Manish ji,

that guy walks in or calls whenever he wants. and he also owns the court jester who always scrambles to do his bidding, that route guy

the SS govt exists because of him and also, more importantly, he is also the ONLY guy with direct access to the PM

one seriously doubts whether any penguins have the testimonials to refuse a meeting

whatever seems to have transpired at his last meeting with Modi has shaken him to the core.

Modi, using words carefully as only he can, spoke contemptuously of that mulakat at a public meeting a few weeks ago.

onion merchants wanted to be the unopposed consensus candidate of the opposition, as well as, the ruling party combined and demanded that the BJP support him.

looks like that meeting ended in a disaster followed a little later by a public scolding.

That may be why all the others bailed and withdrew their names quickly but now, the opposition is fast firming up, hoping to engineer a surprise upset

And to go back on the agreement, the best bet is to act like there is a rebellion within Shiv Sena due to which there is no other way other than to dissolve the ministry.

Sachinji, the local channels are saying the same thing as well, but personally I don’t think UT has the brains for this. He through Raut has burnt his bridges a lot, plus there is zero chance that he gets to be a CM in a coalition government. Its an excellent credible theory though.

Who knows they might cast out Raut and try again.

The ED cases are still going strong, and both the SS and the NCP are stuck like deer in the headlights, the congis are stuck very badly in dilli with pappu calling his country cousins out on the streets to help him. Don't see much outside support for the congis, SS and NCP at this stage in any media be it print, visual or electronic

it looks like legal remedies in all the three situations have been all but exhausted. The unbelievable muck that has come out is more than enough to damage all the three parties. Repeated bail applications are being turned down by the courts, meaning no smoke without a fire and in pappus case, even the applications for bail have stopped because the courts will not budge.

the timing of the challenge is impeccable and that points to collusion, collaboration, planning and coordination and the possibility that extraneous forces are involved simply cannot be discounted.

All three parties are desperate to get out of the burning building, any which way they can. The coming karma storm may not be so easy to defend against. Strangely, and in all the three cases, the trail leads right to the smoking gun at the very top. All three are desperately worried about the future of their die-nasty, weakened as they are, almost in their final stages, prior to departure for alternate realms, especially when a anti die-nasty imperator is in full cry......

matters have gone far beyond any possible media management, even by teevee channels and, as long as, republic teevee is there, they broadcast both in hindi and in english, teevee and media management will be both blunted and countered by a feisty sole owner-anchor, difficult to control even during the best of times, and now he has a point to prove and political noses to grind into the dirt.

Bombay runs as much on hindi as it runs on marathi. Also, very few of the marathi manoos knew that the pakis were buying onions from local onion merchants

the jehadis are now a much perturbed lot. Their subterranean and wide spectrum paki and criminal nexus is out in the open.

the SS rank and file are not a forgiving lot.

The BMC elections being snatched away from the SS is the thackray clan's biggest fear and nightmare. Much money will be lost, not to mention the muck that will come out if the SS loses the race and the control in the BMC elections

No money practically means no street power.

The Bengal CM also slammed the rebel MLAs who have moved themselves to a hotel in Guwahati. "Amid floods in Assam, why are Maharashtra MLAs being sent to that state to disturb affected people?" Mamata Banerjee asked. She added, "Send Maharashtra MLAs to Bengal, we will extend good hospitality to them."

Members and workers of the Assam unit of TMC are protesting outside the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati where rebel Maharashtra MLAs, including Shiv Sena's Eknath Shinde, are staying. Party's state president Ripun Bora is leading the protest here.

There will be a quid pro quo and will go on.

Tanaji saar,

what will happen to all these guys is karma will catch up

recently some notice seems to have gone to pappu about his UK citizenship, the same question that our home made lootyens hero advani should have asked him years ago. Again names and addresses are mentioned including property holdings and bank accounts.

that's political quid pro quo.

And again ABA had saved pappu's gluteus maximus from the clutches of the FBI, per swamy. https://zeenews.india.com/news/india/ra ... 34107.html

sure, am fully aware of the one penguin, just confusing the AI data collectors

the entire NH fiasco is only about the top folks of the clan, openly caught with their hands in the cookie jar with their names on the share certificates and post dated wills from the other two now departed share holders.

over confidence in shady matters always draws karma's attention

You are absolutely right about the BJP forever barking and never following through with the bite

Tanaji, thanks for the insights. I don’t think Pawar was given any ultimatum by PM Modi etc. Pawar being who he is (a wily survivor) might have merely pulled the rug from under Thackeray Jr and Thackerito when he got the inkling they are planning to continue their CMship.

