Arvind Kejriwal @ArvindKejriwal

Translated from Hindi by

Visited the ancient Hanuman temple of CP and took blessings of Lord Hanuman. Prayed for the progress of the country and Delhi. God said - "You are doing good work. Keep serving people like this. Leave the fruit on me. Everything will be good."

Kujli is trying to work his Hindu base now that his Tauheen bagh links have been exposed. Plus, he is trying to pump up his people and voters for tomorrow.

Difficult to say if he is worried or just trying cover all his bases like a good soldier.

I was in Delhi for last 2-3 weeks. Talked to a lot of people across different shades. AAP is coming back. BJP may be gaining some vote share, due to the fiery push by Amit shah. But it doesnt change the ground situation. The lure of freebies to non tax paying population is too much to give up and that includes many small businessmen too.

Digressing a bit from 'Dilli ki Sardi' ! sorry
Looks like 'Judicial activism' or Not! Hiz Honors have started laying down ground rules for 'Generation X-I dont know what' to think about.
No more freebies/hopefully unlocking the govermand controls on temples(sacking the Muzrai dept totally , I wish)/Sending few corrupt Pawarful peoples(maybe!!)/kicking the liberandu, leftist, BIF SC lawyer-cabal in the Cojones/Ram temple/Maybe rethink on Sabarimala(who knows)
Man : 'Ho kya raha hai iss desh main' all for good I suppose.

Possible, but a resounding BJP defeat will be very bad for governance in the rest of ModiJi's terms. BIF will surely be energized, as ModiJi himself said the Shaheen Bagh BIF experiment will be given a lease of life. Also, the string of state losses will result in loss of morale for BJP cadre. After all the BIF shenanigans, if Delh-ites don't give a befitting reply, they deserve BIF.

^No it won't be. Jharkhand happened, so will other places. You leftists will anyway continue vilaap and gaali galoch even if BJP wins 100% seats in all the States and also 542 seats in parliament.

To citizens it doesn't matter.

EVM doubt and Hanuman jee bhakti means kejri is on shaky ground.

Nothing will happen if BJP loses. They would have lost at the state level, national level is different. Indians make selections based on different criteria.

A bjp loss, even resounding, wont be the end of world. BJP pressed the accelerator quite late. It is hampered by lack of a credible face that can push things on ground. AAP has AK, MS, and Raghav Chadha. their MLAs have been working well. Some work by MCD is also getting tagged as AAP work. Their work in hospitals has drawn lot of attention. I would give it to AAP for that too. Even i mailed the AAP mla twice and they did respond in a week's time much to my surprise. This is over and above the freebies which most people find it hard to resist. BJP lost many opportunities to defang aap. They have the mass narrative on thier side. Only Shaheen bagh type narrative might work to their advantage. There is nothing else apart from Modi and hindu nationalism to make people vote for BJP. Rahul gandhi has not been much of help in this election either.
The only good thing i would take it as a consolation prize is that BIF will be showing their hands. and BJP will be forced to do a deeper introspection to develop local leadership. Kumar vishwas could have been a good catch.

Delhi was ruled by Khujliwal for the entirety of Modi's first term. Didn't make any difference.

As for resounding defeats, there is nothing more resounding than what happened in 2015. Even if BJP gets 20 seats this time it would be a 600% improvement over last time.

In any case BJP's main problem is to get back power in the big central states they have lost - MP, RJ, MH, CG, JK. Delhi is a sideshow compared to them.

Not just Manish Sisodia’s OSD, more officers in Delhi GST dept under CBI scanner

Manish Sisodia’s OSD, Gopal Krishna Madhav was arrested Thursday night for allegedly accepting bribes to waive GST duty of transporters.

ANANYA BHARDWAJ

New Delhi: The arrest of Gopal Krishna Madhav, the officer on special duty (OSD) with Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, is just the tip of the iceberg, believes the CBI as it probes a Good and Services Tax (GST) racket.

Madhav, a Goods and Services Tax Officer in the Trade and Taxes Department of the Delhi government, was arrested late Thursday for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.

According to a source in the CBI, Madhav was allegedly taking money from transporters to “waive off their GST”.

“He charged money for waiving off the Goods and Services Tax from transporters who approached him,” the source said. “The dealings were done sometimes through net banking and sometimes in cash.”

The officer has been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Madhav has been posted in Sisodia’s office since 2015 but the source said the agency has not found Sisodia’s involvement in the case so far.

According to the source, the CBI was led to Madhav by middleman Dheeraj Gupta, who allegedly acted as a conduit for the Delhi government official.

Dheeraj Gupta was arrested by the CBI on 5 February and is in judicial custody.

