and this keeps getting better and better, for the taliban and its spineless "supporters" in India who are just too afraid to speak out against their unspeakably medieval jihadi conduct on the battle field

Heart-wrenching details in the photojournalist Danish Siddiqui killing. Taliban insurgents disrespected and mutilated the body of Siddiqui because of his Indian nationality. Ran over a vehicle over his head even they knew Siddiqui was dead.

Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui was killed last week while covering a clash between Afghan security forces and Taliban fighters near a border crossing with Pakistan. The Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist was embedded with Afghanistan forces at the time of his death.

Following his killing, officials said Danish Siddiqui and a senior Afghan officer were killed in what they described as Taliban crossfire. The official death certificate issued by the Embassy of India in Kabul, Afghanistan also noted multiple gunshot wounds as the cause of the photojournalist's death.

An Afghan commander has revealed heart-wrenching details in the Danish Siddiqui killing case. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Afghan commander Bilal Ahmed said the Taliban not only shot Danish Siddiqui but also mutilated his body.

Also See: Covered almost 85% of Afghanistan, will cover rest soon, says Taliban

The Afghan commander claimed that the Taliban insurgents disrespected and mutilated the body of Danish Siddiqui because of his Indian nationality. “Taliban hate Indians,” the Afghan commander said.

Bilal Ahmed who claims to have been associated with the Afghan forces for five years revealed details of the day Danish Siddiqui was killed. The Afghan commander told India Today that the Taliban fighters first shot Danish Siddiqui along with an officer during clashes in the town of Spin Boldak, near the border with Pakistan.

Bilal Ahmed alleged that when the Taliban learnt about his identity and Indian citizenship, they then ran over a vehicle over his head. This is when the Taliban knew that Danish was already dead, the Afghan commander said.

The Taliban's hatred for India and Indians is why they mutilated Danish Siddiqui’s body, he added.

We did not kill Danish Siddiqui: Taliban
India Today also spoke to a Taliban spokesperson on the phone who refuted the claims of the Afghan forces. The spokesperson said that Taliban fighters were not responsible for the death of Danish Siddiqui.

"We did not kill him. He was with enemy forces. If any journalist has to come here, he should talk to us. We are already in touch with journalists in the country,” Taliban spokesperson and commander Moulana Yousaf Ahmadi said on the phone.

Danish Siddiqui laid to rest
The body of Reuters photojournalist Danish Siddiqui was on Sunday laid to rest at the Jamia Millia Islamia graveyard.

The body of Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist was handed over by the Taliban to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) after which a flight carrying the mortal remains of Danish Siddiqui reached Delhi airport on Sunday evening.

Danish Siddiqui was an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia and won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018.

X posted from the Indo US thread

how is it that some US court "authorizes" the NSA to spy on a democratic country like India and its largest political party and who gives the US law the right to do so, even crossing national boundaries.

would it be acceptable if brown skined folks did it to them or is it a privilege reserved solely reserved for white skined.

bhala uski democracy meri democracy se safed kaise

An old article but still, some wokes in the US or in India, without an iota of proof, talking about pegasus should first know this

and I am very sure that the white man is still doing this covertly even today

BJP among six foreign parties authorised for NSA surveillance

BJP among six foreign parties authorised for NSA surveillance

Narayan Lakshman
WASHINGTON, JULY 01, 2014

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was included in a top-secret list of six non-U.S. political parties worldwide that the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) received official permission to covertly spy upon, according to the latest trove of data released to the media by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

The BJP, Indian government and a host of other foreign entities were included within the surveillance list of the >NSA authorised by the FISA Court in 2010 and per U.S. law this certification was required annually for the Agency to continue such surveillance every successive year.

It s not clear whether the FISA Court similarly authorised the NSA to spy on the BJP and Indian government in the years following 2010.

According to documents that Mr. Snowden published via the Washington Post on Monday, the U.S.’ shadowy Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court gave the NSA “broad leeway” in conducting surveillance upon not only these six political parties but also a list of 193 foreign governments – including India – and only four countries were off-limits under this programme.

The Post reported that Washington has long adhered to broad “no-spying arrangements” with only the U.K., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, a group known collectively with the U.S. the “Five Eyes.”

