Yes, this has been in the works for about 2 months now. Seems like Pappu Gandee's bharat jodo yatra is already showing results. :D He is an excellent BJP "karyakarta at large", and always delivers for Modi.

I have posted more details on GJ and HP in Assembly Elections - 2022 thread. Time to resume that thread now, with elections around the corner.

7 Villages & 1500-Year Old Temple Claimed By Waqf Board In Tamil Nadu; Villagers
Seven villages in Tamil Nadu that are dominated by the Hindu community are now claimed by the Waqf board. An allegation has been made by villagers that Waqf is trying to claim a 1500 year old temple and village land. Villagers talked to Times Now and explained the situation. The state of Tamil Nadu The Waqf board has temporarily withdrawn their instructions for any such land transactions. This comes after the waqf board claimed they owned some of the villages. But after the incident, villagers got furious and the waqf board said they would again analyse their land documents to confirm if they own village lands and, after that, they would inform the sub registrar which land actually belongs to the waqf board. Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the Waqf Board, told the media about the land. Trichy collector M Pradeep, on the other hand, told the media that they needed to inform and show their document administrator about their land

Sorry to disagree with you. DMK no doubt is anti hindu but in this case it has no role. Its waqf act that comes to play. The powers goven to it were explained in JaipurDialogues 2 years ago.

I think now the case should be fought in SC or Shreya court? Forgot what was told...

AFAIK, Nehru was initially responsible for this Waqf act, and it was further made draconian by Narasimha Rao in 1995 (perhaps to soothe Muslims after Babri demolition)

This video (in Hindi) is very instructive:

Supreme Court refuses to take up plea challenging Waqf Act. - Apr 14, 2022
The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to consider a petition filed by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay challenging the Waqf Act, 1995, Live Law reported.

A bench comprising Justices DY Chandrachud and Surya Kant said that the constitutionality of a law cannot be challenged through an “abstract petition”.

https://theprint.in/india/delhi-hc-issu ... 95/923234/
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued notice to the Centre Government on public interest litigation (PIL) challenging the constitutional validity of several sections of the Waqf Act 1995.

The plea stated that these provisions grant special status to Waqf properties denying equal status to Trusts, Mutts, Akharas, and Societies and confer unbridled powers to Waqf Boards to register any property as Waqf property.

The Division Bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla while seeking the response of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Minority Affairs and Law Commission of India also asked the petitioner to make a party to Waqf Board also in the matter. Court then listed the matter for July 28, 2022, for a detailed hearing.

The petitioner Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay, a practising lawyer and BJP leader stated that there is no safeguard for Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, and other communities to save their properties from inclusion in the list of Waqf issued by Waqf Boards. Therefore, Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, Bahais, Christians, and Zoroastrians are discriminated against. It offends Articles 14-15.

The plea also sought appropriate direction/declaration that the State can enact only Uniform Law for Trust- Trustees, Charities-Charitable Institutions and Religious Endowments-Institutions as enumerated in Item 10 and 28 of List-III, Seventh Schedule in consonance with Articles 14-15, and cant make separate law for Waqf and Waqf properties.

The plea further stated that the several provisions of the Waqf Act 1995, are made under the garb of managing waqf properties but there are no similar laws for followers of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Judaism, Bahaism, Zoroastrianism and Christianity. Hence, it is against the secularism, unity, and integrity of the nation. The Waqf is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution.

The Waqf Act has given uncontrolled powers to Waqf Boards and Waqf properties have been placed over and above other charitable religious institutions. No other enactments referred to above have conferred such wide powers and status to Hindu and other non-Islamic religious institutions said the plea.

The plea further sought the issuance of direction that the dispute relating to religious properties shall be decided by the Civil Court only under Section 9 of the Civil Procedure Code 1908, and not by the Waqf Tribunal. It also sought direction from the Centre or Law Commission of India to draft a ‘Uniform Code for Trust-Trustees and Charities-Charitable Institutions’ in the spirit of Articles 14-15 and publish it for public debate and feedback. NIA conducts searches at 38 locations in Telangana, AP; four detained for questioning
Hyderabad: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has carried out searches at multiple locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in connection with a case registered against the Popular Front of India (PFI) cadres in Nizamabad district.

