Congress expels Jyotiraditya Scindia soon after he resigns
Source: PTI - Edited By: Hemant WajeLast updated on: March 10, 2020.

Minutes after disgruntled Congress leader and former Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia tendered his resignation, Congress president Sonia Gandhi expelled him from the party.
"The Congress president has approved the expulsion of Jyotiraditya Scindia from the Indian National Congress with immediate effect for anti-party activities," according to a statement from AICC general secretary K C Venugopal.
Scindia, earlier met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. Noting that the events of the day had been drawing themselves out for a year, Scindia in his resignation letter to Gandhi said that it was now best for him to look at a fresh start.

How BJP tapped Jyotiraditya Scindia’s isolation in Congress to make him quit the party
BJP meeting in Bhopal today where Jyotiraditya Scindia is set to be inducted, paving way for Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s return as MP chief minister.
SHANKER ARNIMESH 10 March, 2020

.....
BJP tapped Scindia isolation and dissatisfaction
Speaking to TherPrint, a BJP leader said Scindia had been facing isolation in the Congress for a long time.
“He was ignored, and was upset with Kamal Nath-Digvijaya jugalbandi. His candidature for the post of chief minister was denied. Sonia Gandhi had said that age was on his side and he would be made the Madhya Pradesh Congress president, but Kamal Nath did not cede this post to Scindia.”
The leader said Scindia had been waiting for the announcement of Rajya Sabha candidature but there was no communication from the top. This is when the BJP got in touch with Scindia and convinced him that there was no future for him in the Congress under the “ineffective leadership” of Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath, he added.
In January 2019, Scindia had sparked a buzz in Bhopal by calling on Chouhan. Both had then termed the meeting a courtesy call.
In November 2019, he signalled his dissatisfaction by dropping references to his official post in the Congress in his Twitter bio. He later played it down, though sources had then said Congress and Kamal Nath had “undermined his anger and frustration”.
“We had been in touch with Scindia for the last five months. Initiative was taken by Scindia, who then took time to reassure himself about quitting the Congress. When he gave the green signal, the BJP top leadership got involved,” the BJP leader told ThePrint.

You have to understand why kamalnath is chief minister because of his declaration ".... people are ready to drink rahul's urine...."

Graceful leaders like Sachin Pilot and Sindhia will never stoop to such levels of being a lackey to familia. That's why there would always be a gehlot or kamalnath stealing CMship from under their noses. Sindhia works sincerely and patiently in BJP and that patience will pay off in long term. While some Raul-pissdrinker will always keep superseding him.

Scindia betrayed people's trust, ideology: Gehlot
March 10, 2020

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday accused Jyotiraditya Scindia of betraying the trust of people and ideology, saying people like him cannot thrive without power and the sooner they leave the better it is.
Hitting out at Scindia soon after he resigned from the Congress, Gehlot said joining hands with the BJP at the time of national crisis spoke volumes about his self-indulgent political ambitions.

Next is MH. Put senior Pawar in, Junior Pawar is still the legislative head and can withdraw support from Shiv Sena and support BJP but as soon as SS gets a indication of this, they will simply jump ship.

Not going into the details of how this contract was obtained, this looks like a deliberate effort to undermine the system, given the political ideologies of most of the founders and their subsurface connections to parties other than the one in power.

Glitches waiting two years and yet to be resolved. It doesn't happen in any project of this magnitude and national importance.

GSTN glitch: Infosys asked to submit resolution plan in 15 days, Nilekani to make presentation

GSTN glitch: Infosys asked to submit resolution plan in 15 days, Nilekani to make presentation

New Delhi, MAR 09 2020,

The finance ministry has asked Infosys to provide within 15 days a plan for quick resolution of glitches on the GSTN portal, as it took strong note of the "unresolved" problems and "tardy" progress made over the last two years on multiple issues faced by taxpayers in filing returns.

On Saturday, Revenue Secretary held a meeting with top Infosys officials on the persistent glitches seen on the GST Network, and decided to ask Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani to make an urgent presentation before the GST Council on March 14.

Meanwhile, in a strongly worded letter to Infosys on March 5, the ministry said some of the problems highlighted as early as 2018 are still unresolved and failures month after month lead to genuine taxpayers "getting frustrated".

"It is requested to go through the pending issues, day-to-day disruptions and the future road map and come up with a plan for quick resolution within 15 days. Infosys has set high international standards and it is expected that the efficiency which your organisation is known for should be visible in the GST project also," the ministry said in the letter to Infosys.

Infosys declined to comment on the matter.

The IT company has developed the software for GST Network (GSTN) -- which provides the technology backbone for Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Highlighting the issues faced on the GSTN portal, the ministry said even though the GST system has been in operation for the last 30 months, there have been instances of taxpayer complaints on facing issues in filing returns in the last two days of the filing of returns (for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).

"It is noticed that MSP (Master Service Provider) M/s Infosys have been repeatedly asked to take timely action and to identify the root cause of issues after each event and taken corrective action. However, the problem still persists," it said.