Yet the classified 2010 legal certification given to the NSA by the FISA court suggests the Agency received “a far more elastic authority than previously known,” one that reportedly allowed it to intercept through U.S. companies not just the communications of its overseas targets but any communications about those targets too.

NSA officials reportedly declined to comment on the certification or acknowledge its authenticity, but "stressed the constraints placed on foreign intelligence-gathering," including requirements set for the Agency by the President, the Director of National Intelligence and various departments through the National Intelligence Priorities Framework, the Post said.

The documents further revealed that the FISA court authorised the NSA to snoop on the Internet and telephone communications of the World Bank, United Nations, OPEC, and the European Union.

The other five political parties that the NSA had authority to spy upon were Amal of Lebanon, with links to Hezbollah; the Bolivarian Continental Coordinator of Venezuela, with links to FARC; the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood; the Egyptian National Salvation Front; and the Pakistan People’s Party.

In a comment to the Post, Jameel Jaffer, Deputy Legal Director for the American Civil Liberties Union, said, “These documents show both the potential scope of the government’s surveillance activities and the exceedingly modest role the court plays in overseeing them.”

Yediyurappa's resignation and the eventual collapse of BJP govt in KAR was the easiest to predict, and i said so more than an year ago when the 4 factions of BJP within the state started fighting that the chances of BJP govt in KAR collapsing are higher than the MVA govt falling in MH.

There are many lessons to be drawn from the Karnataka debacle for both BJP and the Congress . One - relentless development is the name of the game going forward, people will forgive corruption provided there is development and jobs. For BJP, if they aspire to grow in states where they have no presence or have a strong opposition party as in the case of Karnataka then they need to have a sound plan to bring jobs, manufacturing, improve infrastructure, water connectivity, new highways and general improvement in quality of life. In the absence of above if your average BJP MLA is working on his target of accumulating 300 crores towards his personal wealth within half a term then people will vote them out and bring back Congress because the net result is the same.

Two - nepotism is the bane of Indian politics. While Yeddi despite taking oath as the CM 4 times never saw more than 2 straight years in office, his son Vijayendra's interference in the government seems to have irked many even within the Yeddi faction of state BJP. We saw a similar play in Bihar with Chirag Paswan and LJP, we are seeing something similar unfold in Punjab with Capt Amrinder and his son and in RJ with Ashok Gehlot and his son. Factionalism, dissatisfaction with leadership, tribalism within the party will grown if the welfare of a family is put ahead of the welfare of the party , this is true for all parties.

Three - I have an increasing feeling that Modi may not contest the 2024 polls. It is clear that the party thinks those above the age of 75 should make way for younger leaders. Although Modi won't be 75 when 2024 arrives, if he wins he will be 75 within the first 2 years of the term. However, his recent physical appearance , the shaking of his entire cabinet and ushering in a lot of young ministers and his words of wisdom that a usual mercurial Yedirurappa is willing to quietly retire all hints that Modi too will retire at the end of his 2nd term.

Four - watch out for those who jump parties for power. The current BJP government was formed because MLAs jumped from JDS and INC, these MLAs can also very well jump back to their old parties and collapse the current government. We saw this in WB and we may see this again in Karnataka in the coming days.

As for Karnataka, the state will continue to hit new records in corruption with multi-billionaire MLAs, factionalism within both Congress and BJP allowing bit players like JDS to come to power and formation of shaky governments as has been the tradition. Despite all that the state will remain wealthy (relatively speaking in Indian context), and continue to attract people from all over the country thanks to Bangalore and its service industry.

Yediyurappa planted the saffron flag in the state in the 80s when the party was a joke. I remember those days when Congress and former Janata Party would spend tens of millions on election campaigns and paint the entire towns and cities with huge rallies, posters & cutouts in every corner, BJP's campaign involved giving out nothing more than 1 in x 1 in stickers of the party symbol. The campaign rally of your average BJP candidate was from a back of a matador van parked near some school ground ! This was the time when Yediyurappa along with many tall leaders from the coastal belt of Karnataka built the party over the next 20 yrs and turned it into becoming the single largest party in the state. While his contribution to the party and its cadres is immeasurable, he was unfortunately unable to keep peace with 4 different factions within the party. Sadly some of this could have been fixed 10 yrs ago had it not been for Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley meddling and misunderstanding the party dynamics in the state.