During the searches, the NIA sleuths faced stiff opposition from family members of those whose names were figured in the FIR. Slogans like “NIA go back” rent the air in one area and in Butchireddypallem in Nellore, the family members argued with NIA officials for unnecessarily conducting searches and creating tension among the family members.

welcome to Islamic republic of India

Quotas: Govt to set up panel to study status of Scheduled Castes converts to Christianity and Islam
In a move with far-reaching implications, the Centre is all set to constitute a national commission to study the social, economic and educational status of members of Scheduled Castes, or Dalits, who converted to religions other than Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism, The Indian Express has learnt.

The proposal to set up such a commission is being actively discussed at the Centre, and a decision is likely to be taken soon, it is learnt.

The move to set up such a commission assumes significance in the wake of several petitions pending before the Supreme Court seeking SC reservation benefits for Dalits who converted to Christianity or Islam.

part from mapping the changes in status and situation of Dalits who have converted to Christianity or Islam, the proposed commission will also study the impact of adding more members to the current SC list.
I do not know why Hindus have this suicidal tendency ? the only lollypop to stop the problem of conversion is this impact is quota. Being an SC/ST, if there is SC/ST quota for christen/Islam, i can enjoy the status of being both christen/Islam outlook and also fruits of reservation. wound you think its a better choice for SC/ST?

rather than removing the discrimination of SC/ST within Hindu fold & uplift there status, our "hindu hrudya samrat" is making every effort to kill Hinduism and downfall of India. even after 75 yrs if the list of SC/ST keeps growing, and not one community is out of this stating it has improved/benefited enough that it can compete with Brahminical patriarchy then the whole system of quota itself is flawed.

on the other hand if SC/ST did convert to get better status/ standard of living and still not archived then what is the need of conversion? why cant these people compete in 10% EBFC quota? only Allah can help kafir Hindus from this Mandal 2.0.

I doubt. Remeber mandal commission was setup during Indira Gandhi time i think. VP singh just executed it.
My simple question is if SC/ST list keeps growing insted of decreasing over time then there is a serious problem with quota itself. There are atleast 4 generations and still if Caste needs quote is surprise.
On the other hand i see due to mandal effect many brains simply went out of india. Today they are heading almost all major companies. Just think if they were here to develop india

Best is what basavanna did to SC/ST in Karnataka. Now they are not only richer than brahmin but more educated than brahmin. Its different that there fight to be equal to Brahmin once today they fought and got OBC status. Now jangamas who once fought to reform hinduism & improve kannada are today fighting to prove they are different religion when there own people are not agreeing. :rotfl:

I heard from many YouTube channels that RSS/BJP had an internal survey and were shocked to know that many Hindus who supported BJP have turned to NOTA. The anger against BJP has peaked due to Nupur/sar tan se juda/CAA/Farmar bill. This has put panic in BJP and brought Amit shah in front. now AS has been given full free hand and that is the result of these are Amanatullah arrested, CBI and ED on many AAP top brass and this. Even didi is in panic now.

Madhu, There are periodic surveys and BJP does course correction.
However, this round could be due to different reasons.
Basically could be an exercise to understand the differences between seats won and lost in 2019 for which there is real polling data.

Madhu Saar,
I seriously doubt if that is the case for all the recent arrests of the AAPis, Barely anyone knows what the central brain trust is thinking and people tend to fill it with their own material. We (or maybe i should speak for myself) still don't know the concrete reasons why BJP stayed mum on violence in Bengal, and even though people might scream on the BJP its still the right to suspend Nupur Sharma and they are still providing her with protection lest people forget the teeniest data).

Most of the corruption cases have been opened a long time and the CBI or NIA or ED takes time to investigate and then chargesheet are filed. The Central govt hasn't jailed anyone nilly willy to have them be released from courts (most of them have been on bail, none released outright).

The biggest bane of the people supporting the BJP is having no patience to see their tasks through and simply venting. People like Sanjay Dixit and Ajeet bharati are also guilty of fanning flames (though they are definitely justified in some case not all in moi opinion).

