India has to be a neutral party. It’s not as though Israel is a great friend. They are just looking for economic opportunities as well and culture and civilization of the heathens be damned. Their strategies are simply more subtle.
Indians are caught between the devil and deep se.

Staying neutral doesn’t mean we’re aligning with Palestine.

We aren’t getting much benefits from either side, except that we are dependent for oil on the Islamic nations which support Palestine and we also get dollars by exporting some (replaceable) low-tech goods to them. It doesn’t make sense to side with Israel when we aren’t getting benefits from it which outweigh the losses of getting into strife with our oil suppliers & those who import stuff from us. Hence, we should stay neutral.

Why must India support Israel and what are the benefits of doing so? I think that is a question that needs to be answered.
1)Despite conflicts, the one Abrahamic group where we have deep networks and alliances in the Middle East is the Islamic groups. There is no need to jeopardize those alliances.
2)India has a 15 percent population that feels strongly about Palestine. There is no need to antagonize.
3)If you look at it neutrally what has happened in Palestine has happened in Kashmir - settlers came in and forced the natives out, same with Islamists who came in and forced conversions and ethnic cleansing of indics over a long period of time. It’s paradoxical that the same groups bleating about Palestinian rights don’t see that they themselves violated the claims of the aborigines.
4)In India itself the so called Israeli tourists have formed enclaves where you would have a hard time venturing. In a couple of generations, wait for the same settler nonsense to start.
5) Israel is opportunistic and will sell whatever they have to the highest possible bidder. They will invest and buy what works for them. There is no special generosity and friendship.
6) In the long run while the violence from one of the Abrahamic brothers is obvious and we have faced it, from the other brother, the violence is subtle and civilization destroying. The groups allied with Israel are actively supporting and part of civilization destroying narratives for India. They control and damage the entire narrative. I don’t see any great benevolence. Infact, I find this violence even more damaging and insidious than obvious violence.
7) If you communicate with Israelis and their cohorts, even on the surface, the love that RW has for them is not reciprocated. It’s a one way street.

Net net, there is no overwhelming benefit to supporting either side.

Those who try to lecture us on moral issue are ignoring many things. Was there a single protest demonstration against ISS brutality. They demolished cities, mosques and killed thousands. NOT A SINGLE PROTEST. Why ? All the atrocities are bad unless these are not committed by Peelevers. It is high time we stand with Israel and stand firmly.

Israel has done enough for India if you look into the details of our history. Heck even the Balakot strike was successful because of Israeli bombs. Palestinians have done nothing for India.

We could learn a lot from how the Jews have dealt with a constant barrage of negatives from all over the world. They have essentially been under an existential threat of being wiped out from the day the country was born. They are only 18 million in the world and yet control so much of it.

The Ummah is largely opportunistic. Which is why they stay silent on the Uighurs in China. The Palestinians are ignored by their own Arab brethren which should tell you something.

India should always be with Israel. Although for optics we can pretend to be 'neutral'.

Its a lot more murkier than that. It is said that Rajiv Gandhi was forced to openly host Yasser Arafat and provide moral and financial support for the Palestinian cause at the behest of Sonia Gandhi and her friends. At one point Yasser Arafat was flying in India sponsored chartered planes in the 80s. The reason for Sonia's support to Palestine is because of her vatican connection and the vatican's well known hostility towards jews and the state of Israel . Remember Archbishop Capucci and Manuel Mussalam who aided and supported Palestinian terrorists including the Black September group were said to be working under the direct orders from the vatican, so there's more than just a thread which connects to Maino madam just as many threads from evangelists connects her to the LTTE.

How does one know that it was the reason without an investigation?

Without a strict punishments related to scuttling of work, it will always be easy to cause sabotage.

The real reason is lack of punishment and accountability.

Easy to "run" India with a handful of civil servants if you don't consider Indians as fellow humans. Is that what is being suggested here?

Me think it was due to prevailing Non Aligned movement at those time. We were gathering all sorts of people from around the world. Then there was special chemistry between Indira Gandhi and Arafat. Indira Ji was very much appreciated in Arab world. She was the only one who stood up to USA which Arabs love to hate.

India has been in touch with the israelis since the very early sixties. Meetings would often take place in neutral countries on defence related matters. Reportedly, the Kfir project, lock, stock and barrel was offered to India before it went to the cheenis who were very keen on it

because of vote bank politics in India, and the influence of the covertly radical gulf countries, especially of the sunni persuasion, India was forced by the commies to toe a different line publicly. This vote bank line was enforced with a vengeance by ideologically committed lefties in the MEA until one stoopide foreign secy got fired publicly for defying the Modi govt and voting on an issue in the UNGA with what this clown of a foreign secy thought was a personal vote to be used as seen fit by their leftist majesties as many foreign secys did before this happened. These scum are still around and have a voice that resonates in many "think tanks" and "universities" abroad and of course, the powerful cabal of vindictive state dept, desert cults and CIA supported FFNGOs.