As odd as it may sound Yediyurappa is retiring on a high note. Its not been the easiest of times for him or the party with both waves of the pandemic severely denting the states finances, collapsing the healthcare infrastructure and destroying both lives and livelihoods. He was highly unpopular just few months ago but now that he has been made to resign there is a general feeling that he has been wronged not once or twice but four times ! Whoever replaces him will have a hell of a time governing and keeping the party afloat the next 2 years that's for sure.

Vijay Mallya is made bankrupt by English courts, can appeal
LONDON: Fugitive Indian businessman Vijay Mallya was declared bankrupt on Monday by the Insolvency and Companies Court of the London high court. Though the order takes effect immediately, he has the option to seek permission to appeal from a higher court.
"There is no evidence he will go back to India to face trial so I find insufficient evidence he will pay the debt in full in a reasonable period of time. I shall adjudicate Dr Mallya bankrupt," chief Insolvency and Companies Court (ICC) judge Briggs declared late Monday afternoon.
The 65-year-old chairman of UB Group, who lost all his court battles against extradition to India in May 2020 but has still not returned, now has to hand over all his assets, as well as his bank and credit cards to a bankruptcy trustee who will investigate his affairs and establish his true assets and liabilities, with a view to selling relevant assets and repaying creditors. The person declared bankrupt must cooperate with the trustee. All his bank accounts will now be frozen, apart from money to buy essentials. He is banned from acting as a director of a company or creating a company without the court’s permission or borrowing more than £500 without declaring he is bankrupt. His name will appear on the Individual Insolvency Register where billionaire steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal’s brother Pramod Mittal, too, is listed.
The State Bank of India-led consortium was seeking to make Mallya bankrupt for failing to clear the judgment debt of £1.05 billion (Rs 10,763 crore) determined by Karnataka’s Debt Recovery Tribunal in January 2017, which was subsequently registered in the English courts. The debt derives from a personal guarantee Mallya gave on loans lent to Kingfisher Airlines.

That's what it is about, isn't it. Shah Jehan defended the Mughal banner, and that Mughal banner has been portrayed as being the "real India," whereas the X,000 year-old civilization prior is nothing.

If anybody is claimed to be an "Indian" ruler, that person should look after the welfare of all citizens, especially the majority Hindus (and yes, Hindus outnumbered Muslims 6:1 or 7:1 in those times, as attested by Bernier).

Those who object to the statue of Sardar Patel as being wasteful expenditure, should also explain why it is okay (as per the accepted story) for an emperor to build a grand monument for his concubine, at the expense of the taxpayer. When the fact is, that Islam specifically forbids even marked graves, because only the Prophet is allowed to have a marked grave. In fact, this monument to a woman outshines the grave of the Prophet himself by a wide margin.

This has the potential to bring about a drastic change in the now convoluted process of land acquisition for infrastructure and industrial uses. The LARR was maliciously implemented by the congis as advised by that BIF contaminated body and the mafia queen controlled NAC.

It was a landmine that was strategically placed by the BIF to stymie industrial and infrastructure growth by the incoming BJP's Modi govt.

It looks like some enterprising and acquisitive political parties have found innovative ways to get around the congi created logjam

In Crucial Verdict, Supreme Court Allows TN to Acquire Land Using State Laws, Not LARR

In Crucial Verdict, Supreme Court Allows TN to Acquire Land Using State Laws, Not LARR

The decision could set a precedent for other state to bypass the landmark Land Acquisition Act of 2013 by using state legislations instead.

Nihar Gokhale,
24/JUL/2021

The Supreme Court on June 29 has stamped its approval on Tamil Nadu’s decision to revive three state laws and retrospectively bypass the 2013 land acquisition and rehabilitation law to acquire private property.

The apex court’s verdict opens the doors for other states to follow suit.

The 2013 law, the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act or simply LARR, replaced the 100-year old colonial Land Acquisition Act. The colonial legal regime had allowed forceful acquisition of lands and arbitrary compensation payouts, sparking decades of land conflicts between the state and people. The LARR, passed by the erstwhile UPA government and with support from the Bhartiya Janta Party (then in opposition), came with more favourable provisions for those losing their lands, such as social impact assessments, a fixed range of compensation and need for public consent before acquisitions.

