I am born cynic; and with that I can say the entire film industry in India (be it any Dhillons, Kumars, Kapoors) have no sense of Indian-ness them. Nautanki is what they are trained to do, and that is what they will do all their life. Every one out there is to make money, and have no qualms in exploiting people's emotions to their benefit (and that also includes the emotion of patriotism).
Unfortunately many people look up to these kidas ...

Well, it seems like Maulana Salman Nadwi has back-tracked on the "ban PFI" resolution taken at the inter-faith meeting. He has even praised the PFI, compared it to RSS etc.

Ball is in Ajit Doval's court. Saam, dhaan, bhedh, dand ....

I feel if Dovel had talked to road side abdul pancharwala would be much better. He is more bothered about life & india than these Sufi. More over what stand does these sufi have on barelvi PFI? Sufi's are kafir as per Baralvi and PFI is more barelvi.
My fear has come true.
Anand Ranganathan @ARanganathan72
Couple of days ago this very same maulana was bear-hugging NSA Ajit Doval and shaking his hands animatedly at the Inter faith religious unity meet and asking for the PFI to be banned. Now he says the exact opposite, praises PFI, even compares it with RSS
Astonishing. Does @PMOIndia not carry out a simple background check before allowing such dangerous elements to meet with the NSA?
Turns out this man, Salman Nadwi, had congratulated Al Baghdadi on becoming a caliph and even expressed his excitement at the establishment of ISIS
I am still not able to understand AD doing this so openly. If Gov wanted to break peace between comunity they could have used some politicians or atleast in covert way using AD. Why so much openly doing it.

How do we know what has happened, beyond what is said in press?

What we know is - NSA asked religious leaders to go beyond condemning.
For all we know their leaders may be handing over details of PFI workers in the background, while saying don't ban PFI in a press conference!
NSA has enough levers to put pressure.

It may also happen that pressures may not work.
And some other means need to applied.

But, what we do know, govt is doing something. Criticism is premature at this stage.

Its a well thought-out, sinister demographic invasion. Center needs to come up with a very sophisticated tracking down of their documents, and where/how they were forged or obtained. Giving out the keys to outsiders should have a heavy punishment. More importantly, and to begin with , GoI need to recognize this as national security threat at an official level.

But is that even realistic. Damage is into crores of people invaded. Deportation is impossible. Just give them work permits and disenfranchise them. This will shut up all human rights whining at the same time it will defang their electoral influences.

Maybe the solution is not just to remove infected cells but to deinfect the cells themselves.

In order to do so, it is imperative to expose the hollowness, perversion and moral depravity of the ideology and it's originators.. It has to become an object of ridicule and derision, thereby making the followers ashamed to follow it, or reject it outright.

There is a reason the whole world goes up in arms with even a hint of exposure of the ideology. They are afraid of the disinfecting powers of sunlight

Upon reading the judgements/representations of upcoming CJI U U Lalit (Ayodhya lawyer etc), he seems more favorable to Dharmic causes than either the incumbent or the nightmare that awaits us in November.

Hopefully, in the less than 3 months he serves, Modi sarkar can push some things through

Recently Konda Vishveshwar Reddy, ex TRS and ex congress, joined BJP. He is the husband of one of the daughters of the chairman of Appollo Hospitals. Money bags. Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy resigned as congress mla and is expected to join BJP. His brother is also a congress MP. Both made some disgruntled noises against congress right after 2019 lok sabha elections. I think BJP cross voted in last assembly elections to make sure congress loses. Its the same strategy employed in WB. Cross vote and make TMC win till the communists are not a force anymore. It did the same with CBN in AP.

Telangana congress chief Revanth Reddy is a fool. He was in ABVP along with Kishan Reddy. But when BJP had a truck with TDP during NDA1 instead of going it alone and developing the party in the then combined AP, he left. He should have been patient. He then joined TDP and left it as TDP has no chance in telangana. Even after he left TDP, he should have joined BJP, but went to congress instead. I guess, he will eventually have to join BJP.

^^ above really reeks of career politicians and not really committed to an ideology - will work in short term but will not survive long without a committed ideology. IIRC, the same set of people who were bitterly opposed to each other, came asking for votes as a group and were asked by the mango telugu people "what happened in past 3 years? you were fighting before and are now friends?"

I think BJP is getting stronger in TG and AP but agree that taking these steps and hasten the fall of the local (in the literal and figurative speech) parties.

Revanth Reddy did try to make it to BJP but because of that Anglo Indian MLA bribery case in which he is A1 or A2 was too hot for Amit Shah to handle and he then went to congress.

