Illegal migration via Taftan border on the rise
https://www.dawn.com/news/1583283/illeg ... n-the-rise

CHAGAI: Illegal migration by Pakistani citizens in search of better livelihood is growing as 7,984 Pakistani migrants, who were aiming to reach European countries, have been deported after being arrested in different parts of Iran in August and September this year.

According to official sources, these people were handed over to Levies Force officials on daily basis and then prosecuted by the Federal Investigation Agency after interrogation.

Deportation of illegal Pakistani migrants continued via Taftan-Mir Javeh border in October as well, the sources said, adding that the migrants included women and children too. According to Levies Force officials, a majority of the migrants belong to certain areas of Punjab while people from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan are also among those who strive to reach Europe through Iran and Turkey. The whole movement is organised by a chain of human smugglers.

The Levies Force officials say that due to lack of space at the FIA detention centre for a large number of people, the deportees are being received in a limited number on daily basis through Raahdari Gate at Taftan, a town near Pak-Iran border in Chagai district. According to data available with Dawn, 2,955 Pakistani migrants were deported by Iranian authorities in August followed by 5,029 in September.

Sources believe that human trafficking through this route is at its peak and the traffickers are using Chagai, Washuk, Kharan, Panjgur and adjoining districts to run their business. Security forces in these districts have foiled several human trafficking attempts by arresting dozens of migrants and a few traffickers.

Pak army burns down forests to contain Baloch fighters
Abhinandan Mishra, September 26, 2020

New Delhi: Close to .40 square km or 101 acres of forest area in Kech district of Balochistan, that also encompasses a national park and wildlife sanctuary, were allegedly burnt down by personnel of the Pakistan Frontier Corp (FC) and the Pakistan army to dissuade the Baloch freedom fighters from taking refuge in these forests.
Open source Investigation (OSINT) done by The Sunday Guardian by using the satellite images available with NASA clearly shows that almost 100 acres of area with the coordinates at Lat: 25.859, Lon: 62.668 was on fire on 20 September. These coordinates are of Kech. The fire, which started on the night of 19 September, continued till 21 September and despite repeated requests by the local Balcohis to the Deputy Commissioner of Dast tehsil of Kech, no assistance was provided by the civil administration to contain the fire on the orders of the FC personnel and the army.
The Sunday Guardian spoke to two individuals, including one government official, who is based in Kech, who confirmed that the fire was started by the armed forces.

Sindh govt imposes month-long ban on pillion riding in Karachi to 'maintain law and order'

The Sindh government on Sunday announced a month-long ban on pillion riding in Karachi "in order to maintain law and order", as per the suggestion of the city's police chief.

The notification, dated October 11, states that the provincial government has been informed by the Karachi Police chief of reports that "miscreants and disgruntled elements may disturb the peace and create law and order problem in Karachi by carrying out target(ed) killings".

It also noted that recently, incidents of hand grenade lobbying and targeted killings of law enforcement officials and religious scholars had taken place in the city.

I think that was the norm during the phase of terrorism in Punjab. Pillion riding on bikes was banned.

Pakistanis live in an autistic world where Hindus owe them for they happen to worship a certain borrowed god.

It is a joke. Filth, disease and ignorance, corruption, oppression leavened with religious bigotry is their reality.

The ugly face of Pakistan is not visible to the opium consumers.

Reality will hit them in the face as the Indian economy rebounds while Pakistan’s population approaches the Chinese numbers by the end of the century. I can visualise India promulgating shoot on sight orders on its border. I can also anticipate Afghanistan doing the same.

First lesson in Pakistani schools: Hindus are kafirs, Jews enemies of Islam
https://indianarrative.com/world/first- ... 17453.html
As a political analyst, researcher and president of the Paris-based NGO Baloch Voice Association, Munir Mengal has been lobbying for the rights of Baloch people for several years now. The activist in him never misses an opportunity to speak his heart out at a world forum to expose the gross human rights violations perpetrated by the Pakistani government and military in Balochistan. Yesterday, at United Nations Geneva—in the meeting of the 18th Session of the Intergovernmental Working Group on the Effective Implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action—the Baloch representative told the Working Group about how schools in Pakistan are feeding anti-Hindu hatred and also hostility against the Jews.

“Mr. Chairperson, I used to go to school in a very high-standard, state-run Army school called the Cadet College. The first lesson taught to us was that Hindus are kafirs (a pejorative and derogatory term usually used for non-Muslims), Jews are enemies of Islam, and both are liable to death for no other reason. Even today the same is the first, most important and basic message from uniformed Army teachers which is that we have to respect guns and bombs because we have to use these against Hindu mothers to kill them otherwise they will give birth to a Hindu child,” Mengal said in his speech.

