The NIA Bill was passed in both houses and not in one sitting.

This has been posted already., but reposting it again. Reason being simple - there was outrage that why Azam Khan has not been arrested immediately. And there is no thanks from Raita wing when the accused is arrested.

https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/ajaz-khan-tiktok-mumbai-police/

The case

On July 9, the Mumbai Police cyber cell had registered a complaint filed by Shiv Sena activist Solanki against the group of TikTok ‘influencers’– – Faisal Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Faiz Baloch, Adnan Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui, for propagating revenge over Tabrez Ansari’s death.

In a video uploaded in Tik Tok, the group had propagated revenge against people over 22-year-old Jharkhand man Tabrez Ansari’s death. “You may have killed that innocent Tabrez Ansari, but tomorrow if his son takes revenge, do not say that all Muslims are terrorists,” the video claimed.

Ajaz Khan, repeat offender

Recently, hardcore Islamist Ajaz Khan menacingly threatened actor Payal Rohatgi that one day, the entire world will become Muslim. In a misogynist attack against Payal, Ajaz Khan had referred Payal Rohatgi as a C grade actor.

In a hate speech video on Facebook, Ajaz Khan was seen blatantly inciting communal violence. He was found urging the Muslim community to come out on roads. Khan said they should be ashamed of themselves for not coming out on streets after the alleged killing of Tabrez Ansari.

He had threatened that if 40 crore Muslims of the country, including legal and illegal residents, came out on the streets the whole country would be shut down.

This is my opinion so take it for whatever it is worth to you. He is dying for govt to act against him and make him a martyr that is why all these provocations. Any action against these insignificant crooks would only make them popular and stronger. They’ll get national press and be out on bail in a week or two. Wait till they screw up enough to be locked for good.

His provocations are very well worded to beat the law, it’s a trap.

I agree with you that he is trying to bait the Government.
But the Government should not sit and watch. They should arrest him with minimum fuss. Let him rot in jail without internet. What good is to him even if he becomes a martyr?

Problem is in several cases, the perception is BJP guys acted after there was a SM uproar and huge outpouring of angst, anger, people tagging modi, shah etc and expecting results. 4 cases so far, the delhi temple one, the 2 tik tok cases in mumbai and now the richa bharti one. In between, multiple cases of hindus getting attacked and minimal action by cops till pressure started being built up by SM activists/general folks.

Heres where it gets interesting, the idiots who committed these acts took the focus away from the likes of zainab, arfa, ayyub and the wire Congress "sarkari m" who were assiduously building up the dara hua musalman crap via SM and planted stories in WW media. Note, this is what we are seeing on the "outside". In the inside, things would have been far more virulent. Private whatsapp groups, multiple videos, messages etc, clearly there was a targeted attempt by the G-clan and left chamcha apparatus to radicalize the M community, provoke riots by saying Ms reacted to lynching and simultaneously hold Hindus responsible if Hindus counter-attacked. Many of the lynching cases were also suspiciously staged, or were entirely different cases altogether built up into a fake narrative.

In this clime, the M side hotheads took the bait and have started attacking Hindus earlier than planned and the expected counter-reaction hasn't come. People got shocked at it, and wondered why "their Govt" didnt crack down.

Now, theres 2 ways to look at it.

One was this implies BJP is apathetic to hindu interests and used them as a votebank because they didn't react to the attacks on Hindus in time and were watching the whole mess unfold. This was the tack many folks immediately jumped to - "we were betrayed" and that anger remains. Not helped at all by Modi Govt announcing scholarships en masse for minorities in the same timeframe. Horrible optics. Good news is some of the anger has abated after the tik tok idiots, and the temple accused were caught.

Second way to look at it is more interesting. One that I am tending to. Typically before taking action, you have to make a case for it. A lot of pro BJP SM accounts turned from making defensive posts justifying modi's outreach etc to providing detailed, factual accounts of the number of violent crimes being committed against Hindus on account of religion. This completely broke the perception of the entire lynching brigade which was picking up and swaying Hindu fence sitters. So the narrative changed from "oh man, look at whats happening due to the gau-rakshaks" to anger and outrage at BJP for not cracking down on the low-level jihadis being pumped and primed by the inc-left apparatus.

