Why Philipji? Why are you exacerbating an already bad situation? As it is the Pakjabis are crazy for Cantt property but now 99.99% of Pak's population which is sexually deprived will go even more crazy over the Cantt with a 'u'

is it still in effect?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/3986615.stm
Pakistan's Supreme Court has upheld a ban on serving food at wedding receptions held in public places.
The court ruled the ban was not against Islamic teachings and should remain in force as it discourages extravagant displays of wealth.

The ban on serving food at wedding functions held in public places was imposed by the government in 1997.

In practice, it is largely ignored as technically it only permits the serving of tea or soft drinks.

Nationwide law

Headed by the Chief Justice, Nazim Hussain Shah, the three-judge court bench also ruled against a recent decision in by the government in the province of Punjab to allow the serving of one course of food during weddings.

The court ruled that a complete ban should remain enforced across the country.

In its detailed verdict, the court said it did not agree with the argument presented by the challenger that the law effectively prohibited the Islamic practice of holding a "walima" or wedding reception.

Through custom, the "walima" has come to include the serving of rich and elaborate food.

The court ruled that the law never prohibited the holding of the "walima".

It said people were at liberty to celebrate their marriage by having a "walima", but were barred from ostentatious displays of wealth.

The law does not apply to the serving of food in a house and consumed by members of the family celebrating the marriage or the house guests, the court said.

'Evil custom'

According to the Supreme Court, the government's decision was in line with the teachings of Islam, which lays great emphasis on a simple way of life.

The law also takes the pressure off lower income groups who feel obliged to spend large sums of money on wedding celebrations, the court said.

The Supreme Court also described the practice of giving dowry by the bride's family as an evil and exploitative custom, and said the state should do everything to stop it.

The court bench then went a step further to criticise some of the most popular customs linked to South Asian weddings, including the colourful rituals of mayun and mehndi (where the bride is decorated and prepared for the wedding) and baraat (a procession by the groom's friends and family to the bride's house), which are dominated by dance and music.

The bench said these customs and even the giving of large dowries were all of Hindu origin and have nothing to do with the Islamic concept of marriage.

Describing them as social evils, the court said the state should take steps to eradicate them.

would help them in the age of high inflation..
look at the hindu hatred ...
also i have seen in videos and heard women coming and dancing..apart from the booze

A country/judicial system that wants four eyewitnesses to the act of penetration in order to confirm rape dares accuse others! A country that imposes Jaziya on Hindus, Sikhs, destroys Hindu and Buddhist temples and converts Gurudwaras into mosques does not have the right to look down on others. With its population running after cake like in the video above, we have come a long, long way from them. Time to bid adieu to these low lifes and let them stew in their own crap.

With the differential of progress and income widening and Indian growth happening exponentially, expect the Paki parasites to start claiming that they never wanted partition and that Jinnah only asked for Pakistan after being disillusioned by Congress.

These low-lifes who do not have it in their DNA to work hard to progress individually or as a society will want an easy access to the richness and resources of India. They will start to activate the ganga jamani tehzeeb bull shitting jaichands in India to demand easing of the visa regime to allow people to people contacts, joint-ventures, cultural exchanges, artists visits, cricket etc. We have to be careful and weed out these anti-nationals who are ever willing to be the enabling agents in the destruction of India.

As a first step GOI should ban all 'journalists', 'academics', 'artists' and ex-diplomats in Track 2 and Track 3 confabulations with immediate effect. If you check it is the participant's of these dialogues who are easy pickings for the ISI and openly bat for pakistan in India and abroad.

I don’t think there will be any going back. Modi has succeeded in establishing a new benchmark in India’s disdain of all things Paki.

There is simply no equivalnce. A casual look at the ambition on display at Aero India 2021, the budget of nearly 1/2 trillion dollars will make any Indian bleating about bhaichara irrelevant.

It’s perhaps unfortunate but they need to be kept out of India for 1-2 generations. Their zain needs adjustment until such time as they can be admitted into polite society. Let Niazi continue to make an even bigger fool of the Pakistani people in front of Indians and the world. It is mildly amusing.

Matiari-Lahore 660 KV project: Chinese company threatens to move international court
https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/787803 ... onal-court

ISLAMABAD: In the latest development, Chinese company Pak Matiari- Lahore Transmission Company (PMLTC), which completed ±660kV Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Project with investment of $2.2 billion in two years time, has threatened to move the international arbitration court against the government-owned company National Transmission Dispatch Company (NTDC) for creating hurdles in the commissioning of the project.

