How 1 momin gets 4 ayesha, yet the ratio of momin to ayesha is maintained? Simple, only a fraction of momin has 1 ayesha, and through a age bracket, momin and ayesha ratio maybe 1:1, he marries a younger ayesha. The younger momin thus marries yet another more younger ayesha. That is how this balance is maintained. Of course it is helped by love jihad or ayesha being rotated after divorce/widowhood etc.

Fanneji,
The problem of having too few Ayeshas many Abduls also occurs with the new Mormons of the US, which propagates multiple wives to obtain heaven. They solve it by expelling young male members of the congregation, the Ayeshas are given to older and richer members of the group. These young boys are forced to leave a society that is kept apart from the mainstream by force, and made to enter a society that they are not mentally prepared for. As a result there is great "Entfremdung" that can often lead to failure and suicides. The Peaceful have other ways of getting rid of excess males, IT sector services (leading to deaths in J&K), jobs away from home in the Middle East, seeking political asylum in the Western Countries, illegal immigration to richer countries, military service all help to alleviate the problem of excess males. Once the young person (now an older person) has earned his fortune he returns back and finds a young wife to cohabit.

Further some young females are married to the divine book. And some may extend their amorous attentions to populations other than adult human females.

A further anthropological query is who does halala? Is there a brigade? And do they require witnesses?

Why are western Margaret Mead types not illuminating these issues?

Well temp wives and GFs are procured via love jihad, kafir trafficking, teen M/F abuse etc. at industrial scale. All the inbreeding also means fertility and quality might be questionable so not everyone can have harems and families specially with unstable professions of puncture, taxi, kebab stall etc involved

I doubt if temp wives/GFs are available to the young and poor. They get their women after embracing shahadat, 72 virgin hoors every night, that is the beauty of the system. In the mean time they have to do without. Remember the interrogation of IT specialist Ajmal Kasab? When the interrogator suggested if Kasab had done some hanky-panky on the side, he was horrified. Unlimited sex is reserved only in heaven for them.
Love Jihad type of thing would be appropriate for the middle class or the rich boys destined for a Hindu second or third wife, not the abject poor destined to explode themselves.

Why aren't you paying hainji? TSP did not create these floods. Developed countries and kuffars did. So they should stop scratching around and pliss to pay 999 billion dollars to bakis for the losses.
Unicef regrets $39m appeal ‘less than a third funded’
ISLAMABAD: The United Nations’ children’s fund (Unicef) has regretted that its funding appeal of $39 million for Pakistan’s flood-hit children is still less than a third funded and that needs of the children will only continue to grow.

“The world needs to come together and help the children in Pakistan. Together we can save lives by delivering life-saving health, nutrition and education services to every child in Pakistan who needs it the most,” it said.

Pro-govt tribal elder shot dead in Khyber
LANDI KOTAL: In a shocking development, a pro-government tribal elder was gunned down in a crowded marketplace in Khyber tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Wednesday. Police told The Express Tribune that in the crowded Qamaber Khel Bazaar unidentified men opened fire at the motorcar of Munsif Khan who was traveling with his nephew Qadir. A passerby was also injured in the firing.
“Haji Munsif was an active member of Amar Bil Maroof organization founded by his relative Haji Namdar in Khyber in 2005. This outfit was considered pro-government and didn’t allow TTP to operate in the area for which Namdar paid the price with his life.

Haji Namdar was shot dead in an attack claimed by TTP outside his madrassah. Later the outfit was dissolved when government banned all organizations,” said a local resident, adding that on Wednesday a large Jirga of all clans of Khyber was held on Ring Road in Khyber and Haji Munsif attended it too.

“The main agenda of the Jirga was to work for the peace in the district and block the return of militancy. On his way back his vehicle was ambushed by miscreants who escaped after the successful attack,”
he said, adding that Munsif was considered very active in the area and was an influential man.

