a fool of our government (Mostly congress administrations) when we tried to handle them with kid gloves. In the end no appeasement works.

One can only hope that it is part of a backroom deal between some US or Canada based Sikh group to become mainstream or atleast expose ISI plans in exchange for these gestures. If not, one does not know what to say.

^^^
This, they added, is part of the ISI’s “K2” plan to exploit sentiments in Kashmir and Punjab. “The Indian government has responded by the nullification of Article 370 to put Kashmir on the path to development, and assuaging the sentiments of the Sikh community with confidence-building measures,” said an official familiar with the matter. Apart from Prime Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah, it was effected by foreign minister S Jaishankar in conjunction with the chiefs of the Intelligence Bureau and the Research & Analysis Wing.

“The process of healing the wounds of the Sikh community began with the meeting of Prime Minister Modi with Sikh groups in London on November 12, 2015. In that meeting, the demand to facilitate the return of radicalised Sikh elements was raised,” said a second official.

He added that not only has the government announced the release of Sikh prisoners, it has fast-tracked the 1984 riots cases, removed the names of people from the black list, and persuaded Pakistan to allow pilgrims with OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) cards to travel on the soon-to-be-completed Kartarpur Corridor.

Since when has releasing killers and forgiving terrorists become part of healing process. What extra sins have other killers and terrorists committed not to be treated with the same compassion. Clearly religion is a factor here.
By that account, even Muslim terrorists from Kashmir and Kerala too should be forgiven, maybe that would assuage the sentiments of the 'Muslim" community.
If the news above is true, then its one of those idiotic acts by govt of the day.

Raghuram Rajan And Pied Pipers Of New India (repost)

Raghuram Rajan And Pied Pipers Of New India (repost)

Now that the casino economic policies have taken its toll on every facet of Indian society, Raghuram Rajan is again being resurrected in Indian political discourse. Would Mr. Rajan have gone along with Demonetisation or not, we may never know. What we do know, however, are the policies that he implemented directed by a select group, which ironically is also the partner in Demonetisation.

By Shelley Kasli - September 3, 2018

(This report was written and published by GreatGameIndia on Sept 8th 2013. We are republishing it again since it was lost during migration. Much of the information maybe dated but nonetheless very relevant keeping in mind the way things have turned out. Also to be noted is that most of the concerns raised for his sacking finds its origin in this report.)

Welcomes don’t get much warmer than this – especially not for central bankers. But Raghuram Rajan, new governor of the Reserve Bank of India, is being treated like a Rockstar by the media and a savior by the markets.

In his first briefing since taking office as governor on Sept. 4, Rajan announced plans to bolster the financial sector and support the rupee. None of the measures were ground-breaking, but the reaction was exuberant. The Economic Times sketched Rajan as James Bond, replete with a sharp suit and a gun made out of rupee notes.

Never mind his American citizenship nor the various prestigious organizations he is associated with, such as the University of Chicago, World Bank, US Federal Reserve Board, Swedish Parliamentary Commission, American Finance Association, International Monetary Fund, etc. One distinct accolade he has earned is the entry into an elite group of economist czars called the Group of Thirty or just G30 very recently last year just before becoming the Bank Boss of India. For the scope of this article we’ll need to dwell a bit on the background of G30.

History of Group of Thirty G30

The Group of 30 is a Rockefeller-sponsored group of leading Central Bankers and academics, a Washington, D.C. based institution which counts as its members many of the more powerful banks and financial institutions in the world. The Group of Thirty, chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, includes the current heads of the Bank of France, Bank of Tokyo, Bank of Italy, Bank of Israel, former head of the German Bundesbank, and now, even the Reserve Bank of India. Also represented are many of the top commercial and investment banks, including Citicorp, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, the Industrial Bank of Japan, and J. Rothschild International Assurance Holdings.

India in Cognitive Dissonance by GreatGameIndia

The Group of Thirty is, in short, a mouthpiece for the international financial operatives who created the speculative bubble that is now exploding. It is a sort of vampires’ club – an elite group which is planning the reorganization of the world monetary system. (For in depth report on how this speculative bubble was created and how to bailout north-atlantic economies devastated in the resulting 2008 economic crash, a global War on Cash was launched including in India; go through our 5 part series – The Global War On Cash: Target India).