Shaheen Bagh mob robbed, assaulted and tried to convert Gunja Kapoor into Islam for wearing a burkha, wanted to use as hostage to negotiate with the BJP

Shaheen Bagh mob robbed, assaulted and tried to convert Gunja Kapoor into Islam for wearing a burkha, wanted to use as hostage to negotiate with the BJP

Abhijit Iyer Mitra further said that a mob began to assemble at the site and forced Gunja Kapoor to chant Islamic Kalima (la illah illallah) and demanded her to become "one of them" so that they could 'accept' her.

OPINDIA STAFF
FEBRUARY 7, 2020

Gunja Kapoor was allegedly also pressurised to chant the Kaleema and convert by the mob at Shaheen Bagh
Gunja Kapoor was assaulted, mugged, and held hostage by the mob at Shaheen Bagh, said Abhijit Iyer Mitra

Two days after Political analyst Gunja Kapoor was heckled by Shaheen Bagh ‘protestors’, shocking revelations have been made, exposing the real intentions of the mob behind the heckling of Gunja Kapoor.

Defence analyst Abhijit Iyer Mitra, who spoke to Gunja Kapoor after the incident took to Twitter to narrate the sequence of events that unfurled at Shaheen Bagh on Wednesday on behalf of the victim.

On Wednesday, Political analyst Gunja Kapoor was heckled by women at Shaheen Bagh for allegedly ‘taking videos’. She was allegedly wearing a ‘burqa’ and the objection was raised over her trying to cover the protests while wearing one.

Later, the mob had got angry at Gunja for wearing a burqa while attending the protest. They had objected against Gunja wearing a burqa and trying to shoot videos in Shaheen Bagh.

Narrating the incident, Abhijit Iyer Mitra said that the reality at Shaheen Bagh incident on Thursday was much scarier than what was shown on TV. According to Mitra, political analyst Gunja was not only mugged but also physically assaulted by the mob that was present at the Shaheen Bagh protest site. A woman named Upasana Sharma was allegedly behind the attack on Gunja Kapoor.

1n Just had a long chat with #GunjaKapoor @gunjakapoor. The reality is much scarier than what you saw on TV (yes she was mugged & physically assaulted). I’m telling you the sequence of events narrated by her. This woman in yellow “Upasana Sharma” is central to it pic.twitter.com/FR78KvkzNT

— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) February 6, 2020

Mitra stated that Gunja Kapoor who was at the Shaheen Bagh was just interviewing some of the women protestors at Shaheen Bagh and as per Kapoor’s revelation, no one in the mob seemed to know the details of CAA, NRC or NPR. Suddenly one of the protestors, allegedly named Upasana who claimed to be an ‘organiser’ started interrogating Gunja.

“Upasana knew exactly what to ask and since Gunja had not rehearsed her story got caught easily. Upasana and this creature below DRAGGED HER BY HER HAIR(!!!) to the 1st aid camp,” Abhijit Iyer Mitra narrated the horror perpetrated against Gunja Kapoor.

3n “upasana” knew exactly what to ask & since Gunja hadn’t rehearsed her story got caught easily. Upasana & this creature below DRAGGED HER BY HER HAIR(!!!) to the 1st aid camp. “Upasana” seized her phone plus aadhar card & cash from her wallet. Now the other women… pic.twitter.com/WEYPtKTZMv

— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) February 6, 2020

The most shocking revelation was that the Upasana had reportedly seized Gunja Kapoor’s phone, Aadhar card and also snatched away cash from Kapoor’s wallet. Soon, another lady protestor started heckling, claiming that she had disgraced the Burkha by wearing it to the protest site.

Mitra further said that a mob began to assemble at the site and forced Gunja Kapoor to chant Islamic slogans like Kalima (la illah illallah) and demanded her to become “one of them” so that they could ‘accept’ her. They also repeatedly slapped, shoved and puller her hair, said Mitra.

“They tried to convert her. She refused,” said Iyer Mitra on behalf of victim Gunja Kapoor.

5n By this time this thief, assaulted & hostage taker “upasana” had checked her name & found her to be a BJP sympathiser. The attempts to force her to say the Kalima only got stronger at this point – and she was shoved, slapped & had her hair pulled. “Upasana” now wanted this

— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) February 6, 2020

According to Mitra, Upasana wanted this situation to develop into a hostage crisis. Another person agreed with Upsana and wanted the BJP to negotiate her release. The Shaheen Bagh police could not arrest the protestors as it could have turned violent. However, Sarita Vihar police visited the protest site at Shaheen Bagh.

The organisers refused to hand her over to Sarita Vihar police. They allegedly wanted to hold Gunja as a hostage and lay down conditions for handing her over. “It was a clear cut case of kidnapping and hostage-taking,” reported Abhijit Mitra.

