Looked up, keran is shown in Indian side. Anyone with any news on this?

Keran is very much an Indian village. This guy's tweets seem to be dubious, could be a fake account.

The area across the river in PoJ&K is also called Keran as evident from the names of lodges in the map screenshot below. It seems to have sparsely populated houses and forest cover. Indian Army make have shelled some particular safe houses there.

The Indian Army on Saturday rejected social media rumours that it opened the fence at the Line of Control (LoC) and captured a village in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Army said that such speculation were being spread on social media by vested interests to further the agenda of Pakistan. News agency ANI cited Army sources labelling the rumours as part of Pakistan’s misinformation campaign

London report hints at Nawaz Sharif’s poisoning test, foul play
LONDON: A leading University College Hospital and Harley Street Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Hematologists at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital have hinted that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s toxicology screening for poisoning will be ordered in London if no cause or cure is found of his unstable platelets.
In a report submitted on Friday before the Lahore High Court, a copy of which is available with this correspondent, Dr David R Lawrence has written: “If the platelet count does not respond, he may be considered for possible toxicology screen. We want to target a platelet count between 50-150 to allow safe treatment with anti-platelet therapy.”
Hussain Nawaz, the eldest son of former prime minister, raised alarm while his father was in Pakistan that the family suspected that Nawaz may have been poisoned while in the custody of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Speaking to media in London last week, he repeated that the family didn’t blame anyone but said that doctors were worried about the platelets issue and especially the fact that Nawaz’s platelets count fell sharply and radically from over 75,000 to just about 2,000 within 24 hours while he was in custody.
Dr Lawrence has told the court that he examined Nawaz Sharif, 69 years of age, in his clinic in London. He wrote: “He (Nawaz Sharif) suffers from various significant ailments and comorbidities. He has been reviewed by the Hematology Team at the Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital and London Bridge Hospital and has most likely ITP, the trigger and underlying cause for which is unclear, but he is having a slow response to first and second line therapies.”

The Indian Army, on Dec 21st, thats saturday, announced through loud speakers, that all traffic in the neelam Valley road, leading to Atmukkam, be stopped, if not they will be targeted.
There is a full scale, bombardment of properties, in the Neelum valley.
And, the poor Pakis, cannot afford to hit back.
IS THERE SOMETHING HAPPENING WHICH WE DONOT KNOW ABOUT?

^^ Nothing much apart from what is apparent ...

Bakis activated multiple launchpads in Lepa and Neelam valley. IA decided to target those pads and to prevent further build/rebuild/replenishment by asking for all road {vehicular} traffic to cease going in or out. Also to punish BakMil deployed in the region effected. No fresh ration/provisions/weapons/etc for them 'cos all such movement will now be targeted.

I guess soldiers can still lug rations & weapon all the way from outside to their forward post on their back. Officers can still walk up to the forward post to boost morale. Plus civilians can still trek out to safety.

KL Summit fallout
Editorial, December 23, 2019
THE dangers of lack of proper planning and foresight at the state level, especially in sensitive matters of foreign affairs, have become apparent in the fiasco that resulted when Pakistan absented itself from the Kuala Lumpur Summit, which wrapped up on Saturday.
The moot was touted as a forum to discuss the “state of affairs of the Muslim Ummah” and Dr Mahathir Mohamad, one of the architects of the summit, explicitly said the conclave was not a replacement for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
This is the fifth edition of the summit and the 2019 meeting was given an additional boost as Dr Mahathir, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Imran Khan had sought to make the forum a proactive one, along with other Muslim leaders, to discuss the state of affairs in the lands of Islam. However, Pakistan’s abrupt withdrawal from the summit caused diplomatic embarrassment. This was compounded by revelations by Mr Erdogan on Friday that the Saudis asked Pakistan to withdraw or else face the expulsion of Pakistani expatriates from the kingdom as well as the withdrawal of Saudi funds deposited in this country. The Saudi embassy in Islamabad has termed these comments “fake news”. As we have stated previously in these columns, proper homework should have been done before committing Pakistan to the summit.
Withdrawing from the moot at the last minute, after Prime Minister Imran Khan made a dash to Saudi Arabia, did little to lift our international image. This reflects bad form and a lack of planning at the top.

‘Detached from realities’: Pakistan blasts US for selectively targeting states in ‘religious freedom’ blacklist
24 Dec, 2019 23:25 / Updated 2 hours ago
Pakistan’s inclusion on the US blacklist of “countries of particular concern” for religious freedom violations has provoked ire in Islamabad, where it was condemned as arbitrary, detached from reality, biased and unfair. The State Department’s designation of Pakistan was “unilateral and arbitrary,” Pakistan’s Foreign Office said in a statement on Tuesday. “This pronouncement is not only detached from ground realities of Pakistan but also raises questions about the credibility and transparency of the entire exercise.” The designation is reflective of selective targeting of countries, and thus unlikely to be helpful to the professed cause of advancing religious freedom.

