Wow. Finally something to counter the narrative. Bookmarking the link. I didn't expected it to be entirely produced in India with heavy focus on discrimination against non-abrahamic religions. Now the report needs to be publicised by the media via various reports & YouTube videos. Excellent work by whoever is behind it.Prem Kumar wrote:Thanks skumar! GST Council | Supreme Court’s judgment has multi-dimensional implications
What is the impact on the whole GST system with this verdict? Will the states now be at liberty to change the GST rates and also exclude certain items from the GST (at a state level). Why I ask this is that commie freeloader Finance Minister Thomas Isaac et.al have already started salivating over the verdict. From what I understand; the scheme of Central Govt compensating states for moving to GST regime is also coming to an end in a couple of months. States like KL who are in a big debt trap would have taken another blow if these 'free money' flow also gets stopped.

this is an opposition driven agenda, and a part of the ongoing takedown of the Indian state.
Either an urgent appeal be taken up or better still, legislative a way to bypass the judgement, just like r@j!v g@ndhy did with the shahbanoo judgement
There is a silent and creeping assault in progress, with things like the marital rape act and the ongoing destabilization of the temple culture that is most visible in the dravidian state and is slowly being spread to the tribal belt, enmeshing the dalits and abrahamics in an all out war against the majority.
The financial unravelling of a long and much awaited GST reforms will go the farm laws and the CAA way because of deliberate and wholly unwarranted over reach
The sedition law is being relooked at and that was the last bastion against the BIF wokes who were fearful of it.
The naxals are rejoicing the eagerly expected demise of the sedition laws
The law and order infrastructure is inadequate and moreover it is in the hands of the state govt. One saw what khujliwal attempted to do with it, even use it for arresting people in other states while the CBI etc can all be stooped in their tracks by simply denying permission for it to enter a state.
Money laundering, drug and human trafficking along with arms trafficking done with hawala transferred money is actively fuelling communal unrest and seditious activities in many states.
These guys are all really fearful of Modi returning in 2024.
hizzonners have always been an integral part of such a package since independence and one has to look at IGs tenure to see what really happened and how the commies (BIF) used every resource to attack the Indian state. They were the guys who rammed through the words secular and socialist into the constitution.
This basic structure of the constitution conspiracy is another long term play in progress. More such nooses are being prepared including the POW act, the real implications of which were not clearly understood by the lathi legions.

this will take us back to the pre GST supply chain chaos, state checkposts will be back, politicos coffers will start to fill up again, negating the gains of the previous years and the black economy will bloom once again, tax cases will be filed, clogging up the system, pushing up the inflation by fuelling the price rises and retired hizzonners will soon start to find post retirement cushy sinecures as tribunal heads and arbitration consultants.
It will hit the investment climate because tax implementation will become subjective to the whims and fancies of grasping politicos.

I haven't watched the Coupta video but I think in the RJB case, the SC called this as Basic Structure. Unfortunately, the GoI hasn't appealed it.Atmavik wrote:Coupta has a new video about POW act and states that its now part of the basic structure which cannot be repealed.
The idea of Basic Structure is interesting.
On one hand, it is important. The Cong govt removed Right to property as a fundamental right (which is what led to this). So, you'd need protection against a govt using brute majority to change, say, the fundamental rights or the right to vote.
On the other hand, the threat now is an ossified constitution that can't be changed. The NJAC judgement considered separation of powers as basic structure to strike it down. But separation of powers hasn't stopped judiciary in meddling what is clearly policy domain - appointing CoI in BCCI, ordering CNG buses in Delhi, appointing a panel for the agri laws, entertaining all sorts of PIL etc. Basic structure hasn't prevented ruining the right to equality by having special consideration for minorities in RTE act.
I have no idea how POW act can be basic structure if it was only passed some 40 years after constitution came into effect.
It is worrysome that judiciary is gradually taking over policy. And the Parliament is so dysfunctional that it is unable to stop it.
Re: 2021 Strategic and Political Analysis-1

Punjab is different and probably more similar to West Bengal than Karnataka. BJP has no history in the state, no party infrastructure, very few party workers and zero leaders. If they can get few marketable faces from other parties to take on AAP then its not such a bad thing because as it stands BJP's chances in 2027 in Punjab is anywhere between 0 to 1 seats.

If you don't agree with their decisions, there is no recourse - you can't vote them out, you can't even criticize the decisions.
Some people are blessed - they get SC hearing the next day, while there are thousands of cases pending for decades.
The economy is held back because there is absolutely no enforceability of contracts. If you take the other party to court, you have to wait for a few decades. But the courts want to run BCCI and AIFF !
Unfortunately, we can't say any more.
