headline in paki yawn, (not giving link).

In military shuffle, Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum replaces Lt Gen Faiz Hameed as top spymaster
faiz hameed has "paid the price" for his allegedly "unauthorised" actions in being instrumental in forming a taliban govt that is paki friendly

several paki "surrender specialist" senoir afsaran have been promoted to the next higher rank and the prices of corner plots have skyrocketed.

It might be premature to think that Faiz has been transferred in disgrace. He is now Corps Commander of the Peshawar Corps, which is a prime post under current circumstances. Also, Corps command is a requirement for becoming COAS of Paki Army, so this might be because he is being prepared for that role. However, time will tell.

Nothing to worry. It is another RAA conspiracy onlee.
RAW trying to malign Pak Army officers, says Gen (r) Shafaat as Pandora Papers scandal intensifes
ISLAMABAD – Lieutenant General (r) Shafaat Shah has reacted after being named in Pandora Papers terming it another Indian-backed conspiracy to malign the Pakistan Army. Shah took to his official handle to clear the air on the development, saying that he was falsely linked to a London property purchased through an offshore company and that this attempt was backed by the Indian intelligence agency.

“I had bought a flat in London by selling off my plot in Lahore with a title of off-shore. No other business. This is legal as per UK laws. It was reported to Army Authorities and reflected in tax returns. No connection with Akbar Asif. It’s price was less than half of what is quoted,” Shah tweeted.

He has spent 2 years in the position and was transferred to see that he is eligible for the top post. The continuous turmoil and ongoing security situation is only applicable for extending COAS. Doesn't apply to continuity in other important positions :D

for the rest of the world may be but Pakis follow Mughal rule model. Everyone below the premiere is replaceable by everyone else 2-3 tier down the line. So everyone in these 2-3 layers is equal. Pure opportunistic selection system where fortunes can change anytime.

Pakistan's neighbours, lobbies behind US bill seeking sanctions against our country, says Shah Mahmood Qureshi

Pakistan's neighbours, lobbies behind US bill seeking sanctions against our country, says Shah Mahmood Qureshi
.........

More than 20 US Senators on Tuesday introduced the bill and demanded sanctions on the Taliban in Afghanistan and the foreign governments that support the outfit, The News International reported.

"Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and not less frequently than annually thereafter, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense and the Director of National Intelligence, shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on entities providing support to the Taliban," the legislation stated.

It further calls for an assessment of "support by state and non-state actors, including the Government of Pakistan, for the Taliban between 2001 and 2020, provision of sanctuary space, financial support, intelligence support, logistics and medical support, training, equipping, and tactical, operational, or strategic direction.

The legislation seeks to assess support by state and non-state actors, including the Pakistan government, for the 2021 offensive of the Taliban that toppled the Government of Afghanistan. (ANI)

Why was the letter from minister to his own ambassador sent in English rather than Urdu? Pakis don't really have a 2 language formula.
Is it for public consumption only? Why don't they ask shampoo boy Moeed Yusuf who is after all a double agent to have his handlers in the US arrange a meeting or call with IK?

You do realize that they view India as 20 different inimical countries, which have unfairly banded together? It is a travesty of justice that these yindoos refuse to recognize their inimical differences and break apart. That the rasam-slurping madrasi tolerates living together in the same country as the gujraati is against all natural laws and divine will, and such effrontery must be fought against.

I am not so sure. Shot-in-the-ass Ham-eid, now known as a maverick, would be a likely candidate for staging a coup. By shunting him away from 'slummabad to pisshour, Waist Bajwa has probably bought himself some breathing room.

Secondly, by appointing Anjum to replace Ham-eid as the head of ISI, Bajwa now has a fellow pakjabi in case Bajwa himself decides to overthrow the "selected" government. After all, Bajwa's tenure is about to end in a year's time.

Interesting times ahead.

Majority of the opinion is that he is being kicked up. I trust the pakjabi belief of "me first". That's why I think he has been shunted away by Bajwa from "center of gravity". Time will tell.

