Need to have more ponds, wells, and other water bodies all over to keep ecosystems going and ground water recharged.

Only if GJ had competent person like Yogi then GJ would have also figured out how to put migrant workers to work and fix environmental issues.

I don't know if this is true or not. But its very plausible for several reasons:

1. As Chetak pointed out, the latent German security apparatus and secret police will snoop in at the slightest hint of any danger to her.

2. It is well known, and I can tell you from personal experience have visited Deutch land several times, that Germans are 100+% fiercely nationalistic and law abiding. So there may be a few far right Nazi nut cases or communist perverts who want to get rid of her for some reason, but by and large I doubt modern day Germans will commit such heinous crime. Besides, as the write up below the picture says, the average bloke has better things to do like watching the bundesliga while gulping down the galloons of Hefeweizen and Pilsner and Kolsch she has provided :-). The worst threat she probably faces is a few eggs or a cake thrown at her by some ultra left clowns who want even more stricter environmental legislations :-).

3. Coming back to Indian politics, its unfortunate that a Hindu son-of-the-soil ModiJi, also a tall leader like Merkel, can't do something like this in his own holy land, even though I am sure he would love to visit and even have food at amm junta homes, but there so many Hindu haters out there for whom getting him is the ultimate prize, something as desirable as this is inconceivable. Sad.

The Merkel thing is 400% photo ops. Putin does it all the time. The US presidents have their stupid dog on leash show while getting out of their aircrafts etc.

The worst is watching that nightie wearing boss of Doofai and his antics. There are pictures of him driving a Land Rover, waiting for traffic lights to cross a street or sitting and talking with some street vendor.

Immediately the kerala internets go wild with reforwards and :(( about
1) how useless our leaders are, in not doing these things
2) can happen only in an Islamic country (usually by closeted sudus)

Heck even got a forward from a commie local leader in some WhatsApp group and I had a good time pointing out that

1) the said nightie in these videos is an undemocratic, hereditary, capitalist and a tribal despot who will never win an election, yet is somehow loved by the kerala commies.
2) he and his fellow nighties have entire highways/roads where no one else can drive, including said commie leaders on a visit
3) runs labour camps choked with fellow Indians, where forget unions, you can’t even toot without permission
4) gazillion videos of our leaders trying same sham with our public too. Difference is we laugh at such antics and they will stop doing it

Lots of :(( about how I am apparently not getting the message

(OT post)

There is a distribution even in research universities. Mostly they do require a minimum/decent level of teaching quality. Terrible teaching quality still can get you fired. Like I said earlier, fields like "history" and "indology" don't attract the cream of the intellectual crop, they usually get the bottom of the barrel. In these fields, even the definition of "successful research" is not clear. Advancement is mainly about playing the politics correctly and cranking out material that satisfies a certain type of agenda.

Handing out money like this doesn't solve many problems suffered by cow shelters. GJ govt should have involved universities within GJ to provide guidance and templates on how to run this. Incentives and competitive environment should have been created for students to participate from vedic studies to agriculture to IT to dairy to administration to forensics to veterinary to engineering to accounting. The forensic accounting is key one here to prevent cow smuggling. The portion of this aid needed to be poison pilled to have web cameras for live videos and daily video uploading. GJ should have also made field trips from school mandatory to increase awareness.

The woman can be seen dressed in traditional saree, jewellery and bindi, as people around her, dressed up like traditional Muslims, sans the bindi, are taking her to a garden for a ‘surprise’. Guys, does Audrey have a lot of following from among the BIF crowd and westernized libarandu crowd'? I am of course referring to wire, UndY, telegrahp, dirtylaundary, print, Turdeasi, Bdutt, Pagalika, Coupta, Saba, Ayyub etc to name some. I am pretty sure Sreenivasan Jain has had a program on Undy introducing her as a 'Sooth Asian Scholar'.

Reason being that support from such perverts goes a long way towards her credibility. And that Rutgers gave her tenure speaks volumes of where they stand on her hate. Can you imagine anyone granted tenure for eulogizing Hitler (the white Christian equivalent of Aurangzeb)? She is well protected by the US system, and so any aggressive attempt to discredit her by an SDRE will considered 'harassment', so IMO, she is sitting pretty spewing her Hindu hate, well funded by TSP and BIF.

Darshanji, The Tatas don't need to prove their patriotism or loyalty towards India to anyone, they've done more for this country than all of us put together x 100 lifetimes. Today it is 'Tata' Sons' in name only, it is run like any other well run company with board of directors from all over India , its current CEO is N Chanrasekaran. These ads are handy work of advertisement companies which are mostly inhabited by global liberal leftist types. The good thing is in the age of social media and awareness, people no longer fall for this subtle "secularism" BS unlike in the past. Tanishq is not the problem but jewelry companies like Jos Alukkas, Malabar Gold etc are a direct threat to national security.