The Chinese company has asked the board of directors of NTDC to hold a meeting and give it an opportunity for briefing on the causes of oscillation that happened on December 2, 2020 during the commissioning of the system. The project is the major flagship project of CPEC scheduled to achieve commercial operations date (COD) on 1st of March 2021. However, due to the deadlock, the commercial operation date of the project is in jeopardy.

In a letter written on February 06, 2021 to chairman of NTDC Board Naveed Ismail, Zhang Lei, Chief Executive Officer of Pak Matiari-Lahore Transmission Company, said that PMLTC completed the project in two years time and started the system commissioning on December 1, 2020. The letter also mentions that since the oscillation event occurred on December 2, 2020, the commissioning was suspended by NTDC for more than two months now and more than 300 engineers and technicians are sitting idle at the site. The letter has also been copied to the Federal Energy Minister, Secretary Power Division and Director General (China), China Division in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The letter also mentions that the parties are currently in a deadlock on finding out the way forward to resume the commissioning and progressing the project. In the letter CEO PMLTC has asked for time from the BOD chairman of NTDC for briefing on the reasons for oscillation to break the deadlock.

The official, while quoting the top management of PMLTC, said that in case the Government of Pakistan or NTDC do not listen to Chinese company's point of view, then it will have no option but to go for international arbitration. He said that the Chinese company has made direct investment of $2.2 billion in this project under the CPEC umbrella. The Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Project once onstream will evacuate 4,000MW of electricity from south to north of the country.

Muslim youth kills Ahmadi physician in Pakistan
https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-wor ... -pakistan/

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — A Pakistani Muslim youth shot and killed an Ahmadi homeopathic doctor at his clinic in the northwestern city of Peshawar on Thursday, the police and a spokesman for the minority group said.

The attacker on Dr. Abdul Qadir, 65, was immediately caught by residents and handed over to the local police. Saleem Uddin, a spokesman for Ahmadi community, released a statement condemning the attack and saying that members of their community were being constantly targeted because of their faith. Raiz Khan, a police official, said they were still questioning the man who shot and killed the physician. The motive behind the killing was still not known.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority blocked 27,986 websites between November 2019 and October 2020, bringing the total count since 2016 to 418,139 websites.
https://halalwatchworld.news/pta-blocks ... -pakistan/
The telecom regulator shared this data in its annual report Tuesday. The websites were targeted for their views on Islam, Pakistan and for sharing ***** content.

Pakistan Forced Down Apps Made By A Persecuted Religious Minority
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/me ... diyya-apps
The move is part of a crackdown led by the country’s telecommunications regulator targeting the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Adherents, called Ahmadis, number about 4 million in Pakistan. Though Ahmadis identify as Muslim, Pakistan’s government views them as heretics, and a 1984 ordinance forbids them from “posing” as Muslims, adopting Islamic religious practices, and referring to their houses of worship as mosques. Pakistan is the only country to declare that Ahmadis are not Muslim.

Ahmadis have faced persecution for decades, including an attack in 2010 that killed 93 people. But the pressure on multinational tech companies from Pakistan’s telecom regulator, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), signals a new willingness to target religious minorities beyond its borders. It is also one of the first examples of governments using anti-blasphemy rules to force international tech companies to censor content.

Pakistan-China Collusion: Why Some Baloch Are Building Elite Clubs
Here’s why some Baloch are living a charmed, fairytale existence, while others continue to suffer.

According to a survey done by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) and widely advertised in 2020 by the local press, the average household income in Balochistan has increased by Rs 6,346, Rs 36,387. The survey, called Household Integrated Economic Survey, compares ‘social and economic indicators’ across the provinces.

According to the same survey, Punjab and Balochistan were the two main provinces where income increased significantly — both in absolute terms and in percentages, while the slowest increase was registered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

The reason behind this stunning result, according to the PBS, can be found in the ‘magical’ China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other mega-development initiatives related to it.

Balochistan, despite the PBS survey, has the second highest incidence of multidimensional poverty in Pakistan (after the FATA region) — according to the UNDP, 71 percent of the population in Balochistan live below the poverty line.