3 out of 7 Pak COAS have been from Baloch Regiment - 2 of them recently. Faiz Hamed is also from the Baloch Regiment. Assad Durrani (of the Spy Chronicles infamy) has alleged that he was persecuted (limited his travel, having to appear before tribunals etc) because he exposed the role of then COAS, Kayani (also from Baloch regiment) in the OBL raid and that Bajwa from the same regiment is seeking to settle scores. He wrote this in a scarcely disguised work of fiction, calling the regimental loyalty "tribal loyalty".

It remains to be seen whether 2 successive COAS would come from the same regiment, and what that would mean for other Corp Commanders. Bajwa is already close to completing 5 years tenure at the top. Will he hold on for another 2 years, or cede it to another for a couple of years, allowing a break before Faiz becomes a contender?

Sri Lankan women's cricket team cancels its tour to Pakistan.

Talks about a potential tour of Pakistan by the Sri Lankan women's team later this month have hit a stumbling block following a change in management at the PCB. As a result, the series will not be taking place in October but both boards are working to find a window for it before the 2022 ODI World Cup.

Its striking how hardly any nation except Iran directly funds terror to Israel. I think the key reason for this is Israel's ability to put its own and their adversaries skin in the game.

What I mean by this is that Israel does not hesitate in going after adversarial leadership at the topmost levels.

A key issue as I see it and I could be 100% wrong here is that - we have not been going after Pak fauj at the Jernail level deliberately. While there are daily 2-3 events in Baluchistan, FATA or Sindh - these are usually against the lowest troops and these are retaliated by NaPak as we have been seeing for the past few days in the valley.

Could it be that we and NapKa have a tacit understanding that we will not go after each others high ranking officials? We often hear rumors about unofficial understanding between the nations agencies and rules of engagement even for proxy war.

This sort of an understanding, if it exists, obviously benefits NaPakis since jernails there live a charmed life - scores of attendants, industries worth 100s of crores under their belts, US visas for their extended family and a free hand in econo-political decision making and wealth accumalation, like satraps.

For our generals, & its and here is where I may be fully wrong - but to speak plainly - we have opted for a cowardy copout since even our Generals might be hesitant to risk retaliation on themselves, perhaps the specter of Gen A S Vaidya's fate hangs over them. Hence they too have agreed to this understanding.

The only way to cut the gordian knot of low intensity, high pain proxy war is if one side chooses to change the dynamic and put our skin in the game by going after the adversaries topmost leaders ie NaPak Fauj jernails. Now NaPakis would never do this - they have no incentive. Its like a king leading the vangaurd of a risky assault. So it is incumbent on our side to do this. Question is will we ever?

I feel, that just like surgical strikes gave a reality check to NaPakis on what the rules of the game can be, a leadership decapitation approach will produce similar but orders of magnitude better effect.

India government can trigger Pakistan Cricket Board collapse: Ramiz Raja
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been left high and dry in recent times with New Zealand and England pulling out of tours to the country.
Written by Tushar Bhaduri | New Delhi, October 8, 2021

Conceding that it was Indian money that was, in a way, keeping the Pakistan Cricket Board afloat and PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said India’s financial clout in the world game was the reason no other ICC member country could go against them.
In that context, Raja told a Senate Standing Committee that the Indian government can trigger a collapse of the PCB if it were so inclined.
“The PCB gets 50 percent of its funding from the ICC. The ICC conducts tournaments and the income generated from them is distributed among its member boards,” Raja told the panel.
“Now, 90 percent of the ICC funding is generated from the Indian market. In other words, Indian business houses are running Pakistan cricket. If tomorrow, the Indian Prime Minister decides that they will not fund Pakistan cricket, there’s a possibility that the PCB can collapse.”
The PCB has been left high and dry in recent times with New Zealand and England pulling out of tours to the country. The Kiwis, in fact, had arrived in Pakistan but decided to fly home literally minutes before the first One-Day International citing unspecified “security threats.”
Pakistan’s Interior minister Sheikh Rashid had alleged a conspiracy in this regard, claiming that the emails threatening the New Zealand team originated from accounts based in India.
This after virtually no international cricket taking place in Pakistan for more than a decade after a terrorist attack against the visiting Sri Lankan team in Lahore. Also, there has been no bilateral series for a decade and a half against India, the biggest draw card for any host country – and more so for Pakistan – due to frosty relations between the two countries.

