dinesh_kimar wrote:Friends, I have seen some news reports of ex Bureaucrat RVS Mani, who is prominent in social media about 26/11 conspiracy and advise not to take all statements at face value.

Apparently, he has said in 2013 that no proof exists on "UPA hand behind 26/11." Given in writing to the Court and on files, reported in Indian Express.

This was allegedly used by Hafiz Sayeed to claim that L-e-T was innocent of 26/11.

Contrast this to his social media appearances recently, where he addresses the public on UPA conspiracy.

An obvious flip flop.

The man also claims that 2001 Akshardham Temple attack was State sponsored, meaning the NDA was behind it, in an other report.

The news reports paint a picture of interdepartmental rivalry between Mani and his seniors at the time.

Like the roads in our mountains, " Proceed with caution."

RVS Mani was made to file affidavits and make "official" statements as part of his bounden duties when he was a govt servant and such affidavits and "official" statements made by him was the official and stated position of the GoI and the home ministry at the time and not his personal opinions.

It was very much a part of his official duties to do so and refusal to carry out orders given him by his superior officers would have been a gross violation of his service conditions and would have invited mandatory disciplinary and punitive action by blatantly biased communal and vengeful congi party ministers who were in power at the time.

one should not be so eagerly uncharitable and needlessly judgemental.

One could do him the courtesy of reading his book, cutting him some slack and then, as you yourself so wisely say: "proceed with caution".

he is undoubtedly one among the very few good guys of that extremely malicious, anti India and anti Hindu era and continues to be a staunch dharmic kshatriya even today and his many exposes and disclosures of wrongdoings by the BIF high and mighty has and still is causing a very severe itch in many a communal langote.

But hey, that's just my two paise.

Agree completely. All doubters, please just read his book 'Hindu Terror'. Not well written, editing could have been better, but the facts speak for themselves.

Amit Malviya didnt get the boot ? I am disappointed. That duffer keeps asking questions to opposition, forgetting the fact that he is representing the party in power and has all the necessary agencies at his disposal.

Only recently I see him raising issues using OPINDIA articles and SwarajyaMag articles.

I wish we had someone more dynamic and aggressive in that post.

What is the point in having the largest voluntary army of bhakts and he behaves like a half baked soyboy.

I think he is still in Delhi.

Now that it is known he has a business visa, I am wondering who is sponsoring/supporting it. To get a business visa one needs a letter from the companies/organizations both in India and in the foreign country. I am guessing he has a contract with Bloomsbury which is a multinational publisher with offices in UK, Australia, and India, and they are sponsoring/supporting this visa.

If that's the case, the publisher should also be implicated for inserting political activists in India on pretext of business (immigration/visa fraud). I believe Arora's case already includes them, but the immigration fraud issue should be expanded to the company as well.

The twitter messages show evidence of collusion between the publisher, Dalrymple, and several other Bloomsbury authors (don't know how many of those are foreigners working in India) to get Arora's book cancelled for political reasons (and not for any other reasons). Bloomsbury can't say that Dalrymple was doing activism on his own and they are not responsible.

I'd say the best outcome is that Dalrymple's visa is revoked, he is arrested for immigration fraud and spends some time enjoying goremint hospitality, and then deported, and Bloomsbury India is closed down for immigration fraud.

Hopefully this will translate to all events so first time in ages people will do actual puja rather than party. This will also curtail many islamic activities related to grooming of Hindu girls and earning money from Hindu festivities.

No State level Navratri Mahotsav this year by Gujarat government
https://www.deshgujarat.com/2020/09/26/ ... overnment/
Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said that it will not celebrate State-level Navratri Mahotsav in upcoming Navratri festival period this year during 17-25 October. This decision has been taken at the level of State Chief Minister in view of global pandemic. The decision has been taken for good of people, stated a note released by State government.

Hopefully, GoI has taken enough measures to not allow everyone involved to leave the country. Many people should be jailed.

the new list of BJP's national office bearers is out and amit malviya's name appears once again at the IT cell head.

no one in their right mind would dare use or be allowed to use covert sources to buttress any points made in a public debate which is why amit malviya is correctly using open source data in his arguments.

covert sources could be inadvertently outed and needlessly compromised and/or people could get hurt if their inputs are revealed by people without any actual intelligence background.

covert sources are just that: covert.

They remain covert and therefore effective because they rightfully expect to be safe and are therefore protected.