The percentage increases to 85 percent if you consider only the rural population, and decreases to 36 percent in cities. Still a very high percentage, however.
So, this means, going back to poet Trilussa, somebody else must be ‘eating Baloch's chicken’. And that 'somebody', when you talk of CPEC, is the usual suspect: the Chinese — and the army and politicians related to them. Gwadar, the jewel in the crown of CPEC, is the perfect example of this.

Besides being fenced and turned into an ‘open air jail’, it is set to become a privileged tourist destination.

The club is owned and developed by the AM99 Group, and the same group is leading various mega-projects in Gwadar. The AM99 was founded and is being chaired by Brig Asif Mahmood Minhas: not only an Army man, but also the Advisor and Director, Joint Ventures in the Balochistan Development Authority. The government body that should control the activities in Balochistan and that claims that “not a single piece of land is owned by the government”.

Not directly, maybe. But the Gwadar Club Advisory Board includes (Retd) Major Gen Raza Muhammad, who was the Pakistani Ambassador to Mauritius; Kamran Lashari, DG of Walled City, Lahore; Mrs Rubina Asif, who is the wife of Brig Asif; and the former Law Minister Ahmer Bilal Sufi.

Two Christians charged under blasphemy law for distributing Christian literature
https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/h ... tails/7494

London: On 13 January Model Town police station, Lahore registered a blasphemy case under section 295 -A, B and C, Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which has a mandatory death penalty, against two young Christians, Haroon Ayub Masih and Salamat Mansha Masih.

The complainant Haroon Ahmad said in his statement that while he was in the Model Town Park with his friends Harris Khalid, Zakir Ali and Zulqarnain, two Christian boys approached them and introduced themselves as Haroon Ayub and Salamat Mansha and handed over a copy of a Christian booklet “Water of Life” and started preaching about Christianity. They further said that the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had strayed on the path of religion while Christ had never married and continued His preaching while their prophet had got married to extend his line.

Ahmad further told the police that the men further said the Bible is the true book while the Holy Quran is not a true book. He claimed Mansha Masih repeated this sentence, hurting their religious feelings. Ahmad said such words against Islam and their disrespect of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an act of terrorism and intentionally committing a blasphemy against Islam and the prophet (PBUH), therefore a case should not just be registered against Haroon and Mansha but the whole group involved in distributing this literature should be arrested and also this whole blasphemous literature should be confiscated. The police arrested Salamat Mansha while Haroon Ayub escaped, and the whole family has gone into hiding.

Islamabad agreed to rationalise expenditures, increase electricity prices and to slap additional taxes

The $6 billion programme was on hold since January last year after Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to increase electricity prices and slap additional taxes. However, the government has now agreed to take these measures between February to May this year. Some of the measures including increasing energy prices have already been taken.

The separate completion of these reviews would have led to disbursements of $2.2 billion, which the IMF has now reduced to just $500 million.

I have a contrary view here , while as per the 2017 census Pakistan population was 207,774,520.

Per Wiki "As of December 2020, the complete and final results of the census had still not been published.[8] On 22 December 2020, Pakistan government finally approved the 6th National Census-2017."

I think Pakistan population could be lower and Pakis dont want to admit it and dont want publish details cause

1. Pakis are getting married early but Mortality at the time of Delivery is probably 10 -15 times higher than in India
2. Pakis live span is lesser
3. 55% of Pakistan's population does not have access to Toilets
4. Many Pakistani men are suffering from impotency.

I am sad that Bakistan is promising to accept the measures suggested by the IMF, not because it means they will get IMF money but because those measures might help them fix some of their chronic issues. Only saving grace is if the paki govt. actually enacts these deeply unpopular measures like increasing taxes and electricity/fuel prices, it will bring Dimran closer to being strung up on a lamp post.

I don't think all those 4 points combined are enough to overcome the sheer high birth rate in countries like Pak , Islam demands a high fertility rate for their populace to always keep expanding and having enough "martyrs" for the cause .Its no co-incidence that all countries with super high fertility rates are islamic

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_s ... ility_rate

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP ... start=1997

They had an insane rate of 5 births/woman in 90's-00s and while that has dropped a little the damage has already been done , Its an exploding population , the world bank data shows the population rising at a pretty steady rate for the past decade or so and will continue to do so

1. Pakis are getting married early but Mortality at the time of Delivery is probably 10 -15 times higher than in India
2. Pakis live span is lesser
3. 55% of Pakistan's population does not have access to Toilets
4. Many Pakistani men are suffering from impotency.

