Services chiefs attend rare briefing at ISI headquarters

It is rare for all services chiefs to visit the ISI headquarters together for a briefing on national security. The services chiefs normally meet at the forum of the joint chiefs of staff committee, the principal tri-services coordination forum. The joint chiefs’ forum has not met since July 2018.

The ISI has, meanwhile, been giving briefings to the political and military leadership. Prime Minister Imran Khan has twice been to the ISI headquarters — on April 23 and June 3 — for intelligence briefings on the security threats.

Among other concerns, Pakistani officials worry that any conflict with India could undo the progress made towards peace in Afghanistan after protracted efforts.

Afghan Taliban and other factions are set to initiate their internal dialogue – the intra-Afghan talks – in Doha in a little over a week. The Afghan government and Taliban are likely to complete prisoners swap by this weekend, which would fulfil a major condition for the talks.

From Dawn:
BNP-M chief announces withdrawal from PTI coalition govt

Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) President Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Wednesday announced his party's withdrawal from its alliance with the PTI-led federal government over its failure to implement accords with the party.

"If our demands were illegal and unconstitutional then we are ready to face even death. But then all those who have put their signatures on these accords should also face the same," he said.

Mengal presented two separate lists of missing persons before the Assembly. One of the lists contained the names of 18 people who have been recovered so far while the other contained the names of nearly 500 people who had gone missing after signing the agreements with the PTI, he said.

He said the decision to come out of the ruling coalition was made after many meetings of the party's central executive committee. "The law and order situation is worsening in Balochistan, death squads have been reactivated," he claimed.

He added that the people of the province "were not slaves" and questioned why a Balochistan peace conference could not be convened similar to the conference held for the Afghanistan peace process.

"[The government] is worried about Kashmir more than Balochistan. [The government] is constituting committees on Kashmir which is not with it, but is not worried about losing what it already has. This House can discuss issues of wheat, sugar and tomatoes, but not the blood of the Baloch people.

"The allocations which have been made in the budget for projects in Balochistan shows [the government's] seriousness. The prime minister has no time to visit the camps of missing persons. He has no time to meet the fishermen facing problems," he thundered.

"We have simply demanded that the missing persons be recovered and the National Action Plan against terrorism be implemented in letter and spirit. Through the other agreement, we have demanded projects for Balochistan and Gwadar."

Mengal said that agreements made with the people of the province were "openly violated in the past too". He also criticised the government for cutting shares of the provinces in the National Finance Commission (NFC).

He added that the government, despite "repeated warnings" did not take steps to stop locust attacks. "[The government] has aircraft for chief minister and it can buy F-16s, but there is no aircraft for aerial spray."

He held the federal and Balochistan governments responsible for the spread of Covid-19 in the country by allowing pilgrims from Iran to enter Taftan without making any arrangements. "A first information report (FIR) should be registered against whoever is responsible for the deaths in the country due to coronavirus," he said.

"The Parliament has been turned into a Hyde Park corner where the members are free to vent their frustration through speeches but no one is there to listen to them seriously," he alleged.

Pointing towards the empty treasury benches, he said that no one was there to take notes. "These benches were full on the budget presentation day and they will again be full when it will be voted upon."

Numbers in NA
Before the BNP-M's withdrawal, the PTI enjoyed majority in the National Assembly with 156 seats while along with all its allies it had a total of 186 seats in the lower house of parliament. The MQM has seven, PML-Q has five, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) five, BNP-M has four, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has three and Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) and Awami Muslim League have one seat each besides four independent lawmakers.

On the other hand the opposition has 156 seats, as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has 84 seats, Pakistan Peoples Party 55, Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal Pakistan 16 and Awami National Party has one seat.

sania mirza's husband shoaib malik is currently marooned in pukiland and he demands that India pakistan play cricket now.

is this a devious attempt by him to get a passage back to India

India needs a paki test series like it needs a hole in the head.

besides, these jehadis stand to make tens of millions off the series, not to mention the thousands of paki "fans" clamoring for visas to get into India to "watch" the game and each of them returning with suitcases full of PPE, HCQ and ventilators "gifted" by ummah funded, paki pasand, India based FFNGOs

World cricket badly needs India-Pakistan rivalry to resume: Shoaib Malik
From Dawn:
Three Pakistan cricketers test positive for coronavirus ahead of England tour
Three members of the Pakistan men's national cricket team — Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan — have tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of the team's upcoming tour of England, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement on Monday.

The players had shown no symptoms of Covid-19 until they were tested in Rawalpindi on Sunday

According to the PCB, Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari, who were also screened in Rawalpindi, tested negative for the virus and will travel to Lahore on June 24.