The banias are not helping.
No help offered, or asked for from India after floods: FM Bilawal
NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Wednesday that India did not reach out to help Pakistan as unprecedented flooding in the country devastated infrastructure and affected over 33 million people.

In an interview with France 24 in New York, the Pakistan Peoples Party chairman in response to a question said that the neighboring country has not helped Pakistan and Pakistan has also not asked for help either.

Re-talibanising K-P
Terrorism is once again raising its ugly head in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, triggering a sense of insecurity among people. Reports from Waziristan, Bajaur, Mohmand and Swat indicate that members of banned organisations are regrouping for carrying out fresh attacks on their opponents, including Peace Committee members and local ANP leaders. But the law enforcers seem to be in a passive mode.
At least 247 attacks on security forces have been reported in K-P in the first six months this year. Besides, there have been incidents of targeted killing, criminal intimidation and extortion.

While these events are being orchestrated by organisations bent upon forcing their own model of governance based on a narrow interpretation of Sharia, it is the lack of will to implement laws promulgated from time to time that has served to encourage militants and outlaws to act with impunity. Despite being empowered under Criminal Procedure Code, Pakistan Penal Code, Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, Prevention of Electronic Crime ( PECO) Anti Money Laundering Act, the state apparatus has yet to be fully operational.

Although the Constitution bars private militias and armed non-state actors and reserves the use of violence only for state, this is not so in practice.
And in recent times, the release of terrorists and criminals involved in waging war against the state and accused of murder and other heinous crimes; lifting of ban on proscribed organisations; and allowing them to mainstream and contest elections depict erosion of the state writ. Although in return, the TTP has committed to abandon violence, such promises have, in the past, proved bubbles the water. The situation warrants an operation like on the lines of Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul-Fasaad.

I am afraid our "hindu hrudya samrat" will do a masterstroke by resuming ties & trade with Pakistan under the presumption of becoming "vishva manava" to get Nobel piss price.
i am happy to learn that i was proven wrong. Here is the the inter-view of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's interview with France 24 in New York published in Dawn
Bilawal was asked if the neighbouring country had offered any help and whether Pakistan asked for any. He replied in the negative to both the queries.

On the current state of relations with India, he said: “We have a long and complicated history … unfortunately the India today is a changed India and is no longer the secular India promised by its founding fathers for all its citizens.

“It is increasingly becoming a Hindu-supremacist India at the expense of its Christian and Muslim minorities … not only within India but unfortunately in the disputed region of Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”
well all these days secular India meant appeasement of Muslims. but today I learnt the alias of that too. now secularism not only mean appeasement of Muslims, putting down Hindu interests but also giving money to Pakistan when ever it asks so that it can divert the money it has left with to purchase arms and pay terrorist to kill Hindus in India. :rotfl:

Sherry Rahman is right. Bakistan has no mentionable industries to cause any pollution. (Let us forget pindi channa related pollution for a moment). This climate-shlimate change whatever is a YYY conspiracy to flood TSP. If not for the floods TSP's GDP would have grown 72% this year. This along with loss of investment, loss of crop, loss of peace of mind etc. will add up to 10 trillion dollars of loss just in the last 6 months. Sherry should cut to the chase and ask the world 'When will this money hit our bank account?'
Why should we in Pakistan pay for catastrophic floods we had no part in causing?
Pakistan continues to pay in loss and damages for the carbon emissions of others. This must change
What is needed given today’s pace of change is a tripling of the climate financing targets of $100bn, and not double-counting these as overseas development assistance, but actualised, transparent, agile resource transfers. Currently, much of the best-termed green financing often loses potency thanks to protracted periods of pipelining, during which time resilience needs on the ground change quantitively. Simplified, long-term climate financing instruments are needed to plug severe capacity deficits in the developing countries right now.