Just a few days back when there was a news report of how many Pakistani's foreign passport were in Imran charsi's cabinet. Moeed Yusuf's name had also popped up as a Amreeki Green Card holder.

A Private news channel had said that just like Hussain Haqqani Moeed Yusuf is also employed in an American Think-Tank . They also showed a clip of him saying Imran is just a front of the Pakistani Army and that it is the military establishment which is ruling by proxy :rotfl:

Now he is the Pakistani NSA giving interview to the loser Thapar after smoking some very strong stuff

Pakistan’s Khan ‘pleased’ with country’s reelection to UN Human Rights Council, vows fight against ‘Islamophobia’
https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/10/paki ... lamophobia
Pakistan’s presence on the UN Human Rights Council only illustrates yet again what a cruel joke the UN really is. Pakistan has an abysmal human rights record. Morning Star News reported on October 6 that “Pakistan ranked fifth on Christian support organization Open Doors 2020 World Watch list of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian, and on Nov. 28, 2018, the United States added Pakistan to its blacklist of countries that violate religious freedom.” Hindus and other religious minorities fare no better.

He is the jaziya collecting face of the TSP RAPE. The jihadi/ gazwa-e-hind face is the other one.

So of course he wants trade etc.

I would argue that he is much worse than the others. At least the Jihadi types are less likely to be given a propaganda platform in India by Lutyens brethren of the RAPES. Also, his ideas on trade etc are actually dangerous for us. Better that they stay in their current state of digging a deeper and deeper hole for themselves.

I miss the good old days when this forum was buzzing with activity and threads would move briskly ! Pakistan has been on fire for days now and there's barely a post. Looks like Maryam Nawaz is the only one with ball5 in her family who seem to have opened multiple fronts at the same time all by herself - she is fighting against Shahbaz faction, Imran Khan and PTI, the Bhuttos and the PPP led Sindh Govt and the army. Days of massive protests attracting hundreds of thousands to take the streets has now culminated into violence across Sindh. Yesterday in a bizarre turn of events ISI forcibly took Director General of the Sindh Police and had him sign on a warrant to arrest Capt Safdar - Maryam Nawaz's husband. This has led to widespread protests with chants of "Go Niazi, Go Bajwa" ! On the other side, it looks like an open civil war between Sindh Police against Rangers and the Paki Army. There are reports that 4 soldiers including an officer are now dead on the army side, and hundreds of police have been arrested by the Rangers ! As of few hours ago the entire sindh police have submitted leave application en masse !

Interesting days ahead. It is such a shame that unlike us where we are constantly at war with the 0.5 front inside the country, the Pakis don't have to worry about 5th column, so whatever is the outcome it will just be pudina on palak with no chance of introducing hari mirch.

yup..once again Bilawal Bhutto proves that he bowls more no balls than Imran Niazi . PPP seems to hand in gloves with the paki military. In his prime Altaf Hussain would have turned entire Karachi into a cauldron for the khaki clowns, but looks like Maryam is on her own in this battle. She really has to watch out for that sunroof lever, she is not only fighting the military and the PPP but she is fighting Shahbaz and his sons as well.

How does anyone take from what I noted: that this RAPE is just another aspect of the Paki enterprise that I am saying that he is better or more acceptable? This guy is *not* a good paki as opposed to the jihadis.

In real life, focus too much on the loud & violent jihadi aspect, and tend to cool down when the jaziya collecting RAPE shows up. We never had that confusion on BRF, and now is not the time to start.

Pakistan’s population cannot find lebensraum in Baluchistan, northern Ladakh territory or NWFP given the physical geography. This disregards the intense hostility they would face there.

It is much like China. Most of the population is concentrated in the southeast portion of that empire. For the same reasons.

At least three people have died and 15 others injured in an explosion in a multi-storey building near Maskan Chowrangi in Karachi's Gulshan-i-Iqbal area on Wednesday, according to officials from the Edhi Foundation.

Nature of the blast has not yet been ascertained. However, Mubina Town police SHO said that it "seems to be a cylinder blast" :D , adding that the bomb disposal squad is arriving to verify the cause of the explosion.

Army chief orders probe into ‘Karachi incident’
ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has ordered an inquiry into the ‘Karachi incident’ -- events that led to registration of a first information report (FIR) against PML-N’s Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar and his subsequent arrest during a visit to Sindh provincial capital.

“Taking notice of the Karachi incident, the COAS [chief of the army staff] has directed the Karachi Corps Commander to immediately inquire into the circumstances to determine the facts and report back as soon as possible,” said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

Ramanaji, I will try to spend some time on this dhaga to keep it up to date. Looks like TSP got well and truly dehyphenated as far as attention it was getting on BRF is concerned.