Now add to this the simultaneous push to break down the inc by inducting INC leaders at the grassroots. Also add Shah calling in the dilli police guy reading him the riot act and arrests start taking place. Then the NIA bill. Before that NIA goes and arrests a bunch of guys in TN, WB etc.

So yes, by all means keep pressure on BJP on to ensure they don't turn a Congress B team, but clearly they are also *not* the Congress and a lot of action is being undertaken in a methodical way to uproot the criminal nexus that was hitherto targeting Hindus en masse using covering fire of the OGWs, Left, SJWs etc.

The next phase of action should target the OGWs. They too need to be brought to heel.

I am more positive about Shah doing this than Rajnath. IMHO he did not use HM to max extent possible in the 1st term, allowing for multiple riots etc to take place country wide with impunity.

What happens is that the Hindus (and the so called "core" voters) always hit out at Na.Mo and A.Shah for any petty case happening in India against the Hindus. Richa Bharti's case is the prime example. This was one issue which the local BJP-wallahs at a Taluq or Police Circle level could have handled. The BJP needs to be kept on pressure; but that does not mean A.Shah and Na.Mo has to be pressurised. The pressure should be on the local BJP folks - who generally have been piggybacking on the popularity of Na.Mo and A.Shah. Let them also be made equally responsible (at their own levels).

And not even any media uproar. Looks like CITU, INTUC and all other trade union fellahs are not even aware of this. And useless parties like CPI and CPI(M) are any way of no significance in Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. Perhaps it is their failure, which also forced them to kind of completely ignore the changes in laws. Why bring up an issue which they were to avoid, but could not avoid proving themselves as useless?

For those interested in avoiding media-fed outrage factories, it's worth keeping a regular watch of
PRS Lok Sabha bill tracker
It provides updates on the status of various bills, as well as day to day activity summaries. The language is very easily readable.

Take for example Protection of Human Rights (Amendment) bill 2019
It does several notable things:
1. Previously NHRC chairperson could only be someone previously SC CJ. The bill changes it to anyone who's been an SC judge.
2. Previously SHRC chairperson could only be someone previously HC CJ. The bill changes it to anyone who's been an HC judge.
3. Reduces tenure from 5 to 3 years and retirement age from 72 to 70.
4. Strengthens Secretary-General position to one that covers all but judicial actions, and not just tasks delegated to them by chair.
Unlawul Activities Prevention Bill

For those interested in NEP 2019, the draft of the bill remains open for comment until July 31. An open challenge to those who feel passionately about this bill - construct your own feedback and provide it to the MHRD and Parliament . Yelling about it here is nothing more than waste of time in comparison to grabbing this opportunity while it's in front of you. PRS even has its own summary of it.

There are definitely some issues and groundwork is missing to educate younglings about the past and why you don't want nehru based party ever again. Even local BJP councilors can't tell you one thing about it. That's just not going to work out that well to be so disconnected from the younger ones. Parents are at the biggest fault here for raising their kids by not talking about the past. Local mandirs are also at fault for not educating on the past. Once basic needs are met then people start looking for something else and one such thing missing is law and order on many fronts like liquor, drugs, love jihad, forceful property sign offs, FIRs not getting registered etc.

In my opinion, there needs to be more shibirs to talk about what has happened to Hindus. We need more and more Pushpendra like people. Young generation needs to be made curious about the issues. When one monitors videos being exchanged, it's clear that the caste politics is kicking back in while muslim threat is being whitewashed.

BJP needs to urgently recalibrate its Gujarat strategy: The model delivered India to Modi, but it has now reached a saturation point
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/bjp-nee ... ion-point/
There are at least three deep problems with BJP in Gujarat. To some extent, they are unavoidable. Yet the sooner the BJP and its supporters begin to admit them, the better. And the search can begin for real solutions.