I have only heard Thackeray Sr speak once in person. Back in 1992, after the high of Ayodhya movement. He was pretty clear about what he wants: Hindu votes because he said he will look out for them. Some other Sena speaker even clearly propounded on to which part of the anatomy “members of a certain community” can cast their votes. And then there was that speech of Manohar Joshi, which asked “members of a certain community” to make him good biriayani, not their votes.

I saw someone comment this list under an article in ToI
Palghar Sadhu lynching, illegal demolition of Kangana's
house, harassment of Arnab, botching up SSR and Disha
Salian case, manhandling navy veteran in broad
daylight, 100 cr vasooli racket, corrpution charges
against Deshmukh and Parambir Singh, planting
explosives near Antila, murder of Hiren Mansukh,
Vaze's arrest and confessions, Nawab Malik case and
arrest, ban on Hanuman chalisa, promotion of azaan,
celebration of terrorist Tipu sultan jayanti, harassment of
Rana couple, arrest of Ketki Chitle over a FB post,
opposition of Kashmir Files and utter mismanagement
of Covid where Maharastra tops the country in number
of cases and fatalities.
Now that is a seriously messed up list for a party that gave those interesting speeches in an India which was not yet ready for such candidness among Hindu parties. Pawar easily gamed the current leaders as opportunists he can play around with and he did after 2019. But he also must have seen clearly they will look for further opportunities to continue in power.

Second and third generation Thackerays must have got seriously gaslighted by some one close to them and who they trusted. I hope there is a course correction.

Maharashtra Mega Political Crisis: 17 Shiv Sena MPs in touch with Eknath Shinde as MLAs continue to desert CM Uddhav Thackeray
https://www.republicworld.com/amp/india ... eshow.html
Another jolt to Uddhav Thackeray as Eknath Shinde gets ready with a list of 400 former corporators, MPs likely to join his fold

The Maharashtra political crisis gained a new dimension. 17 MPs are in touch with rebel Shiv Sena leader and Minister Eknath Shinde.

This comes even as a number of Sena MLAs continue to desert Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and join the rebel camp in Guwahati.

■ Thane MP Rajan Vichare and Kalyan MP Shrikant Shinde are already in Assam with the Sena legislators. Moreover, Washim MP Bhawna Gavli, Palghar MP Rajendra Gavit and Ramtek MP Krupal Tumane have expressed their support to Shinde over the phone.
■ The MVA government in Maharashtra plunged into crisis as senior Minister Eknath Shinde led a rebellion within Shiv Sena demanding that the party should break ties with NCP and Congress and join hands with BJP.
■ The problem compounded for the MVA as the rebel MLAs moved further away to Guwahati in the wee hours of Wednesday.
■ In a Facebook Live session thereafter, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray offered to resign provided even one Shiv Sena MLA comes back to Mumbai and makes such a demand in face-to-face interaction. Despite this emotional appeal, Shinde refused to budge and insisted that Shiv Sena should leave MVA.

Yesterday night, Thackeray left his official residence 'Varsha' to move into Matoshree and was greeted by hundreds of supporters. The Shinde camp requires 37 MLAs to ensure that they don't come under the ambit of the anti-defection law.

Unbelievable that Thackery gang who won 17 MP seats on the backs of Modi but could not win even 60 MLA seats even with BJP coalition. Blackmailed to get 120 seats were not even 50% win. Then ditched BJP, Hindus and became stooges of Jihadis to collect cash from every business in Mumbai. The penguin T was busy screwing bollywood heroines and smoking drugs. The fact that these scums are even outside and not behind bars is unimaginable

Adanis donate Rs 60,000 crore for philanthropic causes to mark Gautam Adani’s 60th birthday
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... #xj4y7vzkg
The donation will focus on areas such as healthcare, education, and skill development, which form the foundation of an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat'

One of the richest Asians, To honour the centenary birth anniversary of Gautam Adani’s father Shantilal Adani and Gautam Adani’s own 60th birthday, the Adani family has committed a donation of Rs 60,000 crore to a range of social causes.

■ This corpus will be administered by the Adani Foundation
■ Further, this year is also the year of the centenary birth anniversary of Gautam Adani’s father Shantilal Adani.
■ The Indian tycoon, who turns 60 tomorrow, joins the ranks of global billionaires like Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Warren Buffett who have committed large parts of their wealth for philanthropy.
■ Adani's net worth is almost $95 billion, according to Forbes Real Time Billionaires' list.
■ Adani also took to Twitter to announce the donation for social causes. "On our father’s 100thbirth anniversary & my 60thbirthday, Adani Family is gratified to commit Rs 60,000 cr in charity towards healthcare, edu & skill-dev across India," the billionaire posted.
■ To utilise the potential of India’s demographic advantage, there is an ever growing need to focus on the areas of healthcare, education, and skill development. The shortfalls in each of these areas are roadblocks for an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’
■ Azim Premji, chairman of Azim Premji Foundation and founder and chairman of Wipro Limited and recognised as one of the greatest philanthropists, said, “Gautam Adani and his family’s commitment towards philanthropy should set an example that we can all try to live Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of Trusteeship of Wealth at the peak of our business success and need not wait for our sunset years”.