Since late 1981, the IMF and the multinational financial oligarchies have realized that the developing countries would not be able to pay their debts under their original terms. The Group of Thirty, designed a strategy to use the debt crisis to smash sovereignty. Their perspective is to create a world council with executive powers to dictate and supervise financial policies of each “sovereign” nation to allow free reign for nation-less capital. This entity would be made up of the IMF and the central banks, act independently from national governments and be coordinated by the Bank for International Settlements, based in Basel, Switzerland.

Also read: Bolivia Declares Freedom From Central Bankers. Can India Do The Same?

This is the same group that outlined the plan for changing the laws and regulations of nations, in order to protect their derivatives trading and perpetuate the bubble as long as they can. One of the G30 benefactors is the Open Society Foundation, with upon further examination is a George Soros founded organization (Read here about George Soros’s role in the Rohingya crisis). Another of the G30 benefactors is the Whitehead Foundation, which was started by John C. Whitehead, the former managing partner for Goldman Sachs, and Deputy Secretary of State in the Reagan Administration. (Did you know the seeds for the current economic situation in India were sown in the 80s by the 40th President of the United States of America Ronald Reagan?)

G30 and more specifically former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker were the major player in moving the USD off the gold standard under Nixon and was the prime mover at the Treasury in establishing Bretton Woods II. Volcker and his buddies at the G30 have not only known about but have methodically planned the global monetary regime that was instituted in response to the Global Financial Crisis caused by the derivatives time bomb (see G-30 manual on derivatives published in 1993 and The Global War On Cash: Target India).

Now it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you when our Pied-Piper Raghuram Rajan played the tune on how the world will fall into a hole; one of the few who predicted the 2008 financial crisis. The question is – to what end?

The Proposed Solution

With the world’s financial system in the midst of the biggest blowout in modern history, it is useful to take a look at the latest proposals from the so-called financial experts, as a way of demonstrating their incompetence to devise a solution to a crisis for which they themselves are largely responsible.

In an interview given to The New York Times Mr Rajan explains his definition of growth and provides his solution to the ailing economy:

In terms of where will growth come from, it doesn’t need to come from fancy stuff like extraordinary innovation of one kind or another. Just getting people from agriculture into services and industry itself is growth.

I think India’s medium-term future is moving people out of agriculture into industry and services. Services, you know, some extent we have a sort of a sense of what it takes. And India’s service sector is disproportionately large for a country of its income. Where we have had less success is industry, and the question is can we sort of find a way to free the path for small and medium industry, and not just keep them forever as small and medium industries but allow them to grow into large industries.

In another interview given to The Economic Times he extrapolates it further:

There is a tremendous amount of value-add that can be created in services. In India, especially, financial services as also IT and others are where most value-add is created. Unfortunately, even though services account for 60% of the GDP, they don’t account for nearly as much for jobs. They account for just 15% of the jobs. What we need to focus on is perhaps thinking broadly about how we create services that will generate many more jobs.

Highlighting sectoral disparities building up in the economy, Rajan said in another interview to The Hindu Business Line that while agriculture’s share was declining, that of services had gone up. Manufacturing had remained flat.

“This is not surprising. As countries grow, agriculture declines. What is special about India is that the exit of people from agriculture has not kept pace. (no you’re not delusional; read again)

Increasingly, people in agriculture are impoverished relative to those having jobs in industry or service”. We managed to move the States together, but perhaps we need to do more on the sectoral side to move people out of agriculture into other areas.

The ridiculousness of these statements is only complimented by the audacity with which it is said considering the fact that these conclusions are derived with a conviction and in full cognizance of their effects and consequences.

What is striking to me however is that I had heard this tune before. It’s enigmatic melody is so familiar to my ears that it’s been ringing in my head ever since. I had heard it play in what is called the Mecca of Book Lovers – the Jaipur Literature Festival by another piper that goes by the name of Ruchir Sharma; head of Emerging Markets and Global Macro at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and author of the international bestselling tune Breakout Nations: In Pursuit of the Next Economic Miracles.

I remember this distinctly because when questioned by me about the very definition of growth and the solutions for development he was talking about I received the very same answer from him. So similar was the tune that I had to sit up and take notice. Remember that these two are the top Indian thinkers on the Forbes list. So when they speak people listen to them unquestioned like words of God.

