Fasad Chaudhry is gone. Sheikh Chilli is gone. Madam Jelibi is gone. Others are about to leave. Who is going to provide light entertainment? Billoo Rani can not do it all by herself.

Imran already said he'll never accept going into exile.

So if he ends up going into exile, then does that mean Nawaz Sharif gets to come back to Pak?

Can Army afford to have too many opponents in exile at the same time? What if they all get together to gang up on Pak establishment from abroad?

Chetakji,
I must correct you, I hope you do not mind. Once a man puts on his drags, he becomes an honorary woman, and she has to be addressed as "she" as common curtsey. Once, a long time ago, I had failed to do so, and I was corrected by the "lady". Billoo Rani, when she is wearing salwar should be addressed as a lady.

He has been auditioning for the PM job in front of the Army

He did that international tour, where he blamed the west for "abandoning afghanistan and making afghanistan Pakistan's problem" (softball interviewers did not ask him about Quetta shura). Afghanistan became Pakistan's problem because Pakistan made afghanistan into a problem for everyone.

Then he came to India and talked about how his Mother talked about a secular India and how India is not secular at all.

If I were the interviewer, I would have told him that I am ready to tweet right now that I have converted to Islam or Christianity. And challenge him to tweet that he has converted to become an Ahmedi. This was the very same mother who wanted to chop up Jagmohan, proliferated nukes from Noko. More importantly she and Naseerullah Babar set up the taliban. So much for the secular "daughter of the east", she was dyed in the wool Jihadi. His grandfather did one better. Banned Ahmedis, participated in massacre of bengalis. So much for the "secular credentials"

But I digress.

Fellow's government has jailed all prominent people in Pakistan's most popular party, the PTI, and in that occasion he has called for Cashmere people's right to elect their government :rotfl:

Hey, who better to head the riyasat-e-madina than a Hafeez? Moonir is a Half-ease with the danda. Is Moonir a Mohajir? Looks very SDRE to me.

The Kaptaan yahoo will go back to riyasat-e-yahood. What is interesting is all the Lahoris/ Pakjabis of PTI have been displaying their true character of surrender monkeys when the going gets tough.

Kitne ghazi aaye, kitne ghazi gaye... as the good general said

Yawn - In another setback, Asad Umar steps down as PTI secretary general
In another significant setback to former prime minister Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Asad Umar has announced stepping down from all party positions shortly after he was released from Adiala Jail.

He announced his decision during a press conference at National Press Club in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Asad Umar said that the most dangerous thing that happened on May 9 was that military installations were attacked. "I think Imran Khan himself has best explained the army’s status in Pakistan. He said that we would have seen similar fate like Syria’s if it was not for a strong army like ours. Khan sb said that my country needs my army more than me."

^ It can also be shown as jihad to get rid of the yindoo kafir PM.

The british while giving independence to India didn't hand over the power to the rightful descendants of the Mughals. They can now right that historical wrong by making Immy the next PM of Al Bartannia.

I don't care what word we use - Nawaz went into exile, Musharraf went into exile, then Nawaz went back into exile again.

So if/when Imran has to do this, then does it mean Nawaz gets to come back? Is there any correlation/anti-correlation in their fates?

I'm not sure where Imran would get exiled to, if he had to leave Pakistan. Which other place would have him?

I also don't think he could be trusted to stay quiet while abroad. His personality wouldn't allow it. He'd start acting up again, sooner or later.

Only thing Army can do with Imran is lock him up for a long time, or else assassinate him.
Can he be given AQ Khan treatment?

Along with PTI senior leaders, its supporters in media are also getting the treatment. This is full scale suppression and intimidation of media. Can we even imagine a political party, even a regional party, getting this treatment in India? What a banana republic TSP is.
Anchorperson Sami Ibrahim 'missing' from Islamabad
Senior journalist and TV anchorperson Sami Ibrahim has gone missing from the federal capital, it emerged on Thursday. According to a statement issued by the Islamabad police, efforts are being made for the search and recovery of Ibrahim but it would be premature to draw conclusions yet.
Journalists Imran Riaz Khan and Aftab Iqbal, both staunch supporters of the PTI, were also taken into custody earlier this month. While the whereabouts of the former remain undisclosed to date, the latter has reportedly been released.
Imran Riaz is still missing after 14 days; he was picked up by police from Sialkot Airport but now police say they don’t know where he is,” wrote senior journalist Moeed Pirzada on Twitter.

Police seek travel ban on another 245 PTI men
Mohammad Asghar, Munawer Azeem, May 25, 2023

RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: The police department has sent the names of 245 PTI activists, including three former members of the provincial assembly, to the federal government for inclusion in the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), to prevent them from leaving the country.
According to sources, the Rawalpindi district police have around 319 names on their wanted list, and have forwarded the names of 245 PTI activists, as well as 74 individuals that have yet to be arrested, to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for inclusion in the no-fly list.
On Tuesday, Lahore police sought the inclusion of 746 PTI leaders in the no-fly list, with the aim of imposing a one-month restriction on their foreign travel. After the request made by the Rawalpindi police, the total number of PTI activists who may be included on the list stands at 991.
Under the PNIL, individuals on the police wanted list are prevented from flying out of the country for 30 days, according to a senior police official.
Nearly 1,000 party activists recommended for no-fly list so far
After reviewing the cases of those arrested, the police finalised the names of 245 individuals who were detained during and after the May 9 violence. These names were then sent to the FIA to restrict their travel via air, land or sea routes.
Among those still wanted by the police but yet to be arrested are ex-MPA of PTI Rashid Hafeez, the nephew of Sheikh Rasheed; Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, who was previously arrested and later released; and Umar Tanveer Butt.
As per the information provided to the federal government, it was revealed that 31 suspects have been arrested by the RA Bazar police in connection with the attack on GHQ, while 27 others wanted by the police are still at large.