When it came to office, the BJP government amended the law to weaken it. It later withdrew these changes in the face of protests. But subsequently it allowed a number of state governments (across the political spectrum) to make similar amendments at their level.

Tamil Nadu went a step further. It tried to bypass the LARR altogether. It amended the LARR to exempt its application to three old state land acquisition laws that were similar to the colonial Land Acquisition Act. Maharashtra and Karnataka followed suit.

The Madras high court struck down this move in 2019, saying the old laws stood invalidated after the LARR was enacted. The Tamil Nadu government then passed a state law that revalidated the laws. Landowners filed a petition against this revival in the Supreme Court. The court has now pronounced that the revival of the laws was a “legitimate legislative exercise”.

It was “beyond debate that a legislature can validate an invalidated law by removing the cause for such invalidity through a legislative exercise,” the judgement read.

The court also held that Article 254 (2) of the Constitution allows states to deviate from the LARR as long as they have the consent of the president of India. The president, acting under the advice of the BJP-led Union government, has consented to all LARR amendments by states.

The judgement “opens the door for similar legislations by other states” and comes at a time when the LARR is facing several setbacks and reversals, said Madhuresh Kumar of the National Alliance of People’s Movements, which is a petitioner in a Supreme Court challenge to the dilutions to the LARR. “The 2013 law came about after a lot of struggle. It was not the best law, but it was better than the 1894 law as it recognised certain principles like seeking people’s consent and conducting social impact assessment. We thought we would build upon those principles. But instead states have circumvented the law and courts have also not stood for the rights of the people,” he said, citing the recent verdict and the March 2020 judgement interpreting Section 24 of the law.

Tamil Nadu’s revival of laws was with effect from 2013, so the Supreme Court judgement now regularises all the acquisitions done since then under state laws, which were put on hold by the high court. These include acquisition for the Chennai Metro Rail that has been opposed by affected people.

But this may not be the final word on the issue. The Supreme Court said it will now hear another challenge from a group of landowners in the state. They have argued that the validity of state laws along with the LARR would violate their right to equality under Article 14 of the Constitution.

Supreme Court’s decision

After the LARR came into force on January 1, 2014, many states diluted the 2013 law as it applied to their territories. Under the Constitution, land acquisition is a ‘concurrent list’ subject over which both the state and union government can make laws.

Most states, including Gujarat, Jharkhand and Telangana, amended the LARR to exempt some of its provisions from applying to certain types of projects. For instance, Gujarat exempted acquisitions for infrastructure projects from doing a social impact assessment.

But Tamil Nadu mounted a more ambitious challenge to the LARR. It decided to exempt the LARR entirely from acquisitions for certain categories of projects, including industrial and infrastructure projects. The state revived three outdated laws (here, here and here) that were largely used for acquiring land for such projects. In fact, two of the laws – on land acquisition for industrial purposes and highways – account for a majority of land acquisitions in the state. The laws are similar to the repealed colonial land acquisition law and allow forceful acquisition of land without social impact assessments, consent or other provisions of the LARR.

The state’s attempts were struck down by the Madras high court in 2019 in a petition filed by landowners affected by acquisition for highways and projects like the Chennai Metro Rail. The court said that the state laws were inconsistent with the LARR and were hence rendered void on the day the LARR became law. Two weeks later, the state government nullified the court’s verdict through a state legislation, which again revived the three laws. Now, the Supreme Court has upheld this nullification of the high court verdict.

The legal arguments over Tamil Nadu’s actions centre around interpretations of Article 254 of the Constitution, which governs inconsistencies between state and Union laws on the same subject. Article 254 (2) says a state law inconsistent with a Union law can remain in force only if it is assented to by the president. Otherwise, it is rendered void.

The Supreme Court’s judgement, delivered by a bench comprising Justices A.M. Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari, holds that when a state law is rendered void due to Article 254, the state legislature can still revive the law through an amendment “substantively changing the basis of voidness”. And it can do this retrospectively.

The court held also that once the requirements of Article 254 (2) were followed by the state legislature, any inconsistency between state and central laws becomes “inconsequential” and is “said to have been Constitutionalised.”

