That's already true today (gov instead of religious heads) and will be true even if temples are left to be administered by individual sects. Also politicians don't control churches/mosques so why do you think they'll eventually gain control of temples when they're freed?

Actually that's another argument in favor of a centralized administration. Any local mla/ips babus would have no issue forcefully "controlling" a temple citing any imaginary violation. That wouldn't be possible with a centralized administration.

Under 'secular' sarkars, we have non-Hindus sitting on temple boards leeching away devotee donations, and other temple assets (land, jewellery, you name it). And then non-H again (cryptos) abusing reservation benefits meant for Hs alone. Reason, anyone can claim to be a [cultural] yindoo in this pious land, it turns out. Sice who can claim to be H (and importantly, who is non-H) is ill-defined in desi law.

GoI must codify into law the basic Q of 'who' is Hindu. To do that, need to first codify 'what' is Hinduism.

SC already has some half-thought grandiose verdict out back in the 90s saying 'Hinduism is NOT a religion but a way of life' or some such.

Recent events like at Rutgers and at Oxford also suggest that unless Hindu peoples are first defined in law, they won't be able to access protections available to religious groups both at home and abroad.

Temples and all are not an end-all but a way-station along the way to a world where Hinduism not only survives but also flourishes only.

Only.

https://swatantramag.com/who-will-manag ... overnment/
Who will manage the Temples after the exit of Secular Government?
Management of temples is different from management of properties of temples. Where some of the major temples have extensive properties, which are beyond the need of the temple & local community (for festivals, staff quarters, any schools, colleges, mandapams, hospitals etc.), the extra properties from various temples can be pooled to form a Hindu temple estate department in every district – where the duty of such department shall be to realize proper income from these real estate properties. Said income, net off expenses, shall be transferred to the respective temples. A portion of excess income over expenditure shall be set aside for poorer temples belonging to same sampradaya first and other local temples after that. Another portion of excess income can be pooled together with the estate department to set up district level facilities and institutions for Hindus (like medical colleges, classical music and dance colleges, folk art schools, shilpa schools etc.).

To ensure that there is transparency in management of funds, all temples with income of more than INR 25 Lakhs as well as every estate department & institutions run by them shall be subject to propriety audit. All institutions shall be subject to audit wherever applicable under the Income Tax rules and the annual accounts shall be made public. There is no transparency in the current form of management by government departments. We can make the temple committees open to review by public through publishing of financial accounts and audit reports.

Finally, the reason for insistence on sampradaya administration of temples needs to be understood by everyone. Hinduism has multiple sampradayas and each is distinct from another. Every sampradaya temple is meant to be a place of worship for that particular sampradaya where others can join as common worshippers but the temple shall belong to the sampradaya. These temples are the primary venues through which the rituals and the practices of the sampradaya are passed on from generation to generation. As such, the assets of the temples shall be used primarily for the purpose of said sampradaya wherever possible. When temples are taken over by local Hindus at large, there is always a fear of dominant sampradayas/communities running roughshod over the other sampradayas/communities which may even involve transfer of funds from one institution to another as well as attacks on any rituals which maybe abhorred by other sampradaya (like animal sacrifice). Where there are no dominant sampradayas, every managing committee shall become a hung assembly like institution which shall only lead to chaos and not proper management. On the other hand, where the temple is managed by people of the same sampradaya, none of these problems occur. Moreover, any transfer of funds to other sampradaya institutions will also not be seen as a case of high-handed behavior but as a case of community helping one another. In case of temples under private sampradaya management, such support to other sampradayas have always been seen in the past as well as present. There is no need to create unnecessary friction or fear that sampradaya managed temples will lead to Hindu disunity. We certainly do not want a situation where a BAPS Swaminarayan temple has a vamamargi shakta as trustee or a Shakta temple with pashubali being foisted with a Gaudiya vaishnava trustee or even worse, a non-believing neo-liberal being made a trustee of any sampradaya temple. It is absolutely clear that the proponents of sampradaya-free management have no idea about what they are asking for. It is better to ignore and abandon any such nonsensical and whimsical ideas that do not provide solutions but only create the illusion of coherence by taking a faux moral high ground.

Varanasi court allows excavation by ASI at Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Gyanvapi Masjid

A Varanasi court has ruled in favor of excavation by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the adjacent Gyanvapi Masjid. The ASI is likely to set up a five-member team that will visit the campus soon.

