What’s happening is sad’: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on amended citizenship law

“I would love to see a Bangladeshi immigrant who comes to India and creates the next unicorn in India or becomes the next CEO of Infosys,” he said.

He is in a position where he cannot say anything else. The system has him trapped! Remember that he is an American and a CEO of a company and area which has high % of Woke crowd. Just because he is a PIO does not mean he is an Indian.

Another uncle Tom...a man who himself arrived in the US on a visa wants India to abolish visas and travel documents. Irony committed suicide in uncle Tom's Seattle cabin.

^^I said so many years ago. One has to question the intelligence of these morons. On a lighter note, "Nadella" sounds like a female version of the Mexican word "Nada" (zero/ghanta).

^^Completely banal statement. Sounds like something written by a 3rd grader for a "country of the week: India" assignment in elementary school.

This guy has apparently never heard of a Parsi Tata or Godrej, or the hordes of Hindoo/Sikh Punjabis and Hindoo Sindhis fleeing persecution in RoP lands and now well-to-do professionals, businessmen etc etc in India. He is still "hoping" that immigrants can make good in India.

He joins the list:

Satya Nadella, Raghuram Rajan, Abhijit Banerjee, Pramila Jaypal (fought for Somalis refugees but can't stand it when they are non muslims of Indian origin)

Hope Sundar Pichai keeps quiet or recognizes the plight of the CAA people. Their stories need to be heard. There should be a funded campaign to help them in states that have opposed CAA.

So far (as of today's news), we know that Pichai takes his morning shyte only after 7 am and thereafter eats an omelette:

Just like Bollywood wants free advertisement by making use of these "opportunities"

Satya and other CEOs ***have to*** support immigration because they rely on it in the US and use moral arguments for the same. Otherwise they will be called hypocrites.

We have to be able to counter when people say things for their profit and not the benefit of the country and its people

Lets see.

The bigger concern Bhai-wood has that it may impact 1983 world cup biopic too which has another 'scared' malasi directing it.

and No, if she is smart enough to make millions and be a super successful artist, she should be smart enough to know where to stand. Sometimes not taking a stand in itself is a stand.

Nadella is talking about legal immigrants and not the illegal ones.

He is right in what he says.

He talks about his own immigrant status which was entirely legal and he prospered in the US.

Nothing stops a Bangladeshi from legally migrating to India & obtaining citizenship under Citizenship Act, 1955. He/she can then also become next CEO of Infosys.

They would probably do a better job than the stream of incompetents walking the ramp at the infosys CEO's office

This law is for those minorities fleeing persecution. Similar to U.S.'s Lautenberg Amendment

Why do people confuse Legal immigration with Illegals. Even today any Legal Immigrant can setup a startup and be a Unicorn in India. I know of atleast 3 startups whose founders carry a Non-Indian passport but have setup shop in India.

No country allows illegals to stay illegal and undocumented.

This is a political stunt ... The SC is going to decide on constitutionality of CAA even before this petition was filed. So what is the new question being posed here?

Now that CON has declared itself fully against CAA the left, which shares eyes the same voter base, wants to go one up on CON. What better way than go to the SC with a duplicate case! No skin off its back. No matter how the SC decided CPI(M)K would have shown its intent to its target voters. Last time it lost massively to CON precisely because minorities shifted en-mass.

'Sabari Mala' thing will not be impacted by this gimmick from GoKL. The Sabari Mala issue and how it gets addressed will how ever will have an impact on other religions and religious practises. Those issues are now any way being heard by a 9 member bench. I think the advocates have got time of around three weeks to agree on term of references and decide on the line of arguments.

pankajs wrote:This is a political stunt ... The SC is going to decide on constitutionality of CAA even before this petition was filed. So what is the new question being posed here?

Exactly. GoKL I guess have got the best 'dumbest' legal advisors which it can afford to have . The first gimmick was GoKL 'unanimously passing' a resolution against CAA. This was a meaningless excercise as such resolutions have no legal validity. They tried to play another trick by saying the Kerala Guv will have to accept this resolution. That was not a requirement at all. Governors have no say or any need to approve any resolutions passed in the assembly. GoKL leveraged the biased main stream media in Kerala to show case all this as 'victories' over the 'Yeevil Naarthie Sanghi Fascist Government', but social media exposed that. So the new gimmick is this filing of petition in Supreme Court. This is when there are lots of petitions already in place demanding the scuttling of CAA. You are right; Commies and Congress folks have to work with the same minority vote banks. So each bending over backwards to please them.