Apart from point 4 all of those are applicable to rats as well, and it doesn't stop them from breeding like, well, vermin.

Pakistan has a runaway population growth now. And the lower their lifespan, the more population growth it will have.

Yes, it frees up the young generation from taking care of the previous generation. And what will the young generation do? Go and procreate more.

Further with modern preventative medicines and vaccinations that prevent large scale outbreaks of small pox (eradicated now), measles, rubella, dysentry the population still explodes. Think of it as a virus with transmitivity of 5! Population growth will be at geometric progression.

All the IMF band aids etc will achieve is to shore up the crust while the core rots away.

Question is how does one manage such a black hole? Of course, letting Cheencans drive into it will be a good option. But risk is that it will create an even bigger black hole on India's east!!

I have seen a lot of Indians, including retired men from the armed forces, stress on supporting the people making efforts for the liberation of Balochistan like we supported the Mukti Bahini. What all will that achieve?

Possible stuff I can think of: We can
1. use it as a quid pro quo to stop them from funding separatists in Kashmir, or
2. as a strategic move to destabilize and weaken Pakistan from the inside, or
3. both of the above,
or something else?

(sorry, I'm a novice when it comes to such stuff, so pls forgive me if this is an extremely noobish question)

Look at the Map -

1) It will remove a lot of Strategic depth for the Pakis
2) Gives us and Balochis and Afghans a good means to trade including CAR- which are being looted by the Pakjabis
3)Gives an another front to quickly cut off the Pakis and the Paki Navy and economy will be dependent on Karachi Port.
4) Baluchistan vast mineral wealth can benefit its population and us- Pakis will also struggle to meet their energy requirements.

Only problem is do we have the military power and will world powers allow it. It is the logical thing to do but the world's elite think in illogical ways.

Did we miss this regarding Dimran Khan Niazi?
https://thepakistandaily.com/imran-khan ... d-of-pims/
Imran Khan’s hair transplant surgeon made head of PIMS
Hamza Azhar Salam Hamza Azhar Salam, January 5, 2021

ISLAMABAD: Dr Humayun Mohmand, who gained fame after doing the hair transplant of Imran Khan has been made the chairman of the Pakistan Institue of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
A staunch Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) worker, Dr Humayun became the subject of controversy when Senator Mustafa Khokhar told the nation how Dr Humayun’s only claim to fame was that he had done a hair transplant on Imran Khan.
This admission led to a quarrel between Information Minister, Shibli Faraz and Mustafa Kamal on Hamid Mir’s hit show, Capital Talk.

Then there is more in common with Nawaz Sharif than meets the eye.

I see.

What do you mean by “CAR” which is being looted by Pakistani Punjabis?

Only problem is do we have the military power and will world powers allow it. It is the logical thing to do but the world's elite think in illogical ways.

I guess, considering the mineral wealth in Balochistan and the evident Chinese interest in it, it will be extremely difficult until we are have parity with China militarily.

Dimran's address to Sri Lankan parliament cancelled.

Is this sudden 'enlightenment' in the 'Bodhisattva Land' or a 'Bangalore Torpedo' being rammed up Gotabaya's Musharraf

Pakis had assured of voting for Sri Lanka in the human rights violations and war crimes committed by the Sri Lankan Army against the Tamils in the LTTE operations. This enquiry is being conducted by the UN. All the members of the Human rights body at UN have a vote and voting is scheduled for later this month. The Porkis are now threatening to vote against Sri Lanka :rotfl:

Farmers threaten tractor march
Haraam link: https://www.dawn.com/news/1608166/farme ... ctor-march

Taking a cue from the Indian farmers’ protest, the local farming community has threatened a tractor march on Islamabad on March 31 if the government continues to ignore their plight.
The Pakistan Kissan Ittehad, a representative body of smallholder farmers, threatened on Thursday that they would give a call for a tractor march on the federal capital on March 31 if their five demands are not accepted by then.
He demanded the government fix cotton support price before the sowing season of the crop, announce subsidy on DAP and urea fertilisers, make operational the closed urea manufacturing factories or import the fertilizer for its timely supply to the growers, fix wheat support price at Rs2,000 per 40kg to make it uniform across the country, and cut farm tubewell power rates to Rs5.35 per unit.

Obviously its a Raa conspiracy. Calling Rihanna, Greta, Khalifa, Disha and Meenaji.
