Plus in 2019, there was an unprecedented voter turnout, which turned out to be "pro-incumbency"!
Actually it was anti-incumbency. TMC was hoping for 42 out of 42, but got a rude shock when BJP captured 18 out of 42. In another three seats BJP lost by a very thin margin in spite of TMC's rigging. Otherwise it would have been 21/42 for BJP.
Today, till 5pm, viting was recorded approx 81%. Final count may go over 85%, and this huge surge is going to topple Begum.
Usually Bengal recored around 78% +/- 2%, but this extra 5% is going to be a game changer.

I love the way Mr Modi has made common man party to every little thing..He takes it to the janata darbar. In the process common man on the streets is so awareful of things going on..Becomes an informed voter

Here is my assessment to a private group:
There seem to be a Kerala Schism 3.0 (if we consider the Koonan Kurish uprising against Portuguese terrorists as ver 2.0) happening among Kerala christians
- kerala RoL seem split between vatican-supremacy and Eastern Orthodox
- All three vatican oriented catholic factions (syro malabar, syro malankara and latin) seem slowly moving enmasse towards left and leaving behind the Congress, with the numerically largest syro Malabar(led by alancherry) and second largest led by soosa pakiam (coastal, latin catholics) etc seemingly *very* happy around pinarayi. The most businesslike and un-dogmatic one is Cleemis of syro-malankara who seem to be sitting on fence, but seem to go with one in power or probably come to power
- Trio of Eastern Churches (Jacobite, marthomite and malankara orthodox) seem split with Jacobites and marthomites more amenable to BJP. The Malankara Orthodox folks (most numerous of three) seem split with one side having backing of BJP while the other side is backed by left in Kerala. Cong, which used to be their goto party rather over night, found itself out of all reckoning
- the desert origin religions all seem to nurture a proclivity towards obedient worship of powerful messiah/heros/warlords. Right now they see two, the powerful kannur warlord who till now have been vilified as godless by the kerala church clergy and an even greater conqueror of Delhi who has been vilified, but does believe in a heathen form of supreme being Things can get confusing to the simple binary minds of the believers
- in the meantime, the predatory EJs are proliferating among the laity, while nibbling all of these churches down to the bones with their Amway approach (inspired by lepers spreading their disease) for pyramidal model soul reaping. As alancherry found out, massive landholdings can cause birth of powerful internal enemies, but the EJ churches seem to keep their holding fragmented and less visible. Cunning
Interesting.. but aren't the ordinary EJs & Catholic Abduls impacted at all by love-jihad ? Do these factions have any tacit understanding with Jihadis ?
PK was hired by Mumtaaz' nephew Abhishek Banerjee (AB).
It was PK+AB who convinced Mumtaaz to contest Nandigram, knowing fully that it is a pocket-borough of Subhendu Adhikari, and it would be a very tough call for her to win the contest. But she was lured at this seat based on an emotional blackmailing. (Her other urban seat - Bhawanipore looked more challenging as it is a little pan India with Bengalis constitute only 40% of that locality).
The PK+AB's calculation is/was that if Mumtaaz loses (which she will) at Nandigram, and then AB takes over the reign of the party, and hence the CM-ship, assuming that TMC wins this battle.

Kerala X'ians is not a monolith, and have their own caste system and also various factions/sects. Traditionally most of the X'ian sects are pro-Congress. But off late the 'on the face' religious aggression of the peacefool community, and both CPI(M) and Congress ignoring that and acting 'secular' have prompted many X'ians to become more supportive of the BJP. The X'ian sects especially the ones which have very long (centuries old) ties with Kerala, have very much adapted & co-existed with Kerala Hinduism would be the first to actually tilt towards the BJP.
I have always struggled to understand xtians in kerala and how they are organized. I hardly find any reliable accurate writings on this.
“Let election be over, then I teach these gaddars... where would they go? Dilli? Bihar? UP? Or Rajasthan? Will hold their ear and bring them and slap cases

When Western judges say India has gone down in democracy, I say yes. It has. To put down democratically elected government at center, its opponents have resorted to undemocratic ways, thereby undermining democracy. The way Mamota Begum is behaving is what practically every single Modi opponents/regional satraps are doing. Resorting to worst casteist, religious faultlines, inflaming them, is something what democracy shouldn't have to deal with.
Should they have burnt it down or should they have done something else? Hopefully they at least filed FIRs to start investigations to bring responsible parties to jail. This burning down achieves not much. I grew up in GJ decades ago and all green areas celebrated pakistanis then. Now it's even worse.
Without real prosecutions for treason and life time jail sentences, there's hardly anything worthy in this sort of news.
Pakistan flag hoisted on polling day in Assam, locals burn it down chanting ‘Pakistan Murdabad’, ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’: Details https://www.opindia.com/2021/04/pakista ... n-it-down/

As per reports, the flag was discovered at around 9 AM in the morning. It was hoisted on a bamboo stick on a mud hill along the roadside. Soon, several people gathered to catch a glimpse of the flag. They have accused unidentified miscreants of destroying the unity of Rangua.

