Historically turkey has not forgotten or forgiven the Arabs for loosing Caliphate
Groundswell in TSP slowly turning against Arabs for siding with India
Arrow is chummy with Imm
All three feel slighted by the 4fathers for lack of money power(except arrow to a certain extent) inspite of perceived military superiority: Turks looking at ottoman era and TSP claiming ghori ghazni etc
Arrow playing along as he thinks he can with lizard help gain in regional authority and lord over other pissfuls in the region

Basics again.

1. Are the turds and arrow going to replace the arabs as the piggy banks for bakis? Being chums or chum chum means nothing.
2. Do they have sufficient weight with the Americans to get Im the Dim the kind of audience that the Arabs have managed recently?

The answer to the original question is still not clear. It is all about turd and arrows ambition but not enough on what they will gain from an alliance with the bakis.

I agree it is more what Turdogan wants
He is positioning himself as leader of the Sunni
He won’t get approval of the Arabs for that
Imm is grateful of any one standing with him at the moment
As the supposedly declared ‘Diwali Pataka’ available on demand :D
There is already some military cooperation between TSP and Turkey
Don’t forget it is not just the Christians waiting for the second coming of messiah
The pissfuls are waiting for the Mahdi
Every two bit player thinks he is the one :rotfl:

So the turd will get access to the Slam bam in the alliance but are they willing to provide the billions that bakis need to balance the current account every year given that the Arab tap will be turned off and the Arab free/subsidized Oil will no longer flow?

even without the han CPEC money, the pakis can not get out of the han death grip due to long term association and military asset dependability. The hans actually have boots on the ground right now in pukistan under various pretences and can surely ramp up quickly to threatening levels

their major weapon assets for conventional as well as nuke delivery and that level of weapon stores are majorly han dependent.

the hans will know where the pakis have their warheads stashed and what systems the pakis use to keep them safe because the pakis have trusted them since long but it is only after the CPEC fiasco that the han's yellow fangs have become visible to the pakis

the pakis will use the F-16s for which they have a considerable amount of spares squirrelled away for sure.

the pakis are truly hooked and joined to the hans in a way that even the amerikis are not.

the malays are bit players and japan has a major interest in keeping the straits open.

the turkmen are all gas and they don't have staying power for a long stakes game and in a way, they are rivals to the pakis for the "leadership" of the ummah. They each have what the other does not; relative economic strength versus nukes as well as civilizational legitimacy and a bloated, false sense of self worth along with the insecurity of civilizational insecurity.

the leadership of both countries are schizophrenic.

And both TSP and Turks very silent Han treatment of Uighurs
One would have expected Turks to make noise for the other Turkic tribes mis treatment
At one time supporting Northern Alliance in Afghanistan to now dining with TSP never sure what the pissfuls do
Regarding TSP gravy train stopping Turks might feel on less competitor for uyi-maa leadership

because of the ottoman hangover, the turks think that they are best suited to rule or "lead" the sunni ummah.

because of the nukes, the pakis think the same.

but the turks will not / simply can not support the pakis like the hans do or the us does.

Why the IAS Aphsar suddenly found Con-Science

Kannan Gopinathan, lauded for his work during the 2018 Kerala floods, quit the coveted government job on August 21, alleging there was a denial of "fundamental rights" to lakhs of people in Jammu and Kashmir for weeks which disturbed him enough to put in his resignation papers.

India Today TV has learnt that the IAS officer was issued a showcause for the act of omission and commission for misconduct in July by Rakesh Kumar Singh, an undersecretary of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The two-page show cause memorandum cites as many as five reasons for proposed disciplinary action against the officer. The notice includes his visit to his home state Kerala in the wake of the massive flood. Here, the Centre has alleged that the officer failed to submit any report on his return.

Another reason for a show cause was in connection to the preparation of nominations for Prime Ministers Award under various categories for innovations in public administration, in which, the Centre has alleged, he failed to comply on the said directions.

The IAS officer was asked to answer to the advisor in the next ten days of the showcase notice.