It is also why so many retired MEA types have been "adjusted" in such gora think tanks and such other "deep state" institutions by the mafia famiglia and their extended tribe of BIF darbaris. It is also why so many senior retd armed forces and IAS types have chosen the path of public bootlicking to be allowed into the hallowed circles of sharab, kabab and nawab with plenty of trampoline jumping in the guise of mushairas, mehfils, and shayari sammelans on offer to those so inclined. Such horizontal dancing events are generally managed discreetly via the paki, and cheeni embassy and fronted by commission taking lootyens socialites.

It is also why senior retired and seditious R&AW types are kissing paki ass after bhadkaoing and egging on the jehadi abdullahs, the seditious hurryrats and the separatist muftis to pass resolutions of "autonomy" in the cashmeri assembly.

today, with India emerging as a new power center in the region with a proven military dominion reaching beyond the gelf and a massive emerging market with in house capabilities to grow food beyond the needs of her own populations, the gelfies have gone from contempt and derision for India to near supplication because of a fear of being cut out of investing in the massive Indian market to real anxiety in securing safe and long term food supply chains based in India

The dominant sunni gelfies have power hungry eyran and turki to contend with as well as rising cheeni and waning ameriki ambitions to factor in.

India has stayed clear of such influences and has charted a near independent path after Modi's ascendancy. The undeniably strategic implications of a friendly India to the Indo Pacific thrust of the amerikis and a regional lot of cooperating countries has underlined India's growing heft in global geopolitics and geoeconomics.

galwan, doklam and ladakh have opened many eyes in the world. The use of paki terror by such BIF has become counterproductive, given the cross border strikes that have been carried out and the studied relegation of the paki state to by India to the point of rendering it dysfunctional and seriously damaged.

The non supply of vaccines has opened the eyes of the aam abdul and ayaeha to what India has the capability to do, if provoked.

All in all, perceptions about India have changed across the region and in the many overseas gora capitals that matter.

If Modi is hamstrung or ousted, all this will revert back to the previous cancerous state in the blink of an eye.

Al it takes just one malevolent clown like pappu or someone like him to yank the rug from under India's feet and we will go straight from "valued" partnership to colonization once again, a much desired state of affairs, and one that all the BIF desire so very eagerly.

Not just American variety. Scratch the surface of any academic or media narrative and there will be diaproportionate representation. In some countries, they have been leaders in anti temple building movements in neighborhoods. They just hide their hatred a bit better.

One needs to be cautious and keep all these groups at arms distance. It’s ok to admire groups just as the Japanese did and learnt. But their is no need to have them sit in the center.

Trump demands China cough up $10 trillion for causing pandemic
WASHINGTON: Former US President Donald Trump is demanding that Beijing cough up $ 10 trillion to the world for its role in causing the coronavirus pandemic amid growing scrutiny on how much infectious disease pundit Dr Anthony Fauci knew about work being done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Asserting that he had made the "biggest bet in history" by ordering billions of dollars worth of vaccines without even realizing it would work and saved millions of lives, Trump said in a statement that "China should pay 10 trillion dollars to US & world for death & destruction they have caused."
"Now everyone, even so-called "enemy", are beginning to say that President Trump was right about China virus coming from Wuhan Lab," Trump said, as expert opinion is veering around in recent days to the virus being the handiwork of the Wuhan lab with inadvertent funding from the United States.
“There are a lot of questions that must be answered by Dr. Fauci. The funding of Wuhan by the US was foolishly started by the Obama Administration in 2014 but ended under the Trump Administration. When I heard about it, I said ‘no way.’ What did Dr. Fauci know about ‘gain of function’ research, and when did he know it?" Trump asked in a blistering attack on the man venerated in the scientific establishment but demonized by the right wing in the US.
Fauci himself has been walking the knife's edge, sometimes appearing to dismiss the idea of the virus being man-made and other times being open to it. On Thursday, in an interview to the Financial Times, he called on China to release the medical records of nine people, including several miners, whose ailments might provide clues into whether Covid-19 first emerged as the result of a lab leak.
"It is entirely conceivable that the origins of Sars-Cov-2 was in that cave and either started spreading naturally or went through the lab," Fauci said.
E-mails released this week under a freedom of information request show a lab-leak sceptic thanking Fauci for publicly stating that scientific evidence does not support the lab-leak theory, drawing the ire of Trump followers who are out to get Fauci and the US scientific establishment that treated the former President with disdain.
Tucker Carlson, a prominent right-wing tv host on Fox News, said the lab leak hypothesis from misbegotten US backed Chinese experiments was always plausible, but the theory was suppressed by US scientists concerned they would lose funding. "In short, many research scientists are addicted to tax dollars. If the public understood just how recklessly they’ve behaved — endangering the entire world with their weird little experiments in poorly relegated labs in China — the money might dry up," Carlson said.
The right-wing outrage follows disclosures reported in Vanity Fair that State Department officials were instructed "not to pursue an investigation into the origin of Covid-19" because it would "open a can of worms," and investigators were told "not to say anything that would point to the US government’s own role in gain-of-function research."