First, the BJP is facing a problem of leadership in Gujarat. It’s not like Vijay Rupani is particularly to blame. It’s more of a case of who he is destined to be compared to all the time.

Where is the Gujarat BJP going to find another Narendra Modi? The RSS machinery is good at producing leaders but you simply don’t get talent like that on demand.

Second, the electorate that used to vote for the BJP in Gujarat is simply no longer around. Winning six elections in a row means that most young people in Gujarat quite simply have grown up with nothing other than BJP rule.

Young people are going to rebel against the way their elders used to think. This has been happening for thousands of years. People naturally crave “change” in their lives : you can only go on so long by promising to keep things exactly the way they are. Before people start yawning and stop paying attention.

In the 2017 Gujarat election, the BJP ran ads reminding people about the Congress’ KHAM (Kshatriya, Harijan, Adivasi & Muslim) formula and how caste politics had harmed the state. The KHAM formula comes from Madhavsinh Solanki, who ceased to be Gujarat CM in 1990! To most voters, that’s ancient history. By 2022, that history will get five years older. Where is the room left for BJP to campaign?

Third, Gujarat is finally beginning to run up against the limits of the “Gujarat model.” Much of the “Gujarat model” is that of last mile delivery of basic amenities, creating contacts between the government and the public and then using an extensive network of karyakartas to knock on each door and convert these contacts into votes.

This part of the “Gujarat model” was replicated on a massive scale nationwide between 2014 and 2019. No other way to get an 8% positive swing in Uttar Pradesh. (The other part of the Gujarat model was a pro-business approach to economic policy, which was not pursued nationwide with much zeal.)

Mods: where should we catalog islamic reality news?

Hindu boy’s family forced out of village for marrying Muslim girl, police advices boy to convert as villagers threaten to kill
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/hindu-b ... n-to-kill/
Following the marriage of two lovers belonging to different communities in Saharanpur, village locals have forced the newly married couple along with their family into exile. A resident of Biharigarh, Amit was in love with a Muslim girl named Aarzu, who got married recently. The girls’ relatives along with the police in charge of the village are accused of pressurising Amit to convert his religion. The girl’s family members have also threatened to kill the couple.

Amit was rounded up by the local police in-charge and brutally thrashed by him. The young man claimed the police in-charge not only assaulted him but also said that either he will have to convert or he will have to leave the girl. Sensing a palpable threat to their lives, the couple approached city SSP for protection.

Talking to media, Aarzu said that her in-laws family has been banished from the village by her family and other villagers. She said that villagers have threatened that the couple will be killed. Aarzu alleged that when they went to the police station seeking protection, the police instead thrashed Amit, advising him to either convert or leave his wife. She confirmed that they want to live together and sought protection.

Villagers and girl’s relatives are apparently miffed with the fact that Aarzu, a Muslim, had married a Hindu man. Amit’s accusation about the local police in-charge assaulting and intimidated him to convert his religion points out to the police officer being in cahoots with the villagers and girl’s family members.

Mangaluru villagers caught Mohammad Ansari raping a calf, police arrests villagers for ‘hurting religious beliefs’
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/mangalu ... s-beliefs/
Yesterday, an extremely repulsive case of bestiality came to the fore, where a man named Mohammad Ansari raped a calf in Kunjathbail of Mangaluru. He reportedly tied the limbs of the calf with a rope and then raped the calf.

The Mangaluru police, along with registering a case against the perpetrator, have surprisingly, booked the three activists also, who caught Ansari performing the outrageous act.

According to reports, two cases have been registered by the Kavoor police.

The first case was registered against three accused namely Abhi, Sushanth and Prajwal for assaulting and ‘hurting religious beliefs’, along with other charges. They have been booked under IPC sections 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony).

Petition filed in Delhi High Court challenging the prohibition and criminalization of Marijuana, lists medical uses of cannabis
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/petitio ... -cannabis/
A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking the decriminalization of marijuana. The petition by Great Legislation India Movement Trust was filed through advocates Avinash K Sharma and Ashutosh Nagar. The petitioner is being represented by Senior Advocate Arvind Datar and advocate J Sai Deepak.