Looks like there was another blast earlier.
Five hurt in IED blast at Sheerin Jinnah bus terminal
KARACHI: Five people were wounded when a bomb exploded at the entrance of a bus terminal near Sheerin Jinnah Colony on Tuesday, said police officials and hospital sources.

Police investigators said it was an improvised explosive device (IED) that was planted at the gate of the terminal. According to them, a bicycle rigged with some explosive material [the IED] was parked at the site a little after 3:30pm. It blew up wounding five people.

Citing the initial investigation, SSP South Sheeraz Nazeer said that the bomb weighed one kilogram and contained ball bearings.

“One of the wounded persons is in critical condition,” he said, adding that it appeared to be a “homemade remote-controlled or timed device”

Pakistan 15th most powerful country in Asia with biggest gains in diplomatic influence: Report
(Karachi) Pakistan has been listed the 15th most powerful country in Asia on the Lowy Institute Asia Power Index with biggest gains in diplomatic influence, according to a recently released report on the subject by Lowy Institute Asia Power Index which aimed to qualify and track the wealth and influence of nations on the continent.

The report highlights that India lags far behind Pakistan in the said category. Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team took productive measures to improve diplomatic relations with other countries, enhancing trade and economic ties.

The report compares TSP to India but fails to mention that in the Lowy report India is 4th in the ranking, only behind US, China and Japan, based on weighted average across eight measures of power. :D

Hekmatyar in Pakistan
Former Afghan prime minister Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is in Pakistan on a three-day visit, and the Afghan peace process is at the top of his agenda. The visit comes just a month after Abdullah Abdullah, the head of Afghan High Peace Council, was in Pakistan on what appeared to be a mostly positive visit. Several analysts have noted that it appears Pakistan is hedging its bets by reaching out to the maximum number of Afghan political leaders to ensure warm relations with the neighbouring country once the Taliban and the government in Kabul agree to end hostilities.

Hekmatyar retains mostly warm relations with the Taliban. Given his improved ties with the government in Kabul, he could get involved in the talks as a negotiation facilitator. At the bare minimum, he may be able to convince the Taliban to take a step back.

'Civil War' like situation in Pakistan after reports of Army kidnapping Sindh police chief
Amid the ongoing political turmoil in Pakistan, Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday (October 20) ordered an enquiry into rumours that Sindh police chief was kidnapped by Pakistan army troops in order to put pressure on Karachi police to arrest Safdar Awan, the son-in-law of former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

According to The International Herald, 10 Karachi police officers were killed in clashes that broke out in the financial capital of Pakistan. It also claimed that a ‘civil war’ has broken out following the violent clashes between police and the Army.

It may be recalled that Safdar and Maryam, who is also PML-N Vice President, were in Karachi few days to participate in a rally of the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) when Safdar was arrested from their hotel room. It is learnt that Safdar was taken into custody by Karachi police for allegedly disrespecting the mausoleum of the country’s founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Safdar was later released on bail.

Maryam had said that Karachi police broke open the door of the hotel room where she was staying and arrested Captain Safdar. During the rally, Maryam Nawaz slammed PM Imran Khan and accused him of tarnishing the image of Pakistan army to hide the failures of his government.

Feeling ridiculed, demoralised, shocked: IGP Sindh, other senior cops defer leaves
KARACHI: In a seismic event in the country’s history, almost all PSP and non PSP officers of the Sindh Police applied for leave in protest against the humiliation meted out to the Sindh IGP Mushtaq Mehr, during the PML-N leader Safdar Awan’s arrest saga. However, following the late night intervention of COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, the issue got defused with an announcement of conducting an impartial inquiry. The officers for now have deferred their leave for 10 days in national interest, pending the outcome of the inquiry.

Earlier in the evening, the news of the Sindh IGP Mushtaq Mahar tendering leave application generated shockwaves across the entire country. The development came in the aftermath of the arrest of PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar and the Sindh chief minister being quoted by PML-N leader and spokesman for Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz's and former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair that the IGP Sindh was ‘kidnapped’ by Rangers who forced him to file an FIR for Safdar’s arrest. The development caused extreme bitterness among the police officers who retaliated by submitting leave of absence. Almost the entire top brass of the police, including three Additional IGs, 25 DIGs, 30 SSPs and dozens of SPs, DSPs and SHOs across Sindh, tendered leave applications, as a protest against the “resentment and heartache caused to all ranks of the force” by the unfortunate incident of October 18/19. In a tweet, the Sindh Police termed the reaction “as a spontaneous and heartfelt reaction and made on an individual basis rather than on collective basis.

I think it is more like DIG of Indian police. A three star rank.
