Statesman-syndrome strikes again. PM Modi tells his cadre to stand in front of a Church on Sundays and reach-out to them, even if they will not vote for his party. How touching!

Exactly the kind of mixed-messaging that his cadres need with 9 + 1 elections coming up.

Can't utter a word on the killing of foot-soldiers in WB, can't find time for the ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Muslim majority districts, need a millionth extension to frame CAA rules, not a drop of tear for women chopped to pieces by their Abduls - but hey, he has the time to rebuke right-wingers for protesting against Pathaan (not kidding - he actually made a reference to this in his speech)!

Yet, we have no choice but to vote for him in 2024, because the alternative is too scary. The replacement to Modi must come from the right of BJP. Far to its right.

Chetakji and Cyranoji
I think CAA/Shaheen Bagh/Farmer agitation did not cut muster as far as the inimical forces are concerned.
Hence the Yatra and even that seems to be going south every day given the inherent attacks of 'Verbal Diarrhoea' that the Janeevudhari suffers from!!
Even the China bogey seems to be dying down given their raising number of covid deaths
So lets check what's left:
a. Judicial independence vs Law Bill
b. Religious Freedom vs Kashi/Mathura
c. Dravidian bogey(now that Sen has started open call moi thinks KH statements after PSL movie should not be taken in isolation)
d. Dialogue with Paxatan vs Nuclear bogey if that state fails
e. we have not taken much notice of the caste census in Bihar and how that will impact elsewhere
KCR seems to be jumping the gun by inviting the 4 Ronins for his meet
Probably this is another stumbling block for BIF's how to unite the 'Un-Unitables'!!!

My Wishlist for 2023 is as follows:

Top 3 measures for Dharmic Civilisational Agenda:
1. Free temples from Govt control. Frame code of conduct, activity and revenue declaration requirements, disclosure and audit procedures by forming a focus group drawing from hindu religious heads and eminent personalties with impeccable credentials. Impose a reasonable tax on temple revenues beyond certain level - they consume govt services after all and I see no problem contributing). This can also be done without govt impetus but I think its everybody's therefore nobody's problem. Will only improve selection chances for 2024.

This can also be done by introducing a truly secular "religious institutions bill" that will do away with the ridiculous wakf act and other skewed legislations and replace it with the above to cover all faiths, killing many birds at once - if the govt has the guts. But I'm OK to wait for it in the 3rd term.

2. Comprehensive review and update of school curricula to remove colonial and RoP/RoL disinformation. Introduce heritage discovery and experience tours. Our education budgets are pathetic and state level quality is often abysmal.

3. Create Heritage technical schools to conserve our civilisational body of technical knowledge in so many areas - metallurgy, agriculture, animal husbandry, arts and crafts like weaving, printing & dyeing, pottery, construction and so on. These have suffered immensely in the past few decades due to the onslaught of western consumerism which inevitably comes with increasing prosperity. There is money to be made here in copyrighting branding and producing high quality stuff and exporting it worldwide. Europeans, especially France do a splendid job of this. Like 1 district 1 product in UP, we need 1 district 1 traditional art/craft as well.

Top 3 other measures:
1. Defense techs of national importance like aero engines, turbines, semi conductors etc must be given required budgets and driven in mission mode. We cant hang on to such critical dependencies as sanctions on Russia have shown. Increase production of missiles, munitions and equipment to stockpile.

2. Bill to reform state finances and curb wasteful spending, corruption and freebies. All the good being done at the center is being eaten away by states. Make fiscal impropriety a criminal offense.

3. Increase ED & NIA budgets 10x to go after corrupt politicians and their objective must be based on convictions obtained. Ongoing corruption is the life blood for BIFs and their courage comes from the very low probability of being caught and next to zero chances of sentencing.

Reforming Police and bureaucracy are very important, overdue items but its too late to start this with upcoming elections. They can unite to make the govt lose. Better take up in 3rd term. No need to put in manifesto, jut do it.

CAA - big disappointment. But all of India seems to have moved on... When illegal Rohingyas are thriving in every corner of India, what is stopping these refugees one may ask. Dunno how relevant or required this is now, but the govt leaving the job half done is a bad sign.

NRC: Very important. But too late now. In 3rd term.

I'll think over what I'd like to see in 2024 manifesto and post about it in a few months. We are still almost a year away. Lot of things can happen until then.

He just told them to get the BJP message across to all communities and remind them of the benefits they got (or are missing) ahead of the elections. Whether Xmen, Sikhs, etc. If that means meeting people at their religious places where they congregate, why the hell not ? Or if there is a better way, I am sure the "cadre" will figure it out. Does it mean the cadre will be spending all their time doing that ? The BJP is not diluting or changing its own agenda, and has not done so either in 2014 nor in 2019.

Without outreach, you can never pull in votes from places that traditionally don't vote for you. The vote will go wholesale to the opposition with no contest. The message was basically to reach out instead of writing it off. Nothing different from last two elections.

Please do not try to twist statements to suit your "vote for Modi only because there is no other choice" narrative.

His handlers have told him that Tiranga@lalchowk can hurt him because the pissfools will be unhappy

so, ungil pappu has promptly come up with an excuse to keep his voters elated

@ARanganathan72·22h

On August 15, 1947, Mountbatten told Nehru to not lower the Union Jack because it would make him unhappy. Nehru agreed. The British flag wasn’t even lowered on our Independence Day.

75 years later, Congress refuses to unfurl the Tiranga at Lal Chowk claiming it is RSS' agenda.

Speech should be remembered for identifying and highlighting the fault lines, If you read the article title(which is near to reality as articles from other news portals are misleading), He asked to approach the marginalized people in all communities and not specific to minorities. If marginalized vote based on benefits received by them then '24 will be creating history.