Consequently, the court held that there was no point in analysing whether the Tamil Nadu state laws were inconsistent with the LARR. In its words, “the whole exercise of pointing out any repugnancy after a validating Act has obtained the assent of the President is otiose”.

The court also said the Tamil Nadu legislature had followed the lawful procedure in nullifying the high court judgement.

Tamil Nadu, which was represented by Attorney General K.K. Venugopal, had argued that it enacted the 2019 law reviving the state laws “keeping in mind the State interest, public interest and land owners’ interest”.

According to the judgement, the state government’s letter to the president seeking his assent to the 2019 Act had said that the saving and revival of state laws would have a “strong bearing on the public exchequer”.

Article 14 interpretation still open

The court may still put an end to state land acquisition laws. Its decision concerns only the legality of Tamil Nadu’s revival of laws and nullification of the high court judgement in 2019.

The court has not yet heard a clutch of related petitions from landowners arguing that reviving state land acquisition laws violates citizens’ right to equality before the law under Article 14 of the Constitution. The court had said it would take up these petitions after deciding the legality of the 2019 revival.

The Article 14 question stems from how state laws apply only to specific kinds of projects. Acquisition for other projects would still be done using the LARR.

So, a landowner having their land acquired for an industrial estate would face the harsh provisions of the state law, but a landowner facing acquisition for, say, an educational institute would be entitled to all benefits of the LARR.

the BJP is already in election mode. They have their eyes on the next KAR state election. Yeddy has been convinced to move on without rancour and anger as the BJP is hoping to keep his vote banks intact.

By the next elections yeddy will be close to 80 and cannot aspire for the CM's gaddi. So why would anyone vote for him when they know that their leader is not going to be the CM, come what may.

A new leader will take time to break in and settle down. Hence the horses are being changed midstream. The center may target some congis via the agencies to warn off trouble makers.

So the next gen is being groomed and yeddi will have some say in ticket distribution to keep the community happy. He has already shown his political muscle with so many "seers" coming out to support him.

yeddi is moving on not because of opposition or incompetence but because of a well thought out electoral strategy and Shobha Karandlaje is part of the deal. sadanand gowda and many others will be upset with the new equations.

ydeei has quietly stepped down as part of the agreement but he is not out because he will continue in the jang ka maidan. he has interests and a legacy to protect and probably revenge to take as well.

ICSE is Anglo Indian school board (https://www.cisce.org/council.aspx) that is loyal to UK.
That fact is already well known but how many anglos are studying in these ICSE schools... and whose money pays for them to stay in "business"

their target audience is obvious but they cannot target India's majority, no matter to which white skin country they are aligned to.

all "convent" schools in India run on the fees paid by the majority. Otherwise these schools simply will not survive.

That's assuming Bommai Jr is savvy and clever enough to keep the warring factions at bay until the elections. The seers are hypocritical crooks who first instigated a rebellion against Yeddi, and when he was about to fall on the sword they were worried about their image and rushed to Bangalore. Yeddi from this point forward is only interested in securing his son's political future, Shobha Karandlaje's star rose with Yeddi and now will set with Yeddi's retirement. Bommai's selection has come as a surprise to many and it can prove to be a master stroke provided he can keep the flock together and finally get to governing the state instead of worrying about his chair every day. Someone i know compared Bommai's unexpected ascendency to CM chair as the "Graeme Smith moment" comparing it to South African cricketer Graeme Smith who unexpectedly and to surprise of everyone replaced Hansie Cronje as the captain of the team.

MAD will try and keep the peace in KAR by hook or by deploying alphabet organizations.

easy for them to make an nice example out of a wayward congi just to get pappu's goat and kill two birds with one stone.

Many gowdas also seem to have old skeletons rattling around in their cupboards, especially in 5 star cupboards in faraway goa.

yeddi may take over as the de facto party boss in KAR or have a strong say in the day to day affairs via direct contact in dilli.

some agreement has obviously been reached between yeddi and the high command to pour oil over troubled waters

Slightly on a different track!
What does this portend??? both to farmer agitation/AAP politics in appointing lawyers and possible DiDi's move to Dilli if she is forced to resign
Is this MAD way to pre-empt troubles ahead??
All curious as this extension to Mr Asthana comes just 3 days before retirement!!
The Johalwalas/and the usual culprits will be up in arms.