Incorrect. The destruction of Vidyasagar statue tilted 10 seats to TMC.
And they did the destruction. No investigation or arrest of perpetrators.
Please to explain. Why is TMC against Vidyasagar?
It was just a strategy to damage BJP in Parliament election. They knew BJP going to win 25-30 seats. They succeeded in reducing it to 18 seats using dirty tricks.
Coupta is angry with Kerala Xians and church ... are they tilting to BJP?
Yes. LDF is Empowering Muslims to love jihad on all and not just Hindus.
So there is seeking support from NaMo.
Will they tilt in enough numbers to make a difference. Unless BJP has 10-15 seats, they can't control narrative. Time for BJP to gather some TV media in TN/AP/TG and KL and also MH
An internal assessment of the first two rounds of polling in Bengal by the BJP leadership has revealed that the party has done very well and has gained a clear lead over the Trinamool.
The BJP has decided to build on this and pull out all stops to post a clean electoral sweep. The next four weeks till April-end will see the saffron party upping the ante and its top leadership intensifying their campaign in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has already addressed six mega rallies since the first one at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on March 7, will come to Bengal more frequently.
The Prime Minister will be addressing two more rallies in this state on Saturday (3 April) and with that, he would have addressed eight rallies in a span of four weeks.
Top BJP sources said that Modi will intensify his engagement with Bengal and may address as many as 10 to 12 more rallies over the next four weeks till campaigning for the final phase of polls ends on 27 April.
The BJP’s assessment based on surveys and extensive feedback from the ground level is that there is widespread and intense anti-incumbency against Mamata Banerjee and her party among the masses.
“The Trinamool’s attempts at largescale rigging of the polls in the first two phases has been effectively checkmated. That will give more and more people the confidence to vote against the Trinamool in the next six phases,” said BJP state chief Dilip Ghosh.
To instil this confidence (to vote against the Trinamool), the BJP has to project power. And one way of doing so is to bring out all weapons in its armoury and increase and intensify its firepower.
That’s why attacks on Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool will become sharper. “The charges of tolabazi, tanashahi and tushtikaran (extortion, terror and appeasement) have found wide resonance among the people of Bengal. We will make our campaign highlighting Mamata’s mis-governance, appeasement and the crimes by her functionaries sharper now,” said BJP Bengal minder Kailash Vijayvargiya.
Have been following TN's political affairs for about three months now. The amount of hatred created for Modi is unbelievable. Tughlaq's Gurumoorthy ji says this peaked in 2019 but has subsided since then(however, it is still significant). A lot of BJP/Modi supporters have been doing their bit in countering this however, unorganized resistance can only go so far. The state BJP unit was an elitist piece(my subjective opinion) until Murugan ji started Vel yatra. For the uninitiated Murugan is from reserved category(so additional marks there)
With addition of Annamalai the party has a new wave of acceptance across the board particularly the youth. I have been listening to him and the guy has all the makings of a PM(of course it is far fetched), very articulate, equally good at English, Hindi, Kannada, apart from beautiful Tamil(unlike 20 mark receiving Stalin -- yes he got that in Tamil in his tenth standar), checks the boxes on education(Mech.Eng from PSG and IIM MBA), successful IPS officer in K'taka, Gounder caste, extremely fit and energetic and of course quite down to earth(at least until now) and above all an unabashed admirer of Modi.
The regular firepower in the arsenal like Vanathi ji, Khusboo ji are firing in sync with the State BJP leadership and CT Ravi ji has done a great job as the state BJP incharge.
TN politics will definitely see a great change if BJP sends 5-7 MLAs to the assembly and my desire is to see Murugan, Annamalai, Vanathi, Khushboo, Saravanan, MR Gandhi winning(they have the best chances). This crew will tear DMK apart everywhere, of course in parallel the corrupt DMK ecosystem needs to be dismantled brick by brick. Just hoping and praying for NDA victory in TN, if it goes to DMK forget the state.

Yes, I recall in 2014, while I was travelling from bangalore to Hosur in TN by TN state transport bus, some dravidian karyakarta hopped in the bus and began to loudly rant in an impassioned way about how Modi killed billions of muslims in gujrat. One thing I specifically remember is that the guy repeatedly using his one hand to depict a baby bump on his belly and the other hand as an axe that is out to kill the baby. He was trying to peddle the fake narrative of how the barbaric yindoos cut the bellies of pregnant women in gujarat, under modi.
After his speech he got down and took another bus and started again.

A Hindu awakening has taken place and more are starting to wonder why they are being constantly abused and targeted when all they have done life long is keep their heads down, broken no laws, and unfailingly continue to pay their taxes, just like their parents before them did.
this twisted and depraved behavior is no longer being tolerated.
and very soon, a day will come when there will be a backlash, leading to the re educatation of such mentally deviant perverts.
such degenerates are usually born because the abortion was unsuccessful.

Best thing is not to argue to the accusation logically, but to point out that Abraham tried to sacrifice his own son. Of course the son survived, but then, so did Sita.
Another Expose by Sri Shafiqul Islam of Arambagh TV - exposing the lastest trick by TMC, probably suggested by PK.
The two top Bengali dailies in WB are Anandabazar Patrika (of ABP Group) and Bartaman Patrika (of Bartaman Group).
In Hooghly district people woke up this morning only to see Bartaman Patrika carried an insert - a (fake) page of Anandabazar Patrika showing an opinion poll suggesting that the TMC candidate is way ahead of the rival BJP candidate.
Once the local BJP activists gherao-ed one of the newpaper sellers, they got nervous and divulged the names behind this sinister plot, who happen to be local TMC panchayat head and deputy head.
I only understood a little of the video, but even then it is obvious that the TMC is desperate, putting high end color reproductions of a fake newspaper page in large numbers inside another newspaper indicates access to a lot of resources and seems that no expense is being spared, no idea is too radical and no means too low to accomplish the ends.
Imagine if after all this TMC does end up winning, it will be nightmare for WB, especially for all those that dared to dream of freedom from the tyranny of the minority.