The petitioner also contends that the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 was passed without taking into consideration the positive aspects of the herb and the history of its usage in India. “The issues addressed by the members of Parliament were predominantly restricted to the problem of illicit drug trafficking and drug addiction among the youth,” the plea argues. The plea also asserts that it is ‘unfathomable’ that the government is running bhaang-shops in the country while marijuana is banned considering the fact that the content of both is the same.

Minority is trying the best to instigate violence.

Haryana: Hindu organisations recite Hanuman Chalisa in protest alleging that two youths were arrested on false molestation charges
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/haryana ... n-charges/
Members of various Hindu organisations, including Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad came together to protest against what they claim a false molestation case registered against two Hindu youths, reports Dainik Bhaskar. The case was registered against Deepak and his younger minor brother, in old Hamid Chowki area in Yamunanagar, Haryana on Thursday,

The Hindus alleged that few people from the minority community were trying to create communal rifts and tensions in the village by falsely accusing the Hindu boys on charges of molestation. They further alleged that the girl from the minority community had lodged a false complaint against Deepak and his minor brother. The protestors confirmed that one of the so-called accused, Deepak was not even present in the village when he was falsely implicated in the crime.

Alleging that the police hurriedly arrested the two youths without even investigating the matter properly, they demanded that members of a peace committee formed by the minority community, who are actually involved in the sudden disappearance of many Hindu girls from the locality be excluded from the same.

The Hindus further said that the Yamunanagar police never takes up the cases against the people of the minority community seriously. On receiving complaints they say they would investigate but the cases but ultimately hush up the matter.

Another one of the typical incidents going on since the realization of islam. Play victims after killing.

Dalit Man Thrashed by Muslim Group after His Bike Hit Woman in Rajasthan's Alwar, Dies
https://www.news18.com/news/india/man-t ... 38341.html
The incident took place on Tuesday in Falsa village when Harish Jatav was riding the two-wheeler and hit the woman who felt unconscious and was taken to a hospital.

Following the incident, Jatav was allegedly beaten up by the woman's neighbour, Umer Sher, and a few others. He sustained critical head injuries due to the thrashing, as per the FIR lodged at Chaupanki police station on the complaint of his father.

A case was registered against Sher and others under IPC sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and under sections of the SC/ST Act, police said.

India always had a tradition of cannabis and the society used to consume in measured ways. However with unkil's war on drugs, they imposed it on all countries where even India had to put a ban on it. Phoren influence led to its banning.

Rahul Gandhi lies, says Priyanka Vadra arrested in UP who was only taken away to a guest house
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/rahul-g ... est-house/
The situation is very tense after the massacre, and the administration does not want anything that can provoke retaliatory violence. Therefore, no political party is allowed to visit the site for the time being. District administrations have the right to impose such preventive measures to maintain law and order, and it is not an arbitrary application of power a Rahul Gandhi alleges. It may be noted the two main political parties in the state, SP and BSP have not attempted to violate prohibitory orders realising the gravity of the situation, but the Congress general secretary tried to visit the site.

Rahul Gandhi’s ally in Bengal Mamata Banerjee regularly imposes such restrictions in WB. The WB government regularly stops BJP MPs from visiting even their own constituencies citing law and order situation, but Rahul Gandhi remains silent on such situations. But when a Congress leader is just stopped from violating section 144, he lies by terming it ‘illegal arrest’.

Mandela told me I ought to be in politics: Priyanka Gandhi

Amid speculation that Priyanka Gandhi has taken charge as the General Secretary of entire Uttar Pradesh following the resignation of her western UP counterpart Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Congress leader would tour the state in a week’s time. Ms Gandhi-Vadra also made her aspirations to remain in politics clear when she said that Nelson Mandela was her inspiration to join politics.

“To me, he was Uncle Nelson (who told me I ought to be in politics long before anyone else did!). He will always be my inspiration and my guide,”she tweeted remembering the former South African president on his 101st birth anniversary.

