Point is, the Pakis very kindly walked right into the UNHR tamasha with "kick me" painted on their musharrafs. And Baloch, Pashtuns, Afghans, Balwaris, Sindhis, Sikhs, Ahmadiyas, all obliged even more kindly. This apparently got so bad that not only was their Resolution Condoming Indian Jennocide not passed, THEY MISSED THE DEADLINE FOR EVEN FILING IT (probably means that they found no one to second it. KSA and PeeAllSee probably not too keen to hold up THEIR mijjiles in that forum, given their stellar records.
So now when Indian jarnails repeat the POK-GB-Swat-Pashtuns-Sindh Freedom refrain, they are merely repeating the Proceedings of the UN Human Rights Conference.

If this were krikit, Imran should be up for match-fixing.

Baloch, Sindhi, Pashto groups gather in Houston to seek help from Modi, Trump

Representatives of Sindhi, Baloch and Pashto groups have gathered in Houston to hold a demonstration in front of the NRG stadium on Sunday to draw the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump for gaining freedom from Pakistan.

Scores of members of the Balochi American, Sindhi American and Pashto American communities landed in Houston on Saturday from various parts of the US to hold the first-of-its-kind demonstration in America, wherein they will collectively urge the leaders of India and the United States to help them get freedom from Pakistan.

Army war-gamed possible PoK action; plans ready: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat
The Army chief also said Pakistan has acknowledged supporting terrorism in J&K and it is doing this under the garb of helping the local population. Pakistan is hungry for ‘attention’ and is adamant about ensuring third-party intervention on the Kashmir issue, he added.

While speaking about possible action in PoK, Rawat said: “The Army’s 15 Corps performs war games and it is not only on defending land. Some of them would involve going across. Even 14 Corps does such war games. Some of them would involve going across. Even 14 Corps does such war games. So, there are plans.

The Srinagar-based 15 Corps, besides being largely involved in counter-terrorist operations, has operational tasks against India’s western neighbour. The 14 Corps, based in Leh, is involved in operations not only on the western front, but on the eastern one with China as well.

The officer also said the focus should now be taken away from J&K and be placed on the other side. “It is important to take the heat off J&K. It would have to be taken to the other side — PoK and Gilgit Baltistan,” he said.

Earlier this month, Rawat had said the Army was always ready for any action in PoK, should the government pass orders for it.

^so far pakis have gotten away with due to a politically defensive posture from india without little defensive mechanisms and that too for a full blown war..this reset of political will, imposes cost on them in addition to keep them guessing...i am hoping they would turn wiser based on their last two experiences..but so far they havent given any indication apart from the fact that they dont want to start a war against india

Bakis still think that they the option of sub-conventional war is open and have pushed about 60 JeM terrorist into India after 5th August. A couple more Balakot type operations will be needed to convince them that option too is too expensive. It took more than 2 conventional wars to drive home the message that it was not an option.

What the above statements tells us is that IA is doing hawai firing to let the bakis know what they have coming and warn them off. But I guess the TSPA, the prime motivator, has to learn it the hard way.

Perhaps, next time, we will see India make a grab for some Territory in the Neelam valley. That will be another test of the baki red-line on nuke usage.

I would be a bit cautious about that. It shows that either the Paki protest was massive, or that they brought 5 times their own mass in trash, which is pretty awesome.

Saw video. They were about 200 max.

Saw another video. About 12-15 odd trucks arrived. This is america, they cannot cramp hundred in one truck. That is health hazard. Plus they need to take prior permission for parking. They can't say "meri marzi" and bring 100 trucks, park on road everywhere and choke the entire traffic. So about 10-15 toilets per truck including banners, placards , food, drink etc.

This is great messaging from the GoI to deter any spectaculars like Pulwama or Assembly attack or some massive, coordinated BAT action because that will result in punitive action not only on the LOC but also deep within, which can result in large casualties.

The FATF threat is only good till it lasts as threat. If they are put into the blacklist, or if they get out of the grey list, in both eventualities, it wont affect them as an incentive anymore.

However, while I think PAkis are smart enough to avoid spectaculars now, I fully expect a slow trickle of AKs and grenades into Kashmir, which will be handed over to local youthias to create 'slow mayhem' with, with a few attacks and many single digit casualties every day. How do we deter the local youthias from this, given that AKs are available to even back country gangs like in a recent incident in Rajasthan?

One incentive that earlier J&K govts. were providing, like compensation and jobs is already gone. Believe it or not, the families of terrorists killed in encounters were given compensation, and a state govt. job by PDP! This incentive is now gone. We should telegraph that the relatives and friends of terrorists will be made to suffer. Nothing extra legal, but there are tonnes of legal ways to make life problematic for the families of terrorists.

School headmasters, who incent a few of their ample brood to pick up a gun and fire it at other human beings are obviously unfit to be employed! This sort of thing needs to be fixed and I am sure the govt will do it.

Yes, Poorie aside, I think it's good that she was invited. No one can accuse us of stifling voices and in contrast to Pakistan, one can criticise the policies of GOI. She has been allowed to visit her mother who is enjoying the facilities and rich wazwan of Centaur resort whilst Mohsin Dar and Ali Wazir vanished off the surface of the nation. This sits well against enforced disappearances by TSP.