Also would like to point out that there is a time and place for getting things done, often the cases are filed but the Central leadership doesn't move as it can create confusion. Amanatullah was doing his waqf dadagiri probably for a long time and it would have increased after the Delhi elections of 2020, where he is personally overssing the muslim voter turnout and the distribution of salaries to mullahs and maulana, but arresting him for the first infraction then would only give credence to him being arrested by govt for supporting the anti-CAA agitation, now very few will point the same (atleast that is moi opinion).

same is the issue with Sanjay Raut case, the investigation started in 2018 after the complaints were filed. that was when the SS and BJP had the govt in Maha, the investigation went on and after they had time and need, it came to fore or maybe the lord also got it to the end at around the same time when Uddhav was shown the door and Sanjay raut was running his mouth.

Thakur B Saar,
I will take a stab at the highlighted portion. Regarding not jailing people there is a video of Adhir Ranjan Chaudary of the congress saying to PM Modi in the parliament, you guys (the BJP) have always blamed Sonia and Rahul Gandhi for scams especially the National herald one. but why don't you arrest and put them in jail? The PM replied, We don't believe in putting people in jail as this is not some emergency time. The courts decide who is guilty and they will announce the verdict and if people who are out on bail want to enjoy the freedom why should we stop them.
This sums up their attitude regarding putting anyone in jail.

On the waqf act, there was a recent video by Pradip Singh of Aapka Akhbar on the waqf act, where it was implied that even if the govt removes (mustering all its courage and somehow gets it to pass in RajyaSabha also among the screaming pseudo-secular parties), it can and will most definitely be challenged in the Supreme Court and it will take up the hearings along with providing the Owaisis and the motley crew to bray day and night that BJP is out to finish the malsis by reversing the waqf act. So ultimately you have to fight it out in SC, then might as well get it done there first and avoid all this cacophony and then pass a law.

The chandigarh lobby needs to be neutered and instead of statements i think one way is the no import list. But you have to remember that they haven't broken any laws that we are aware of yet, so simply arresting them to only getting a full release is out of question. The braying from them will increase as the products mature and the govt pushes it POV, as Karan M Saar in one of his posts mentioned the top brass always gets heard out by the govt and in the end the govt want everyone to implement the govt policy whether it is on Aatma Nirbhar or Agniveer program.

The chandigarh lobby can influence the writing in the media for a while, but if the army start accepting domestic orders, this lobby with wither away on the vine (or so i hope). But sometimes i do think maybe the govt should force one or two desi solutions in spite of the forces questions. afterall the tankers didn't like the t72 but later grew to love them more as they trained and graduated even though they were called tin cans or had umpteen defects.

Madhuji, i hope your TV & YouTube is in the right place & you are not watching Dhruv Tatee in a loop.

Or you landed at Ahmedabad airport, looked at several KKK posters & panicked, posted the above & took return flight back.

Problem with 'I heard' is that there is no way to verify the actual data of a survey that led to it's 'hearing'!

In Gujarat, AAP tried to put Medha Patkar as CM candidate. Of course she is a winnable candidate in Lutyens circle. Outside that, she will attract negative votes.

Pappu's Bharat Todo yatra is progressing very well. Just in states which do not have BhajPa government

So what exactly are you worried about!?

pappu and Paap do not matter. for BJP, BJP is the problem. my worry is BJP going congress way. except ram mandir I do not see any plan for Hindus.
that also was achieved though SC and not by there own.

Just like congress< BJP to placate Muslim can go full on them. for Muslims already BJP has brought law for TTT, 8 yrs still supported WTF act, Quran and computer hand in hand. for Hindus what? before independence congress was seen as Hindu party by Muslims. no amount of appeasement could pacify them. today also I see the same Gandhi had told "swarajya can wait but not Khilafat" bjp also doing, "all hindu aasthas can wait but not upliftment of Muslims."

Gujarat riots: SIT files chargesheet against Teesta, retired DGP Sreekumar, ex-IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt
The Gujarat Special Investigation Team (SIT) has filed a chargesheet against Mumbai-based activist Teesta Setalvad, retired DGP R B Sreekumar and former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt in a case of alleged fabrication of evidence in relation to the Gujarat riots of 2002.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Deepan Bhadran, who heads the SIT and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), confirmed to The Indian Express that the chargesheet was filed on Tuesday against the three in an Ahmedabad court.