7n because then the terrorists gherao the station. So they had to send someone from Sarita Vihar station. The organisers refused to hand her over. This obviously is a CLEAR CUT CASE OF KIDNAPPING & HOSTAGE TAKING. This “hatta gatta” jaat lady cop tried twice to force her way in

— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) February 6, 2020

The police who tried to push the protestors to rescue Gunja Kapoor was reportedly pushed back. The mob let the police only after they threatened to lathi-charge on the protestors, said Mitra who reported Gunja’s side of the story. Mitra said that Gunja distinctly remembered a protestor saying that “if they lathi charge that’ll be the end of the protest”. The mob then ended the hostage situation, added Mitra.

According to Abhijit Mitra, there were repeated physical assaults on Gunja in addition to the theft of phone and cash and ID card. “All the above crimes are punishable by years in jail and not to mention how her phone and Aadhar will be misused,” tweeted Defence analyst Mitra.

Mitra also provided proofs to strengthen his argument of how mob at Shaheen Bagh not only kidnapped Gunja Kapoor but also kept her as a hostage.

13n btw here you have the woman was so keen to constantly identify herself as a “HINDU PROTEST ORGANISER UPASANA SHARMA” admitting (0.18) she has taken away @gunjakapoor’s Aadhar Card. Cc @DelhiPolice. I bet you not one “investigative jounalist” will verify “upasana”’s ID pic.twitter.com/f03qgjcu05

— Abhijit Iyer-Mitra (@Iyervval) February 6, 2020

Shaheen Bagh protests are lately turning into a security threat as repeated instances of violence are being reported from the site. The mobs at the Shaheen Bagh, after attacking journalists like Deepak Chaurasia and Doordarshan reporters, had heckled senior journalist Bhupendra Chaubey during a live-show.

The anti-CAA protests, especially at Shaheen Bagh, which began as a peaceful protest has now crossed all the boundaries as it has not only turned violent but has now become another typical left-wing event where anti-India and Hinduphobic slogans are being openly chanted

here is one review

Only a callous, insensate, person would tell a victim of carnage, pogrom, genocide, ethnic cleansing that there are "two sides to truth". Hopefully Vidhu Vinod Chopra will not make a film on Bengal Famine, 1971 genocide by #Pakistan, Marichjhapi, 1984 massacre of Sikh, 26/11.

Sordid #denialism is worse than the crime against humanity being denied. It is morally abhorrent, ethically repugnant. Denialism is the tombstone that marks the grave where conscience has been buried. Denialism is by design, not by accident.

TN for the simple reason that geographically it was never ruled by Muslims, except for North Arcot. So to most tamils Islamic dhimmitude is not something they are aware of and hence do not carry a historical baggage. White Dhimmitude is abound though (and hence a chrisitan dhmmitude can be seen).

Also for some bizarre reason Tamil identity is stronger than others and equals or overlaps(depending) religious identity.

~24% voting till 2pm. Yupe, not a fat chance for BJP if that's how callous Hindus are. Will rather go on a weekend trip than vote, then cry that country is going to o dogs.
Edit:42% till 4pm.

Please read about Madurai Sultanate 1310-1326, role of Shivaji's men coming to Thanjavur in Aurangazebs time. DMK history has whitewashed these things from the public consciousness. Periyar had a very minor role in Vaikom opening to lower castes but is taught as Vaikom Veerer

People are overestimating the CAA protests. Even after Article 370 removal, BJP underperformed in MH & HN elections. So with a regular turnout, BJP always starts on the backfoot.

In long term, BJP needs to bring some elections reforms like NRI voting

By that you mean, it really sharpened their senses, made them extremely aware of Islamism and its horrors, prevented them from swallowing the standard tripe from Lutyens/ Left types? I did meet a Punjabi Hindu originally from West Punjab, he didn't mince words about the fanaticism and violence of Moslems there, and the general fanaticism of Islam.

Sad reality is that Hindus whether Punjabi or Bengali or UP/Bihari, Bengali, Malayali, AP or TN dont care about Hindu issues like Muslims care about muslim issues or christians care about christian issues. Psudo seculars give some freebies to Hindus before elections and then Hindus will turn blind eye to everything. I hope Delhites prove this thesis and exit polls wrong. If not, then they need to get ready for more shaheenbaghs.

So I went to vote after lunch, queue was long and slow, mostly voters were Punjabi and UP Baniya.

People mostly knew each other and biggest discussion was ELECTRIC Bill's, people were like "... my geezer on 24 hrs. Washing machine runs 4 hrs but got bill of only 160 Rs." Also people were miffed with Municipality Leaders of BJP. "....Modi is good in center but local BJP is horrible..."

Baniya Traders also miffed with ceiling by Municipality which is under BJP control. At Municipality level BJP guys seem to be thorough villains if they are to be believed.

Seems aap has it nicely wrapped up.