Ambarji, my comments were obviously for what's present today and not what's departed. My main point is what you have stated that the present corporation can't be trusted as it's not good old Tata. Many nationalists like to go for Tata based on the past aura and that's where I am throwing caution. Other smuggling joints are obviously there and they are for GoI to go after as nationalists won't be shopping at smuggling joints. the jaichands that do shop to save few rupees aren't going to stop shopping on our calls.

As you said, good Tatas are gone and they had done their part. It would have been nice if good ones had changed names of their companies before departing. End of the day there's dhutrastra in every father.

Watch: The 1948 Calcutta Maidan speech of Sardar Patel that busts the myth of ‘Muslims chose India’ and is relevant even today

While it has now become almost unforgivable to question the core tenet of Nehruvian Secularism, the political stalwarts of the Independence era were well aware that Muslims had not chosen to remain in India because they rejected the philosophy of an Islamic State.

OpIndia Staff

Sardar Patel Calcutta Maidan Spech busts the myth of Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb

‘Myth-making’ is an intrinsic feature of the establishment of any Republic. In order to legitimise its existence and its hold over power, the ruling establishment of every country creates certain myths that helps it further entrench itself in the corridors of power and justify its ideology. A similar phenomenon has also been observed with the establishment of the Nehruvian Secular state in in India with its ideology of ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb’.

One of the core tenets of the ideology of ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb’ is that Indian Muslims in 1947 chose ‘secular India’ over the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and consequently, all manners of minority appeasement is justified and whitewashing of Islamic radicalism is encouraged and even glorified. This obvious lie has permitted radical Islamic leaders such Asaduddin Owaisi, whose brother is often found threatening Hindus with violence, to walk away with atrocious demands by asserting that they ‘chose’ India over Pakistan.

While it has now become almost unforgivable to question the core tenet of Nehruvian Secularism, the political stalwarts of the Independence era were well aware that Muslims had not chosen to remain in India because they rejected the philosophy of an Islamic State. Sardar Patel, in his iconic speech in Kolkata in January 1948, gave voice to sentiments that would appal our ‘secular’ leaders to day.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40aannaRcUI

Sardar Patel speech from Calcutta Maidan, 3rd January, 1948

Sardar Patel said, “The Muslims who are still in India, many of them helped in the creation of Pakistan… Has their nation changed overnight? I don’t understand how it changed so much. They now say that they are loyal and ask why their loyalty is being questioned. So I reply why are you questioning us, ask yourself. This is not something you should ask us.”

“I said one thing, you created Pakistan, good for you. They say that Pakistan and India should come together. I say please refrain from saying such things. Let Pakistan become heaven itself, we will enjoy the cool breeze coming from it (audience breaks out into raucous laughter),” he continued. It wasn’t the only time that Sardar Patel would speak of Indian Muslims having loyalties towards Pakistan.

In his letter to G.B.Pant, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, on the 9th of January 1950, days after Murthis of Ram Lalla and Mata Sita had magically manifested themselves within the Babri Masjid, Sardar Patel wrote among other things, “The prime minister has already sent to you a telegram expressing his concern over the developments in Ayodhya. I spoke to you about it in Lucknow. I feel that the controversy has been raised at a most inopportune time both from the point of view of the country at large and of your own province in particular. The wider communal issues have only been recently resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the various communities. So far as Muslims are concerned, they are just settling down to their new loyalties.”

The hallowed myth has also been coming apart as the edifice of Nehruvian Secularism is crumbling apart after six years of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. Sharjeel Imam, a beloved ‘intellectual’ of the Left accused of playing a pivotal role in the violence that erupted in the national capital in the aftermath of the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Act, has written and spoken extensively on the matter.

Sharjeel Imam believes Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the creator of Pakistan, to be an Indian leader and said that there are lots of lessons Indian Muslims could learn from him. According to him, Jinnah was an Indian Muslim leader fighting against the forces of Hindu revivalism. Most significantly, however, he said that Muslims did not choose India due to ideals of ‘secularism’. He said that Muslims remained in India due to their property and other reasons.

Thus, from Sardar Patel’s own words and those of an Islamist hailed as an ‘intellectual’ by the Indian Left, it is clear that ‘Muslims chose secular India over Islamic Pakistan’ is an enduring myth of the ideology of ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb’ of the Nehruvian Secular State.
However, this myth, along with many others, is destined for the dustbins of history.

