Why can we not heat up/boil the LoC … these brave TFTA types won’t dare to set foot in PoJK doesn’t matter how much coins are thrown at them for KPL. Rats multiply massively if they get a small window of opportunity. That’s what our border paar friends would do. We argue too much with words … a few firecrackers now and then will avoid Bakis from thinking all is well and having the guts to think about KPL and other ideas.

Why a former Canadian diplomat called Imran 'utter fraud, shameless liar'
Alexander has been an outspoken critic of Pakistani meddling in Afghanistan
Web Desk August 02, 2021
Ever since US President Joe Biden announced that his country would pull out troops from Afghanistan by August-end, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been sermonising about the shortcomings of US policy in the region.
Last week, Imran Khan said the US should have started talks with the Taliban when there were over 150,000 NATO troops in the country. Imran was quoted by Afghanistan's TOLO News as saying, "The Americans should have started talking to the Taliban from a position of strength when there were 150,000 NATO troops in Afghanistan... That was the time to talk with them. Talking to them when there is an exit date given, and when there are few thousand troops left, how do they expect the Taliban would now compromise?”
Not surprisingly, Imran's comments have not gone down well in the West. On Saturday, Chris Alexander, a former Canadian diplomat who is now a politician, hit out at Imran, describing him as an "utter fraud".
Alexander tweeted, "This man is an utter fraud: a shameless liar of no ability & a charlatan who has been among the Taliban’s most mindless, kneejerk boosters for decades. A pariah like Putin, he deserves only severe sanctions & one day a docket in The Hague." Alexander, who served as Canada's minister for citizenship and immigration from 2013 to 2015, had been Canada's ambassador to Afghanistan from 2003 to 2005.
Alexander has been an outspoken critic of Pakistani meddling in Afghanistan. In December 2019, he wrote an article in The Globe and Mail that argued the war in Afghanistan was "doomed from the start".
In the article, Alexander argued, "U.S. failure to confront Pakistan over its proxy war in Afghanistan has arguably been the greatest blow to U.S. strategic prestige so far in the 21st century, a sin of omission and an act of self-harm on a par with the post-2003 Iraq war."
In the article, Alexander had opined successive US presidents—from George W. Bush to Barack Obama to Donald Trump—could have opted for a new approach to deal with Pakistan, but did not do so.

ISLAMABAD:The Foreign Office on Monday condemned remarks by former Canadian Minister Chris Alexander regarding Pakistan's role in the Afghan peace process, saying such remarks depict a complete lack of understanding of the issue as well as ignorance of facts on the ground.
"We strongly condemn the unwarranted comments by former Canadian Minister Chris Alexander, making unfounded and misleading assertions about Pakistan’s role in #AfghanPeaceProcess," FO spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said on Twitter.
"Such remarks betray a complete lack of understanding of the issue as well as ignorance of facts on the ground," he added.
The spokesperson further said such remarks were 'deplorable as the world has now acknowledged Pakistan's and Prime Minister Imran Khan's stance that there is no military solution to the Afghan issue and an inclusive and broad-based political settlement is required.

I was mentioning ads Facebook shows on Facebook and Instagram and Google shows on websites and search results. These are most often pay-per-click. Advertisers have to pay each time someone clicks on them. So whenever you click on any such ad by jihadis, they have to pay money to facebook/google.g.sarkar wrote:Sirji, jamwal wrote: BTW, whenever you see such ads, click on them and make them lose a bit of money every time you do so. I first tried to hide such ads, but for some reason facebook started to show more such ads. So I started clicking them whenever I see them. More you click on them, more such ads are displayed. But I don't mind anymore as atleast they are losing a bit of money.
Just disable scripts and trackers for the site which pops up after clicking on ad and close it a few seconds later without don't pay anything. Blocking scripts is not mandatory, but provides a layer of safety and anonymity wrt actual advertiser.
Youtube is different as the channel owner gets paid per view and per click. Click and watch ads on channels you want to support. Skip them on channels you don't like.

The name Qureshi is derived from the arabic Koreysh or Quraysh tribe, the first ones to lay down their arms and surrender. This is the tribe from which Muhammed is descended. Pakis somehow love to connect their fictitious family lineage with Arabia in general and the Koreysh tribe in particular. Pakistan’s security adviser complains Joe Biden has not called Imran Khan
Aha! The China card! The usual gun-to-the-head tactic pakis usually employ to get concessions may not work this time.

Pakistan’s national security adviser has complained about US president Joe Biden’s failure to contact Prime Minister Imran Khan as Washington seeks help to stop the Taliban taking over Afghanistan following US troop withdrawals.
The cold shoulder from Washington comes as the Taliban has captured swaths of territory across Afghanistan in a ruthless offensive emboldened by the US pullout. The government of Afghan president Ashraf Ghani has openly criticised Pakistan for supporting the Taliban to secure its strategic interests in the region.
But despite calls from Khan to be a partner for peace and broaden US-Pakistan relations beyond Afghanistan, Biden has yet to call him since taking office this year.
Moeed Yusuf, Pakistan’s national security adviser, told the Financial Times in an interview at Pakistan’s embassy in Washington. “We’ve been told every time that . . . [the phone call] will happen, it’s technical reasons or whatever. But frankly, people don’t believe it,” he said.
Pakistan has options,” he added, refusing to elaborate.
Pakistan has cultivated deep ties with its “iron brother” China
Under the Trump administration, the US severed $2bn in security assistance to Pakistan after Donald Trump accused his ally of “nothing but lies & deceit”.