Pakistan has set ambitious targets for reducing reliance on fossil fuels, as well as afforestation, but we insist on a just energy transition for cutting greenhouse gases by 50% by 2030. While this means the cost has to be shared, it is not as if there’s no money in the system – big oil and gas firms are making huge profits while they enhance emissions, with no one holding their feet to the fire. Oxfam reports that less than 18 days of gas and oil titans’ profits can cover the entire $49bn of the UN’s global humanitarian appeal for 2022. It is not unreasonable to ask why countries with a negligible carbon footprint, like Pakistan, must pay for global warming catastrophes we had no part in creating.

BTW is that a female RAA ajint in the photo?

Yawn - Top flood response body insists no shortage of food in Pakistan
The National Flood Response Coordination Centre (NFRCC) said on Friday that there was no shortage of food items in the country, adding that wheat stocks were also sufficient amid fears the cataclysmic rains had devastated agricultural crops.

In the latest update, the forum said: “A huge stock of wheat for [the] next six months is available along with the strategic reserve which is sufficient till next harvesting season.”
..

It said that bumper tomato crops were harvested last year, which were more than sufficient to fulfil the country’s requirements. The NFRCC said a total of 7.5m tons of potatoes were harvested when the total requirement was 4.2m tons.

We lack 2010-like resources to help Pakistan: US State Dep
LAHORE: US State Department Counselor Derek Chollet has said the reason for the reduction in US aid during the recent floods in contrast to the 2010 floods is not Pakistan-US relations but a lack of resources. Speaking to the BBC from Washington, Derek Chollet said the situation was radically different in 2010. “At the time, the US Congress had allocated billions of dollars for the welfare of the people in Pakistan in recognition of the efforts made in the context of the Afghan war. But we don’t have those resources now,” he explained.

The Afghan war was on its peak in 2010 and the United States considered Pakistan its closest ally, but their relations have fluctuated over the past 12 years. Last year, US-led NATO forces withdrew from Afghanistan, which led the Taliban government there.

After begging demanding relief for floods, Bakis preparing to beg/demand aid for water shortage...

Yawn - Despite floods, up to 20 pc water shortage forecast for Rabi
Despite floods and torrential rainfall that wreaked havoc across the country and inundated swathes of lands, particularly in Sindh and Balochistan, the country will face a water shortage of 15 to 20 per cent in the upcoming Rabi cropping season.

The anticipated water shortage for the Rabi season, beginning October 1, is expected to dent mainly the wheat crop.

The technical committee meeting, which was also attended by representatives of the provinces, Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) and Met Office, noted that Tarbela Dam was filled to capacity, while storage in Mangla Dam was almost 50 pc of its conservation level.

Blinken urges Pakistan to seek China debt relief after floods
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday called on Pakistan to seek debt relief from close partner China as floods devastate the country.

Blinken promised strong US support for Pakistan as it dries out from the floods, which have submerged one-third of the country, an area the size of the United Kingdom.

“We send a simple message. We are here for Pakistan, just as we were during past natural disasters, looking ahead to rebuild,” Blinken said after talks in Washington with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

“I also urged our colleagues to engage China on some of the important issues of debt relief and restructuring so that Pakistan can more quickly recover from the floods,” Blinken said.

Bakistani hospitality is well documented. That was the main allure for visiting goras. Even Baki bureaucrats recall how Nawaz gunda used to dine with more than 100 people on daily basis and how gost was flowing like water.

That defies physics, or something. You certainly mean daaru was flowing like water?
The main allure for Goras is the open Huzoor mai baap attitude that does not exist in the West anymore, after the demise of the British Raj.

Chinese are getting targeted in Karachi again.
Dual Chinese citizen shot dead in Karachi
KARACHI: An unknown assailant shot dead a dual Chinese-Pakistani national and injured two others at a dental clinic in the busy Saddar areas of Karachi on Wednesday evening, which the senior police officials described as a targeted attack.