This is in reference to you second way to look at it. Just yesterday, a historic site at hampi has been vandalized, no CCTV, no security nothing. Few days before JH CM inaugurated haj house.

Those outraging on twitter are not thinking.

Perfectly reasonable on both counts i.e. wrt Safdarjung Tomb and Haj House in Ranchi.

Yes, exactly. Run silent, run deep. Keep the outward "p-secular" appearance ongoing so the SJW/OGW dont have anything to tom tom to international media etc. Meanwhile, keep doing what needs to be done, with minimal fuss. As said before, start tracking *real* news, not the twitter outrage factory (that is useful to let BJP know of ground level sentiment but lets not ourselves become caught up in the noise).

About the "historic site at Hampi" - do a more interesting thing, see the manner in which it has come out (these incidents were dime a dozen earlier but suppressed by media), see the number of ostensibly pro BJP handles spreading it & see the message being spread "we didn't riot, but are trusting the law to catch the perps despite this grave provocation".

There indeed is a method to the provocations & finally, appears to be a method to the reaction as well, to prevent Guj/Godhra redux and land Govt in a spot, and also managing the low level jihad activity by letting the information flow out, and shape public opinion for the Govt to start taking firm steps.

Around 7 decades worth of left indoctrination in the Indian state wont go away easy, but steps are being taken. Y'day, senior UP cops who didn't take action at Amethi over a SC guy getting assaulted by M thugs, were hauled up in front of a dilli commission (now think of the message that sends across the whole babu establishment in UP).

Also note this:
https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/1-000-e ... rs-2071260
1000 employees in MOH have been sacked in 5 years. Zero news so far, zero fuss. Clearly the inc-left parthenium grass infesting the Indian establishment is being uprooted.

The "arrival" in dilli, of the sharia pasand ponzi scheme accused mansoor khan and his arrest by the ED is no mere coincidence.

The ED has got custody of mansoor khan ahead of the state govt appointed SIT and that has put paid to the scheme of a major political party of tutoring mansoor khan and whitewashing the active involvement of, as is being widely rumoured, many of the political bigwigs and baboo(n)s in the state administration.

the constant postponing of the trust vote is a desperate attempt by the coalition to buy time to destroy evidence and spirit away witnesses who are able to pinpoint the involvement of the political bigwigs of the coalition and baboo(n)s in the state administration and some very shady real estate players.

The ED has got hold of the scamster himself and he will be singing like a canary to safeguard his own skin as well as kith and kin. Some of the scammed may even go so far as to put a hit, a situation well understood in this community.

There is now a strong feeling that the trust vote will be completed by monday itself but the resignations may not be accepted and the disqualifications also will not take place as this allows the congis to keep up their numbers as well as keep their powder dry.

The very subtle warnings from the MHA would have already gone out, conveyed innocuously by some local retired ex baboo(n).

India set to sign US-like defence logistics sharing pact with Russia.

NEW DELHI: India is close to inking a key defence logistics sharing pact which will place it as a rare nation that has such a strategic agreement with both of the old cold war rivals – the US and Russia.

The Agreement on Reciprocal Logistics Support (ARLS) is being seen as an important practical step that could be signed at the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia in early September.

India has a defence logistics sharing agreement with its largest training partner, the US. A similar agreement was also inked with France — another big ally for joint exercises — in 2018.

While using the Sonbhadra massacre to resurrect her career, Priyanka Vadra ignores the steep increase in crime in Rajasthan
In the first 4 months of 2019, as per a TOI report, there was a 40% increase in the number of rapes that have occurred in the state compared to the same period last year.

While Priyanka Gandhi appears overeager to play politics over the heinous crime at Sonbhadra, she appears to be ignoring the significant increase in crimes against women in the Congress-ruled state of Rajasthan.

In the first 4 months of 2019, as per a TOI report, there was a 40% increase in the number of rapes that have occurred in the state compared to the same period last year. 1,509 rape cases were registered in Rajasthan between January-April while in 2018, 1,312 cases were registered during the same time frame.