A petition was filed in December 2019 by advocate Vijay Shankar Rastogi on behalf of Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Bhagwan Vishweshwar in the court of civil judge. The petitioner requested for a survey of the entire Gyanvapi compound by the ASI. He had filed the petition as the 'next friend' of Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Bhagwan Vishweshwar. In January 2020, Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee had filed an objection against the petition.

The petitioner had contended that the Kashi Vishwanath temple was built by Maharaja Vikramaditya about 2,050 years ago, but Mughal emperor Aurangzeb destroyed the temple in 1664 and used its remains to construct a mosque, which is known as Gyanvapi masjid, on a portion of the temple land. The petitioner requested the court to issue directions for the removal of the mosque from the temple land and give back its possession to the temple trust.
This should be an easy open&shut case. Should certainly be easier than RJB

Amarinder Vs Goyal On Direct Payments To Farmers: In No Possible Scenario Do The Arhatiyas Gain Anything
As the adoption of PFMS became mandatory, the central government started following up with all its departments to ensure compliance. It was in this context that agriculture procurement by the central government was sought to be included under PFMS, where the money is transferred directly in the account of the farmers selling their crops under the MSP regime.

Most states have their own procurement portals, with online payments to farmers going as far back as 2014-15 in Andhra Pradesh and 2015-16 for Bihar, Rajasthan and Telangana.

Many states have already integrated their land records for validation with the procurement portals. Even where such integration was not made, states put in place processes to validate land records before the farmers were paid.

Punjab remained an exception all along to this process.

Punjab pays its farmers through the arhatiyas — the middlemen who facilitate the purchase and sale of agriculture produce in the mandis.

The state agencies procure wheat and paddy on behalf of the Food Corporation of India (FCI), the nodal central agency for procurement. The FCI pays respective commissions to state agencies and arhatiyas and the MSP to the farmers, except in Punjab, where the farmer payments are made by arhatiyas.

Even this leg of payments is electronic and the use of cash and cheques continues.

Late Minister Paswan reminded the Punjab government of facilitating online payments to the farmers in June 2020 again. However, given the Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry released part commissions of the arhatiyas as an exceptional measure, with the expectation that the farmer payments will be brought online.

In this background, when the CAFPD Minister, Piyush Goyal, wrote to the Punjab government about implementing the online integration, it was neither a new expectation, nor an unreasonable one

The post-election violence in Kannur Kerala by Indian Muslim League cadres on CPI-M commies proves that it is never wise to keep snakes as pets. United in their hatred for Hindus, the commies for decades pandered to islamists , and now that the islamists are enough in numbers they are lynching the commies . If it isnt already, Kerala will prove to be a huge security nightmare for India in the years to come.

Our "health journalists" and "intellectuals" still can't understand that at this stage vaccination is to save lives, not to prevent the spread of the disease, hence not opened to 18+

the maha vinash aghadi is putting into play, the long prepared plan of blaming Modi for the failure of MAH to control the COVID spread

the NCP however may play spoil sport to this jointly hatched plan in an attempt to curry favor at the center because of the blowback of the parambir singh revelations, especially after the SC has declined to interfere in the Bombay HC order and hizzonners provided no relief for former HM Anil Deshmukh who was forced to resign.

A bigger problem is looming large for all three of the maha vinash aghadi: Along with Anil Deshmukh, the CBI is also going to do inquiries on Anil Parab and Ajit Pawar, both of whom are mentioned in the Waze letter.

The maha vinash aghadi may soon become the maha visarjan aghadi.

Also, many minorities have flatly refused to get vaccinated, come what may, and they are being supported by liberandu vote bankers from among the MVA itself

For the mathematically oriented ::
0. Population above 45 ~ 330m
1. India started with a stockpile of around 100m doses in Jan 2021.
2. Production capacity till End of June 2021 is 66m* 6 = 396m doses
3. Exported under grants and IP obligations - 80m doses 1/2

4. Consumed till now ~ 90m doses
5. Availability till June ~ 326m doses
6. India can vaccinate 4m/day without any additional capacity or new approvals.
7. Double vaccinated target till June ~ 205m population/410m doses
8. CFR >45yrs is 2.86%, <45 is .29%

Prioritisation is key. 2/2

There is a saying in Malayalam - Exchange loin cloth, for a blanket . That is what happened to the commies this time around. They hacked to death a Muslim League worker and triggered the violence. What happened is the massive retaliation with commies getting a solid drubbing. Their 'holy places' like road side memorials and statues for 'idol worship' was all put to fire :). This incident is also a proof that whether be it IUML, SDPI or PFI; the common thread of Islamism runs through all of them and can also unite them when and where required. The commies realised it a couple of days back. Other sensible people knew this much before.