A good video of Swamy with title ‘The Kashmir Way forward’. Swamy explained very well about the legality of steps taken by GoI. I am sure all those points mentioned by Swamy were already discussed in depth in BR. He too mentioned Supreme Court’s decision is final.

Around 22:52 he talks about how Modi resisted this idea of presidential order for 5 years but given a commitment to The cadres that it will be implemented as first of things in second term. :)

DT eej bijy inducing whipsaw effect on papparazzi and stock market speculators with statements on PeeAllSee trade war. All in all, Gee-7 reminds me of the song "Apple of Mah Eye"
Her brother was on the sofa
Eating chocolate pie
Her momma was in the kitchen
Cutting chicken up to fry

Her daddy was in the backyard
Rolling up a garden hose
I was on the porch with Charlotte
Feeling love down to my toes

And they were swinging
Yeah they were swinging
Little Charlotte she's as purty... as the angels when they sing
Ah jest cyain't b'lieve it all started on the front porch in the Spring
Jest a-swinging

Apologies to Deana Carter.

Point is, DT has probably forgotten about Cash More. BTW, Little Thin One has just let off a big dhamka.

It seems kashmiris want the lockdown to continue to eventually start international and opposition pressure. They are thinking they can internationalize the issue on the pretext of human rights and pressure GoI and SC to reverse the decision.

We need to stand the ground and play the game as long as possible.

Two parties waiting other to blink first.

the economics of a lockdown will begin to hurt the kashmiri awam...no one in govt is going to blink. Nations have to grow up and learn to take hard decisions. india has always shied away from taking positions on matters / hard decisions. if we are going to behave like a superpower then we better stick to our decisions.

Yes and No. If all they can do is hope international pressure will make GoI reverse its decision, they are living in fool's paradise. Left to their own vices, Indian govt will apply just the right amount of carrots and sticks to turn them around. And dare I say in as humane way as possible. Everybody knows that Indian govt will give more than an honorable exit for KMs from their predicament provided they accept India and Indian constitution and move on. They will get all the help and support they can from rest of India. And they also know it. But its their TFTA arrogance and Islam that comes in the way. But even that can be overcome.

The wild card is TSP. If they up the ante on the LoC and pigLeT attacks, and give oxygen to KMs, then it depends on how effective Indian army can neutralize them. Not what we have been witnessing for all these years where we defend at great cost. That suits TSP and KMs just fine.

^^ separatists don't have any other option. GoI opens the lockdown they unleash violence, keep the lockdown they cry for human rights violation.

They will not resort to violence right away. First they will play victim and then start the violence. To play victim they will need the lockdown as long as they need it to be. Hence the reports that separatist are not allowing shops to open even when GoI is facilitating.

We have two options 1) international opinion be damn and go after the separatist with heavy hammer 2) be patient and play out the game while controlling the narrative

When the decison was taken no one was thinking the things will turn around in a year or heck even in a decade. So its a long game. Thing is, change on paper doesn't change the ground situation. But it opens the door for new change. Separatist want new change to be worse, while we want it to be better. We need to make each day gradually tougher for them to survive. It should be patience for us and long and slow attrition for them.

India will not send troops to Afghanistan because the other "main" parties to the AfPak deal are not going to accept it. We need to get over our fascination for deployment of Indian troops in Afghanistan.

1. Why will Taliban that is opposed to US troops accept Indian troops instead? Remember, they are opposed to any "Foreign" troops on Afghanistan soil.
2. Bakis have forever opposed ANY Indian presence in Afghanistan. Why will they suddenly accept Indian troops?
3. Can a peace deal be reached without the concurrence of BOTH Taliban and Bakistan?

Modi got himself invited to G-7 so that he could personally discuss Kashmir with the most important leaders of the world.

1. They are important especially now with the UN Human rights hearing coming up soon where Bakis are going to make a big play and at the UNSC to block any blowback. The bakis are going to try the UNSC again via the UNRC.
2. Modi needs one on one to present his case personally with the decision makers of the respective countries. The briefing till date have only happened via diplomats in India and abroad.
3. He could have hopped on to a plane to each capital BUT that would take a lot of time. Here he gets to meet everyone over 1-3 days.
4. Capital hopping at this stage would have made him look "weak" running helter-skelter looking for support. Very bad for optics.
5. Plus him getting invited to the G-7 sends a message across our neighborhood and the world of Modi's and India's arrival. Reinforces optics of a "resurgent and confident" India.