How many PTI leaders have parted ways with Imran Khan so far?
Party bigwigs including Shireen Mazari, Fawad Chaudhry announce quitting politics, former ruling party
Web Desk, May 24, 2023

The violent protests on May 9 following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on corruption charges have dealt a major blow to the former ruling party as many leaders including bigwigs — Shireen Mazari and Fawad Chaudhry — publicly denounced the riots by supporters and parted ways with the party.
The unruly supporters and workers stormed and torched state installations including Lahore Corps Commander house, General Headquarters (GHQ) and others during the nearly three-day-long protests that also claimed at least 8 lives and injured dozens of others.
Subsequently, the incumbent coalition government suspended internet services and deployed army troops to maintain law and order situation in the country.
Following the unprecedented attacks on defence and public properties, the crackdown was launched on the PTI to detain the suspect involved in the vandalism with the country’s top civil-military leadership vowing to try rioters under relevant laws of the country including the Army Act.
Since then, several PTI leaders including close aides of Khan have announced quitting the party over May 9 vandalism with some blaming Khan’s policies for the attacks on the military installations.
Here is the province-wise breakdown of PTI leaders who parted ways with the deposed prime minister who was removed from power in April last year:

On the one hand, it sounds like tide has turned more fully in army's favour, with Imran on the retreat

But on the other hand, Pak economy still going down and down, with no turnaround in sight

This fits my longtime prognosis that Pakistan will end up like China's other attack dog, North Korea -- so a starving public living under ruthless military elite

What happens to Pak diaspora? Do they just bow their heads and turn a blind eye? Will they just haplessly migrate their as many family members as possible to UK, Canada, Norway, etc?
Pak elites laugh when Indian embassies in these countries are attacked, but what happens when diaspora hatred for Army sees their embassies under siege?

Furthermore, if Imran has supporters/sympathizers in the Army, it's mainly among the lower-rank officers, who are not enriched by the business empires run by the corrupt army elites. So the question is -- will Army rulers have to spread more wealth to the rest of the lower ranks, in order to keep hold on power? And if so, then how will they accomplish that?

A-o-A (Non-resident) Bakistani per capita income increases year on year (in PKR terms)

Yawn - Average income drops to $1,568
Pakistan’s economy experienced a notable decline in its GDP size in dollar terms, growth rate and per capita income during the outgoing 2022-23, marking the slowest expansion in the country’s overall output over the past four years.

The per capita income in dollar terms fell to $ 1,568 in FY23 from $ 1,766 in the previous year and $ 1,677 in FY21. This suggests the deterioration of the standard of living and well-being of almost all segments of society with a sharp decline in personal incomes.
Considering USD to PKR exchange rates it is PKR 287,858 (year 2021), PKR 375,648 (year 2022), PKR 450,016 (year 2023)

It is hard to replicate a North Korea-type regime in Pakiland. We are talking about a country with 25 million reasonably disciplined people vs a country with 230 million unruly Abduls and their donkeys. Plus there is a religious component that is missing in North Korea. Paki's will indulge in a suicide bombing in the name of Allah, NK citizens will not do that. Therefore it is important to pacify the Abduls in Pakiland. Also, Paki Abduls are very saleable to the highest bidder. Heck, even the generals are saleable. I think this is the beginning of the balkanization of Pakiland.

To stop hurting, global economy should waive off the debts and pay TSP $500 billion as compensation for global warming.
Pakistan’s debt burden also hurting global economy
WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s struggle to service its debt is a disaster for the country, but it’s not very good for the rest of the world either, says economist Michael Pettis.

Mr Pettis, a senior fellow at Carnegie Endowment, Washington, and a professor of finance at Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in Beijing, made this argument while responding to a series of tweets by Atif Mian, a professor of economics, public policy and finance at Princeton University, on Pakistan’s debt position and its consequences for the economy.
Mr Pettis, however, urged the creditors to review their policies as well because the debt burden was suppressing Pakistan’s contribution to global demand by effectively converting its demand into unwanted global savings.
Another economist, who identifies himself only by his first name Dennis  , warns that “Pakistan is heading towards sovereign default. The consequences of that will not be good for anyone.”

New PTI has been created and 'surprisingly' it is very TSPA pasand. This has so far been more predictable than a 90s Bollywood movie script.
PTI Haqiqi faction emerges out of Imran Khan’s party
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Haqiqi has been formed after a number of PTI leaders left the party over May 9 violence. PTI) Haqiqi Chairman Rao Yasir, who previously served as PTI Multan district Youth Wing president, strongly condemned the wrong decisions that have put the country in a critical situation.

Rao said Pakistan Army is the protector of the borders and security institutions told Imran Khan about Bushra Bibi and Buzdar's corruption tales. “The youth were brought to such a situation that they attacked the installations of sensitive institutions,” he added. He condemned the events of May 9 and demanded that people involved must be punished.

“I announce the formation of PTI Haqiqi on Martyrs' Day,” Rao Yasir said.