Synopsis:
The Kashmir story is the story of few interconnected stories viz.
The Kashmir conflict has become a ‘family business’ run by set of families, and like a family business is passed on from one generation to the next generation.
The way the conflict is designed, it has generated growing number of stakeholders from set of families to the Gora politicians to the Pakistani establishment in a manner, that it would be useful for them to keep the conflict in the perpetual flux.
The Kashmir narrative is a globally sponsored narrative, where every so-called human-rights ‘concern’ on Kashmir is at the end connected with a nexus, put in place by the Pak establishment.
Kashmir has become everyone’s concern except of Kashmiris. There are virtually no Kashmiris with any worthwhile connection with Kashmir involved in the discussion of Kashmir. If there were, they have been side-lined.
The centre of gravity for Kashmir narrative has gradually shifted from the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) to Thrace & Asia Minor (Turkey)
Bottom line:This change in 2016 has salient ramifications for the conflict narrative in South Asia. However, the story traces its origin back to key players when the seeds of conflict were sown in Kashmir by Jamaat-e-Islami players; and it has continued to be played by the same set of people through their next generation.
I hope Gaurav Arya and others pick this thread and run with it. Paki goose will be cooked for sure. Paki lurks. Explain this one.Hence, it would be criminally naïve for not only Indians but particularly for Kashmiris to assume that Pakistan and the net cast by its establishment would have any interest in resolving Kashmir issue. For the Pak establishment, Kashmir conflict has become a Goose that lays golden eggs, and unlike the stupid old lady, it has no intention of killing the goose.

PM appoints a civilian to run CPEC affairs
Khalid Mansoor takes over the reins as Lt Gen (retd) Bajwa bows out
Shahbaz Rana August 03, 2021
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday appointed Khalid Mansoor as his special assistant on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor affairs, resulting in the resignation of chairman of CPEC Authority, Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa.
“[The] prime minister is pleased to appoint Khalid Mansoor as special assistant to the prime minister on CPEC affairs with immediate effect,” according to a notification issued by the PM Office. The appointment will be in an honorary capacity, it added.
Mansoor has not been appointed as the chairman of CPEC Authority, which is a statutory position under the CPEC Authority Act of 2021. Under the law and the Rules of the Business of the 1973, the special assistants do not enjoy any powers and are invited in cabinet meetings only on “special invitations”.
Mansoor’s appointment symbolises with giving the control of CPEC back to the civilians, which appears in line with the strategy of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who was against setting up the CPEC Authority.
Highly placed sources told The Express Tribune that the decision to replace Bajwa had been taken some time back and the government was looking for a replacement. They said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to appoint someone else to run the CPEC affairs. But the premier accepted Planning Minister Asad Umar’s choice who has a long association with Mansoor.
The government wanted to appoint somebody as the new head of CPEC matters that has more entrepreneur skills to deal with the Chinese companies, according to a senior government functionary.
The government did not want to make the changes before the Joint Cooperation Committee of the CPEC meeting, the sources said. The JCC was scheduled for July 16 but was postponed after an attack on Chinese nationals.
Soon after the PM’s decision, Bajwa took the Twitter to announce his decision to stepdown.
“I bow my head before Allah Almighty for giving me an opportunity to raise and steer the important institution of CPEC Authority as one window for all CPEC projects, charting the future direction,” Bajwa stated. It would not have been possible without full confidence and support of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government, he added.

Pakistan Security Adviser Complains Biden Has Not Called PM Imran Khan Since Taking Office
Pakistan's national security adviser slammed US President Joe Biden for failing to contact Imran Khan as Washington seeks assistance in preventing the Taliban.
Srishti Goel, 4th August, 2021
Pakistan's national security adviser has slammed US President Joe Biden for failing to contact Prime Minister Imran Khan as Washington seeks assistance in preventing the Taliban from seizing control of Afghanistan after US troop withdrawal. The United States' cold shoulder comes as the Taliban has seized large areas of land across Afghanistan in a merciless drive bolstered by the US withdrawal. President Ashraf Ghani's government has publicly accused Pakistan of aiding the Taliban in order to protect its strategic interests in the area, according to reports.
Joe Biden has not called Imran Khan: Pakistan
In recent years, Washington has relied on Pakistan to assist in bringing senior Taliban officials to the negotiating table and securing a deal to leave the country with few attacks on US troops. Despite Imran Khan's requests for a broadening of US-Pakistan relations beyond Afghanistan, Biden has not called him since assuming office this year, Pakistan NSA stated.
The US president hasn't spoken to the prime minister of such a crucial country, which the US claims is make-or-break in some circumstances, in some respects, in Afghanistan — Pakistan is still trying to figure out what's going on, Pakistan's national security adviser, Moeed Yusuf, informed the US media.