Pakistan was first placed on the list in 2018, accused of engaging in or tolerating “systematic, ongoing, egregious violations of religious freedom.” The US Commission for International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), a government-funded body operating separately from the State Department, said it was “particularly gratified” by the designation.
Washington specifically referenced the case of Asia Bibi, a Catholic woman jailed in 2009 under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws and sentenced to death. She was eventually released in 2018 after the Supreme Court voided her conviction.
Despite Bibi’s release, the US did not remove Pakistan’s designation in the 2019 update to the list. Islamabad thus found itself in the same company as China, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Myanmar, as well as “entities” such as the Al-Nusra Front, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), the Taliban, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

However, Pakistan did manage to avoid sanctions envisioned under the designation, which were waived on grounds of “national interest” – as was also the case with Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

The US has maintained a religious freedom blacklist under a 1988 law, passed at the peak of “humanitarian interventionism” by the Clinton administration. The law also established the CIRF, which recently drew the ire of India by criticizing New Delhi’s new citizenship rules.

Though opposed on almost every issue since the 1947 partition, Pakistan and India thus find themselves agreeing that US meddling in their affairs on the pretext of caring about “religious freedom” is unwelcome and worthy of condemnation.

https://www.dawn.com/news/1524141/pakis ... violations
Pakistan rejects 'unilateral and arbitrary' US designation for religious freedom violations
Naveed Siddiqui, December 24.
Pakistan on Tuesday rejected its listing by the United States as a violator of religious freedoms, saying the "unilateral and arbitrary designation" is not only detached from the ground realities of Pakistan but also raises questions about the credibility and transparency of the entire exercise.
The Foreign Office in a strongly worded statement also questioned the "conspicuous omission" of India from the list, saying it reflected the "subjectivity and bias" of the US State Department’s designations.
The US had last week retained Pakistan among the countries that tolerate religious discrimination. The determination, made on December 18, includes Myanmar, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan among the states that have been re-designated as “Countries of Particular Concern (CPC)”.
The State Department makes these designations under the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 and countries on the CPC list are classified as “having engaged in or tolerated systematic, ongoing, [and] egregious violations of religious freedom”.
Countries in this category can face further actions, including economic sanctions, by Washington.

'Ganguly's four-nation tournament will be a flop'
December 25, 2019
Former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif believes the four-nation tournament proposal revealed by BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will f'lop' like the Big Three model.
The former Pakistan wicketkeeper saw it as an attempt by the formidable trio of India, Australia and England to isolate other member nations.
"By playing such a series, these four countries want to isolate the other member nations, which is not good news. But I think this will be a flop idea like the Big Three model, which was introduced a few years back," said Latif in a YouTube video.
Last week, Ganguly had said plans are afoot to organise a four-nation meet, involving cricket's heavyweights, from 2021, for which discussions had been held with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA).
"Australia, England, India and another top team will feature in the Super Series, which begins in 2021, and the first edition of the tournament will be played in India," former India captain Ganguly had said in Kolkata.

A funny happening.US made carrier launch gear in containers maked "empty", arrived at Mundra Port..from Pak, docs. inside said that they were for the " Saudi Land Forces"!
Now the Saudis don't have a carrier at all, neither does Pak, nor do we need such eqpt. as our CVs use ski jumps.Plus the US would simply fly out eqpt. from one of its bases like DG if any of its carriers in the region required the same.

So where was the gear heading for?.
Suspicions fall upon a Paki smuggling plot to send it on to " all-weather friend" China, whose 3rd. large CV is reportedly to use a CATOBAR launch system.Intel reports indicate that the PLAN is having problems with operating carriers, as its Ru SU-33 clones
aboard the Liaoning and Shandong aren't performing very well
given the aircraft's size ,cloned birds not as capable as the Ru originals ( less powerful engines) and limitations of using the ski-jump launch system.China has been for decades past masters at purloining advanced military and industrial tech from the west especially from the US.Carrier launch technology is crucial for it to perfect its carriers and thereby its global maritime ambitions.
Here perhaps is one act of brigandry that went kaput!

Dec 25, 2019 :: US aircraft launch gears for carriers mistakenly land in Gujarat

An early New Year present for India.

NEW DELHI: Two aircraft launching gears meant for ‘Royal Saudi Land Forces’ have illegally landed at a private port in Kutch district of Gujarat through Pakistan, sending security forces into a tizzy.

The load -- ‘military grade’ aircraft launching gears -- were, intriguingly, not declared on two containers in which they were stuffed and packed aboard Kyoto Express ship at a New York port on November 8.