Even if it's marijuana, the problem is ecosystem to smuggle it and nefarious activities behind it. In US, marijuana more or less was still grown while getting it to be illegal worldwide and within US. Now US has legal growing all over. Though there are allegations of synthetics to cocaine to imported marijuana. All smuggled by pakistani and dawood associates being the key. India needs to legalize growing cannabis to eliminate one of the category. chinese synthetics are also becoming common.

^^
Not asking "requesting" a bail-out is how I see it.

Baby penguin is know for his closeness to the Gen-Z of bollywood including Karan Johar. It is not too far-fetched to image baby penguin partying with the lot regularly.

Plus the fact that EVEY one who is called in for questioning by NCB has had to hand over their phones for forensic examination including Deepika. In today's era, especially for the jet-set, their phone are their life capturing most private details via photos, video, chats, etc.

Now image Karan Johar, a friend of baby penguin, being called in and his phone examined. What are the chances that we might discover baby penguin in a drug chat with Karan or at least a party where drugs were on the menu?

Therefore, the need for a bail-out BEFORE the s*** hits the fan. My guess is that this meeting is an effort to reach out to Modi/Shah and forestall the looming possibility. There where other attempts that were made earlier via Nagpur, etc but were rebuffed. With Dharma production being mentioned as part of the drug swoop, the fire is closing in and causing a lot of concern in the Sena camp.

Btw, I don't see BJP pushing for a change of government in Maharashtra right at this moment when the Sena is doing a great job of highlighting its own incompetence. My view is that BJP would rather wait for the COVID numbers to start stabilizing before making a move.

volte face in AIIMS panel on SSR case. Some drs refused to write homicide.
If AIIMS report is inconclusive (which it will be), CBI case falls apart & will be closed.
Hence NCB heat.
many drs were appointed by previous regime and they fear retribution once this govt is out.

Constitution Of Rashtriya Raksha University: Beginning of Policing Reforms?
As Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi had set up the Raksha Shakti University in 2009 in Lavad village of the Dahegam tehsil in Gandhinagar.

This university was recently accorded the status of a Central university and an institution of national importance via a Bill passed in the just-concluded monsoon session of Parliament.

This university is a unique one — it was set up to focus on internal security as an exclusive area of study.

Policing as a skill itself hasn’t been taught in India formally. There are no formal qualifications required to join the police force at most levels.

Policing skills are then picked up via academy trainings or simply on the job, in case one is in police service.

As per the “Status of Policing in India Report 2018 — A Study of Performance and Perceptions” released by Common Cause, a non-government organisation, policing in India has lacked a humane and trained interface to deal with citizens.

they need to extricate come gaddari politician's kid's testimonials from the wringer.

and obligingly, for the time being, the CBI + others seems to have been sent on a spurious reconnaissance mission to keep them away from the said testimonials.

rumours are that this is very much like how sanjay dutt's testimonials were extricated from the arms case except this time it's uncomfortably close to home, both the case as well as the testimonials and said testimonials are very much smaller and the case also may be very much bigger.

all the national agency big guns have been deployed just to show that betrayed people mean business and will extract revenge.

The farm bills as well as the coop banks bill have neutered the opposition and their patronage providing networks have been savagely emasculated.

just see which two parties and bosses from MAH did not even dare to attend the rajya sabha when the farm bills were passed.

BJP will lose all the goodwill in MH if they once again decide to go with Shivsena. The MVA govt should be allowed to fall on its on sword , the father and son have irreparably tarnished the image & reputation of the party created by Balasaheb Thackeray and have all but ensured the future of sena as a political outfit in MH is untenable. Given the current arithmetic, BJP cannot form the government on its own unless there is a mass defection from SS, so the best bet would be to wait for the govt to collapse and fight the elections in all seats. The elections will also be a good time to try and break SS and NCP from within. After having completely mismanaged the covid pandemic, Sushant Singh's death, nexus with ISI-sponsored bollywood and the recent floods, BJP should be out of their mind to ally themselves with the seriously damaged thackerays .

Nothing short of bringing heads on platter of people involved with anti India people in MH can redeem Sunni Sena. Essentially SS turning out to be double agent sort of thing.

On SSR issue, there will still be an unresolved issue of many deaths connected to each other. Was not there like 10 deaths or so in a short period of time?

No, it's all politics. BJP went again with JDU. It can easily align again with Shiv Sena, and the past will be forgotten. Ideally, there should have been some big internal rebellion with Shiv Sena, but that hasn't happened, and doesn't appear happening soon.

