Their foreign minister has acknowledged the strike on "their" soil. So irrespective of whom we bombed the enemy will have to strike back.

Modi is attending some award ceremony as Normal as he does

I think the game has changed significantly now. The threshold for violence has come down significantly. If they try this "launching pad" nonsense, those "launching pads" and the nearest military support bases are going to PGM'd.

As it is , Paki journos are deleting twitter posts which said Balakot in Pak territory was attacked.

Right, but we were forced to strike their terrorist because they didn't. That's what the GoI said in the presser. So while they will have an echandee issue, they cannot attack us only for that. And if they do, we can justifiably expand our engagement envelope beyond terrorist camps. I don't think their 3.5 will show up to help at that point.

A psychological self-imposed redline has been blown away by this one action! All these while, while doing "khada nindan", there was a "why escalate" mentality due to MAD fear, which the pakis routinely took advantage of. Even after the surgical strikes, they thought it was a one-off thing. Now that they have been publicly spanked twice by "de-briefing" them, hope they get some sense. Else next time it will be the turn of our Indian Navy to cripple Karachi port & their economy for next 20 years!

Now that NaMo has set the tone, it will be difficult for any future govt (in the worst case on non-NDA govt coming to power) to absorb any paki terrorist attack silently. Wish they had done this soon after 26/11.

India has given them a *fig leaf* by emphasizing that it was per-emptive strike on terror camps BUT if the bakis want to convert it into an attack on Bakistan ... well that is their choice. The baki quam will never accept being slapped by yindu bania.

Bakis don't have conventional capacity to punish India but they can sure try and get trashed. The other option of strategic response is out of the question. Sub-conventional strike is always possible BUT Modi has started responding to that too by pulling their chaddi down.

Lose-lose wonlee but one must never underestimate a varmint.