This is a deft move. Kudos to whoever thought of it. I am only analyzing it after the fact.

The story is "Environment". Something that our PM actually cares about (and as Indians we are among the first to be affected by environmental crises); and having India by the side gives Macron a lot of heft.

Day 21: Situation NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARMAAAL

Truck driver murdered by stone-throwing terrorists, but that is just "stone-throwers will be stone-throwers". I hope that the incident led to at least 100 sh1ts being transported in chains to Arunachal Road-Building. Permanently. And their homes being bulldozed. Plus a few hanged after high-profile trial, for murder.

Judging from ModiJi & Trump bahadur’s statements, I surmise the following. Certainly nobody likes the word ‘meditation’ but Unkil is definitely talking to both India and TSP behind the scenes. Taliban khan during his address may make some conciliatory noises on pigLeTs and ask for talks.ModiJi might very well respond positively, who knows. As for what happens after that, who knows. I hope I am wrong.

You might well be right and there is nothing wrong in what you have speculated even if it were to happen.

1. China calls Modi. China talks to Dim. China talks to Modi. Happen. Nothing wrong. Now Replace China with France or UK or US. Nothing changes.
2. Baki-India talks have NEVER been dismissed outright by India.
a. India is willing to talk to Bakistan without the overhang of terror.
b. India is willing to talk on J&K with bakistan as was confirmed just a week or two back by Ninda Turtle the Defense Minister.

What is surprising about anyone of the above?

Then why is ANZAC left out? :(( Bigger in influence than Canadastan by a long way todin. Canada is about on par with Iceland. Italy with Ireland. I can't remember if Ireland was on UK side or Deutschland side in WW2. The movie Ryan's Daughter indicated both ways.

Ajay Kumar, 16, from Udhampur and Mehmooda from the Kawdara area here were injured in separate incidents of stone throwing on Monday.
The incident comes a day after a civilian was killed in stone throwing at Anantnag in south Kashmir, the police said.
“Mr. Kumar was injured in Pulwama’s Kakapora. He sustained injuries in the right eye and nose. Mr. Mehmooda was injured in the right eye and nose. Both were admitted to Srinagar hospitals,” the police said.
“Whosoever will be involved in stone throwing will be dealt with sternly under the law.”
Third death
The death in Ananthnag is the third of a civilian in street protests since the August 5 decision to revoke the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
One youth from the Safakadal area here drowned after security forces chased local protesters. A 65-year-old man died after inhaling gas of a tear-smoke shell, according to his family members. Over 60 protesters were injured in the Valley since the revocation of the special status.
Shops, educational institutions and private offices remained closed for the 22nd day in Kashmir, even as the authorities lifted restrictions in the jurisdictions of 69 of the 109 police stations in the Valley. The number of private vehicles plying on the roads showed an upward trend in the commercial hub of Lal Cowk on Monday, but the old city witnessed little traffic. Public transport remained off the roads.

Explaining the new criteria, a police officer said that “anybody who is greeted by more than 10 people in a mohalla is a potential mob mobiliser” and “thus seen as a threat”. A lower-rung PDP worker from South Kashmir said that since 2016, he has been living away from home because of the militants’ threat. “Now the government too is after us. I can’t go home because I may be killed by militants. I can’t stay here because I may be picked up by police. I am hiding from both the sides now,” he said.
He echoes the questions being asked on the ground. “For us, Mufti was India in Kashmir. Our party was in alliance with BJP till last year. How can any government go after us?’’ he asked. “Perhaps over time, we had forgotten that when the day comes, we would be treated like any other Kashmiri — nothing more than suspects and jailed”.
Asked about the detention of mainstream leaders, the government spokesman in Srinagar said: “Local authorities are taking all such steps as may be necessary to maintain public order. I assure you that everything that is being done is being done under appropriate laws”.