Did honorable SC explain why access to Internet is a fundamental right ?
Does that also mean that corporate offices that deny access to Internet for over 9.5 hours everyday are liable for contempt of court ?

If internet is fundamental right, Then can I demand internet in every nook and corner of India at all times.
Next Bandwidth, speed and data pack will become fundamental right.
Uff so many questions..

Underprivileged Hindus are not taking part in anti-CAA protest, feels CPM. Participation limited to Muslims and only a section of the upper middle class Hindus. Hindus as a whole not participating. This is reported by anti Hindu ABP:

He he he he .... only peacefools and "upper class Hindu" sickulars protesting CAA. AND this from the CPM. There cannot be a more secular and reliable source on this issue especially when it admits a faliure. Does that answer the question posed by one member on the salience of the protests? or is he still shivering in his dhoti?

Does that clarify why there is no opposition unity on CAA except between CON and Left?

Someone a while back was asking why light a fire when only "about" 35k people will benefit from CAA?
1. Even if it saves 1 life, fight for Dharma is Dharma.
2. Getting the persecution of Hindus and other minorities in our Muslim majority neighbors on the record and in a law is important by itself.
3. Busting the one-sided manufactured victim-hood narrative.
4. This is from just UP ...

Divya Kumar Soti @DivyaSoti

40,000 non-muslim refugees have been detected by Uttar Pradesh government in just 19 districts. Pilibhit alone has more than 35000 non-muslim refugees from Bangladesh. CAA is all set to expose one of world's biggest continuing human rights violation which went on for 70 years.
Imagine the final figures when the illegals get counted in Assam and WB!

jaisa baap waisa beta i guess. This is regarding Rahul Kanwal and his dad.

https://twitter.com/Agent0fChaos_/status/1217073612080865281

Dear
@rahulkanwal
, is it true that your father Brigadier Gurmeet Kanwal wrote a paper from US military academy co-authored by a Pakistani Brigadier on why Siachen should be given to Pakistan or a Fake news? Kindly fact check!
If true? Then is it Anti-national or not?

the link to the said article - https://thediplomat.com/2016/02/does-india-really-need-to-defend-the-siachen-glacier/

from the article -
However, not everyone is convinced of the strategic and tactical value of the Siachen. Brigadier (retired) Gurmeet Kanwal has argued that in the event of Pakistan and China launching a joint offensive to occupy the Ladakh region of Kashmir, they are unlikely to approach it via Siachen’s “treacherous mountain terrain” as “better options are available” for them to access Ladakh. India’s control of Siachen then does not deny Pakistan and China approaches to Ladakh.

Yes. Just drive down the Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1) in either direction from SFO. Every little coastal town and hamlet is full of Mexicans. I don't know how many are illegals but probably a very large fraction. On the roadside you will often see signs like "No human is illegal".

Love the way Meenakshi Lekhi hit back at MS chief

How literate need to be educated ! Perfect example. Precise reason for CAA is to grant opportunities to persecuted minorities from Bangladesh, Pakistan & Afghanistan.
How about granting these opportunities to Syrian Muslims instead of Yezidis in USA ?

I don't know about this Nedella dude a whole lot, but form what little I have seen, he seems a hard core techie (nothing wrong with that) with possibly white honchos like Gates pulling the the strings from behind. Nadella has to say all this BS to sound cool. It only shows the direction of the wind from the halls of power. I mean as LekhiJi pointed out, why not Syrian Muslims. Or what about Lautenberg amendment. I challenged Kugelboy also along the same lines and he ran.

I would challenge on Indian American Hindu honcho in positions of power like this Nadella dude to come out and say the truth: What ModiJi is doing to help Hindus/Sikhs/Jains etc butchered by TSP & Co, is as statesmanlike if not more than what Oskar Schindler did to hep persecuted Jews in Nazi Germany.

he mentioned that every country has a right to define its immigration policies. Looks like buzzfeed tried to spin it as something else.

Half hearted, assinine and heavily retracted. He is / was a Marxist and left liberal as they come. Don't be fooled. They know a backlash is coming from the India Government and thus a hard try to salvage the situation