Police said that the assailant entered the HU clinic, disguising as a patient, and then opened fire on the doctors and the staff and escaped on foot. An employee at the clinic, identified as 32-year-old Ronald Diamond Chau died in the attack, they added.
In response to another question, Kharal said: “From the initial investigation, it seems that the aim of the shooter was to target Chinese citizens. But the actual motive would be determined after the arrest of the accused,” he added.

Kharal recalled that the Chinese consulate and the stock exchange were attacked by terrorists in the city in the past. Apart from the suicide bomb attack in Karachi University, he added, there were also bomb blasts in Saddar and Kharadar localities.

Meanwhile, the footage of the escape of the accused also surfaced, in which a man could be seen as soon as the firing takes place inside the clinic. It also showed that panicky pedestrians on the sidewalks after hearing the gun shots.

The footage further showed that the accused wore in black pants and shirt and was wearing a red peak cap while running away from the clinic. While traffic on the road continued to ply in the area.

HBL faces liability in terror financing case in US, bank says will ‘vigorously’ contest allegations
Pakistan’s largest bank, Habib Bank Limited (HBL), faces secondary liabilities in a terror financing case in the United States in which the plaintiffs had alleged the bank aided and abetted al-Qaeda terrorism and joined in a conspiracy to launch attacks that killed or injured 370 people in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2019.

The bank faces the liabilities under the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act as a party that “aids and abets, by knowingly providing substantial assistance, or who conspires with the person who committed such an act of international terrorism”, according to a New York district court order issued on September 28.
According to the court order, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, the plaintiffs alleged that the attacks were planned, authorised and committed by al-Qaeda, sometimes in conjunction with one or more other groups, including: Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, the Afghan Taliban, including the Haqqani Network, and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

Judge Lorna G. Schofield said HBL “placed terrorists or those linked to terrorists on a ‘whitelist’ or ‘good guy list’ of people ostensibly pre-cleared for reduced scrutiny of their transactions [and] engaged in tactics, such as ‘wire-stripping’, that shield the identities of parties to transactions”.

The order stated that the plaintiffs had presented sufficient facts to infer that the bank used its New York branch “to further [al-Qaeda’s] terrorist goals”.

“The complaints give rise to a reasonable inference that defendant knew its customers were integral to al-Qaeda’s overall campaign of terrorism, carried out directly and by proxy. That is sufficient to allege the general awareness element.

“The complaints allege that defendant took deliberate steps to help customers evade international sanctions regimes, and in doing so incurred business risk that ultimately led to defendant’s expulsion from the US. Those allegations are sufficient …,” the order stated.

Judge Schofield said the allegations were sufficient to show that HBL “joined in a conspiracy to commit the attacks”. However, she turned down the plaintiffs’ claims of primary liability because none of the alleged banking services provided by HBL “were themselves acts of international terrorism”.

In its statement, HBL said its motion was successful in two respects: the court dismissed the primary liability claim and narrowed the case substantially.

“The court also stated secondary liabilities will be evaluated following due legal proceedings and no judgement was passed by the court on this matter,” it stated.

“HBL has made investments in management and resources to strengthen its AML and CFT protocols by partnering with global experts in this field. The bank seeks to adhere to the highest standards of compliance with international and country laws and regulations,” it added.

Prior to this, HBL had agreed to pay a fine of $225 million — the largest ever imposed upon a Pakistani bank by regulatory authorities — in 2017 for various violations of New York’s regulatory provisions.

The bank had also agreed to surrender its licence to operate a branch in New York and unwind its operations there. The branch had been operational since 1978.

In a strongly worded release issued at the time, the Department of Financial Services (DFS) of New York State had harshly castigated the bank and added that “DFS will not stand by and let Habib Bank sneak out of the United States without holding it accountable for putting the integrity of the financial services industry and the safety of our nation at risk.”

HBL had become the target of an enforcement action by DFS for 53 separate violations allegedly committed between 2007 and 2017.