Jones, a prominent figure in American right-wing circles and a supporter of former President Donald Trump, had called the Sandy Hook massacre a U.S. government hoax staged using crisis actors to serve as a pretext for taking away Americans' guns.
People spreading lies purposefully should be fined like this...

https://www.reuters.com/business/media- ... 022-08-05/
U.S. conspiracy theorist Alex Jones must pay the parents of a 6-year-old boy killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre $45.2 million in punitive damages - on top of $4.1 million in compensatory damages already awarded - for falsely claiming the shooting was a hoax, a Texas jury decided on Friday.

I posted about both Konda VR and Komatireddy bros a few months back. Things are moving rapidly in TG and if they go as planned, this will be a major shot in the arm for BJP.

- Revanth Reddy as PCC chief, is undoubtedly ruining the party. Don't think he is a fool, but extremely selfish and insecure. He is trying to establish himself as the sole CM candidate of congress party and getting rid of his opponents to wipe out all "potential" opposition to his leadership, and has silently targeted Komatireddy bros to remove his competition. Hope he never joins BJP or that BJP leadership shouldn't be foolish enough to let him join, as he is prone to corruption and groupism of the worst type.

- Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, the younger of the two KR bros, has resigned congress, has met Amit Shah and confirmed he will be joining BJP by end of this month. Apparently these bros, are genuine mass leaders, who have helped thousands of folks from their own constituency. They are contractors and have massive personal wealth.

- If both Komatireddy bros leave congress, its not just 1 MLA and 1 MP but their political followers dozens of MPTC & ZPTC folks will leave along w/ tens of thousands of their followers. Especially, if the older brother leaves, another of his close friend & senior congress MLA Jagga Reddy will also likely leave- thereby wiping out congress from that district.

- There are also reports that ST voter heavy districts of Warangal & Khammam, where BJP has no base or organization in place are reporting anger among tribal voters against both TRS & Congress for not supporting Draupadi Murmu. Some key TRS leaders are weighing their options to switch sides to BJP.

All in all, win-win for BJP in its south/east-TG expansion into Nalgonda & other leftist bastions. Komatireddy Jr's win will pave the way for BJP's entry into that region.

This concept of punitive damages, which is 10X actual damages is what is sorely needed in India. The punitive damages are the deterrent. Bulldozers are a good start but we need to go much further. Stone-pelting, arson, attacking the police etc must result in:

1) Compensatory damages
2) Punitive damages
3) Shutting down/demolition of mosques from which the call-to-action was announced
4) Arrest the 1:9:90 (1 - the instigator, which is the mullah; 9 - the spreaders, who spread via WhatsApp etc; 90 - the actual stone-pelters)
5) Usage of facial recognition to file individual cases. Punishments vary, depending on whether they are the 1, the 9 or the 90
6) Identified perpetrators must have their voting rights, Aadhaar, direct-benefit-transfer and other privileges revoked forever
7) Demolish houses concerned
8.) Freeze assets of mosques, charities etc that support these, for rehabilitation of victims & lost/damaged property

By design, the punishment must be both collective & severe

Every Friday call-to-action must have such a disproportionate response that it will bankrupt the persons, families, ghetto & any "charity" that funds these actions

+1 premji. Instigators must be punished severely ( everyone has some doctored video / victimhood narrative). Social media amplifies lies spread by these instigators or the guy (moneybag) holding the biryani party after killing someone ( secondary culprit ) . Last in line is the guy pelting a stone or killing.

Arshyamji - the notion of punitive damage is to punish in severe magnitude thus deterring future behaviour and is different than the "compensatory action" . Please note in the case quoted above punitive damage is 145m$ vs 4m$ for compensation.

Also note the crime was : spreading lies without evidence. It is hard to prove that this alex guy was even related the crime or causes more crime. In the case above - it is directly causing crime. I would suggest 90 : 9 : 1

For the last in line - everything you said and more for public property destruction let alone killing etc. We should stop accepting pretending these actions as a form of democracy or as an expression of social injustice or freedom of speech or religious freedom or victimhood or any such proxy

I've become sceptical about bringing more strong legislations like the example above given the potential for misuse by a selectively activist and haughty judicial system that's accountable only to itself.

Once a significant reform of our justice system is done I'll feel more confident putting swords and guns to their hands.

JDU going back to RJD to form govt in Bihar. Nitish is alleging BJP is trying to break his party. Nitish is known as paltimar (named by Lalu), in 2017 he separated from Lalu on corruption charges but has decided to bury hatchet for now. This will have repercurssion on upcoming LS poll and perhaps states around. It is likely his party won't remain intact and some or more MLAs may leave for BJP

Resulting in New elections.

Why would RJD form an alliance with him unless he offers Lalu's son the CMship. He is facing huge anti-incumbency. In last elections RJD had a great strike rate against JD(U).

if they form a coalition than It would be MVA redux with JD(U) breaking and merging either with congress or the BJP.