The containers were shown as ‘empty’. But when customs officers at Mundra port opened them on Friday, they found aircraft launching gears -- essentially used in aircraft carriers to assist takeoff of jets from the deck. That there is something fishy about containers was first detected by a surveyor of the shipping line when it was moved to the yard, customs department sources told ET on conditions of anonymity.

What has raised eyebrows in the customs and other security agencies such as the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) is why the two containers were not offloaded like some others after berthing the Kyoto Express -- a carrier owned by Hapag-Lloyd Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg in Germany -- at Jeddah port?

“Officials could not figure out what it was from the literature and other papers lay in the containers after both were opened,” said a senior officer aware of the development. “Subsequently, shipping line was asked to get bill of lading from its main office in New York.” During the initial probe, custom officials realised that the bill of lading procured from shipper DHL Global Forwarding of United States clearly stated that the consignee is ‘Royal Saudi Land Forces’ and the gears were to reach: ‘Prince Sultan Road, HWY 156 Jizan Saudi Arabia’, documents accessed by ET show.

But, in the import general manifest (IGM), which the shipping line files with the customs department, these two containers were declared “empty”.

The vessel departed from New York and sailed through three to five ports, including Karachi, before dropping 300 odd empty containers, including the two suspicious ones, at Mundra port on Friday night.

An inquiry by the ET pointed out that Hapag-Lloyd official website showed the containers were unloaded at Mundra at 22.22 pm on December 20.

The Saudis, however, do not have an aircraft carrier in their fleet. Diplomats at Saudi Arabia embassy here were not available for comments, despite attempts by ET.

The customs department at Gujarat has sent a detailed report informing its Delhi-based nodal national agency, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, about the mysterious landing of catapults for jets.

Sanjay Agarwal, principal commissioner of customs for Mundra port, said, “Before reaching to any conclusion I would not like to reach to any conclusion whether it's a mischief or something else due to sensitivities involved.”

Its gettting tiring and boring with each passing day though as per Paki media each day is bringing a new surprise in Pakiland. Pakis are taking narrative building to new heights domestically and internationally with only its own lapping it up to make more narrative and conspiracy theories, with an accelerating cyclical pace.

So the proverbial the more it changes the more it remains the same is now the norm. There is a proliferation of talk shows and youtube channels to further conspiracies. Pakis have 30+ daily anchor based shows and almost same number of Youtube channels to discuss what is happening in Pakistan. While Pakistanis wake up everyday to new stuff from these hosts, for the outsider it remains a circus with same actors and same predictable theatrics.

This is hard to catch up with and follow for what is meaningful and what is not.

Need to check two other "empty" containers for radiation. If found may not be a bad deal. Equip two carriers.

But, who knows, Babus may just send them back. Hopefully not to Karachi.

Social media star Hareem Shah on Thursday shared footage of an alleged video call with Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid in which she accuses him of sending her ‘indecent’ videos .

In the footage, Hareem can be seen talking to the federal minister on a video call, saying:”Listen to me have I ever revealed anything of yours till now? Then why don’t you talk to me anymore?.”
“Do whatever you want,” Rashid can be heard responding to her.
The social media star then tells the railways minister that,”What do you mean…What about all those naked videos you used to send me have you forgotten about them.”

When Hareem confronts him he hurriedly cuts the video call.
The tweet was deleted by Hareem and she also posted a video message on her account claiming that she had no intention to defame anyone.

“Please get off my back all those who are after me I have better things to do than try to humiliate others”

#HareemShah pic.twitter.com/cGuMV6nVSd
— Hareem Shah (@_Hareem_Shah) December 26, 2019
#Hareemshah soon became the top trend in the country on Twitter with users of the micro-blogging site engaging in an intense debate over the incident.
Certain users were of the view that the case would have been seen through a different lens if Rashid was a female minister.
They claimed that it would be deemed harassment instead of the railways minister being ‘exposed.’
This is not the first time the pair have come under the media spotlight as earlier this year a selfie of them together went viral.

This rates a negative one.

^^ Pak-USA relationship is more complicated than binary. This patronage has 50 shades of grey than just black and white.
It has its own peaks and valleys but never a straight line of a dead man's heartbeat.

United States Will never give up on Pakistan. Its geographical significance being the singular point. It connects to middle east, Central Asia , China and South Asia. We have to live with that idea. Period.

Illogical from American perspective. Today they deal with one nation and they can loot Balochistan anytime they want with all the heavy lifting done by the Punjabi army.

I disagree they can break up Pakistan- its only Significance is its virulently Anti-India stance. Its a tool which they feel can break up India. Thats its biggest importance to many around the world.

United Bengal to be ruled as a Muslim state
And they wanted united Punjab as well.
So would get 40 % dharmic folks to squeeze the hell out and torture