Nothing wrong in what Modiji has suggested. Lets not forget, Congoons need just about 100 LS seats (and change) to get back to power, where-as BJP needs a brute majority (275+). Modiji is covering all the bases, and especially when the BJP+RSS cadre is numerically high in number then why not have them deployed at every nook and corner of minority areas?

Yes.

As usual, Pradeep Singh hits the nail on the head with this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF_b1i6uStM

His steady stream of short, sharp analytical videos quickly get to the depth and crux of every important political issue.

In addition to obviously getting the usual core voters to come out and vote, it is important to give the opposition a real headache by targeting their vote banks as well.

Sure, BJP will never get a huge chunk of some votebanks (like greens and X-men), but even that little bit of vote being swayed/siphoned off will often mean nightmares or curtains for the opposition candidates that are counting on some kind of "arithmetic".

Such is the game that Shah and Modi have set up and implemented relentlessly over the years. Slowly and steadily the non-yadav OBCs, non-jatav SCs, STs votes were taken away from the opposition...this process naturally extends to others now.

As I mentioned several times before, this process has already laid waste many "family business"/"one-man business" corruption-ridden parties. Pradeep has recently rounded up the latest on this with a specific analysis of 9 parties: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT-m4bYZFqI

vijayk ji,

nram feeds into the congi commie networks and runs interference for their agenda by providing cover fire as and when needed and auntie haidar has a malsi agenda and is BIF backgrounded with jehadi supporters while nram is well funded by full page ads from the cheeni embassy or other iceberg entities. He is tied to the evil bunch running the anti India agenda out of harvard and other such places including jehadis and wokes in columbia.

there is the small matter of an MOU with an enemy country that has yet to be explained by the foreigners who signed it

haidars, kursheeds and ansaris are known congi lapdogs and BIF stooges and the congi ecosystem has always supported such people since even before independence. that gasbag nram is prominent here. mount street mao is part of this ecosystem

imagine jehadis becoming home and foreign ministers ,like the cashmeri lot of jokers and foreign secretary with the widest array of state and defence related classified info being available at their beck and call.

and here is your "neutral" media and it's only a part of the BIF ecosystem that has been funded by any and every type of rascal/organization/FFNGO/padre/mullah/commies and western academia

in telugu ... Here is summary

Pappu's BJY has been attacking. BJP/RSS on Rama/Sita (Jai Sree Ram), Har Har mahadev, Pujari vs Tapasvi, and Congress repeatedly blames BJP for criticizing his kissing of Priyanka with sexual connotations. The video says this is all planned and Pappu has been following the model of an Italian communist leader Antonio Gramsci
Gramsci is best known for his theory of cultural hegemony, which describes how the state and ruling capitalist class – the bourgeoisie – use cultural institutions to maintain power in capitalist societies. The bourgeoisie, in Gramsci's view, develops a hegemonic culture using ideology, rather than violence, economic force, or coercion. Hegemonic culture propagates its own values and norms so that they become the "common sense" values of all and thus maintain the status quo. Cultural hegemony is therefore used to maintain consent to the capitalist order, rather than the use of force to maintain order. This cultural hegemony is produced and reproduced by the dominant class through the institutions that form the superstructure.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Gramsci

Basically Pappu thinks he has to break Hindu cultural ethos and use this narrative to sow the seeds of doubt among Hindus

Kashmiri Muslims come from the same stock and are known to be quite docile. Dogras from Jammu ruled them for long time and you wont' have heard of any battle where Kashmiri Muslims have shown resistance or have fought invaders

What has changed in last 20 years is that same Muslims are now taking on Indian Army in the valley aggressively, especially the young generation. I was in Jammu few years ago and asked the taxi driver (an old fella) on the changes he has seen in the valley over past 20-30 years. He remarked that Kashmiri Muslims turning so bold was not what he expected to see in his lifetime.

my point is that Hindus can change in a generation too if they are empowered or enlightened to take things in their own hands. There is no genetics in this.

and why does it bother the congis/commies so much even today, when everything has already been done and dusted and the results are all there for anyone to see
My take:

Demonetization was necessary due to pak counterfeitjng at scale

It caused unavoidable difficulties for people

Real benefit of demonetization (stopping at-scale counterfeiting) can’t be talked about because it will kill confidence in currency and hit the economy

Adds up to an opportunity to colonialist opposition (which includes SC) to weaponize demonetization in its war against bharat

Do you really think there is such a thing as “genetically incapable of fighting?” It is just white British racist “martial races” theory.

There are historical and psychological reasons why people from particular cultural segments may not fight.

Please don’t propagate the same demeaning & wrong concepts that the colonialists put into our heads.

Agreed. SanjayC, if you want to peddle this nonsense denigrating the entire KP community you can do so elsewhere. Not on BRF.

OK. Let us rephrase that to "temperamentally incapable" (as they are currently - unless you think they gave a sporting fight to save themselves). There is no need to use that as an excuse to ride the high horse of virtue signaling and breathe fire.

All communities develop certain traits that define them. A retired BSF officer told me last week: "The problem is that Hindus are greedy. They are subverted with money. This is a weakness that enemies exploit." I did not breathe fire on him for "tarnishing an entire community," but understood his message based on his long experience. In a recent Jaipur Dialogues panel discussion, a perceptive panelist said: "Hindus have two weaknesses: Greed and guilt." Nobody breathed fire on him for "tarnishing the entire community." It is common to talk like this when you observe some traits commonly seen in some community. Virtue signaling is crap.

Rsatchi ji,

they are all just testing the waters and freeloading on KCR's taxpayer funded "hospitality".

this is an ambitious bunch with each of these toothless tiger focussed on the main prize and no one will not give an inch (unless bought off).

that silly cowboy hat makes him look like a traffic cop in another state eagerly waiting to fleece his next victim