Internal rebellion is possible when there are strong leaders within the party, Bal Thackeray clipped the wings of Narayan Rane and Chaggan Bhujbal as he saw potential future rivals in these two, so now all sena is left with are a bunch of "yes men" who cannot see beyond the next BMC elections. There will be an internal rebellion after sena gets trounced in the future elections, the only sena acceptable to BJP should be the one without thackerays and that motor-mouth Raut. I do think if BJP had someone ruthlessly ambitious and politically sharp like Pramod Mahajan in MH, SS after BT would have already been broken up.

Many in Sunni Sena carried out anti Hindu orders so BJP accepting them back and aligning with them will result in losing Hindu votes outside MH. In GJ, CR Patil has been assigned as chief just because people on ground had started interpreting deal making of BJP with outsiders to be the same as BJP being INC. BJP doesn't seem to be having any issue passing bills at the center to make any deals right now unless they want to let go of all gains in WB by sending wrong signals. How will BJP answer to cadre loosing lives on ground for what they believe in?

The only international organisation that recognises Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as separate "countries" is FIFA (football) which was dominated by the British and when the home countries dominated football as they invented the game. No longer.

scotland has had long standing separatist tendencies and it may even rejoin the EU, in time, (as they actually voted to stay back in the EU).

The scots are also asking for a referendum again. They will leave sooner or later, it's only a matter of time.

Bihar election could be another backstab. If JDU wins close +60 seats, they could form the gov without BJP. Hope BJP has different plans, and in the long term of being the senior party in Bihar.

Please stop mindlessly conflating Scotland with Gujarat or anything Indian . The United Kingdom is a very unique construct and it’s accurate to call Scotland a separate nation even if the passport is issued by the larger entity named United Kingdom. There are multiple overlapping national entities here:
Home Nations: England, Scotland, Wales , N.Ireland . Google Home Nations for more information. In cricket , the home nations are separate teams . Same in Commonwealth Games.
Great Britain: this is the ‘main island’, GB = England plus Scotland plus Wales . In Olympics , three of the home nations form a single team GB, while Northern Ireland is separate . NI sportsmen can choose to represent GB or Ireland at Olympics.
United Kingdom : this is GB + NI plus several smaller islands, eg Isle of Man. In international politics, UK is the representative entity.
British Isles : UK plus Republic of Ireland

It is accurate to say Dalrymple is a Scottish national because that is very much accurate. It’s just that his passport issuing authority is a supranational entity called UK .

that's because the "rebels" currently have no safe harbour/other party to go to and they will not survive on their own.

They have all learned lessons from ajit pawar's "homecoming" and so the BJP in particular is wary of turncoats

Any strategy to this or just plain selling out?
Why is Prasar Bharati dragging its feet over relationship with PTI? 3 months and still no action
https://www.opindia.com/2020/09/prasar- ... no-action/
Almost exactly three months back, there was news that public broadcaster Prasar Bharati may cut ties with the news agency PTI especially after PTI provided platform to Chinese ambassador to run their propaganda during the Ladakh standoff. In an interview with the news agency, Sun Weidong placed the entire blame for the Galwan Valley clash at India’s feet without ever being confronted by the PTI over the Chinese propaganda.

Is it too far fetched to think that intentional flaring of the pandemic can't be put past the anti India state governments as elections come calling? Nothing better than mass spilling over into neighboring states and overwhelm medical systems in competent states.

So would I be correct in referring to PM Modi as a Gujrati national. For your information, the Scots voted to stay in the UK just four years ago. They were among the most enthusiastic colonialists as it gave their folks an opportunity to shine under the British flag.

The only international organisation that recognises Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as separate "countries" is FIFA (football) which was dominated by the British and when the home countries dominated football as they invented the game. No longer.

No, because Gujarat has no constitutional right to secede from the Indian Union. It is defined as a state and not a country or kingdom within the Union. In India some clowns in erstwhile J&K state were trying to assert national identity through a "referendum" demand, but this drama has been shut down entirely now.

Scotland (and also Wales, Northern Eire etc) can secede via referendum/vote. The very fact that they were able to hold a referendum on it tells you they have a national identity, which is historically very obvious.

Sports is of no relevance here, but FWIW the ICC (cricket) also recognizes England, Scotland, etc as separate countries and teams. There is no "UK" cricket team.

PS: even Wikipedia begins with: "Scotland is a country that is part of the UK". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland
