FTP was around since 1971The state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) has suspended 17 officials for failing to ensure ‘proper’ coverage of PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Lahore visit on the channel last week.
Strangely, the broadcast failure was due to the non-availability of an advanced laptop required to upload the video footage through file transfer protocol (FTP).

Noose must be tightening around Imran Khan's neck as his actions are getting more and more bizarre with each passing day. In a barrage of tweets he has called out Biden administration of orchestrating his ouster ! This guy is a liability to the establishment so he will either be exiled or imprisoned or wajib-ul-cutled soon.

Kaptaan has strapped on his soosai vest, grabbed his AK and gone full jeeehaaarrrddd!!! On Massa.
The funny thing is that Bajwa was the real instigator of this change. Kaptaan does not have testimonials to call the Jernails and Kernails out. Instead he is yelling at massa.
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Imran has got to be out of his mind to take panga openly with Uncle Sam. Even if he somehow manages to comeback to power in the elections next year, he now has to kiss goodbye to any future loans from World Bank/IMF. Forget loans. Uncle Sam just has to stop the Pakistani textile based exports to US/EU zone and you will have Porkis literally eating each other out for survival.
So what is Imran's for survival - A full scale colony of China? Are the gernails OK with it?
How far would the Army/ISI take his shenanigans before putting him on the lamp post?

He couldnt have gone this far against US without support from the establishment. By blaming US, he is indirectly blaming Bajwa and co. as they are the local agents to effect the wish.
I think there is a section in the establishment that is supporting him. May be its China vs US in the establishment. Old guard whose kids, families, wealth and business is settled in Massa vs the new crop that is yet to get benefitted that way.

I suppose one must ask, who paid $8 billion immediately after the regime change? Are the Saudi’s the messenger boy for United States and China? Or is this a Saudi plot for all the indignities heaped on them by im the dim ( trade mark).CalvinH wrote:He couldnt have gone this far against US without support from the establishment. Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
What is new in Pakistan is that the 'Establishment' has now split and has two clear factions, one of which is supporting him. Not the first time that there have been such conflicts but the first time that the split is so big and deeply ideological (basically the seeds that were planted by Zia and Hamid Gul etc have now borne fruit) and also the first time that it is so out in the open.CalvinH wrote:He couldnt have gone this far against US without support from the establishment. Imran might be counting on Biden himself being evicted soon (in terms of his personal attacks).
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
They were not 'paid $8 billion', don't believe the spin in the Paki media. All that the Saudis did was rollover existing loans and extend some deferred payments facility for oil imports.rags wrote:I suppose one must ask, who paid $8 billion immediately after the regime change? Shireen Mazari writes to UN over 'misuse of blasphemy laws' against Imran
Javed Hussain, May 4, 2022
Former human rights minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) core committee member Shireen Mazari has written to special rapporteurs of the UN, calling for their intervention to cease the Pakistani government's "misuse of the blasphemy law" against Imran Khan and senior PTI leaders.
The letter dated May 2, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, has been addressed to the UN's special rapporteur on extrajudicial summary or arbitrary executions, special rapporteur on the freedom of opinion and expression, and special rapporteur on the freedom of religion and belief.
It stated that Pakistan had been engulfed in a political crisis ever since the Imran Khan-led government was ousted in the aftermath of a "regime change scheme" and replaced with a government led by Shehbaz Sharif, who has been named in "multiple money-laundering and corruption cases and is out on bail".
In March, Mazari recalled, Imran's government had concluded in a cabinet meeting that there had been a "US-backed regime-change conspiracy" against the former prime minister assisted by the "establishment" and "opposition political parties".
"This conclusion was premised upon the content of a cipher message received from Pakistan's envoy in Washington DC detailing a formal meeting between Mr Donald Lu of the State Department with the envoy and 3 other members of the embassy along with note-takers on both sides."
The cipher message, the letter stated, reflected the anger of the US over Imran's visit to Russia just as the Ukrainian military conflict was about to begin. It continued that if the no-trust motion against Imran succeeded, "all would be forgiven".

4 Pak-linked terrorists on the way to Telangana for arms drop arrested in Haryana
Source: PTI, May 05, 2022
Foiling a major terror plot, four suspected Pakistan-linked terrorists on their way to Telangana to deliver explosives were nabbed in Haryana's Karnal on Thursday and arms, ammunition and IEDs were recovered from their vehicle, senior police officials said.
They were allegedly in touch with a Pakistan-based man who is involved in terror activities and who used to send locations through an app to them to deliver explosives and weapons, Superintendent of Police of Karnal Ganga Ram Punia told reporters.
Director General of Haryana Police P K Agrawal said the four were arrested in a joint operation carried out early morning by the police forces of Haryana and Punjab based on intelligence inputs of central agencies.
"In an intelligence-led operation, Punjab police and Haryana police arrested four persons today at Karnal with the recovery of 3 IEDs weighing 2.5 kg each and one pistol. Further investigation is on," the Punjab police said in a tweet.
The four -- all residents of Punjab -- were nabbed near Bastara toll plaza after four vehicles of Haryana Police intercepted them, Inspector General of Police of Karnal Range Satender Kumar Gupta said.
"Three containers each weighing 2.5 kg suspected to contain RDX, a Pakistan-make pistol and 31 live cartridges, besides Rs 1.3 lakh in cash have been seized from the vehicle," Gupta told PTI over the phone.
After the vehicle was intercepted in Karnal, a bomb disposal squad and forensic experts reached the spot.
A case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act and the Explosive Substances Act has been registered.
The Haryana police has constituted a special investigation team to conduct further probe in the matter.
Punia told reporters that the four -- identified as Bhupinder Singh from village Bhatian in Ludhiana and Gurpreet Singh, Parminder Singh and Amandeep Singh from Vinijoke village in Zira, Ferozepur -- were headed to Adilabad in Telangana to deliver a consignment of explosives.
"They were in touch with a Pakistan-based man Harvinder Singh Rinda, who is involved in terror activities and who used to send locations through an app to them to deliver explosives and weapons. Rinda used to drop weapons and explosives at a pre-designated location in the fields in Ferozepur with the help of drones," he said, adding, "We are ascertaining the terrorist outfit with which they were associated."

what do these pakis think....
That the mughals made the existing constituencies or what..
they are simply pissed that the earlier constituencies that were biased towards making the valley more electorally weighted even when it was smaller than the jammu region was going to last for ever.
It was fraudulently weighted in such a way that the sunni jehadi dominated valley was the only one area able to produce all the cashmere CMs.

^This reaction is actually good as it changes nothing and means nothing to anybody of any significance but proves to any sane person that the existing setup was pro-Paki/pro-Islamist and the delimitation was very much required.
However, I don't understand why India lets so many things happening in POK slide and remains silent while maintaining a defensive posture diplomatically. We should throw our diplomatic heft behind taking up the many injustices in POJK.

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Folks like Richard Fox Young (of Princeton Seminary) has his students working in those same areas. Conversion missionaries. Most probably they and ISI are working hand in glove with the Naxals. There were big riots in Bhainsa where Hindu homes were burnt in large numbers by a few radical Muslims. Burnt homes were built 60-100 years even further back. They were living there at least for 100 years or more yet they are not aadivaasi. TRS/MIM unholy alliance plus Naxals and missionaries makes that area a fertile ground for ISI to dabble in.Aditya_V wrote:Question is why Adilabad, are arms/ explosives to Naxals also coming from Pakistan, are all BIF operations cordinated, something the Indian public is blissfully unaware of.
Even Rahul Gandhi MP also used the same terminology aadivaasi.