Attempts were made by the Rajasthan government to suppress the Alwar rape case that shook the conscience of the nation because of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, the family of the victim alleged. The victim’s kin alleged that though they reported the crime to the Alwar police station on May 2 but the cops hushed up the matter due to the polls in Rajasthan. The police cited the lack of staff due to poll duty, as the reason for delaying the investigation.

Priyanka Gandhi and her brother Rahul Gandhi, who was then the Congress president, could not find the moral fortitude necessary to pull up their close associate Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of the State. However, in the aftermath of the monumental defeat in the General Elections, it appears Priyanka Gandhi is using the misery of the kin of the deceased in UP in her bid to resurrect her own political career and the fortunes of her party.

Jain community furious after Kamal Nath government demolishes under-construction Kirti Stambh in Jabalpur
https://www.opindia.com/2019/07/jain-co ... -jabalpur/
The controversy erupted when the Municipal Corporation of Jabalpur demolished the partially constructed Kirti Stambh in Civic Center neighbourhood. The people from the Digambar Jain Community had sought permission to built Kirti Stambh in Civic Center on December 29, 2017. Under resolution 244 of the parliament, the Municipal Corporation had sanctioned them permission on April 6, 2018, and had allotted land of 80 square feet in Civic Center for building the Kirti Stambh.

There is a sense of betrayal among the Jain Community that despite securing requisite approval, their structure was brought down by the Kamal Nath government. On Wednesday, the structure was razed down by the Municipal Corporation without informing the Digambar Jain Community.

Livid at the action of the Municipal Corporation, a delegation of Jain met Madhya Pradesh C Kamal Nath on Friday in Bhopal and submitted a memorandum to him. In the memorandum, they have urged the Madhya Pradesh CM to act against the guilty officials and demanded the restoration of the Kirti Stambh by the government. CM Kamal Nath has assured quick action following the investigation into the matter and promised them to deliberate on their demands.

Madhya Pradesh’s threat to stop supply of Narmada water to Gujarat ‘childish, unfortunate, shameful, politically-motivated and ill-intended:CM Vijay Rupani
https://www.deshgujarat.com/2019/07/20/ ... ay-rupani/
‘Madhya Pradesh Congress government minister Honey Singh has given very unfortunate and politically ill motived statement with lack of information. Chief Minister Kamalnathji is also repeating same statement. I clearly believe that only and only Congress and its governments display such politically ill motived mentality and issue such statements as they are not able to digest their devastating defeat. They are giving political touch to everything which is not good for people. Congress government had on earlier occasion also obstructed the progress of Narmada project through many attempts. Due to Congress government, permission to install gates over Narmada dam was delayed for 7 long years and there was no permission to complete the dam. The Congress party is doing politics over water.’

‘Through my today’s statement, I warn Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and his minister that please Narmada don’t play any politics over Narmada. It is not good for the people. The Congress government has made a childish statement with complete lack of information. Narmada water distribution takes place as per the 1979 award of tribunal 1979. No change can be made to it by any state involved. Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan are linked to Narmada Control Authority (NCA) which was formed by the central govt as per the order by Supreme Court which was very clear, that no change can be done in water distribution pattern upto 2022. If there is anything to rethink, discussion takes place in meeting of NCA and decision is taken by NCA which includes representative of irrigation department of the centre, and representatives of four states. This mechanism is established as per the Supreme Court order. And therefore childish statements that Madhya Pradesh will not release water to Gujarat, doesn’t look good.’

Muslims are being punished for not migrating to Pakistan: Azam Khan

Azam Khan said Muslims have not been able to live a dignified life in India
He was talking about growing incidents of mob lynching in the country
He alleged UP govt is fabricating cases against him as he defeated Jaya Prada

"Why did our ancestors not go to Pakistan? Well, they considered India as their nation. This is our fault. Maulana Azad, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel and even Bapu had appealed Muslims to not migrate to Pakistan," he said when asked about his views on growing incidents of mob lynching.