Nevermind that the Forbes family made their fortunes off of the Opium trade that was forcibly grown in India after ruining the agricultural lands and pushing the farmers into opium cultivation that was sold to the Chinese making their entire generations addicted onto it that made them unable to resist and fight when the time came during the Opium Wars; ultimately loosing Hong Kong to the Rothschild family controlled East India Company. Hong Kong became the hub of Opium trafficking and later Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC Bank) was founded on the trafficking money to better launder and manage the booty. Forbes was one of the directors of HSBC and later founded the Forbes magazine as we all know. These are respected family names now. (To know about how this same lobby propped up Nirav Modi as well through their auction houses in Hong Kong read out exclusive report – Nirav Modi & The Smuggling Of National Treasure).

These pipers are just playing their part in the symphony; the orchestra is being conducted from somewhere else. Have a look at this:

In India, the need of the hour is to bring 150 million workers out of agriculture and into manufacturing, which requires retraining and employment on a scale rarely seen. 174 million Indians are expected to join the labor force by 2030, the largest such cohort in the world, and training them will require a heavy dose of private-sector involvement.

This is right off Obama’s second term plans for India. Kindly read my analysis of it over here – Unlocking the full potential of the US-India Relationship 2013. The solution that he offers is to:

Launch a “U.S.-India Job Creation and Skills Building Partnership”

Given that India’s economy could become the world’s third largest by 2030, and the U.S. economy is placing emphasis on retraining workers to meet the labor demands of the twenty-first century, a bilateral initiative should be launched to capitalize on the vast human capital in both societies, by linking the expertise and abilities of our community colleges and worker training programs. India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development has plans to focus on vocational training, but a concerted bilateral initiative, including public-private partnerships, to train and employ millions of workers for a modern economy is needed.

This is the precursor to the Skill India initiative in India.

As hinted above this herculean feat of turning 15 crore farmers into worker slaves of the New World would require the privatization of our education system; one that could create this New World friendly worker bees. The steps towards this goal have already been implemented with Secretary Kerry’s visit to India.

The road to building skills for the 21st century

Remarks at the Higher Education Dialogue 2013 Kick-Off

U.S.-India Joint Fact Sheet: U.S.-India Cooperation In Higher Education

One of the outcomes of these strategic dialogues was IBM’s Project Praviin

The flag for revamping the entire Higher Education system in India by engaging the corporate sector in it through privatization is held by another piper Narayan Murthy. This in itself would require a full post where I’ll be discussing in detail about the Future of Higher Education in India. (The setting up of Jio Institutes should be a clear marker in this direction.)

Agriculture Manufacturing Services Growth Model
This entire symphony is orchestrated on the Agriculture Manufacturing Services Growth Model which proposes:

Well agriculture is important, but manufacturing tends to be more productive per unit of labor. That is why it was the industrialized nations that became wealthy though the Industrial Revolution. The average wage and standard of living of a person in a country is then higher.

Also, agricultural economies are at the mercy of weather patterns, disease, and famines. Manufacturing economies have less outside variables to affect them. Service based economies are even more immune to fluctuations, because inventories don’t over accumulate, so the business cycle isn’t as volitile.

Agriculture cannot produce continuous economic GDP growth per capita because both the supply and demand is limited.

Now, there are serious holes in this theory the primary being that it doesn’t take into account that the Industrial Revolution was kick-started by plundering the raw materials, wealth and technology from the colonies which was again sold to the same colonies in Free Market. It’s not a co-incidence that the so-called Industrial Revolution started in Great Britain.

Another supposition that this theory makes is that by dumping agriculture for manufacturing and services would result into more job creation and hence more GDP and economic growth. However the ground reports give a totally different picture.

Even at the peak of the economic growth period, between 2005 and 2009 when economy grew at 8 to 9 per cent, the high economic growth did not result in job creation.

According to a Planning Commission study, 14 million people were pushed out of agriculture, and another 5.3 million jobs were lost in the manufacturing sector in the same period. If growth was not translating into additional jobs, and instead was leading to increased joblessness, there was something going wrong.

Moreover

In the 9 years since Manmohan Singh took over, India has been flooded with cheaper manufactured goods, the imports touching $5 billion (Rs 3 lakh crore). Nearly 54 of the imports have come in from China alone. Much of the imports were of consumer goods that could have been easily manufactured within the country.