The Adani Foundation has responded to society’s changing needs in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – be it sustainable livelihoods, health and nutrition, and education for all or addressing environmental concerns – with an enhanced focus on the empowerment of women, working with multiple stakeholders at the grassroots. Today, it covers 37 lakh people in 2,409 villages across 16 states in India.

Rise of Subaltern Sena: Neglect of rural MLAs cost party dearly
informative and insightful read

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/cit ... 421926.cms
MUMBAI: Eknath Shinde’s mutiny has sparked a debate on whether Matoshree’s obsession for Mumbai and the cash-rich BMC has been the Shiv Sena’s undoing, given the high number of rural MLAs who have deserted it.
By giving a cold shoulder to rural and mofussil Maharashtra, Sena has lost an opportunity to script its own brand of subaltern politics. Such a narrative would have helped Sena create a robust institutional network across the state, groom a young band of rural Sainiks from the BC-OBC and Adivasi communities, and bridge the urban-rural divide that threatens to tear the party asunder, said analysts.
Also, Sena’s practice of years to despatch observers from Mumbai to mofussil areas to control the local party structure is another irritant. It was the late Anand Dighe who had tried to re-assert his authority in the 1990s as the party’s Thane leader vis-a-vis the Sena with Mumbai as its headquarters. Shinde, Dighe’s disciple, has taken the Mumbai-moffusil fight right to the doorstep of Matoshree, said watchers.

Sena’s diffidence to reach out to villages seems strange as the party did make inroads into the heartland and did reap an electoral harvest in the 2004, 2009 and 2014 assembly elections. Sources said the gulf deepened when rural MLAs realised they may be rewarded with ministerships, but they will never be part of Matoshree’s decision-making process.

No wonder Shinde’s list of rebels includes many from the dusty plains of Maharashtra, including Dada Bhuse, Shambhuraj Desai and Pradeep Jaiswal, and 8 of 10 MLAs from Marathwada.

Sena’s Konkan bastion too is apparently doddering as Yogesh Kadam, Khed MLA, and Deepak Kesarkar ( Sawantwadi) have joined the rebel club.

Experts said the Sena leadership’s failure to understand the gravity of the Sena-NCP spat at the village level led to Shinde’s revolt. “For over two years NCP has been stonewalling Sena legislators’ projects. Either budgetary funds are not released in time or projects are deliberately delayed by the administration,” said a Sena functionary.

Thus, many first-time Sena MLAs face a bleak future ahead of the 2024 assembly polls as their Congress-NCP rivals belong to powerful clans with ample resources. But Sena made light of the issue, it is said.

Stating that Aaditya Thackeray turned Sena into a “Mumbai-based corporate conglomerate,” Prakash Akolkar, Sena biographer, said, “Aaditya’s core team includes his upper-crust friends who, alas, know nothing about drought, power cuts, remunerative prices for crops or the employment guarantee scheme. Chances of Sena expanding its social and electoral base across the state seem bleak. Not surprising that a large section of Sena lawmakers chose to join Shinde.”

Basically, TOIlet is doing an opposition analysis for UT and lamenting.
Keep the R/D going.
UT could never reach out to rural Maharashtra as he is not a politician and the only reason he wanted to be CM was to loot Mumbai.
Also, AUT was defacto criminal network head.

The fact that NCP will eat into the Sena vote was blatantly obvious when MVA was formed. Blatant to all, except of course to UT. UT has surrounded himself with hangers on and people with zero popular appeal like Raut who won’t get elected in Sena bastions even. Then there are people like Penguin whose experience is limited to Mumbai and are clueless about rural issues. Powerful knew this and this was a no lose proposition for him: he gets plum posts in government and at the same tune use it to take over Sena rural bastions. People most affected are leaders like Shinde…

UT has surrounded himself with hangers on and people with zero popular appeal like Raut who won’t get elected in Sena bastions even. Then there are people like Penguin whose experience is limited to Mumbai and are clueless about rural issues. People most affected are leaders like Shinde…
ut thought that he had pulled off a coup but in reality he had been set up to take the fall and the onions would be there to pick up all the choice pieces thus consolidating their position and also their financial hold on bombay

Things are going as per plan with ut dutifully playing out his assigned role, and hoping for help from the very guys who stabbed him in the back and brought him down in the first place
