The terrorists in Jaish-e-Mohammad gave that number. and speculation was its RDX.
I disputed that on Twitter as 350Kg RDX would leave a huge crater.
The police said 100 kg.
Now wig found a news report its Ammonium Nitrate sued for commercial rock blasting.
Its a medium explosive.

I am thankful the convoy attack was limited to one bus out of 78 buses.

How hard would it be to pass a resolution that MoD will no longer consider products from companies that are going to sell/have sold arms to pakistan? Obviously this cannot be applied retroactively, but it may be a good way to choke off their weapons sources to just chinese maal

Over the last 15 years or so. I have come to the conclusion that when time has come for someone's distruction. He picks a fight with Modi in such a way that a retreat for him or mercy from Modi is not possible.

This attack is such an action. He has been placed in such a position from which inaction is not an option. Modi has the will power and the expertise of winning such fights. JeM is done. Only a matter of time. TSPA has to decide JeM dies alone or they die alongside JeM.

Imran is not even in a position to be used a Condom.

Nation is collectively observing 5 stages of grief, and this is the most constructive place to express it. Twitter is complete gutter.

What this generation is feeling now will shape our society in coming decades.

Having said that War/retaliation will only hurt us, they need the same treatment of 1000 cuts, and proxy war.

India needs to declare war on Pakistan. All terrorist actions are acts of war. If you see the video posted earlier, Pakistani General said that suicide attacks and were coming. Therefore this is a deliberate action of the Pakistan Government. Once war is declared, Indian forces need to develop plans to retaliate. The IAF must deliver overwhelming retribution on the enemy. Some say there should not be airstrikes. Why not? Why then should India buy the Rafale or MKI or the Phalcon or even the Tejas? IAF needs to attack economic infrastructure and JEM and LET hideouts.

Army should prepare 50 strike teams and let them attack targets of opportunity at will. Artillery shelling should be nonstop on the border and full strike corps in cold start mode be stationed at forward launch stations.

Navy should blockade all Pakistan ports and hunt and kill their subs with P8s.

Give Pakistan 10 days to hand over Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar. Failing that, start action.

Anything less would be cowardice.

We have a WA group for discussion of technical matters with members from all over the world. There is growing demand from Indians on board to kick out Pakis.

People are really angry this time and I am sure this is not going end well for Pakis. GOI is not being blamed by any of them, anger is directed towards Pakis only. People are in no mood to listen to headmaster son kind of sob.

Even presstitutes like Radia tape, Turdesai are feeling the heat. RuNDTV and ToIlet had to retract their steps.

With Modi ji asking MP/MLAs/Ministers to attend funerals in their constituency, a comprehensive national will is being created.

You have to avenge loss. Whether it hurts or doesnt hurt is part luck and part preparation.

When the provacation is clear as daylight and you are the bigger guy, not avenging a provocation can break character and soul forever.

India will be in league of south africa if it settles to avenge by thousand cuts.

Response to any terrorist attack should occur in 24 hours. Why is the Indian Army still in a reactive mode? This was predicted. Why was a response not kept ready by the army and air force?j

masood azhar may die a natural death of "diebetes and kidney failure" soon... if push comes to shove, the pak elites will throw their own relatives under the bus, azhar is a disposable cats paw at best.

I am saying if Modi ji does not act in a demonstrably aggresive manner, he is v likely to fare poorly at the elections. I hope he takes the hard and difficult decision..if he does, then he is riding home in the LS elections. I believe air strikes which cant be denied ( either by indian opposition parties and the napakis) and which cause substantial PA casualties is the way to go..and yes it cant happen today/tommorow ...but it has to happen soon enough. rest everything else can wait.

A military response from Modi will insure a win in 2019 a non response will make the outcome a lot more open. No choice but to respond.

Centre, J&K Decide To Block Flow Of 531 MCM Water To Pakistan From Ujh Project, Will Be Diverted To Other States

The Central and the Jammu and Kashmir governments on Tuesday (12 February) decided to immediately devise a roadmap to block flow of 531 million cubic metres (MCM) of water going to Pakistan by construction of Ujh Multipurpose project in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The blocked water will be diverted to Punjab, Haryana and, if possible, even to Rajasthan with construction of canals.

According to the report, a high-level meeting was held in Delhi on 12 February under the chairmanship of J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik, and attended by Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Jitendra Singh and officials form central and J&K governments among others.

Earlier, the top officials working on the Ujh project reportedly discovered that out of 781 MCM water that the project will generate, 531 MCM would have flown to Pakistan as Kathua and surrounding areas only had the capacity to get 250 MCM water. Owing to this, the ground breaking ceremony of the project was taken off from the schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the state on 3 February.

Following this, MOS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh took up the matter with both the central as well as state governments after which the high-level meeting took place.

“After threadbare discussions, it has been decided that a roadmap would be devised immediately to block flow of 531 MCM water to Pakistan after construction of the project and instead spread this water to the neighbouring State of Punjab followed by Haryana and, if possible, even up to Rajasthan as it has been observed that only 250 MCM water would reach Kathua and its surroundings,” official sources were quoted in the report as saying.

But this decision was taken on 12th.

That deputy editor of RuNDTV has been suspended for antinational tweet after outcry from people.

ToIlet had to give clarification on its headline in which it stated "Government blames..." instead of being specific about mention.

There will HAVE to be VISIBLE action at least of an equivalent kind in this instance even while the long-term treatment by 1000 cuts is preferable. They are not mutually exclusive IMHO.

If response after years of deadly attacks and thousands of men in uniform and civilians killed is still hurried or emotional and if there is no plan yet to tackle Pakistan then we need to cut defense spending in half.

If like you say that a quick response will be an emotional response, then you are suggesting that Indian armed forces are sitting on their behinds. Their job is to protect and based on what we read, they are ready to execute with lists of targets ready.

Where is the emotion I ask you though- this is survival and defending India’s way of life? The enemy has attacked innumerable times. India should be prepared to respond - calmly with the only emotion expressed by the bullets and the bombs.