Setalvad got out on bail on September 2, while Sreekumar, who has been in custody since their arrest on June 25, has moved a bail petition before the Gujarat High Court which is due to be heard on September 28. Bhatt is already lodged in a Palanpur jail, convicted in a custodial death case of 1990.
The chargesheet was filed against Setalvad, Sreekumar and Bhatt under sections 120 B (criminal conspiracy), 468 (forgery), 471 (using as genuine a forged document or electronic record), 194 (giving or fabricating false evidence with intent to procure conviction of capital offence, 211 (false charge of offence made with intent to injure) and 218 (public servant framing incorrect record or writing with intent to save person from punishment or property from forfeiture) of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR had been lodged against them by the Ahmedabad Detection of Crime Branch on the same charges based on a Supreme Court verdict that upheld the clean chit to then chief minister Narendra Modi, his council of ministers and bureaucrats on their role in the 2002 riots.

Jihadi Pee Pee Cee's new project ... South vs North
Data shows that southern Indian states continue to outperform the rest of the country in health, education and economic opportunities. But what are the consequences of this phenomenon? Nilakantan R, a data scientist, finds out.

Consider a child born in India.

Firstly, this child is far less likely to be born in southern India than in northern India, given the former's lower rates of population growth.

But let's assume she is. In which case, she is far less likely to die in the first year of her life given the lower infant mortality rates in south India compared with the rest of the country.

She is more likely to get vaccinated, less likely to lose her mother during childbirth, more likely to have access to child services and receive better early childhood nutrition.

She is also more likely to celebrate her fifth birthday, find a hospital or a doctor in case she falls sick and eventually live a slightly longer life.

She will go to school and stay in school longer - she will more likely go to college as well. She is less likely to be involved in agriculture for economic sustenance and more likely to find work that pays her more.

She will also go on to be a mother to fewer children, who in turn will be healthier and more educated than her. And she'll also have greater political representation and more impact on elections as a voter.

Can we use same logic on religious lines too?

The four states have a smaller population than their northern counterparts, having seen lower population growth for a generation now.

While their prosperity leads them to being taxed more - on a per-capita basis because they are less populous - they are given a relatively smaller share in the central transfer of taxes where the amount allocated is dependent on the population. Thus, they see themselves as being punished for their success.

Lets extend same login on religious basis too?

As the Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu, P Thiaga Rajan said recently, "If you remove all variables of taxation away from the states and put them under the GST bucket, where are states to determine their revenue policy? You've effectively turned states into municipalities."

This has made the relations between the central government and the south tense.

In 2020, for example, after a particularly prolonged political battle between Delhi and the states on the GST, the federal government agreed to pay the states what it lawfully owed them only after some state governments threatened to sue.

Earlier this year, there was a tussle between states and the central government about lowering fuel prices, with the latter demanding that the states do so - and many of the southern states pushing back.

It's a problem with no easy solutions.

On the one hand there are people in Uttar Pradesh who want to be treated just like a citizen in Tamil Nadu in terms of government services and welfare schemes. But on the other hand, there are citizens of Tamil Nadu who end up sending more money over to states such as Uttar Pradesh than spending on themselves via the complicated tax system.

That's not all - relations between the south and the central government could get more fraught in the future as the country gears up for another round of delimitation in 2026.

The exercise - which was last done in 1976 - refers to redrawing the boundaries of electoral seats to represent changes in population over time. This means that along with revenue loss and lack of freedom to make their own policies, the prosperous south may have fewer seats in parliament in the future.

............"
Madhu Saar,
The highlighted portion is a fine example of half-truth masquerading as a truth to give a complete opposite meaning of what has probably happened. you are talking about Milords that gave unsolicited gyan during Nupur Sharma's case and couldn't wait to give bail to zoobear as if the sky was falling if the bail papers weren't signed before 6 pm on that day. this is also the same SC that told the then army chief VK Singh that he can fight his case on the dob controversy and also prove the right date, but for all practical purposes will keep it the same dob as the govt was proposing and he will have to retire by that date (which begs the question why fight the case at all).

