Overall, the internet/comm shutdown and cellphone seizures in POK and Khyber-Pakthoonwa indicate something big brewing. Also tie into the reports from Balochistan last week (well after the air skirmish) of PA commandeering any transports and rushing out eastwards towards "LOC".

What would be the Indian reason given, for a massive ground invasion (because that is what is needed)? To push the LOC 30km and create a buffer zone? I am not able to understand the reason for the Paki panic, unless **THEY** are planning something which will trigger an all-out attack from India.

Frankly I cannot see India take any such all-out action under present circumstances. So what are the Pakis panicked about? Unless they have completely "lost it" and are going for their usual "Dilli chalo" or hoping to invade Srinagar/ cut off at Chaamb, there is only one other explanation:

Coup/ mutiny in progress.

India can do a China with Pakistan. Push the LOC a few km, and quickly pullback. This would be a H&D exercise.

In the air raids, the PAF targeted a Brigade HQ, A Battn HQ and a Ammo Dump..

As per the twitter user bababanaras, recently a PA Ammo Dump was destroyed by Arty. Not sure how reliable this is.

Pakistani air space restrictions continue along the country’s borders with India, the Rawalpindi headquartered 10 Corps along with a Special Forces brigade from Sialkot of the Pakistan Army have been deployed all along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pak Army deployment including radars and air defence system along the LoC was strengthened immediately after the February 14 Pulwama attack as they expected Indian retaliation similar to that of the surgical strike,”

^^ Wonder how much is this costing them? Must be at the edge of their stockpiles and $$ if this continues another few weeks

All this heightened activity must be a goldmine for our EW assets to capture into their databases ( must be similar for their side too)

I guess air space restrictions means they can fly their AWACS and refuellers without transponders... and ensures trigger happy SAMs do not create a Malaysian Airlines like incident

Has anyone seen their AWACS flying on flightradar?

Not enough, ways must be found to force them to spend more money. Forcing them to scramble planes every hour, 24x7 would be a good place to start. Another way to do it, would be to send 1/3rd of a Corps on a loud tour of the border to make them think an attack that could happen anywhere on the border is eminent, or have the a frigate stalk their oil tankers within visual range

Also, apparently they got $4 billion in “loans” from China & UAE to tide them over the next few weeks. This is turning from Pakistan draining India by a thousand cuts to Pakistan draining China by a thousand cuts :rotfl:

It's about 150 km from Multan the north south road East of Indus. Withe a nice spider web of roads.

Imagine the possibilities from the Indian perspective.

Sorry if already posted.. but lot of information..
Balakot air strikes count revealed! 263 terrorists had assembled at JeM camp in Pak for training - EXCLUSIVE

and
More proof of IAF Balakot airstrikes! Over 200 terrorists were at JeM camp, Pakistan Army men killed: Reports

More proof of IAF Balakot airstrikes emerges! Indian Air Force (IAF) strike in Balakot may have killed many terrorists and some Pakistan Army men, claim various TV reports. According to Times Now report, a total of 263 terrorists gathered at the JeM training facility at Balakot days ahead of IAF air strike. Among those terrorists, 18 were senior commanders and 83 were beginners. Around 91 terrorists were given advanced training and 25 terrorists came to learn special training. Four Pakistan Army men were killed during Balakot air strike carried out by IAF, claims an India Today TV report.

In a “non-military, preemptive strike”, Indian Air Force’s Dassault Mirage 2000s targeted training facilities of the dreaded terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region and killed a “large number” of terrorists in the wee hours of February 26. The TV report claims four Pakistan soldiers were killed in the pre-dawn strike by IAF fighter jets. Some reports have also claimed evidence that one of Pakistan Air Force’s fighter jets that violated India’s airspace was an F-16 fighter jet and that it crashed across the Line of Control (LoC).

A tape of one of the local residents has emerged, narrating the events of IAF airstrike. The person in the tape played out by India Today TV says that a building was damaged and the incident happened in the wee hours of February 26. Apart from this, a police officer in Pakistan’ Bhimber has also resportedly confirmed that Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 fighter jet crashed on February 27. Other TV reports reveal that a few bodies were burnt and dumped by Pakistani authorities.

According to a Republic TV report, authorities in Pakistan suspended internet services in Balakot to check circulation of images and videos even as Pakistan Army took away mobile phones. Bodies were disposed of in Kunhar river. Those who survived the attack were taken to the Waziristan-Afghanistan border.<snip> //

Check out SQB02ERA at Lahore. Turns out it is an unmarked Boeing 747, belonging to Turkish company My Cargo Airlines. This company is partly owned by Chinese owners. Interesting.

I get the feeling that time is running out for the Pakistanis. They have not been showing irreversible progress towards dismantling the terror infrastructure. After giving international diplomacy a few weeks to work, India is now justified in taking out a few more targets.

Not only that, Election Commission code of conduct doesn’t cover External affairs. Fixing the Pakistan problem is perhaps the only policy initiative the Government can push until the new Government is sworn in.

"lame duck" just as rightist/leftist is a western construct. lets be honest, in which context did we first hear that word for the first time in our lives? not in india I am sure.

GOI need not hold ourselves hostage to such fake jails no matter how much the oppn wails about it.

India had specific intelligence that new terror trainees & old trainers of #JeM were at #Balakot. Strike based on specific intelligence. PAF F-16 had two pilots. Where are they? IAF MiG-21 shot down F-16. Pak army doesn't accept its pilot became shaheed. Sad story: @nsitharaman

Considered decision of @narendramodi govt: If there is terror then there will be consequences for terror sponsors: @rsprasad on #AajTakSurakshaSabha. Pak must arrest & prosecute #HafizSaeed & #MasoodAzhar for improving ties with India. If there is more terror, then more strikes.

#Balakot is not linked to #Pulwama. Intelligence agencies had input about terrorists being prepared for suicide attacks in India. @PMOIndia took the decision. Pak response was a botched up operation by Pak. Every Indian must be proud of #IAF: @arunjaitley at #AajtakSurakshaSabha

There is no concept of "lame duck" executive in India (well, in relation to election onlee. Not not any other factor). Even an interim PM hold full executive authority accountable to the parliament (The President and Rajya Sabha in case the Lok Sabha is dissolved). It is just a convention that interim PMs do not make policy decisions.

IMO, this is the most significant Tweet. So, the Modi Government is keeping the option open to hit another target if Pakistan doesn’t show steps towards irreversibly dismantling terror operations.

I am sure this has been communicated to everyone trying to “mediate”, which is why there is so much pressure on Pakistan & Pakistan is so hyper-mobilized trying to deter this.

This will obviously play very well in the elections. With Pulwama, the Bakistanis tried to corner PM Modi before the elections and now are like the dog that finally caught the car

Ghafoor was trying to cover up Muzzaffarabad raid on tweeter and typing fast when the Balakot must have been hit.

He did not inform us about Balakot strike..

In addition to Balakot, two targets near Muzzafarabad and Chakoti were hit. I think IAF's official statement has the mention of these places. Don't remember if the first GOI statement had it in it.