The ministry said such glitches on the portal leads to an unhealthy tax compliance requirement more so when on account of such disruptions some taxpayers end up becoming liable for payment of late fee, interest.

The ministry has been working to shore up GST revenues. During the April-January period this fiscal, GST collection stood at Rs 10.19 lakh crore, down from Rs 11.7 lakh crore in the year-ago period

they would rather call fresh elections

the much coveted agri ministry has been the source of many a political fortune and that will never be on the table with this govt at the center.

I think Scindia is a good catch, and this is not a random "bhagoda" case. It is more like "ghar vapasi".

The Gwalior family has historically supported anti-INC parties. Most/all of them are already in the BJP for a long time. Madhavarao also won his first term in Guna on Jan Sangh ticket. The second time I believe he ran as an Independent because Morarji didn't give him a Janata Party ticket. Then switched over to Congis, though he was a "rebel" for some time in the 1990s.

I also think there will lot of other Congi leaders who will now seriously pursue leaving INC. I am not sure BJP should admit all of them - has to be on case by case basis.

Please remember they are Indians. The leadership of this country should have no other lens to see Indians. Yes many of them hail from J&K and perhaps some may turn out to be stone pelters too. But remember not bringing them back will give ammo those guys that India doesnt care about them. Best to do right karm and leave the rest on laws of Karm. The day they resort to stone pelters take them to task and show that it is a different ideology and not the good/bad acts of Indian state

I heard (FWIW) there's a lot of discontent in shiv sainiks at grassroot after UT joined hands with congress. Beyond few folks at the top rung, most people are not idealogically convinced...and are waiting for right moment. UT has been going to RJB for no reason. Apart from seeking blessings of ram lala he's messaging his audience and MARS that door should not be shut completely for him...

I tend to agree, for multiple reasons.

MH is much more important a catch than RJ. It is a much larger state. Furthermore, BJP will need to consolidate resources in MH for LS 2024 since it has no experience winning elections in MH on its own. Some things need to happen. MVA has many internal divisions that are all totally fair game to exploit. After what the Dork Duo has done, I would say pretty much anything goes as far as bringing these clowns down. Just like in KA, the MH goremint may be legal but is illegitimate.

On the other hand RJ has a stable goremint that won a clear mandate and cannot be simply "broken". If things happen internally within INC with a little greasing by BJP from the outside, then so be it...just like in MP. Moreover RJ will likely return to BJP in next assembly election, and like MP it will also be solidly with Modi again in LS 2024 no matter who is running state goremint.

Just wanted to mention two more news channels that are pro-Indic/Dharmic, at least sympathetic: NewsX( which always has a thoughtful, sometimes poignant opener by Rishabh Gulati) and WION TV. Their programs never express an anti-India stand, while being critical when needed.

Also, India Today TV, with people like Aroor, Chengappa, Unnithan, Sawant, Kanwar et al, are not anti-India( Rajdeep Sardesai does take a Lutyens/JNU/Left approach) , but may not emphasise the Dharmic character and soul of India. They are positively not mimicking the NYT, WaPo, WSJ, Guardian etc. You can count on them!

Rsatchi, Shampoo also wants to abandon ship but lot of resistance to meet his demands.

Vikas, Pilot has a lemma.

Added later...
After Delhi Violence during Trump Presidential visit stoked by Congress minions do you think these fragile kabilas will be allowed to rule?

All will be brought down.

MP was lost by 3500 votes cumulative from NOTARDS who wanted to teach BJP a lesson. They brought Qatalnath to power and subjected MP to deep distress.
Rajasthan was lost again due to fools thinking they want to teach Vasundhra a lesson. The brought Gehlot to power.
You all know the story of Maharashtra.

This teach the lesson to your own by bringing enemy to power should be erased from Indian memory.

Philip Why quote wise adages when the matter is simple?
JS sees no future in Congress at State or Central level.
At State he wont be CM as long as Qatalnath and Doggy are there.
And wont be allowed in center to ensure he is not a rival to Aloo.

All I can say is this time a Chouhan has hit the target.

Now suspicion in Cong will increase on Pilot forcing him out even if he isn't contemplating it seriously. It's important to get Sachin Pilot out of INC (he can start his own party for all I care). Without Scindia, Pilot and Taroor, Cong has no next gen voice that is known at a national level. It's dependence on Rahul will increase even further hastening it's demise.

I don't think they are divorced. There are many rumours of his philandering and a rift between them but they are not divorced.

For all you know the Abdullahs may 'encourage' Pilot through his wifey to join the BJP camp if that would get them some leverage on messing up Kashmir valley again. .

I think that the abdullahs and the muftis are done for now. They themselves have not challenged their detentions because the extensive properties they own in cashmere and also abroad, notably in the UK, all acquired using money stolen from the exchequer as well as "contributions" from the ISI.

The list, one understands, is so extensive that even the perfidious jehadis will find it difficult to digest, much less forgive the massive looting that has taken place on a pandemic scale.

so the muftis have taken to speaking through their daughters on twitter or the abdullahs getting some sort of habeas corpus petition filed through their estranged daughter sarah pilot whose marriage they did not even attend.