Saying that SC on its volition went for day to day hearings and were magnanimous to have the Hindus their land back for Ayodhya Ram mandir is balderdash. It wouldn't have happened without the nudging from the powers that be. You will have to go through Meenakshi Jain and KK Mohammad videos to see the plethora of evidence presented in public and also the courts which you might be aware of, no doubt.

This sort of argument is done by the opposition parties to deny the current govt the credit while the uber-hindutva vaadis try to showcase this as the govt having no role and hence Narendra Modi govt deserves a NOTA because <insert their current pet peeve> not addressed by the govt. The site Media Crooks is one of the biggest offender in this regard. This also causes Hindus to forget that PAAPis, congis at one point brayed that it was murder of democracy, constitution etc etc.. and had opposed the temple. Now they are trying to make a Temple run and showcase as if they were always in support.

Ultimately Hindus will have to stand for their rights always as the other side hasn't slunk into darkness for 5 years after general elections. They are constantly trying to find pressure points and get what they want (the recent waqf land grabbing, terrorizing of Hindus supporting Nupur or breaking Temples are a sign of the same). Hindus standing united and demanding from the govt also creates a counter balance that will not bind the hands of the govt or have some section of BJP trying to force the other section to go slow on Malsi or hindu causes citing some malsi votebank.

The BBC reports can only give us an idea of what fault lines they are looking to exploit. But I can atleast say that the graphs representing the funds allocated from centre vs states generating their own finances is a very good example of lies, damned lies and statistics.

1. Do these funds make a distinction of how much taxes the states are taking on liquor and petrol to generate the revenue exclsuively vs what is collected on taxes from the accepted general pool.
2. Kerala Last i heard had difficulties paying salaries to the state govt employees, but apparently the have more local revenues than central govt returns.
3. Do the above Pee Pee See links talk about how state govts doled out freebies to bankrupt their finances in the South as well.
4. Do they also take the expenditure the central govt incurs by building/repairing highways and other infrastructure that is not included in the grants of the state.

The Pee Pee See seems to have responded after India has overtaken UK with this toilet paper worthy article. Somebody should ask those worthies if the amount generated from London in the UK is actually subsidizing the rest of the country and how long is that even possible for the people living/working in London? Maybe London should also ask itself if they should stay with UK or are better served a being a separate republic.

Not just highways, expenditure on Railways, ports, schools, PMGSY (rural roads), healthcare (AIIMS, vaccines, etc.), etc. are some form of transfer from the centre to the states. All ration card support - food, direct benefit transfer, ujjawal yojana that go directly into people's accounts - what are these then? Just because PTR is not given money to spend on useless freebies and keeps complaining like a spoilt child does not mean centre does not spend on states.

Anyway, the Bullshit Broadcasting Craparation should stick its nose into its own nethers, like Charles' shenanigans or that of his progeny, instead of trying to understand technical stuff like the expenditure heads of a foreign govt.

As for the govt ignoring Hindu issues - for a long time, there were 3 major Hindu issues - Ram temple, 370 and UCC. The first two are completed, aren't they? Is the third completely ignored? Smaller-scale Hindu issues like Jallikattu were solved earlier and is a non-issue now. Yes, the way they go about it may not be to our liking, but to say they are oblivious of Hindu issues is not accurate either. Has the KA BJP govt not held the line on hijab in schools? Yes, it's the state law, but in the last few decades we are used to seeing govts go out of their way to appease minorities to the extent of pampering them, law be damned. This is a refreshing change in that context. Then there is the case of a Vishwananth baba from Kashi - who had any hopes of reviving that? The new corridor has piqued interest of the population and more people are asking about that temple.

Most importantly, a long-passive Hindu population is finally showing signs of stirring out of a deep slumber and starting to engage with these issues themselves. This itself is a big pro-Hindu effect of this govt, by enabling that environment to discuss things that were earlier brushed under the carpet, and without this, no govt can solve things by themselves. The public needs to be engaged to put pressure on the politicians to address new issues as they come up, and that is happening to a much greater extent these days.

Uttarakhand will pass a pilot UCC in November.

Once it passes SC scrutiny it will be replicated in all BJP states.
Once enough states pass then Center will pass it.
The Constitution requires UCC.

Yes saar, I am aware of that. That's why I posed the UCC issue as a question, implying it was not forgotten.