In every state BJP seems to have factions within factions ! Few of these factions in TN were dead-against Khushboo joining BJP and few were in support of her joining BJP. Bottomline, if BJP is serious about gaining seats in states like TN then they need borrow from AAPs playbook in Delhi during its formative days. Advertise nonstop saying how you are a no-nonsense party made of serious, accomplished citizens.Tell the masses you are a party of dedicated people from all walks of life who form grassroot movement to improve the lives of ordinary citizens. Instead by allowing crypto-nutjobs like Khushboo BJP is tarnishing its reputation even before the real fight has begun. Someone like a young IPS officer K Annamalai joining BJP is an asset, he should be honed to play a part in state and national level, but people like Kushboo are a liability.

Out of the 34 production houses there are 2 that are owned by Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. They are all the same but they try to hedge their bets by playing on both sides.

The article still paints India as villainous and pretty much blames all Islamic extremism as having originated in India. Its actually an absurd article in my view.

it simply says that the new kid on the block, as far as islamic extremism is concerned is deobandi in India which was not the case earlier and the ISIS is increasingly beginning to consolidate by acquiring combat recruits from India wiling to serve them in their warzones in a mercenary capacity.

the many other Indians who have gone directly from other countries, mostly from the gulf, is not of much concern to the authorities here because there is no way to stop them.

any Indian passport holder/citizen of India making war on any country is not to be tolerated because, apart from many other things, when they sometimes return back to India, they are highly radicalized, with some active experience of operating in a combat zone and become recruiters and influencers who can raise money for their cause and this cannot be good for India under any circumstances.

because of its resources, the ISIS is far more devious and dangerous than any radical islamist terror group that we have faced so far and they are actively targeting India since the last few years by spreading their networks and building up terror infrastructure.

so to superficially brush it off so dismissively, contemptutously and callously is to invite trouble.

the fact that inimical forces are increasingly gathering in numbers cannot be missed and the fact that cheeni paki angle in this insidious project that will obviously endeavor to co-opt and include the ISIS is an omnipresent danger to us because of cashmere, ladakh and POK are common friction points to all the three.

people have been paid off big time.

there are only two groups and their geriatric leaders that can force the penguins to give up the arrey land and both have been co-opted by the BIF to to sell the deal.

something stinks all the way to the rome raj

the BJP must topple and reverse the land grab.

Accomplishing its self-interest, Catholic Church grab Aarey Forest Land

News Bharati 17-Sep-2019

Mumbai, September 17: Ever since the decision to start the Mumbai Metro project has come into being, the age-old NGO, Civil Society or Activist network are rushing to the courts to obtain stay orders. Adding up to the anti-national elements of the entire chaos, the Legal Rights Observatory has noted that such organisations are backed by Catholic Church's. An instance of signifying double standards was seen when the Church grabbed the Aarey Forest land through court order, while the activists and NGO’s give a blind eye because now ‘Save Aarey Forest’ is not an issue.

The Legal Rights Organisation, a legal rights watchdog highlighted how the Catholic Church ran signature campaign against the Mumbai Metro 3 project though it’s in public interest. The Christians have put their own interest above public interest like the one it did during the Konkan Railway-Kudankulam-Aarey.

The backdrop of the plan to grab the land was carried eight years back and finally the quest by the Christian Community has come to an end as the court granted the permission to use the land. Questioning the Managing Director of the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, Ashwini Bhide asked that if Catholic Church had so much concern about Aarey Forest, then why didn't it humbly reject land earmarked by BMC? Did Church start something SECRET in land which Mumbai Metro 3 shed project would expose? What exactly they want to hide? Do they want to expand encroachment?

Giving a background check of the preventive measures taken by the state government has assured that the Mumbai Metro will save lives & bring back smiles on faces of parents who worry about the safe return of their children traveling on impossibly overcrowded suburban trains.

The Maharashtra government aided by Centre has shown impressive progress when it comes to this Metro project. Interestingly, the Mumbai Metro will solve problems like reducing vehicular traffic which the metro will de-clogs the roads and it shall reduce CO2emission by 2.6 lakh metric tons every year.

An important point to note is that the Sanjay Gandhi Nation Park is spread over 11,687 Hectare whereas Aarey Colony in 1287 Hectare. Out of the 1287 hectare, the metro car shed will be only built on 30 Hectare of Aarey land and even within that 5 Hectare has been kept intact for greenery. So, in a nutshell, only 2% area of the entire Aarey Colony will be utilized for the proposed metro car shed.

^ Article is silent about what use was permitted. It's possible that park use was permitted, which would be fine. OTOH, if industrial use was permitted, that not be appropriate. It seems the author of the article has a vested interest in allowing industrial use of the land via the metro project.

I am glad even if slowly but surely more and more people are identifying the subtle psychops on TV and in our movies.