So? whose fault is that? Madarasas teach quran is well known to majority. If majority go to madarasa knowing that whose fault is that. It is just whining that majority don't follow your/my opinion.

of course, it's our fault. Whose else can it be

we've been doing this to ourselves for many centuries, justifying civilizational, cultural, and religious assault with our inbuilt secularitis and inherited liberalitis using misunderstood sentiments like atithi devo bhava and sarve bhavantu sukhinah. The desert cults don't have the additional burden of needlessly carrying such sentiments to the extremes

and they will continue until the last dumbo "once upon a time" majority gets railroaded out of existence because they are too shy or embarrassed or just plain "what will the neighbors say" flustered to put up any resistance

Hindus willfully forget that the muslims of India chose India because they are allowed to live here as muslims by the Hindus of India. Whereas, the Hindus of pak/beediland chose India because they were not allowed to live as Hindus by muslims of pak/beediland. Reciprocity is not asked for even in their own country by "tolerant" Hindus.

christianity is the whiteman's islam. It's not as loud but it plays out in exactly the very same way as the britshits proved to us when they left us to the tender mercies of the commies, financially impoverished and civilizationally devastated in 1947.

In these covid times, the Hindus should wash their hands regularly. They should not worry about their brains... the rolers and the ropers have already washed their brains for them using the constitution thrust upon the Hindus by the great white fathers who were sitting in whitehall.

Aakar Patel really hates Astana- Guess why? Asthana is the man who diligently prepared the case against Mallya in UK. So much so that the UK judge praised the investigations. Aakar's wife happens to be Mallya's Executive Secretary.

Regarding Yeddy, Bommai used to spend most of his time at Yeddy home even he was home minister. This is Yeddy govt itself. I hope R Ashok is made home minister. Bangalore police shall make North Karnataka person run in circles if they are home minister

Why one would like to be a politician in India? Money ( officially unaccounted ) and raw power. You are not politician unless you slap somebody in public and get away with it. Why my lords are silent on criminal elements in politics. How come criminal get to elected? Yes everybody is innocent until proven guilty but what about those who were proven guilty later on but in mean time made fortunes. One can not enter in govt services with criminal record. Why one can stand in elections? Best thing to finish corruption is to have written order. Nothing verbal. This will stop abuse of system.

^^ One way of looking at it. The two honest MPs of Karnataka, Tejasvi Surya and Pratap Simha had one more grouse of why there cannot be an honest MP. They said people line up in front of their offices asking for money. An average MP gets demands for nearly 3-5 lakh rupees worth of help calls per day. This works out to be nearly a crore a month or 12 crores a year. How does a MP be honest and manage this money? The govt should give yearly 10cr discretionary funds to MP so that he can do this. If he does not do this, another Real estate guy comes along, spends the yearly 12 cr, gets votes from the people and starts recovering the investment. Until people starts voting on how the person spends govt money rather than what he gave to them for free, India will go nowhere. Tejasvi Surya solved this problem by engaging NGO and company CSR funds to help such people. He could do it because of many philanthropists in Jayanagar area of Bangalore, something Pratap Simha could not do in Mysore.

[quote="chetak"]This has the potential to bring about a drastic change in the now convoluted process of land acquisition for infrastructure and industrial uses.

How convenient Landmine is getting cleared when

1) When UPA Govt is there in TN and NDA Govt is out
2) Most of Modi term in Center is over.

if needed, other states may use this as a precedent to approach courts or make state laws for themselves to ease things for themselves.

Can the TN Stalin Government use this judgement to usurp Temple land?

Larr or not Larr - Temple lands have already been swindled/benamied . Land records have to be digitized and made public using technologies like blockchain. Then we can get slowly try shaming and naming to get it back

^Was wondering what the hell happened to our diseased courts and then
The top court also said that the Madhya Pradesh high court order granting bail to Govind Singh, husband of BSP MLA from Patharia in Damoh....

...Singh, who was arrested in March this year in connection with Congress leader Devendra Chaurasia's murder in 2019....
it all adds up...