Other players and team officials, excluding Cliffe Deacon, Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis, also underwent tests at their respective centres in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar on Monday. Their results are expected at some point on Tuesday, the PCB said.

The team is most likely to leave for England on June 28 on a chartered flight to be arranged by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the hosts of the series, comprising three Tests and as many T20Is, to be held in August and September.

After reaching England, the squad is likely to stay in Birmingham for a 14-day quarantine period before starting the camp training.
Why exclude Cliffe Deacon, Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis?

India downgrades diplomatic ties with Pak, tells Islamabad to reduce staff by half
India on Tuesday asked Pakistan to reduce its staff strength in the country by half, a decision that comes weeks after the police expelled two staffers at the high commission in Delhi on charges of spying.

Finally! What needed to be done decades ago! I salute the govt. I know how they've treated the Indian diplomats over decades.A very close relative of mine when on diplomatic assignment in Pak was after a few failed attempts to kidnap him was at a dpl.function drugged, brutally beaten up and thrown off a second floor terrace! Unfortunately for these murderous pigs ,he miraculously survived despite serious head injuries, broken bones all over and when found in the bushes a few hours later was thought that he would not survive the night. Survive he did, thought never to walk again and remain a vegetable for the rest of his life, but he gradually recovered thanks to his incredible will power and secretly doing physio exercises at night in the hospital, lest the Pakis make another attempt on him again, he shocked the Pakis by walking out 6 months later.
Needless to say he layer got his revenge many, many times over but that's another story.

Now that these stinking intestinal parasites, porcine fecal matter, have been thrown out, what I've been saying for 2 decades+, and the GOI has removed the velvet glove from India's iron fist to BOTH Pak and China, in an action that speaks louder than words!
3 hearty cheers for the GOI and especially the MEA for finally displaying its cojones. Now for chasing out the chicken-shit Chinks!

Downgrading of ties should have been done a long time ago, or at least a year after Modi Sarkar (2015), but what was the immediately provocation if any?

From Dawn:
Seven more Pakistan players due to tour England in August have tested positive for the coronavirus, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Tuesday, taking the total to 10 since the first results were announced this week.

Despite the new infections, the PCB said the England tour is "on track" and the team will depart for the series as per schedule.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Wahab Riaz, Imran Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain and Kashif Bhatti were all diagnosed with the virus.

It comes after three teammates — Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali — tested positive on Monday. A player support personnel, masseur Malang Ali, was also confirmed to have the virus.

Shoaib Malik, Cliffe Deacon and Waqar Younis have not been tested to date

Yes, so if these international cricketers who live in mansions have tested positive you can imagine the scale of infection among mango abduls. Its laughable when Pakis claim they've done over 1.2 million tests with just 185k total cases and 3600 deaths.

https://swarajyamag.com/insta/dubai-pak ... e-daughter
An Indian couple from Gujarat was found murdered and their teenage daughter brutally injured by a Pakistani national in Dubai last week during a break-in and robbery bid.

The couple -- Hiren Adhiya and Vidhi Adhiya, both in their 40s were killed on 18 June, daijiworld reported.

The Adhiyas were residing at a villa in Arabian Ranches. Their two children, aged 13 and 18, were at home when the incident took place. The elder daughter was stabbed when she came face to face with the accused, but escaped with minor injuries.

Hiren was a senior director at a Sharjah oil and gas contractor. He along with his family had moved to Dubai around three years ago. They have relatives in India's Gujarat state.

Pakistan to remain on FATF grey list.
Pakistan is likely to remain on the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for failing to comply with the global terrorist financing watchdog’s deadline to prosecute and penalise terrorist financing in the country.

Source said the decision, taken at the third and final plenary meeting on Wednesday under the Chinese Presidency of Xiangmin Liu, will be announced soon.

At the FATF meeting chaired by China in Paris in February this year, Islamabad had been told that “all deadlines” had expired and if they didn’t prosecute and penalise terrorist financing by June 2020, the watchdog would take action with financial consequences.

At the Paris plenary, the FATF had expressed serious concerns over Pakistan’s failure to complete its 27-point action plan in line with the agreed timelines – which ended in September 2019.
FATF presidency is moving from China to Germany from July for the next one year.

Almost 1 in 3 pilots in Pakistan have fake licenses, aviation minister says
More than 30% of civilian pilots in Pakistan have fake licenses and are not qualified to fly, the country's aviation minister revealed Wednesday.

Addressing Pakistan's National Assembly, Ghulam Sarwar Khan said 262 pilots in the country "did not take the exam themselves" and had paid someone else to sit it on their behalf. "They don't have flying experience," he said.
"PIA acknowledges that fake licenses is not just a PIA issue but spread across the entire Pakistani airline industry," spokesperson Abdullah Khan said, adding that some of the fake pilots also fly for foreign carriers.