Thousands demand basic facilities in Gwadar, Turbat

BEHRAM BALOCH
01 Oct, 2021

GWADAR: Thousands of people from different areas of Gwadar and Turbat on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against non-availability of basic amenities and shortage of drinking water, health, education facilities and increasing unemployment in Gwadar and other areas of Makran division.

Seneral secretary of Jamaat-i-Islami’s Balochistan chapter Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch led the protest procession in Gwadar. It later turned into a big public meeting at Shuhada Jewani Chowk.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Baloch strongly criticised the government and the authorities concerned and said that over the last 70 years the successive governments had failed to resolve basic issues of the people of Makran and Gwadar.

“We are demanding basic rights of the people of Gwadar and Turbat which have been usurped by the rulers and the people have even been deprived of drinking water, health and education facilities and since the government has allowed big trawlers to fish at Makran Coast, local fishermen were also not able to earn their livelihood.”

The JI leader said that it was the responsibility of the state to solve problems of the masses, but it had not been fulfilling its responsibilities for the last 70 years.

Video of them fighting has emerged, though some say that the video is shot at a long distance and it is actually Moeed Yusuf and Gaddi Nasheen Qureshi fighting over who should be the head gasbag to talk about foreign relations:

Then this:

U.S. No Longer Sees Itself Building ‘Broad-Based’ Relationship with Pakistan: Sherman
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman on Thursday said Washington no longer sees itself building a “broad-based relationship” with Pakistan, in a marked contradiction to Islamabad’s stated desire to expand its ties with the U.S. beyond an Afghanistan-centric view.
“We [U.S.] don’t see ourselves building our broad relationship with Pakistan and we have no interest in returning to the days of a hyphenated India, Pakistan,” she said at an event in Mumbai
Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson had claimed that Islamabad wanted a relationship with Washington that was “broad-based and forward looking, moving away from looking at it mostly from the perspective of Afghanistan.”

Purely satirical! Only in jest (or is it?).

Imran Khan Welcomes Afghan Refugees To Come And Provide Food & Shelter To Poor Pakistanis
While the whole world is shying away from taking in refugees from war torn Afghanistan which recently witnessed a coup by Taliban, Pakistan PM Imran Khan is showing a big heart by allowing Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
However, the announcement came with terms and conditions as PM Imran Khan couldn’t let go his begging habits and asked Afghans to come with their savings and use the money to provide food and shelter to poor Pakistanis in return for their safety.
While Pakistan hater Indians are mocking Imran Khan, the intellectual class has praised Imran Khan for his humanitarian decision which will help both Afghans and Pakistanis giving both Afghans and Pakistanis what they want, safety for Afghans from Taliban and end of poverty for poor Pakistanis.

More from Fauxy. :D

Russia Forms Cricket Team Overnight Only To Cancel Their Tour To Pakistan
Russia on Monday formed its cricket team overnight and announced its first tour to Pakistan and cancelled it minutes after Pakistan started celebrating the news.
Addressing a conference, Ramiz Raza, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board said that he had a meeting with Pakistan PM Imran Khan to strengthen the ties with other cricket playing nations and in the meeting, it’s been decided that Pakistan will take loan from these countries to put them under some kind of obligation so that they can’t refuse to play in Pakistan.
A Win-Win solution. Isn't Win a chini last name?

SMQ hasn't tweeted anything about his meet with Wendy Sherman. And no meeting with Niazi happened. That means kas ke danda pada hai.

Make no mistake, it was NATO that was solely propping this charade of a country since 1954. Without it, denouement should be a matter of if not when.

The only lifeline remaining are Brits, who historically backed it and now support it given the Mirpuri diaspora.