Centre Firm On Direct Money Transfer To Farmers In Punjab, Rejects State Govt's Demand To Route MSP Payment Through Arhtiyas. Amarinder Singh seems to be desperate to keep the Arhtiyas gang going on, as perhaps they are biggest financiers of all political parties in Punjab.

amarinder is playing with the wrong guys.

the center said that the other option available to it was to stop procurement from punjab

The center has started sending payments directly to the farmer's accounts from 1st April, despite strong opposition by arhtiyas and middlemen associations.

The BJP has little future in punjab anyway because no other than a jat sikh has occupied the CM's chair.

Best to decisively break the back of such unholy nexuses of politicos with arhtiyas and middlemen in a strategic and sensitive border state like panjab now rather than cave in and let some paki pasand khalistani like siddhu or worse lead them by the nose

this is why the India made vaccines allegedly have suddenly become scarce and in short supply and the Modi govt is unable to cope with the demand of states which have "run out of vaccine stocks"

trust the amerikis to look at everything through the lens of only money, because, after all, "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence." and that requires a plentiful supply of greenbacks.

look at these tweets of some of the anti Hindu and notorious minority wokes who are pushing for specific vaccines from ameriki companies

BTW, Tehseen Poonawalla is related to the mafia family through vadra.

What I can’t figure is this mindset. The govt won’t allow free sale of the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines which the world is using. Let those who can afford them, take them instead of forcing them to take what’s free. Let those who can pay, pay for what they want.

This has huge political and economic implications. Punjab will make direct payments to farmers for wheat procured by FCI. But the wily land owning ruling class will find a way to protect arthritis commission and also recovery of private loans given to farmers.

They may soon have another thing to worry about - Spurt in Covid-like symptoms at Singhu, farmers not keen on tests
The farmers protesting at Singhu border since November last year visited the medical kiosks there mostly for help with stomach ailments and recently from heatstroke. But more lately, an increasing number of people are going to the volunteer doctors with complaints of fever, cough and other symptoms often associated with the Covid-19 infection. While a few doctors feared these could indeed be coronavirus cases, there is no way to make sure because no tests are carried out at the protest site.

Parikshit Malik, a doctor from Sonipat working at the new hospital, elaborated on why tests may only annoy the protesters. “The farmers oppose Covid tests because they don’t want it to become the reason for their dispersal from the area,” Malik explained. “In any case, to show their anger at the government, the farmers aren’t keen on masks either. The hospital staff keep urging people come here for treatment not to ignore such precautions, but not many are keen about even getting themselves vaccinated.”

These are the kind of odd stats that aren't reaching to normal public for various backward states. This was the same case with J&K where most of the India didn't know what's going on. Once they knew, they didn't mind even if army took over whole J&K if required to go and help Valmikis.

MH voters should remember what happens when you use stupidity like manus to vote. Your enable penguins and jaichands. Tell that to manus next time you see it.

No money for vaccines but money for everything else. Time to thok anything and everything associated with thackerays, pawar, congress, etc. Will MH voters do it? In the past MH voters suicided farmers to keep pawar in power instead of kicking NCP out of political scene so chances are pretty low that IQ level of MH voters have increased.

trust the amerikis to look at everything through the lens of only money, because, after all, "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence." and that requires a plentiful supply of greenbacks.

look at these tweets of some of the anti Hindu and notorious minority wokes who are pushing for specific vaccines from ameriki companies

Tehseen Poonawalla is 38 years old . Even in most parts of the US, she would not be eligible to be vaccinated now , same as in India . Nandy can go get his vaccine right now - he’s old enough . Has he got his shot yet ?

This is the primary reason why vaccines in MAH are being hoarded / diverted

vasooli has now been made an essential service

It has already accommodated a lot of the under 45s
