Responding to a post here rather than pollute wuhan resources thread.
There is a rise in covid cases, and death rates are rising in states that failed in last-mile delivery of the vaccines, and are now pretending it is due to a shortage of vaccines.
Raja: Either all these articles coming out in the national and international press are lies or there IS a shortage of vaccination on the ground.
Raja: Harsh Vardhan has repeated time and time again that there is no shortage. But, why are vaccination centers closing down or is that a lie?
so we now trust the national and international press to start telling you the truth about Indian govt.s handling of the pandemic when they have not done so for the past year? Maybe some critical thinking is in order if forumites are wandering in that direction.
When was the last time the "international media" reported the right facts about India? Perhaps you can come up with some links that demonstrate that claim. Or should we take the likes of unethical lowlives like Vidya Krishnan , Jyoti Malhotra and the rest of lutyens lowlives in the Indian media as the word of truth when it comes to reporting about the Indian pandemic?
I would go with "lying"for political reasons at least in part -- Amarinder Singh comes on TV and lies about not getting permission to produce oxygen in Punjab, and this was being broadcasted as is, and this is one lie that was said in all that media noise.
Incompetent state govts. are trying to pass on the blame to the center.
If there was a vaccination shortage, SII would say so, but the center's message is in sync with them in terms of vaccine supply/
Instead of following other states that took control of COVID early on, Punjab CM was busy with protesting with the arthiyas, Uddhav thackeray and co were busy taking on Republic TV and trtying to bomb Ambani's residence, and Kejriwal was busy being the incompetent loser that he has always been. And now these states are seeing an explosion in cases, and suddenly it is all the center's fault? yeah, sounds real credible.
Raja: Yet even in this forum there have been reported cases of relatives being turned back because there is no vaccine available.
The center cannot fudge vaccine data when the SII has the same data and would say otherwise, if the central govt. was fudging data. SII has no reason to lie about vaccine supply and manufacturing -- so yes, the state govts. and their media hands are lying about not having vaccines, so they do not have to own up to their incompetence.
There is also a new mutation that is more aggressive and other reasons for rising cases, but given that vaccinations do not prevent people from getting COVID, blaming the rise of cases "not enough vaccines" is nonsense. It all just seems like irresponsible political games played by incompetent political parties, that do not have brains or skills to do public governance.