‘Shaheed kar diya’: Imran Khan refers to terrorist Osama Bin Laden as martyr while speaking in Pakistan parliament
https://www.opindia.com/2020/06/shaheed ... arliament/
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has referred the 9/11 mastermind and the global terrorist Osama Bin Laden as a martyr. While addressing the Pakistan assembly, Khan said that we helped America in the war on terror and later we were embarrassed when they came to Abottabad and killed Osama-bin-laden and martyred him.

Imran Khan accused America for killing Osama bin Laden within Pakistan without informing the Islamabad.

He further said, “…Ek hua ji Osama Bin Laden ko Americans ne Abbottabad main maar diya…shaheed kar diya. Uske baad kya hua? Sari duniya ne hume gaaliyan di…bura bhala humein kaha. Yaani hamara ally humare mulq mein aake maar raha hai kisi ko aur humein hi nahi bata raha. 70,000 Pakistani mar chuke hain unki jang ke liye. Yani itni zyada jillat.” (The Americans came and killed Osama bin Laden in Abottabad and martyred him, what happened after that we had to face a major embarrassment. Our own ally sent their forces to kill Osama bin Laden in Pakistan without informing Islamabad. 70000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in America’s war against terror. This much of insult.)

Pak high commission officials were recruiting Kashmiri youth for terror: Official
Reports from intelligence agencies show that 399 young men from Jammu and Kashmir had been issued visas by the Pakistan high commission since January 2017, and the current whereabouts of 218 of them are unknown
Jun 25, 2020

Sustained efforts by officials of the Pakistan high commission in New Delhi to allegedly recruit young men from Kashmir for terrorist training was one of the factors behind India’s decision to halve the strength of the mission, people familiar with developments said on Thursday.
Reports from intelligence agencies show that 399 young men from Jammu and Kashmir had been issued visas by the Pakistan high commission since January 2017, and the current whereabouts of 218 of them are unknown, the people said on condition of anonymity.
India asked Pakistan on June 23 to reduce the strength of its mission in New Delhi by 50% in a week, saying the actions of Pakistani officials were part of a “larger policy of supporting cross-border violence and terrorism”.

Its high time that all professional degrees from Pakistan are put under rigorous scrutiny. A made up country ruled by a small afsar class where everything is available with right connections and money.

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/ys9gMV10U5k

For those, whose urdu is rusty -- here's a *very* rough translation (from 44 minutes on):
The amount of humiliation Pakistan has had to endure by becoming a partner of the US in the US war on terror is unprecedented. It didn't matter what Pakistan did, we were blamed and humiliated for US failures in Afghanistan.

There are two events that were shameful for Pakistan, that we are ashamed of. The first is that the US came into Pakistan and killed Osama Bin Laden in Abottabad ... martyred him. What happened after that? The entire world abused us .. called us evil. Our own ally intruded into Pakistan and killed someone and didn't inform us despite the fact that we have lost 70,000 Pakistanis in their war on terror.

The second thing to be ashamed of, the drone attacks in Pakistan

If this is true!! this is hilarious!!
so much for the TFTA strength :(( :((
I think BCCI mean Shashank Manohar who is Pawarful Nominee and hence anti BJP/Dada
Shashank Manohar is much worse. A first class ass h**e. He went out of his way to end the Big 3 concept of India, Australia and England in World Cricket. The Big 3 idea would have rightfully paced India in a Tier above the rest of the playing countries as it contributes 70% of the money going into world cricket. Instead the new structure that he brought in reduced India's share in ICC money considerably. Any calculation or move that would reduce India's share in ICC finances he goes out of his way to promote that in the name of helping Associate member countries. He is favorite of Paki TV anchors. Even now while giving up the presidency he wants Pakistani Ehsan Mani to replace him!!!

Thankfully he will be out in couple of months and then Dada will treat him like he deserves. A washed-out has been!!!

Forget the Civilian Pilots remember the case of Shaheed Lateef the (Fizzle Ya Air Vice Marshal, no less) who on his landing the warjet was discovered as having shat in his pants (diapers). This was because he faced a tough situation while flying the jet

It is so hilarious to see him boasting on TV shows of how he was incharge of the JF17 program and how Aham- duh-li-ha-ha he made sure Pakistan developed the JF17 jet and how it is much superior to the SU30 MKI and to the upgraded versions of MIG29 and Mirage 2000. :rotfl:

ICAO needs to decertify all TSP based airlines and pilots. Prohibit them from flying outside of TSP as this is a serious safety issue.