UP is one of the handful of states where BJP is lucky to have a strong local leader who can fight the elections using his brandname instead of a borrowed one from Modi , so to push him aside and to repeat the same mistake as in DL, BH, WB is suicidal. The Uttarakhand case is completely different, the state has a lengthy history of no CM completing his full term with the exception of Narayan Tiwary. That said during Dec-Feb farmers protest it was said that the BJP leaders in western UP are worried about the effect of dacoit tikait on jaat votes.

+1. UP is lucky to have one strong leader with a vision that would span more than 10-15 years of uninterrupted rule. There is absolutely no way in hell can anybody from opposition (Akkaless or Mayawati) would match the charisma of Yogi

Hindus will always itch to overthrow Hindu leaders who work for their interests and replace them with openly anti-Hindu politicians. The problem is with Hindus, not with BJP. Can anyone think that Hindus will get a better deal than Modi or Yogi? But Hindus will find something to be upset about and replace them with someone much inferior who will screw them badly because he hates their religion.

It is not that simple as you think. And it is not about Yogi ji. People do like him but administration and police have become too harsh. BJP will likely scrape through but numbers will come down. Akhilesh Yadav is gaining though.

At the end of day, success in UP elections is all about building dominant caste coalitions and that is where BJP will likely come up short. Plus most of BJP's own MLAs are seething against their own govt.

One piece of vital advice for those who care about Hindus and Hindutva. Do not depend on secular state, electoral system, political parties and democratic processes for your freedom, safety and prosperity plus all other Hindu issues. The primary reason is that an average Hindu operates on a very different wavelength politically compared to Islamics, Christians, leftists or ambedkarites. He has lot of other priorities. Another reason is that population of Hindus is rapidly falling which will make future electoral success even more difficult than it is today. In fact if you consider the actual numbers of Islamics, Christians, leftists, wokeists, khalistanis, neo Buddhists, ambedkarites etc, Hindu population is already close to 50% or even less. No point in bashing Hindus for their supposedly inferior political awareness compared to above groups, when their numbers are in constantly decreasing mode. Hinduism will be limited to UCs and segments of OBCs in large parts of India. What is true in WB, Assam and Kerala today, will be true for most of India in the near future.

There will be advantages also. Hindus will still be the largest bloc in the land. They will be far more cohesive and politically aware wrt Hindu issues compared to their ancestors. Become Hindu Tribalist. Force all the parties to cede to your demands. Above all warriorize yourselves. Ten years from now, if you are still dependent on the secular state for your safety and freedom then you are in trouble and you would have effectively lost the civilizational battle with BIF.

Regarding Yogi government. Last November I was in Buxar shortly after the Bihar election.

It's is a border district between UP and Bihar. I was having a discussion about law and order in both state's with some of the well connected people in both the states.

The impression I got was that the morale of the Bihar police was in the dumps. Whereas the morale of UP police was very high. To such an extent that people from Bihar who had even minor criminal cases against them were reluctant to enter UP from Bihar.

But the consensus was that Yogi will pay a price for that.

I did not think too much of that at that time. I guess we will see what happens.

Regarding MP and MLA's thinking of being hard done by yogi ji gov, they complain that local admin doesn't listen to them or properly take into account their inputs. Now to some extent, this complain does hold water cause its them who have to contest elections again so legit issues should be given due importance. But its equally true that many a times they try to pressurize the admin on wrong stuff too that runs counter to the focus on law and order - one hallmark of this Gov. Money making opportunities have become sparse and obviously that hurts MP, MLA and even Corporators. Admin is doing good job themselves - their screws being regularly tightened by yogi ji. He needs the backing of the BJP organization.

That is correct analysis. BJP MLAs are not happy because they are being denied money making opportunities. On this point public is with Yogi ji. However the high handedness of police and administration needs to be reined in, otherwise the common man will take out his anger on the polling day. What Yogi ji needs is a team which can control the rogue elements in his administration.