As if this is not enough, India is now having talks with China to sign a free trade agreement. In any case, India has been on a fast-track mode to sign bilateral trade agreements with more than 34 countries. The result: imports have far exceeded the exports from India, which means the trade agreements had not benefitted the country.

From the report by renowned Agriculture Scientist Devinder Sharma as published in Deccan Herald.

So, on one hand we’re being advised to dump our Agricultural Heritage for economic growth and increasing the GDP by shifting into manufacturing; while on the other bilateral trade treaties are being signed that would flood the Indian market with cheap foreign goods. Importing cheap and highly subsidized agricultural commodities as well as manufactured goods is like importing unemployment.

Also read: Why Indian Apocalypse To Save American Dream?

What I don’t understand is what would we be manufacturing than and for whom ? Further on the agenda is from manufacturing into services sector turning the population into just obedient slaves of Globalization.

The more serious question is what will happen to the already declining agricultural sector and the impending food crisis?

But surely our Rockstar Pipers must have known this? Surely India’s Agriculture Minister must be doing something about it?

A delegation of Punjab farmers led by India’s Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar is currently (from Sept 3-13) on a visit to Brazil and Argentina looking for buying or leasing large tracts of land. According to news reports, Sukhbir Singh Badal deputy chief minister of Punjab is also part of the delegation. A farmer, who is cultivating over 30,000 hectares in Argentina, has already given a presentation to the members of the delegation.

Interestingly, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has stakes in Renuka Sugar, and that makes the jigsaw puzzle simple knowing the interest the minister has been taking to protect the sugar industry. Many believe his travel to Brazil is actually to draw tie-ups with Brazilian sugar companies in the light of his proposed de-control of sugar sector in India.

Ironically, a recent report by the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) has brought out how small farmers in Brazil, for instance, are abandoning farming and swarming in to the urban centres. So on the one hand Brazil is driving away its own farmers, on the other it is inviting Indian farmers to come and cultivate the land left behind. What a flawed model of development? Your own farmers go landless while you handover farming to imported farmers.

After offshoring, Obama needs to crack down on farmland grab

Food Crisis & Global Farmland Grab

This is not just the case of Brazil. Whats going on is a Global Farmland Grab and India is one of the major proponents in this Neo-Colonizing drive. Isn’t it interesting, the same tune that the developed countries play for us developing countries; we play onto the third world countries. Remember, the Agricultural sector is the biggest beneficiary of FDI in retail in India that would bailout the US economy. (Refer to our report Why Indian Apocalypse To Save American Dream?).

At the heart of this discussion is the food crisis in US. The United States is faced with a food crisis of unprecedented proportions, one which threatens mass starvation unless there is a radical change in the system of economics and finance in the immediate future.

US is facing severe food shortages on the scale of impending famine because of the actions of the Obama Administration, whose policies are the culmination of decades of laws and practices, which have undermined the food-increase potential of nations. Moreover, these practices, and their continuation have been deliberately promoted by financial and political circles, best understood as the modern-day British Empire, for which subverting nation-states and causing depopulation are the goals.

The shift to “markets” and monetarism—valuation in money terms—as the guiding principle for the United States, instead of physical-economic and scientific growth, can be dated to the August 1971 removal of the U.S. dollar from a fixed exchange-rate standard, launching floating currency rates, and decades of casino economics. (Remember the handy work of the thugs of Group of 30).

Deliberate Depopulation Policy

The intent of depopulation, not mere stupidity, is behind these practices which are undercutting nation-states, their physical economic development, and food production. The policy nexus responsible operates through transnational financial and political circles, centered in London, i.e., the neo-British Empire, or globalization. These are the same networks acting to keep down nations, by deliberately promoting warfare, under expedient, fabricated “concerns,” such as preserving human rights, “responsibility to protect” (R2P), the threat of terrorism, etc.

In 1999, Tony Blair, then British prime minister, proclaimed this globalist strife-orientation, as the “end of the Peace of Westphalia” policy. Its British imperial lineage traces back centuries, through such episodes as the 1845-49 Irish potato famine, the 1876-78 famine in India under the British East India Co., and the 1943 Bengal famine under Winston Churchill. (Refer to Charles Darwin & The Forgotten Indian Holocaust).