Sometimes we need to do things that are just in our interest. What Indian interest was served by giving an entitled dynast, whose parents have given her generational wealth collected illegally, such a large platform? This is bull gobar. Please tell me, as a result of this, which western critic has said, see see, India is a free country because Iltija was given an India Today platform?

In fact, such a thing encourages other separatists that there is still a constituency in India for their views and their kind of politics. Poorie needs to suffer for this.

What is fascinating is there has hardly been any major incident post Aug 5 370 pull out! We seem to know the exact trouble maker.

Pak is not even able to get it cronies overground and terrorist to create any trouble, despite so much of ho-ha..

GoI has been working on this plan for a while. They cleaned off the terror groups, specially Pak elements who provide leadership. This has hit Pak's ability to create any trouble.

For all the claim about "world's most dangerous place with nuclear... ", there has no noise! Not even major patar throwing..

India finds support on Kashmir move as Pakistan struggles for traction - Chidanand Rajghatta | TNN

HIGHLIGHTS

- “Modi will not turn back from his elimination of Kashmir’s autonomy. That phase of Indian history is over…I’d bet on Modi to transform India, all of it,” a prominent US analyst has said

- The endorsement came just ahead of Imran Khan’s meeting with Donald Trump and other world leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting

WASHINGTON: New Delhi’s decision to better integrate Jammu and Kashmir into the Indian union by scrapping its special status is irreversible and might lead to a brighter future for the region, a prominent US analyst has said in the first major endorsement in the western commentariat of the Modi government’s move, which also found implicit support from US President Donald Trump in Houston on Sunday.

“Modi will not turn back from his elimination of Kashmir’s autonomy. That phase of Indian history is over… I’d bet on Modi to transform India, all of it, including the newly integrated Kashmir region,” columnist Roger Cohen wrote in an op-ed in the New York Times, virtually asking Pakistan to accept the decision and move on just hours before Imran Khan was slated to meet Trump to raise the issue among other matters.

Cohen also noted that “Trump chose to signal approval (of India’s Kashmir move) by standing side-by-side with the prime minister” in Houston, while expressing concern over whether the Trump administration’s indifference over human rights issues offers a carte blanche to leaders like Modi.

“Still, by Kashmiri standards, bloodshed has been limited,” Cohen wrote, rubbishing the Pakistani allegations of genocide in the region. “The question, however, is whether Modi had any choice in Kashmir and whether, over time, the revocation of an article conceived as temporary breaks the Kashmiri logjam, pries open the stranglehold of corrupt local elites and offers a better future. I think it might,” he added.

The endorsement, coming in the weighty New York Times which is traditionally leery of India’s foreign policy, came just ahead of Imran Khan’s meeting with Donald Trump and other world leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, with the Pakistani leader asserting he will be unrelenting in raising the Kashmir issue.

But Cohen trashed Khan’s approach, saying his reaction has been “wild” and “suggesting Modi has sympathy for the Third Reich, comparing him to a Fascist leader and stating that he may commit “genocide,” is to protest too much.”

“Raising the possibility of nuclear war is reckless. All this suggests his bluff has been called,” Cohen wrote, adding that “Whether Pakistan really wants a solution in Kashmir, the region that justifies its bloated military budget, and whether it can ever transparently demonstrate that its intelligence services have stopped finding uses for radical Islamism in its various violent forms, remain open questions.”

Indeed, Khan was brazen in once again raising the specter of nuclear war in the subcontinent at a think-tank event on Monday morning, warning that "anything could happen" in the nuclearised region if the world did not pay heed to the Kashmir issue.

Skepticism about Pakistan's concern for human right also trailed Khan’s at the Center for Foreign Relations event, where questions directed at him centered not on the situation in Kashmir, which Pakistan has tried to drum up, but on the dreadful state of women and minorities within Pakistan.

Khan blabbered through boilerplate answers even as he was embarrassed by questions about how he could be blasé about China’s crackdown on Uighur Muslims while expressing concern over plight of Muslims elsewhere.

“We talk to them (Chinese) privately (about their treatment of Muslims). I’ve got enough on my plate,” Khan explained defensively.

Khan in fact indicated that he would challenge Trump’s expression of “radical Islamic terrorism” being a threat to the world, maintaining that there was only one kind of Islam and it was peaceful, and there were radicals in every religion.

The moment when a Pakistani Journalist goes into a rhetoric mode on Kashmir, Trump asks Imran Khan: ‘Where do you get reporters like these?’ Then asks the reporter: ‘Are you from his (Imran) team? You are making a statement, not asking a question’. Pak Channel stops broadcast.

Earthquake hits PoK: Death toll rises to 19, over 300 injured

An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hit Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir on Tuesday. The tremors were felt in parts of Pakistan and North India. At least 19 people have been killed near the epicentre.

According to co-ordinates released by the US agency, the epicentre of the earthquake was located near the New Mirpur city in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Isn't Mirpur the center of pukiness in POK.
Anyway, I can clearly see that Amreekha is responsible for this and they used HAARP like weapons for this.

Poorie needs to suffer for this.

the last line is very true.

I wrote a nasty letter, though I doubt they will publish.
The jist of it was on basis a kid, who has done nothing apart from being the daughter of a corrupt politician (who received approx 2% of the votes of the electorate in her home town) gets invited as a speaker to a conclave which is supposed to be about the finest minds in the world giving gyan to us lesser people.

Pity it was just 5.8 A bit more and it could have destroyed the Mirpur dam (biggest one in Pak).