Agenda 21 in India (appended)

On Dec. 10, 1974, the U.S. National Security Council under Henry Kissinger completed a classified 200-page study, “National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests.” The study falsely claimed that population growth in the so-called Lesser Developed Countries (LDCs) like India was a grave threat to U.S. national security. Adopted as official policy in November 1975 by President Gerald Ford, NSSM 200 outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in those countries including India through birth control, and also, implicitly, war and famine. Brent Scowcroft, who had by then replaced Kissinger as national security adviser, was put in charge of implementing the plan. CIA Director George Bush was ordered to assist Scowcroft, as were the secretaries of state, treasury, defense, and agriculture.

The bogus arguments that Kissinger advanced were not original. One of his major sources was the Royal Commission on Population, which King George VI had created in 1944 “to consider what measures should be taken in the national interest to influence the future trend of population.” The commission found that Britain was gravely threatened by population growth in its colonies – the biggest being India, since “a populous country has decided advantages over a sparsely-populated one for industrial production.” The combined effects of increasing population and industrialization in its colonies, it warned, “might be decisive in its effects on the prestige and influence of the West,” especially effecting “military strength and security.”

NSSM 200 similarly concluded that the United States was threatened by population growth in the former colonial sector. It paid special attention to 13 “key countries” in which the United States had a “special political and strategic interest”: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. It claimed that population growth in those states was especially worrisome since it would quickly increase their relative political, economic, and military strength.

This policy, known infamously as ‘Depopulation Policy’ and now being normalized through Hollywood movies, the latest being Mission Impossible: Fallout and most aptly personified by Thanos in Marvel’s Infinity War was imported to India via the United Nations’ Agenda 21 by none other than the then Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

This 1974 memorandum drafted by Henry Kissinger led directly to the unleashing of experimental vaccines on the unsuspecting public. It sighted countries as targets for “initial population reduction experimentation to be implemented around the year 2000″. They identified India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, Philippines, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Ethiopia & Columbia for study. 3 million Filipinos ages 12-48 were given a test vaccine that ruined their health. North American black & native American women were each given the same vaccine resulting in sterility rates of 25% & 35% respectively. The directive came from the WHO and was directly tied to Kissinger’s report.

Now that the casino economic policies have taken its toll on every facet of Indian society, Raghuram Rajan is again being resurrected in Indian political discourse. Would Mr. Rajan have gone along with Demonetisation or not, or as some even say would have implemented note-ban effectively; we may never know. It has become an established norm to criticise Government policies while not in power and implement the same at full steam the moment you’re crowned the Emperor. What we do know, however, are the policies that he implemented directed by a select group, which ironically is also the partner in Demonetisation.

What we do know is irrespective of who the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India is, they pay a dutiful visit every year to Switzerland to attend a secret global meeting the particulars of which are not disclosed to the people of India. Can any Governor of RBI deny the fact that it is from Switzerland that they’re handed over policies to implement in India by an organization that doesn’t come under Indian jurisdiction?

For more than 2000 years a war is being waged for the control of India and the access routes connected to it. The Turkey Coup is the beginning of the end of the Great Game, as it is known. With Russia slipping out of their hands, the eyes were set on an unfathomably resource-rich country, which even after thousand years of non-stop plunder and looting still captures the imagination of one and all, thugs, thieves and robber-barons alike with her yet-unknown massive economic resources potential — that country is India.

Demography is Destiny: The lesson from the removal of the Lord Ganesh idol from NIT Meghalaya

The manner in which the idol of Lord Ganesh was removed ought to concern us all. There was an explicit threat of violence that was cloaked under the garb of possible 'communal tensions'.

https://www.opindia.com/2019/10/demogra ... meghalaya/
Jaintia Students Union (JSU) pressurized the authorities to remove the idol and claimed that the idol could lead to ‘communal tensions’ in the state.

According to the 2011 census, over 74% of the total population in Meghalaya are Christians.

For all the sermons on secularism that are offered from pulpits, it is thrown down the drain the moment Hindus become a minority at a particular place.

I am always surprised by "academics like Audrey Truschke who go to the extent of basing their entire lives on the study of a culture and civilization that is not their own, and then turn around and bash it and trash it in a prejudiced, biased and bigoted way. There are quite a few like this, the other one is Wendy Doniger. The anger in their public statements can be felt, as if it was a woman dumped.

I don't know of anyone who has done a PhD on Islam or Middle East who goes around trashing it and calling Mohammed a pedo. What we have to investigate into is why is this the case? Are these academics merely paid mouthpieces? Do they really believe what they are saying? Are they merely looking for some attention and can do it because Hindus don't strike back?

Hindus have been attacked, invaded and subjugated for 1000 years and yet we don't have too many of these "academics" shouting from rooftops about it. Is it because we don't pay to play?

She is an Asst. Prof. looking for tenure. In some areas of research (humanities), the more noise you make the more "bhav" you get come time for tenure application. You need to show that "you can question and talk back to authority", "you can run a good PR campaign - rudali giri in protests, appear on the idiot box and such - for the department so that they get more grants", "you can guide your students to talk truth to authorities", and so on.

They go after two groups:

1. Indians who haven't gotten out of their mental colonization and speak angrez only even when they are in India, even among those who can understand their mothertongue
2. Hindus: This is a little tricky in that most Hindus who can read and understand these people are HINOs and/or suffering from "Guilt" of their ancestors oppressing "daleets", believed in "polytheistic nonsense", and "superstitious". The billion or so Hindus who are going about their business of daily living and celebrating festivals etc. neither understand them nor do they have time to vest in countering them.

It is our bureaucracy who has to uphold India's interests.

Firstly, whether they are capable of doing that is one question. That has been answered in the negative by Rajiv Malhotra in a video in which he analyzes the IAS syllabus as well as the competence or lack there off of the coaching classes.

That said, not all babus are incompetent. The incompetent and/or corrupt do not rise beyond district collector or commissioner of some small local govt. establishment. The ones who rise up in the hierarchy have to step around various "communal" IEDs that have planted in India/'sooth asia' over the years.

Of course, we in the know, can and should do what we can to show these bigots to be what they are. It costs money and time.

What you say above makes sense.
You are saying that academics conveniently use Hindus as a whipping boy to advance their careers.
But what I don't understand is that they NEVER use Islamics for the same cause. Why is that? 99%+ of world terrorism is caused by Muslims and these people are obsessed about "Hindutva" which actually means "Hindu-ness" but Savarkar is supposed to have written a "racist and fascist" article defining it to be Hindu nationalism excluding everyone else. Even if he did, what pull does Savarkar have today? Most people don't even know what Savarkar did, but his article is used to drum up anti-Modi sentiment.

Their problem is sangh meaning sangathan and how well common yindoos went about it. The laws are also against 'communal' violence and chances of that (against one community) etc so that's their problem. They can't cherry pick individuals anymore without some MSM pointing to the same.

This is all part of the BIF brigade's conversion efforts by denigrating the Hindus and the Hindu religion.

the aim of organizations run by people like zakir naik is conversion and through that, demographic change and ultimately capture political power to undercut and suppress the Hindus. dravidian politics is a prime manifeststion of how this process works.

The dravidian parties in TN are today openly protesting the introduction of the study of a few innocuous chapters of the Bhagwat Geeta as one of the twelve odd optional subjects in a university in madras. This is how the abrahanics behave when in the majority or even in a dominating position.

The prey base for the abrahamics is common and the fertile land, the enormous resources plus the docile, hardworking populace is the prize as it has been for centuries now. wendy donniger, truschke and others like the plentifully numerous clones of sheldon pollock are all part of this manufactured history including our very own sold out romilla thapar.

The ISIS, for example, is currently eyeing the enormous range of medical facilities that are plentifully and easily available in India.

There are plenty of "mislabelled" ISIS fighters receiving medical treatment in dilli and other metros all of whom have been artfully merged with alleged "syrian" refugees of whom there are even greater numbers availing the same medical facilities sureptiously paid for by FFNGOs funded by iran and the saudi+allies gangs.

our greedy corporate hospitals are traitorously profiteering from this trade just as they all gang up to help the pakis navigate the intricate Indian red tape. everyone including (especially) the baboo(n)s get their cuts.

In the end, at the very core of all this is a widely shared sense that Hinduism and the very concept of the integrity of India are under assault by western academics and islamic scholars.

they all want to erase the Hindu cultural identity and rebuild a new one in their own image.

How exactly is this any different from what the savage abrahamic invaders, both xtian and muslim, tried to do to the Hindus, their resources and their land for the twelve odd centuries past.

the strategies are different today and adapted to the changing times but their objectives remain the same as they were for many centuries.

Most western scholars of Indology are not really experts in anything.

Their only claim to fame is "Hamare gali mein hamare kutta sher hein".
